Forget about buy and hold until MTGox starts charging fees again. Big hands are buying tons of lots and sell inmediatly after a few pips up.
There is only one big hand - MtGox. And it doesn't charge fee for itself. U r so naive...

Hey where are all the teddybears?
hiding in a corner feeling stupid?
I'm ya huckleberry! Let's see I said in another thread it would start around $80 last night and it quickly went to $76 (you called me an idiot I do believe kind sir). Then I said it would settle at $100 and it went straight there, before Gox shutdown. I said it would go below $50 this afternoon and it is at $55. I also sold the day before the bubble burst which I said in my first thread before the bubble burst. I'm like 10/10 and 1600% richer so far. Not in any corner or feeling stupid. Proud in the center of the ring!

Slight buyback?
Not for me. My money is out of Gox and I'm waiting a week or two to see how things shake out first. Confidence is lost and any run up now is just dumb speculation. If it does start going back up I'll be looking at puts on Bitfinex next. I seriously doubt it though, I think those with real money are going to sit on the sidelines for a while. I don't plan to put any money in for 2 weeks.

How Ripple Rips you: "The founders of Ripple Labs created 100 billion XRP at Ripple's inception. No more can be created according to the rules of the Ripple protocol. Of the 100 billion created, 20 billion XRP were retained by the creators, seeders, venture capital companies and other founders. The remaining 80 billion were given to Ripple Labs. Ripple Labs intends to distribute and sell 55 of that 80 billion XRP to users and strategic partners. Ripple Labs also had a giveaway of under 200 million XRP (0.002% of all XRP) via World Community Grid that was later discontinued.[29] Ripple Labs will retain the remaining 25 billion"

MtGox quote : "To fix this issue, we decided to make some major changes in our hardware infrastructure."
Forget about growing user numbers, DDoS, Bots, Hardware... That's a crappy shitty software
Ask any coder, a shitty peice of software cannot run fast, whaterver hardware it runs on ! Put the Gox code on a multi-million $ server / infrastructure, it will not be faster...
I bet they are still using the original code, with patches, mods, update applyied... I mean, the original code that was used when MtGox was standing for Magic The Gathering Online eXchange !!!
