Does whatever excuse he fed you somehow make it so he isn't someone stupid enough to believe garza or scummy enough to spew his bullshit?

I'm having trouble coming up with a scenario that doesn't fit into one of those 2 groups, so whatever the excuse is, he isn't to be trusted/worked with in the future.

QED !

That's why CCN dumped him & why I boycott Bitcoinist. I suggest that everyone should.

(edit for @perryl)  We are still on this thread doing our best to learn the lessons from the fiasco & have them stick.

Players Like Scott Fargo keep popping up like, "Hey guys, I'm back!"  We need to let him know that we have not forgotten...

As long as these GAW / XPY / ION people still roam the planet, we must be vigilant & warn others & keep fighting until we get justice.

I saw this in Suchmoon's sig and had to view it, but 2300 pages? Damn. Can't believe this thread is still getting activity today.

We gotta accept it guys, I took an 18 month break from Crypto because of losing on this and a few others. I don't even bother with cloud mining now, lol.

Genesis couldn't even give me sensible answers, I kept questioning until they stopped responding. They never did explain to me why my account claims I have hashrate but I never get a payout. lol. Whatever. They're all scams. Like most altcoins are.

I hope this becomes a class action. I wouldn't mind getting my money back. Pretty sure I have my wallet backed up and some old transaction records, but I've long accepted this money to be gone. Sure, it sucks, but like they always say.

Never invest more than you can afford to lose.

Just saying "never invest more than you can afford to lose" doesn't make you less of an idiot when you fall for an obvious scam like this.

I'm glad your learning since it seems like you are not bothering with cloud mining, but take this as a lesson as to what to look for in teh future.

This thread should live on to show people what to look for and how to tell if you are getting scammed.

Shavers was sentenced for 18 months - https://www.sec.gov/litigation/complaints/2013/comp-pr2013-132.pdf

I hope Garza gets at least triple that amount. He can't plead he didn't know what he was doing when he purposely made a coin.

Allen Shinners, former wannabe GAWMiners employee, then outspoken critic, then business partner with the Usual Suspects & now leader of the GAWsuit, believes that Homero stashed millions offshore in fiat.

He has good reason to believe this & to spend so many hours working on this, and he clearly had access to inside info.

Getting a monetary judgement in his favor, however, and then getting his hands on said funds, moreover, are completely separate & difficult unrealistic expectations, IMO.

I'd love to know what he knows.....

I highly highly doubt it. I do believe Homero Googled store money offshore but there's no way he did it successfully. The farthest he went would be to give it to a fake banker/Nigerian. Remember Homero is retarded. But we'll see.

Does anyone recall what time Garza started on pushing the Paycoin to be accepted by merchants? I know a couple private merchants accepted like Pexpeppers and even made a version of sauce with the logo on it.

I think OneCoin/Onelife will attempt their push in Oct to be accepted by merchants. I haven't seen the app yet but wanted a smaller user group reference in history that was already attempted to show on other social media to help show its been tried before.

As I recall, it was only Pex Peppers~!

Remember the line of GAWMiners / ZenMiners SWAG sold by Monica & @Prodigi?

Even THEY would never accept Paycoin, only BTC   Grin Grin Grin

~ January 2015. Wasn't much of a push, Garza just expected the world to come to him begging for paycoins.

After talking to people over the years for these type of financial crimes. It takes the SEC on average 18 months to just investigate someone, let alone compile a suite on them.
Not only was Garza lying and falsifying documents, other people/entities were as well. Making it a nightmare to sift through.

It was a nightmare -- and the SEC plowed thru it -- with the help of a lot of Crypto educators, White Hat Haxxors & Pissed-off Victims.  Cheesy
