https://novaexchange.com/addnodes/TALK/

why not an onlinewallet with api and a mobile app to use it everywhere?

And how is that any different than an user just using an exchange from their portable device?

The only difference I see is just us paying for something , we are already getting for free.  Tongue

@ZEIT, Our goal here is to make sure the coin network works and is secure, that's it.
(The Same Way Linus Torvalds only focus is the Linux Kernel.)

Everything else we are leaving up to 3rd party providers,
ie: Offchain transactions, Anon transactions, Mobile device support
None of these need direct support built into the code, all can be handled by 3rd parties.

Here we focus on the main goal:
a fast working coin network with ample transaction capacity that is efficient and affordable for the entire world not just the rich elite.
Anyone want more, feel free to build a 3rd party service and we will update the OP.

Quote
WHAT MAKES CARDANO SL SPECIAL?
While there are similarities between Bitcoin and Cardano SL, there are also many differences between these two cryptocurrencies. The most significant difference is that Bitcoin is a proof of work type cryptocurrency, while Cardano SL makes use of a proof of stake approach to reach consensus. This encourages honesty and long term participation.
https://cardanodocs.com/introduction/#what-makes-cardano-sl-special

Also ETH is hard selling POS.

Add Strat, DCR, NAV.

The general public with arrive at consensus, someday too,  POS makes sense for the long term participant investor/holders.

Quote
Satoshi originally intended the Bitcoin network to be decentralized, over hundreds of thousands of computers. Today, the Bitcoin network is completely controlled by three mining pools.

Why not?

Dear all!
All Altcoin are growing and increasing! BTCtalkcoin (TALK) is a good coin, had a long time development! Need more attention of the community in the future. I hope BTCtalkcoin (TALK) can reach $ 1 in 2018.
Thanks

This is one of the only staking coins that has still made it with a decent percentage, and lower entry price.   You should try to get on another exchange.  CMC is only showing Yobit left.

How many do you have to have to stake about once a week? Once a day?

We need to raise funds (like $500+), which can be done.

Cryptopia costs around $30k, I'd throw 5% if others wish to spend big cash.

Other exchanges :

CoinsMarket
Freimarket
CoinExchange
tradeToshi

I like the last 2.

I don't think many.
If you want to stake once a day best to have dozens of different deposit times.  You'll likely stake a block everyday.

Want to play?
Send me an address (PM)
I'll send small deposits every odd day or so that will build a fairly solid stake-ability.

There are a lot of smaller exchanges that need support.  I really like CoinExchange, and TradeSatoshi, but the latter asks .002 for BTC withdrawels.  Using DOGE for many things, this wouldn't be a problem for me, but I don't like it at all when exchanges charge huge fees,
which a lot of them are starting to do (like Bittrex).

Thanks for the offer, I am dl'ing/syncing the wallet now.

Is the wallet we want the one from the OP?  I get a "Check Point is Too Old" comment.  I know this is common and I've run a LITECOIN wallet with the error but not sure exactly if this is the last one we want.   What exactly does that error mean?

"Check Point is Too Old" comment is years old.
years.

Thing still works.  you will likely have to off/on/reboot/reload a few times.  It can hang if you are downloading from block zero.

Groggin has a recent bootstrap posted up above.

Also I prefer a TALK/Doge market myself.

Thanks.  Just thinking out loud here.  So, I gather that this is one of those wallets that takes more tweaking than average to work properly.  Also, it does give an error easy to fix on boot.  The OP poster is still online, why don't we all work together on getting a better one uploaded?   I have had some bad luck in the past with bootstraps, maybe others have too.  I now stake about 9 coins actively, and building another machine to do more.  If I add a node to conf file it may sync better?   Just putting in some energy here not FUDDING.  The general public wants things easier whereas programmers have a type of macho attitude to have to solve things with the least possible explanation, which is the opposite of how some aspects of business works.

Yes the code is kinda clunky, but from 2014 and functional.  Still a solid wallet once you have it sync'd.

Thinking out loud too.   Forking off to the best of the masternode codes in the future is on the table.  No rush.  Spinoff.  Like BTC, TALK can float off side projects, even tokens.  So hold TALK keep it and yield the new spinoffs.

TALK Masternodes is a good idea, would also recommend trying to get listed on SuperNET's BarterDEX early, it doesn't look that difficult, and support from jl777 is great.

I just noticed that I'm still at 11% after two days.  Is there a .conf file I could  put in some newer nodes to speed it up?  Looks like the last listed bootstrap is unavailable now.

Strange thing, I rebooted it and it said 23% done then went back to after a little while 11%.

TALK is primarily focused on finding the best and most viable POS projects.

It can expand to up lifting the decent POW chains later too.

After that the OP seems to state being a node of communication for this website.
That's cool too.

There after launching tokens and knowing the better platforms.

If you are OG then ya'll been in the game for nearly 4 years.

That's the back room knowledge base that congregates  in this thread.

For the exchange.  I am not keen on Yo, so likely OTC incentives until the BTC market cools off.
I like the options for next exchange, a DEX would be preferred.
