Excerpt from the Poem "Don't Quit!" ...Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the clouds of doubt. And you never can tell how close you are, it may be near when it seems afar. So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit - It's when things go wrong that you must not quit. Congratulations BitBay Team! You Never Quit. That's HUGE!!! The WORLD'S FIRST web-based marketplace with absolutely no middlemen - WOW!!! (This must fulfill a prophecy somewhere...)

WTF? BAY doesn't need a FREE listing in light of the Cryptopia situation? Let me know in comment rather than censorship. A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by the starter of a self-moderated topic. There are no rules of self-moderation, so this deletion cannot be appealed. Do not continue posting in this topic if the topic-starter has requested that you leave. You can create a new topic if you are unsatisfied with this one. If the topic-starter is scamming, post about it in Scam Accusations. I have said time and time again for years that coin market cap is the most dangerous and damaging site in crypto.
agree. also need to filter by days of blockchain, projects with 1000 days of existing are nearly shadow banned.

@Munti – Please remove the Advertising quote from the Bitcoin Forum above. I don't think our Bay forum should be for the advertisement of Antilly.com or anything else. It’s also very distracting from all this great news. Thanks

Perhaps the team thought it was just an advertisement. No worries. I don't really believe in censorship although sometimes the mods clear out comments on the thread. Didn't Cryptopia go insolvent?

Who knows? Only the NZ police have posted any info. Word is only ETH and erc20 tokens were affected. Exchange has been closed for near a month. No Communication. Even if they open only a fool will trade there after such performance.

I've made software to decentralize so many things but it goes unnoticed because people flock to volume. It would be nice to see this change some day.

That change is coming… It’s very, very hard for a slave to run away.
This will all change in the West when derivative markets melt down ($4 quadrillion outstanding), banks go on ever increasing holidays, inflation kicks into high gear (Venezuela, etc.) and the extent of ALL market manipulation becomes so evident (ex. 300 owners of a paper gold ounce, to one owner who actually takes delivery of physical) – even the blind will see…
Asians (China and India) are different – all Bay needs is a foothold (a big exchange) in Asia to pick us up and their entrepreneurial nature, with a generally higher IQ, will take over and they will LOVE what Bay has to offer and will run with it. The rest of the world will then follow. It’s only a matter of time. Thank You David for this gift of TRUE MONETARY FREEDOM you and the BitBay Team are providing to the world for FREE.

Reality just smacked me in the face when I did a search on Google for "BitBay".
We need to reconcile the differences between BitBay the Coin and BitBay the Polish Exchange. This has been a problem for years. We've now gone from the top 50 to the top 300...
Unless the two come together somehow, the coin (BitBay.market) is just floating around LOST in the number 4 position on Google. I am a SEO expert. This is not good. Even if we DO have the most Feature Rich and Best Crypto on the planet (which we do), we are invisible.
We are F***** until we have our own identity. No one can find us. Do a hard fork and change the name. Changing the name would also give us much needed and positive publicity - which we desperately need.

You are exaggerating. The entire market is down. Almost every coin is 1/10th it's peak in BTC or more. We are page one for BitBay, page one for decentralized markets, page one for unbreakable contracts and so forth. It's okay. Sit back, relax, enjoy the show. Web markets are in demo phase, peg is being integrated to exchanges, client is complete.

That is great to hear - Thank you David. After watching you and Bay for years get to where you are now, if you say "sit back, relax and enjoy the show" - I'm going to order some popcorn (and keep stacking)!
I researched every one the top 500 coins over 2 years ago and came to the conclusion Bay was the best crypto for the long haul. I also made a lot of money trading many different coins literally night and day for 6 months until I burned out; then I just wanted to get one coin and HODL. I chose Bay to hit a Grand Slam in this game of crypto-currency, while the price is very accessible to large purchases.
The name is so great and the project so feature rich; I just hope that people can find us and not the Polish Exchange. lol If Bay hits even 50 cents, and stays there, I am incredibly set for life unless I become a crack head AND get a Dubai stripper addiction. Cheers!

Hahah thats awesome. Yeah thanks for the support and we do have a pretty strong community. We will persist, it's like the "Turtle and The Hare". Slow and steady wins the race. We built first, marketed later.

Great to hear the latest news about BAY development, but can someone from the dev team please confirm that an application for a FREE listing will be made to Antilly.com? Every little helps.

No, I signed up for discord a week ago but I haven't used it. This Forum is about all I have time for as I try to put a lot of thought into what I write. If you have a question for me, ask it here please. Thanks

Most recent update on BitBay's development:
BitBay Community Update — 15th February 2019
"Hi all,
I have finally found some time to write a quick community update and my apologies for the delay in getting this out. It’s been a busy week (as always!) and with the release of some bug fixes and feature updates for the web marketplace, there has been a lot of testing to get done.
So without further delay, here’s what we’ve been up to and what we’re doing next …
Web Marketplace The web markets v0.2 was released to the beta testers in slack. This update saw a few small but annoying bugs fixed, including the issue with trying to buy an item while another blockchain transaction was pending. I’m happy to say everything seems to be running very smoothly again now.
A major feature included in this latest release is the email notification system for all important transactions on the marketplace, keeping buyers and sellers up to date on the progress of their trades. We also introduced the requirement that all buyers and sellers entering into a contract have a verified email address on account, making it easy for the other party to contact them directly.
We also made some minor changes to the navigation system to simplify the flow for users who have bought and sold items.
Our next major release will include the ‘live update service’ (beta v0.3) allowing all contract data to be updated in real-time without the need to refresh the browser and more improvements for mobile and tablet devices.
Once the live update service is tested and release we will be working on a new live chat system enabling real-time conversations between buyers and sellers without leaving the marketplace. We will also be introducing the live escrow-dispute feature to further enhance the DDE process for users.
These are two very important releases as they move us a big step closer to the first ‘open public’ beta. This open beta will be a fully-featured web marketplace including improvements based on the feedback we get from the BitBay community.
Dynamic Peg After successfully completing the development of the new BitBay Qt wallet in preparation for the mainnet release of the dynamic peg, our blockchain and Qt developer Yshurik has now joined the exchange integration team.
This week saw a lot of progress with some major bugs being fixed, and live calls being made between the BitBay and exchange API’s. We are getting close to being able to test the live trading on the exchange with BTC/BAY and BTC/BAYR pairs (where R = reserved).
Next week, in the interests of transparency and keeping the community updated, we will be releasing our development roadmap for the peg so our community can see exactly where we are up to and what is left to do.
As always, the team would like to thank our community for their continued support.
Until next week,
Shorn Project Manager @ BitBay"

Great to hear the latest news about BAY development, but can someone from the dev team please confirm that an application for a FREE listing will be made to Antilly.com? Every little helps. No we won't be listing there, not until they're proven that their exchange is secure (their site had some basic security errors last time I checked).

50 cents would be just okay for what bitbay can achieve with even modest adoption/support. 1 dollar would be a useful figure but even that is not anywhere near the limit of what we should be aiming for long term. We just need some decent size power sellers and reshippers on board when the web marketplace and peg are bug free and easy to use. I do not see that being that far into the distant future.
