Good News Guys,

I asked Polo what the reason was for this 4 confirmations and this was their answer:

We had a bit of a scare with a deposit that was confirmed, but then disappeared. Eventually, the same transaction reappeared (so there was nothing like a double spend), and it looks like it was just a matter of less-than-ideal Zerotime settings in our wallet. We're nearly ready to lower confirmations again, but we're waiting for a final okay from the developers.

Best regards,

Ps Could someone contact John or maybe he sees it himself

@HeartaStack your quote: I've always said polo is crypto mafia (just way more efficient and organised than the clowns at other exchanges). And of course they are in bed with XMR groups, that as we know are out to destroy VNL.

I think you were a little bit 2 quick 2 judge, but happily everything is okay Wink

John-connor knows about it he will talk with them soon i guess

Lol my account was freeze couple of day because it have happen to me.

Lol my account was freeze couple of day because it have happen to me.

what day did this happen?

on 11-13 nov my account was frozen,Send Coin from my VPS wallet to polo account, but VPS was low-end PC,so it was buggy as well for TX confirms, now I know I need to wait like 7-8 hours and don't repairwallet.(which is cancel tx,but polo have catch the receive, well, strange lol)

Still need a fix for low end PC(at least everything work OK for receive, get reward incentive...just sending was strange)

Still no reaction from Xcore they said on Polo? Hopefully next week. Love this great currency. Maybe zero confirmations in the future on Polo?:-)

Is it still not possible to solomine with GPUs straight to the wallet?

For that to be possible you need to setup a private pool. Solomining in the wallet is only possible with the CPU and that's not profitable.

Wallet version 0.4.0 RC2 released
(Source: https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/260/version-0-4-0-rc2-release)

Quote
Changes:
Reduced memory usage.
Improved Berkley Database Performance.
Ability to dump all private keys and addresses to a CSV (comma separated value) file through RPC "dumpwallet".
ZeroTime locked transactions now prefer on-chain inputs over off-chain inputs.
Now uses multiple threads for processing asynchronous IO.
Reduced voting traffic for both Node Incentives and ZeroTime.
Incentive collateral is now kept in a reserve balance so as not to be included in Proof-of-Stake.
Automatic Rotating Wallet Backups at startup (no more than every 24 hours).
Coin Auto-Denomination through RPC "walletdenominate".
Improved wallet handling of keypool size changes.
Performance improvements
Bug Fixes

Denominated transaction support serves one purpose, to take an amount of coins and split them given pre-defined amounts. This can be useful for splitting coins for staking or potentially for performing (anonymous) transaction blending.

An example of a denominated transaction is as follows: https://blockchain.vanillacoin.net/tx/1bbbdaf1b13482ae3012a02d214d801140ce7f0f0dfba1d85e240307b7caa111

The following builds will be updated as we move forward:

http://vanillacoin.net/downloads/Vanillacoin.0.4.0.rc2_32.zip
http://vanillacoin.net/downloads/Vanillacoin.0.4.0.rc2_64.zip
http://vanillacoin.net/downloads/Vanillacoin.0.4.0.rc2.dmg

Thank you for your support.

What about a stratum proxy, will it work?

Setting up a private pool in order to solomine would be like climbing the Mt. Everest for snow. The wallet is capable of accepting local work from the CPU, so is the daemon from pools but accepting work from GPU miners via RPC is still not there. Thanks for the answer though.

Seem to me that Vnl needs to leverage its strengths once it's anonymous. Make something really focused on privacy and unashamedly encrypted. I've had shitty experience with Getgems but a rock solid messaging app leveraging its almost instant sending and encryption would be a great third party product for the community to work on.
