What command changes the password in the wallet? Can I return the last transaction? My passwords stolen. Perhaps through the program TeamViawer.

- there is no command for changing password to already existing one, but you can generate another wallet and encrypt it with a different password. - you can't revert transactions in most crypto, for that purpose is available PayPal. - sorry for your loss. sell books dropped from 950k ~2 weeks ago to 400k just now
looking very good!

So what is the real story regarding open source code attribution? I looked through VNL threads here and didn't find a complete explanation. Probably I just missed something. I suppose it is one of these:
1. The attribution was properly given but certain people missed it. 2. That particular code doesn't need any attribution according to its license. 3. The whole thing was made up to spread some FUD and there was no such code at all. 4. The open source license violation really took place and the fact is carefully protected by some community members attacking anyone who asks question.
So which one is it? Or is it something else?

Because there simply no story.... Crypto is full of suppose story and accusation... Its wild west still. If everything work its simply mad people haven't buy when it was cheap, don't forget VNL is the only one currency have done 3 rise a years with consolidation, btc haven't done that too... Great time in front of us

It's a complete redesign of the old peercoin codebase in C++11. A few people claimed it was run through an auto format, but these people actually never researched the files on github. There are a few files which are similar to what Bitcoin/Peercoin uses since Vanillacoin has obviously the same (P2P crypto-currency) structure: blockchain, wallet etc. This is important since Coin++ gives the opportunity for Peercoin derivatives to switch/upgrade their code bases to Vanillacoin's if they wish. The network protocol is completely different from what bitcoin/peercoin derivatives use. They claim this means copyright infringement, but imho the similarities would never reach that status in a legal battle. Also it's worth to mention that our features like CoinPP, MinerPP, ZeroTime, Wallet (non-qt) are nowhere similar to anything other coins did. Else if they would want a legal battle, who would sue John? Sunny King? Satoshi?

Seems like you didn't quite understand the question or trying to dodge it. Or maybe don't know how open source licenses work.
First of all, i'm asking this question without any relation to this coin's features, innovations, speculative value, or any other altcoin-related things. I'm considering VNL as an open-source software product regardless of it's application here.
So the questions are:
1. Is there any code used in VNL which wasn't written by john-connor but derived from any other open-source licensed project? 2. If yes then is all the mentioned code used with proper attribution?
Of course you can say that "it's all anonymous here, so nobody can sue anyone and we can do all we want". This is OK for a short term pump-and-dump scam or a coin designed for "dark" applications only. But if this project is going to be something big and legal then such thing as a code license should be in perfect order.

Answer to 1) all the code was written by John-conner, though the peer coin code was definatly referenced in building vnl code...
There are a few similarities with the code, similar to using lines like "once apon a time", or "in a land far far away# in a fantasy story But at this time with so many projects using those lines they could easily be considered public domain at this point... everything that makes up the uniqueness of vnl has no references whatsoever. .
If you gave a good understanding of coding please respond negatively or positively to this post.. I am by no means an expert, though I have some understanding of coding. If you haven't read the code or have no understanding learn and research before accusing.

This has already been overly discussed. Read all of the source code and then decide for yourself. If you find anything suspicious your next move would be to hire an IP lawyer to verify the claims are valid. This is how these situations are handled in the real world, not on bitcointalk.org by repeating the same non-facts and expecting some result. Thank you for your support.
