Does anyone have AM share price and volume charts for the past 6 month or so? Would be interesting to see if anyone dumped shortly after December 25th.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I really doubt this is a scam because AM/FC has shown integrity matters more than profit time and time again (200 btc fee returned, prisma refunds, etc) , however the lack of professionalism cannot be ignored. Even if they do somehow make it out of this mess, I hope FC steps down and replaces himself with someone more qualified.

My view over this. There was no other option to the 200 BTC fee except to return them. I can only imagine the investors going crazy if this wasn't returned. As for the prisma refunds the amount doesn't seem too big to me. The batch and the refund weren't that big to really hurt AM. Considering this these 2 points don't really support AM THAT much, but don't get me wrong. These 2 acts of kindness must be appreciated and respected, but not to that extent to bet all the money on it.

Why would FC even waste his time with Prisma refunds if he was going to pull a fast one only 2 months later? And why would he halt AMhash sales?

...
If for example AM was hosting their miners with a 3rd party and stopped paying hosting fee's over the Chinese New Year, the 3rd party might be inclined to withhold access to the miners and instead mine for themselves until payment is made...

Are you saying this is a total fabrication?

update

The 3.546PH AMHash's hashrates have disappeared since 25th Dec 2014. We found this problem two days later,we asked friedcat,he said it was mining farm's maintenance issues, hashrates would come back soon. But one week later, hashrates didn't come back yet. When we asked FC again, we were told that all mining devices were robbed by the partner of the mining farm. And all hashrates were out of control.
After then, FC told us that hashrates from new mining farms will be deployed, but we didn't know the amount at that time.Right now, we still don't receive any update from those new hashrates.

AMHash Team

No not a total fabrication. I'm just interpreting it the way it is written, they no longer have control of the miners and the hosting service has diverted the miners to their own address.

Iirc their partner was hashratio.

I think if AM and the rest of these guys so revere and honor Chinese New Year, and absolutely cannot pay attention to their (EXTREMELY) time sensative businesses, they better hire a skeleton crew of Gaijan to look after OUR investments while they go eat moon cakes and give each other gifts for TWO FUCKING WEEKS.
If there's ever a war with China it will be so fucking easy to win. just wait till Chinese New Year, obviously the whole country goes to shit for 2 weeks and nothing gets taken care of.
what a bunch of assholes.

Let me understand:  You're saying that "disappeared since 25th Dec 2014" means "we just found out yesterday" and "robbed by a partner" is just a meaningless interjection in Cantonese, similar to "um, like, you know" in English?

Wow what a mess.

It would appear that the mysterious disappearance of friedcat is just an attempt to avoid shame (whatever the fuck-up). Which is of course exactly the wrong way of handling things.

I never stated that FC pulled a fast one right now. I only stated what he did and what he didn't and I tried to outline all the bad decisions.

Look it this way. He is the CEO of the company. The daddy. Why would a CEO do anything that will damage the company in the public eyes? It's not what's a CEO is supposed to do. How do you think that AM would've looked if they were ignoring all the Prisma issues? I say that very bad. That's why there was no other option for him and for the company than to do the right things for their customers because otherwise imagine the bad publicity on their next gen miners.

Note: I am not bad intended towards AM. If you think otherwise it's your problem and don't stick it to me. I'm only eager for a good talk.

I'm saying that according to that statement, payments to the mining address stopped on Dec. 25th.  When asked, FC responded that they must be having issues and are under maintenance.  We don't know if that statement was due to ignorance of the situation or was a deliberate fabrication.

When AMHASH inquired again he changed his story to say that he no longer had control of the miners and I'm assuming that the hasrate was (and is) being diverted to the owner of the facilities mining address.  This is in effect the same as being stolen, though without being physically hauled off.

I agree that things look very bad and at this point I'm not holding out much hope.  My original comment was just to infer that the devices might not have been physically stolen, rather just hijacked and further to suggest that it may have been due to negligence on FC's part (by not paying for hosting) and not out right theft by the hosting company.

It would be nice to get a response from Hashratio on this issue.
