no that price is not correct the correct price is 5 btc for under 20 blades and 3.9 btc for 20 to 99 blades. the 3.5 price is for older repeat customers. I just purchased 2 blades for 10 btc about (1118 usd) as I do not have enough coin to buy 20 at 3.9 btc each. What this does for me is allows me to sell off 40 usb sticks at a low price on ebay. Say 40 bucks each or about 1600 usd - 200 in fees or 1400 in my pocket. thus effectively trading 13.2 gh for 21 gh and 1400 -1118 = 200 usd in my pocket. AM rules!! 3.5 is also the price for a buy of 100 and more. People can organize group buy if they want this price. These prices should bring tears to the eyes of those investing in the competition. The scary thing is, imagine what sort of magic boxes and blades will be pouring out of AM skunkworks when the gen2 hits. Good news. seems like a sign next next gen is just around the corner....clearing old stock? In 1 month this game will be very different.

There are a number of passthroughs across 3 or 4 websites. You can also get them OTC. There is a comprehensive thread somewhere that details them all...

Price of BFL Single: $2499 for 50Ghs.
Price for 5x AM blades: 3.5btc x 5 x 130 = $2275 for 50Ghs.
Every single BFL device that has been pre-ordered just got undercut. I would expect nearly every rational actor with a BFL preorder to cancel immediately. Friedcat just bankrupted them.

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's. This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

I assume these prices are for the old blades, do we have any news on when the new blades are coming? It seems like they are way overdue (first promised in June).
Good news on the hash rate coming back up. I hope we can keep it steady this week and prevent another drop. It would be nice to get a decent dividend next week.

Operation: "Offloading" Generation 2 confirmed, commencing... Sources? Or just speculation? just speculation, though it is logical that they would get rid of old stock before the new stock. The new stock, though, is probably the new blades, not Gen 2 blades. FC said assembly will start on the Gen2 in Sep/Oct, so I wouldn't expect Gen2 hardware before Nov 1.

Several posts here show a confusion between next "batch" of blades (250TH), and Gen2.
