To be fair a dividend, if any, would still be tiny no? There's a point where it's not really worth it because of dust rules and transaction fees when you try to spend the inputs.
Dividends are on sales of chips so they would not be based on mining

Dividends are on sales of chips so they would not be based on mining this. investment has been in a business*, not cloud hashing. the value of your shares will rise according to the value of the project, not how many bitcoins it mines *disclaimer - do not spend any more on stocks/shares/gambling, than you can afford to lose.

This is to inform that friedcat met with the board today and provided some updates.
General Update ============== Tapeout and initial testing of the Gen-3 chip was a success. The power draw is higher than expected - it remains to be seen by how much it can be reduced. Current developments focus on optimizing Gen-3 and working on Gen-4 which will be a lower nm tech. Gen-4 is overall a more challenging product, but friedcat and his team are confident that AM can compete both on price and power-efficiency with each generation of chips. AM will provide an open-source reference design for the PBC board for Gen-3 when sales are offered on a more casual basis. The packaging of the chip may change over time (point of optimization), so the board design needs to accommodate this.
The exact pricing is negotiated with large quantity buyers at the discretion of AM within the range advertised. The production rate will be high enough to sustain the empirically observed exponential growth of the hashing power within the near future. AM is trying to trade off risk with rewards as much as possible when allocating chips to self-mining, franchising and sales.
The dividend schedule will be aggressive, as AM will not require large sums of retained capital. The rationale is that AM doesn't need to invest large sums into infrastructure and that the majority of chip production costs will be covered by the business partners on a contract schedule. The new round of dividends are scheduled to begin as soon as the first large purchases have concluded and should precede or coincide with the publication of the updated financial statements.
Please note that some information is subject to change, as this is a very agile business. Please be careful when speculating on company valuation. This information is purely provided as a service to current shareholders and may not be free of errors.
So yep chips but agree with you that it is be cautious

Well, it is quite alarming that people are invested in a company whose product they don't even appear to know, despite the fact that the chips have been called that way since January on every occasion friedcat released specifications. Selling shares could be a smart move in case you're worried about receiving too much BTC

Yes for those of you that don't understand sarcasm and can't be bothered to follow what's going on; it's the bitter end. Sell me your shares cheap as dirt. Information is power.

There are posts from friedcat saying he wanted to diversify out of China way before this cycle of china banning bitcoin every week. I have no idea if there are any hard plans, but it was on his to do list for a very long time.

A big miner producer called "Hashratio" in China also has received a huge amount of Gen3 chips. However, they are focused on self-mining and huge clients, so many people don't know their existence.

One big thing to remember when talking and getting worried about AM is that Friedcat has been straight shooter since day 1.

So RockMiner and Hashratio received moderate to huge amounts of gen3 chips, maybe many others. Seems like finally we get rid of sample chips round and Friedcat is distributing/selling 850k batch1, hmmm
EDIT : also that "Hardware Errors : 0" with only air cooling used on RM pic is impressive

I wish we'd get an official notice from Friedcat that chips are indeed purchased and shipping out.
