1001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the best strategy Trading configuration on: July 02, 2023, 09:25:43 PM
If you don't have any good working strategy, then you have no business using any bot or paying for its pro version at all and sorry to break it up to you, no successful trader would just come only to spill secrets about his excellently working strategy.

You are going to be misled in the name of buying bots and subscribing to plans to "generate you more money". Learn how to trade, create a workable strategy, back test it to see if it's really worth it, and then you can think about bots.
1002  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Violation of the delisting procedure on the Poloniex exchange on: July 01, 2023, 10:53:13 PM
Most importantly, why do you keep coins in a centralized exchange if you are not going to trade for a long time? This is the very exact reason you have been advised against the practice so many times.

The time limit given for the traders to withdraw the funds is very short, though. Maybe they have to extend it. I am not surprised this is happening in an exchange owned by the scammer called Justin Sun.

1004  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cheap Solar Kit Panel, Running Node with free electrical Cost on: June 30, 2023, 11:55:51 PM
Beware that there are a lot of counterfeit solar products in the market. So when you are looking at buying something that looks cheap, look out for its quality or else you will end up looking to replace or repair it after a year, which kind of makes it more expensive than the electricity you have been trying to dodge. Just like you have already been advised, you are going to need bigger or more panels and bigger storage if you are to run that node constantly throughout. This also ensures the storage batteries don't completely drain out, as it takes time to recharge back to full potential.
1005  Economy / Reputation / Re: Tagging Accounts Sellers And Tagging Traded/Sold/Bought Accounts on: June 28, 2023, 11:23:41 PM
Are you suggesting you go back in time to tag accounts that were traded way before you even existed in this forum now that you are a DT member? If so, then go ahead, that's your choice.

But from my opinion, I won't go back to tag old accounts because of old account trades from way back in 2013 or 2016. How sure are you about the situation back then compared to the situation right now?
Were DT members back then incompetent to an extent that they ignored tagging account sales?

Just a mere look at the forum rules suggests that there was a soft stance on account sales back then, as people even used accounts as collateral for loans. This is not possible today.

This is similar to you suggesting that all DT members stop being "selective" and start tagging all accounts involved in merit abuse, spamming just because some accounts got red tagged back then for such acts, and now it's not a thing as it looks stupid leaving red trust on someone's account because they sent 5 merits to their alt account.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance to delist these 12 privacy coins in these eu countries from June 26 on: June 27, 2023, 11:56:26 PM
An update about this[1]. It looks like Binance is reversing its decision to delist privacy coins. It's unclear from the article whether all the projects are going to remain, or only a few of them but a few projects already stated that they're not getting delisted.

[1] https://cointelegraph.com/news/binance-relists-privacy-coins-in-europe
Unless if I did get this wrongly but I don't see the point why they had decided to ban the privacy coins in the EU if they were already pulling out their service in a number of EU members. It wasn't making any sense at all.

If they were no longer operating in the jurisdiction, then there was totally no purpose of the ban.
1007  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 2 in 1 question about mining and operate a crypto wallet. on: June 27, 2023, 11:16:23 PM
If you were using a public hotspot, of course, you might be better off using a VPN, or even Tor. But on your personal router, I don't see the need.
I think with public Wi-Fi hotspots, it's totally dangerous to use them, especially when operating a crypto wallet even with the use of the VPN. Just yesterday, I saw a video of a hacker explaining how he can hijack a victim's device by creating fake public Wi-Fi hotspots which the victim then connects to unknowingly thinking that's a public hotspot only for the device to land onto the hacker's radar.
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto mining cloud on: June 27, 2023, 10:51:05 PM
Almost all crypto cloud mining programs are scams. Not sure why you are looking for similar scripts. Are you planning to set up your own cloud mining platform so that you can lie to and scam users of their money with an empty promise of growth in yearly returns or passive income?

If you are, then I discourage you from doing so, as it's unethical and not accepted in the community.
1009  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Tornado cash still up and usable? on: June 27, 2023, 10:40:49 PM
Tornado Cash 2.0: The race to build safe and legal coin mixers

New coin mixers aim to preserve privacy while revealing just enough data to stay on the right side of the law.

Read in full https://cointelegraph.com/magazine/tornado-cash-2-0-the-race-to-build-safe-and-legal-coin-mixers/
One of the most amusing U-turns I have witnessed to date.  Grin
I see where this trend is headed, First wasabi wallet and now tornado.cash?
What will we see next? A mixer that KYC's its users just to be sure they are not “laundering” money?

That's the death of the IMO. I would rather use a privacy leaning coin.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on with Bitcoin Cash BCH? on: June 27, 2023, 10:00:56 PM
What makes you think that BCH is dead, it has been holding above $100 since 2022 and now in a pump that hits $200. Even I'm sad about selling my bch portfolio a while ago. I enjoyed holding BCH for sometimes, made profits through bch. I understand that lots of bitcoin users don't like BCH, but it's just obvious that so far bitcoin price goes up bch will follow the trend. The way it's moving BCH can hit $300 before it dumps again back to $150 thereabout.

1- Average 10k tx per day compared to 400k from bitcoin, 1 000k from ETH.
2- daily trading volume on binance before pump and dump event was like 3 mln $. Thats a dead shitcoin area.
3- zero adoption - literally no one is using it. ATMs do not offer BCH, online payment services with crypto do not offer BCH (they even have doge but not bch)
4- no progress, no new utilities
5- no media attention before this pump and dump event. Even Roger Ver, the biggest BCH shiller has already given up on BCH, the last of his statements I saw was about ETH
Let me add this

6. BCH is not where near it's all-time of $2940 high back in 2017. While most coins like Bitcoin and ETH are above their all times of 2017 ($20K) and 2018 ($1,200) respectively, Bitcoin cash instead continued to plumate to $231 where it is today

It should be somewhere $4k at the least if it followed the bull cycles. If this is not a dead coin to you, Accardo, then I don't know what is.
1011  Other / Meta / Re: Is it allowed to post in English in a Local Section on: June 27, 2023, 09:33:38 PM
It solely depends on the nature of the language in the local board.

You can't post English in a local board like Chinese, Arabic, Greek or Hebrew. It all looks weird lol. But i have seen some languages like Nigerian language, most words are actually in English, so I think it's OK to post there in English. The same applies to the Indian or Pilipinas board.
1012  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using Crypto Trading Bot on: June 27, 2023, 09:25:22 PM
It looks like you might be the latest victim of an ongoing scam, that is, if you are not the same user that posted about it in the scam accusation  - Am I Being Scammed By A Prominent YouTuber?

No way you are going to get 5% a week, even if it's a legitimate bot. Trading isn't all about making profits/wins only. At times due to the random movements of the market you will have to make loses even if you are using a good bot
Whoever tells you to deposit money to them, and they will do the trading for you at an unrealistic percentage per day or week is lying because the offer is too good to be true. I will be damned if you receive any money.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining altcoins on video cards be relevant in the next bull cycle? on: June 27, 2023, 09:00:24 PM
Next year’s new currency will not need to be mined. It is very likely that it will explode or even die in the next bull market.
How do you know?  Grin

Time will tell. What is funny is not, so many people will realize the about the next most profitable coin mined by GPU until it's too later, or we are already underway in a bull market. The trick is to try and mine coins with potential right now when they seem less profitable and the graphics cards are still very cheap. I am very sure there will a new profitable coin in the next cycle.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help on general mining ? on: June 27, 2023, 08:45:51 PM
In that case, forget about mining with your current hardware.

Your only chance is to leave your CPU running, mining solo and hoping to get lucky enough to find a block. However, there's very little chance of this happening with low-end hardware. It would be a waste of electricity, and you'd be better off buying coins directly with that money. Because, for example, even if you solo mine XMR on your own, even if by some miracle you have a block, you'd only earn around 0.8 XMR, and that could take several years.
In fact, if I was him, I would just sell off that PC to fetch whatever dollars it can and then buy an altcoin that I believe could grow in price in the next bull Market. It's so easy to do this in a bear market knowing that in 1–2 years when the bull market is back, the coins or tokens can easily go x5 ROI and above. Now there is no way he will get even a half of x5 ROI in the 1–2 years using his current hardware to mine
1015  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Makers and Takers fees on: June 27, 2023, 08:37:45 PM
In this case, I would check the crypto that cost a higher fees in the trading history and I will try to avoid trading with them in the future.
How do you check crypto with the highest trading fees?
I suppose the trading fees are uniform though out the exchange and are charged percentage wise and not depending on a crypto trading pair. If they charge 0.02% for market markers then that is it for all trading pairs
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: Ruto Calls for a new financial architecture on: June 26, 2023, 10:27:03 PM
My question therefore is, with the call of Ruto, do you think IMF and World Bank as the global financial institutions have not performed very well in Africa economy to support in different ways or why do you think he is making that call ?
Isn't it obvious?

Look at almost all the African Countries, how many can self-sustain in the current Financial system despite being probably the richest continent in Minerals and other natural resources? The answer is almost none.

All they have are unending debts that they must pay by milking the hell out of the already improvised citizens through unfriendly taxes and selling off parts of the countries through shady deals with the so-called allies.

This very thing is happening to Most of the South America countries and parts of Asia. Until they wake up, nothing is going to change.
1017  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: btc to mxn mexican peso on: June 26, 2023, 09:56:05 PM
There are quite a number of alternatives

Try checking out a few that I have tried before
1. https://agoradesk.com
2. https://hodlhodl.com

Those p2p exchanges won't bother you with KYC verification on signing up.
1018  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Invest in Innovation: Earn Big with our Trailblazing Cryptocurrency on: June 26, 2023, 09:41:43 PM
By investing in our project, you will enjoy multiple benefits. Firstly, you will earn a 15% commission on each sale of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) linked to our cryptocurrency. These NFTs represent valuable assets within our ecosystem and are highly sought after by collectors and cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
If the NFTs are valuable assets and highly sought after by collectors then why don't you just put them up in NFT marketplaces and sell them off to raise funds?
I believe you could raise the 20 ETH within a day, right?

Are investors all cautious? Huh
Because very few can fall for such stories and fantasies here. Members know where to put their hard-earned money.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on with Bitcoin Cash BCH? on: June 26, 2023, 09:22:37 PM
Mate BCH even barely pumped in the recent times, so I don't know what all the excitement is about

This chart should be able to give a clear picture about how BCH has been performing over time vs BTC

Also, let's not forget that declining assets with less interest from people like BCH are so easy to manipulate.
1020  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Am I Being Scammed By A Prominent YouTuber? on: June 26, 2023, 08:16:49 PM
In any case, he has a Patreon, which I joined. He also offers one on one mentoring.
He suggested I open an account at Webulltradingbot.com because that's where he does her trading. So I did. I deposited $10,000.00
Let's start from the beginning, can you show us where he suggested that you open an account at Webulltradingbot.com?

Also, who deposits $10,000 to a site they barely know about?

It looks like you have a lot of a learning to do. The crypto spaces are very slippery with so many scammers all over the place. Having 300K subscribers is nothing and should not be used a measure to prove someone's trustworthiness
