1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin obsession! on: August 14, 2023, 06:14:54 AM
I do think that the majority of us are obsessed with Bitcoin. Who's not obsessed with investments and money? It can be a hobby that one can describe per se. But whatever you think about obsession, this is the kind of obsession that everybody is going to agree with. Because we keep on looking at the charts, at the market and the price of bitcoin from time to time. I don't know who's not doing that but maybe someone who's been far from the market and don't think of it anymore.

But if someone is obsessed with Bitcoin because they just want to get quick profits. Then it is not good.
There is also this classification which is for sure not going to end up with a good result because someone who's thinking of quick profits, that's not really going to give you the benefit that you'll enjoy in the long run. But if you're a trader and you're for the quick profits, then that's manageable.
1042  Other / Off-topic / Re: The health benefits of Alcohol, Beers, Whisky and Red wines. on: August 14, 2023, 01:15:00 AM
It all plays but having too much of everything can harm our health. Yes, there are health benefits of alcohol and wines but if you're drinking too much you know what it will build up.

Moderation is the way to live our lives, not only alcohol that can cause damage to the body but eating unhealthy can also endanger us. However, the kidney is easily affected with alcohol because of the function it does in the body, like removing of excess fluid and alcohol itself is generating unwanted substance that overburden the kidney.
Yeah right. Everything that's too much is gonna cause us our health and you're right that it's not just the drinks, the alcohol, and the beverages but also what we intake in our body. I do understand we do love food, good food, and eating and that's a basic necessity for most of us. But when the trouble comes and we go ahead to the doctor when we feel something bad inside us, the culprit is the food that we take or the drink that we drink.

It is better to eat and drink in moderation.
Also, drink enough water and not fluids that are colored.
1043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading assistant platforms like 3commas or cryptohopper ,... on: August 13, 2023, 11:56:29 PM
Hi everybody, hope you doing well. it's a while that i have known crypto trading assistant platforms like 3commas, cryptohopper,... please share with me your trading experience with them and let me know if you have any other crypto trading assistant
thanks
I am sure you're aware that most people here don't have any experience with those bots you've mentioned. And it is likely that you're just here to give them some free advertisement and you're able to get engagement with it. But, that won't give my curiosity a bite for what you've said. Even if there are other bots that are existing, those that will just be the same experience as what you're trying to find and prolong this talk.
Anyway, if you want to make a good discussion about such then you should have explained a bit with what you've mentioned and give us an idea on how it is whether you're connected to them or not or basically just a happy user that made you remember it.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: August 13, 2023, 11:39:59 PM
No doubt that Twitter is the best channel to find these new meme coins. Those verified accounts that you have no idea who they are are shilling those new meme coins that they think will pump soon. But the background story of that is that it's likely that they're paid to shill those meme coins.
So, if ever you think that it's because of their analysis that makes a meme coin convincing to you. Don't forget that possibility because that's really what the actuality is.
And from there, it's no longer a new thing for the meme coin hunters like you and you're very much aware with that.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 13, 2023, 11:08:00 PM
The MPBL is gradually posing a threat to the PBA, prompting plans for a major league adjustment. When the MPBL was designated as a professional league, it served as a significant warning sign. If the PBA doesn't revise its system soon, the MPBL might eventually surpass it, becoming the most popular basketball league in the Philippines.

Link: https://cebudailynews.inquirer.net/416251/mpbl-is-now-a-pro-league

It appears that the PBA needs to heed the voice of the fans and address internal politics, which seems to be at the core of the issues.
I just hope that the dominance of PBA will soon be gone and newer and better leagues will also adhere and replace it. The politics on PBA is at its finest and even the national team is affected with that. I think it should be from the roots coming from SBP and PSC so that those dominance of teams, doing farm on other teams will also be stopped. There are better formats which is shown by the MPBL that represents places to places and this gives the NBA vibes. Unlike in PBA, it's more really in the business franchise and if it is not for having the record of the oldest basketball league in Asia, it wouldn't be there anymore. Look at the other foreign leagues, they're upgrading and not sticking to the old method and policies to their leagues. So without a doubt that MPBL is a huge threat to them and people are already hearing the league's name and its popularity is widely increasing.
1046  Economy / Economics / Re: All millions are from real estate. on: August 13, 2023, 10:43:02 PM
There is no doubt that the money really is also in the real estate market. As much as I want to have many of it, the reality is that you need huge money on it to start unless you find a good financing where you'll not going to be hit by a huge interest rate thus, that requires a huge money to start. It is true that billionaires and most rich people are into real estate, we can copy their strategies and think like them but without doing actions, we're mostly just wasting our time on it. Land assets are appreciating yearly and that's why if you don't get one today, next year the price of it will increase but it varies from locations. Regardless of that, the sellers are also crazy these days when they're like putting higher prices than the market price.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 13, 2023, 10:17:54 PM
That is always the case with free or demo versions, the system will allow you to win and that is going to show you high numbers so that you will regret and have that what ifs. And then when you're able to gamble and play and after you deposit, you'll regret again why?
It is because that you're incurring losses and you'll make another what if comparison that what if you just didn't played at all and that money of yours wasn't deposited so, it's better and safe than when you have gambled that on slots.
1048  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 13, 2023, 04:05:11 PM
In the current era, even a career woman's growth can be said to increase more quickly than the career growth of a young man. Not all regions are the same, but in the country where I work, I see that career women are increasingly controlling various industries.
There are specific industries and niches where that's true but this isn't applicable to all of them. But understanding this, this is true that there are industries and specific ones where the growth of the career women are quicker than of men.

Even in my current country, if we go to any industrial factory, we are not surprised to see that the majority of factory employees today are women. Men are more likely to be placed in the heaviest sectors. and yeah that's fair. it's just that the comparison between female employees and male employees in the country where I work is currently getting bigger. And of course the number of female employees is the most.
That only means that these companies are preferring more women because probably of their prowess and the way they handle their products and manufacture. The same goes with those companies that do need more women because that's how they get more sales.

Even if a factory here opens job vacancies for 1,000 people, almost 700 people or even more are accepted by women. So that many men are currently unemployed as a result of all this.
I think that depends on the product of the factory. If the products that they are manufacturing needed to be handled by soft hands then they really need women on it.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 12, 2023, 06:19:29 AM
This isn't true. All the casinos have a license. Some just use the license to steal money from us.
While what you've said is true but there are actual casinos that don't have the license to operate and yet they still operate. They're only going to work on it when some folks noticed that and demands them to have.

No one of the forums has ever been caught money laundering so people should stop using the AML excuse.
Well, there have been in the past that some gamblers do complained that they've been locked with their balances. Not knowingly, when the casino that they're complaining about responded, some tend to actually do it. But these days, I doubt it that most casinos will give full disclosure of reasons like that.
1050  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 12, 2023, 04:39:29 AM
In my country there was once a female president who led for five years even though after that there was no more. This means that women at this time are actually increasingly equal to men in various ways, especially in terms of business which is currently very widespread in all walks of life. And it can also be said that for now women prefer to do business in a simpler way so that their income level can be almost on par with established men in almost the same field.
There's equality these days and no more masculine impression that can't be described to women. A married woman that has been dependent will do everything for her family even if she has a working husband. They're having more grit in life and are able to manage businesses as long as they can. This pandemic has made a lot of women entrepreneurs because they have to work and provide for their families as well. The grit of a man can also be done by a woman and there's no discrimination on that in developed countries. But it's just sad that there are still traditions and countries that have divided the equality that should belong to the women in their areas.
1051  Economy / Economics / Re: Would You Consider Adding Bitcoin to Your Retirement Savings on: August 12, 2023, 02:35:07 AM
BTC is my retirement savings. It is the best performing asset of the last 10 years. It would he negligent not to allocate some of your money to bitcoin. I don’t see BTC slowing down in adoption so please, protect yours & your families wealth by investing a % of your wealth in BTC.
I see the keyword, family. We don't have much wealth but this is Bitcoin that is what I own and sure someday that this is going to be the description of it.
It's true that Bitcoin has been the performing asset in the entire history and people still neglect its performance and how it's coping up with trends and the potential of it in the future.
While we're talking about investments, our future with Bitcoin. Those people that are still skeptic about it are going to miss the lifetime opportunity that's already known to them because they're neglecting and ignoring it.
1052  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Mining using Green Energy on: August 12, 2023, 02:09:20 AM
Goodluck at Happy mining.
Welcome back kabayan.
1054  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need help with Bittrex KYC on: August 11, 2023, 08:26:30 PM
Do you want someone to proceed with the KYC and use their identity so that you can withdraw? I doubt it that there's someone who's going to do that for you. Or if there's someone then that's possible that your terms won't be followed and that person will just have to withdraw everything and walk away with your remaining balance there. Could you tell us on what really does bother you on this one aside that the support isn't replying to you? If you have failed to pass on verification, the system has already your information and a change of names and details might even make it harder for you to withdraw that fund of yours as you're asking to use someone's identity for you to withdraw the money that you have there.
1055  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: August 11, 2023, 07:55:42 PM
In as much as they are being persuaded and convinced to invest,it is meant to be understood that  criticism cannot win them over to do the needful.

The approach to investment on the poor has to be understood as everyone out there falls into different circumstances...it isn't very easy for them to meet up to high standards.
So it is necessary for everyone to deal with issues amicably for a better society.
I want to encourage them to invest but it's not that easy to do. Words can encourage them but situation divides their decisions and the reality is settling them that they've got other important needs to spend their money on and despite the desire to invest, they just can't.
Putting oneself into the shoe of the real poor, you'll get to understand that they've got bare enough to survive. We can set aside about our will to encourage them into investing because they have to prioritize first the food that they can bring to their table. Someone who's living well can easily say that the poor needs investments to become wealthy but it's not really what it is. The real situation will make you understand that circumstances are there and even if you push them hard to, that's not going to change their situation real quick.
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin F*cking ETF on: August 11, 2023, 07:28:31 PM
All applications for BTC ETFs were rejected. do you think they are waiting for a moment on the chart to approve it?then we'll fly into space?
Only time knows. Whether they're rejected or not, the market will still soar high. That's the common thing that we have but with these ETFs if they're approved, they're surely going to push the market into a crazier price. But then, it's a driving force that will contribute to the price of bitcoin to get it back to the bull run. Otherwise, they've helped the market to get at least a bit head of it but then if all of them were rejected, there's no need to be dependent on it. We've got halving which is the major force that will make the market push to the bull run and that's not dependent to these ETF approvals being done by the SEC. For now, we don't know if there will be more rejections or some more approvals and IIRC there have been approved in the past but it wasn't just covered by the media at all.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs that indicate you are not addicted to gambling on: August 11, 2023, 06:56:46 PM
I stopped chasing losses long time ago because I have seen on how it has affected me a lot. I am still a gambler but I am no longer addicted and I've got a control to myself. That's a hard part to be managed because with what we're usually seeing is that, there are gamblers that do struggle in maintaining their posture and control when they gamble. They think that they can handle themselves but when they're on the situation, that's when things don't go accordingly to what they have planned for.
That's great for you. I'm glad to hear you've overcome your previous gambling addiction problem. You have to defend it from gambling addiction again, and by looking at what you have experienced, I think you can still avoid gambling addiction. Indeed it is a difficult part to manage, but as long as we want to change it and deal with what went wrong, we can do it. What's important is that now we can better control ourselves when playing gambling and won't be easily carried away by emotions and won't be tempted by any offers. So now we just play gambling for fun Grin
Definitely, sure it did help me a lot. You just have to realize what you're chasing and if it's worth chasing. Because once you realized that it's going to be worth it then you have to think again and it's okay to gamble but don't make yourself addicted. We're all to have fun and do stuff, sometimes we're for the chase of losses and sometimes we want to earn some and win. It varies and sometimes random ideas come to our mind like being lucky within the day and it's gonna be the day you want to gamble but you're also defensive to yourself. And that is when you're aware that you can't handle the heat of yourself. So, with emotions playing away as you gamble, you have to rethink for so many times so that you won't be problematic once you're dealing with and you have recognized it.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Double Spend ERC-20?? on: August 11, 2023, 06:30:17 PM
@Op, this is rampant and not only happening in the Ethereum chain. Like what everyone is saying, this is a scam attempt, and don't fall for that as it's already flagged by the system. So, be watchful that you might encounter this again in some other chains where you think you got a jackpot by receiving a reward out of nowhere that's going to show you thousands that will make you excited and enticed about it. Good thing that you've asked for this because who knows if you're too curious to know about it and then you didn't ask the community first, you might have fallen for it.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Technology is Changing Sports Betting on: August 11, 2023, 05:46:13 PM
While there could be a big change for betting in sports through AI. I just want to go with the traditional one which I prefer since I'm used to it. Maybe sooner or later the changes through AI in all of its forms including gambling will also be adopted eventually. But I just can't feel it right now because I'm all for the typical setup that we're having. Maybe, just like in chatbox where there's an AI and you want to cast a bet and that's it. It will be recorded automatically and you'll be able to cast bets with simple types of words. That's how it is going to change but then, as long as there's not that much demand on it and there's more with the former, that doesn't hurt the people like me that still prefers the older system.
1060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tips that helpfull for beginners on: August 11, 2023, 05:27:34 PM
Demo account is important and practice practice practice. Don't be in a hurry.
That's even forgotten these days. Newbies are going to the actual trading without knowing that they can trade through demo accounts. Well, the exchanges should also advertise this so that the new traders can have an idea on it looks like to trade using a demo account.
That's the sole purpose of it but the majority of the newbies are going quickly with their trades because they think that they don't need it and experience is what they need to have. They have a point but it's most likely that they're going to lose money on their very first try unlike with a demo account, they can make mistakes there and learn from it unlike with actual money. Once they lose, they're actually going to lose that money they have deposited and used for it.
