1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 06, 2023, 04:21:38 PM
Pentingnya judi bagi masyarakat
For the community, gambling is not important, as you said, many people have a bad attitude towards gambling, which means that some people should avoid it. But many of them are playing it.

And I think this topic needs to be changed, not "the importance of gambling for society" it's better if the topic is replaced with "the importance of legalizing gambling" why is that, let me explain this a little.

If gambling is still illegal in a country, then no matter how many people play in it, it will not benefit the community at all, especially for the development of community infrastructure and facilities, because the money will only go to the site owner and the officials or government who back up gambling. illegal. So this is where the need for the legalization of gambling in various countries so that gambling activities can be controlled and provide benefits from the taxes generated.

There are countries made gambling illegal but allow casinos to be established. It's their citizen that is not allowed to gamble but the tourist are free to stake.

Society always draws to games. Back when people are starting to develop a city, it starts in a small place that drives people to stay in this place because it has a coal mine for them to work and make money. It also has a whorehouse with a place drink and gamble.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's safe to say - gambling is a guy thing. on: August 06, 2023, 03:27:35 PM

Boys gamble more that's a fact. Even in sports, you can always see it's always the male who performs well like he bet his reputation to win against a rival. It feels like you are worth it.
If a woman also thrives, she must have been influenced by how great the feeling is in winning something.

You know how great it feels when you achieve and did something good for the day, you feel great. Gambling can be compared to it when you predicted the dice or roulette to be in your favor, you win and feels good.
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 06, 2023, 02:32:04 PM

Nate lasted to the 10th round though. I thought he would really drop dead in the 5th round but he survived it and still walked straight to Jake always aiming for the headbutt.
I can't believe he wasn't KOed though. I guess betting for Jake by KO is not the best decision after all.

Though we expect Jake to win. Nate still got the respect he deserves for making it to the 10th round. He disappointed the bettors who aim to win big by KO.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Slot Streamers on: August 05, 2023, 05:54:40 PM
~snip~
To me it does not make much sense to follow and watch some gambling streamer to do their thing for hours and hours. It would be better just to which the stream to someone actually doing something more entertainment, like playing a videogame or cooking some stuff, anything but gambling.

It is like playing slots, addictive, but if in the screen happens to show that a jacktop was hit, the only thing one can do celebrate others people money. Nothing for you or me who are just observers.
But that may have been done by someone who wants to watch gambling games and has nothing else to do besides watching. I once saw a friend of mine just sitting in front of the computer, watching a lesson about playing poker, and when I asked how it was going, he replied that he could play poker even though he wasn't very good at it.

But it's really not good for slot games if you just watch the gambling game streaming for hours. Slot games can only be felt when we play alone, so we can know how it feels to play slots using real money. And from watching these streamers, maybe we also want to play the same slot game while saying can I also be lucky like him?

I have always seen poker in a different light, in comparison to other games like slots, it takes actual discipline and some strategy to Excell at poker, there is some strategy on it. Besides, taking online lessons is different from just sitting that see someone play.

In my opinion, Slot streams are rather more about advertisement than entertainment. It is more likely someone would feel like trying the same casino and slot game they have seen on a stream, instead of going for some random option.

At least, while watching poker one can learn, right? There is no much to learn in pure luck bases games.

Agree. Poker is fun to watch and you can learn how they manage to win with shitty cards. Slot is no way fun unless you are the ones playing.

Even just watching the faces of the Poker players while deciding whether to fold or call are already fun. Thats why poker tournameng are being televised like reality tv because of it.

1065  Economy / Reputation / Re: 10 Years on: August 05, 2023, 05:42:15 PM

Congrats! Wishing you more years to come. You must be an OG. Ever notice the older you get, the lesser you see the old users in the forum?

2 013 is the time where people are still skeptical of Bitcoin. The users in the first few years of BTC are often the guys curious what BTC can do and give away 0.05BTC for a comment.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 05, 2023, 05:16:06 PM
Crowd gathers when theres a casino house in the area/city. Only means people are socializing and casino houses is a place to meet people from higher places and meet friends. Thats one benefit besides entertainment.

Just take MGM grand as an example in Vegas where big boxing matches usually are held. The city becomes a tourist spot also.
1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another red day on: August 05, 2023, 03:39:45 PM

Prices are not plunging down like 10-20% though. Its often red every week but RSI is actually showing the lines almost in the bottom particularly in the daily chart. It could burst up the next couple of weeks I guess going up to 32k-34k.

This is the part in the bear market where our patience goi g to dry out as cryptocurrencies are goi g to be uninteresting due to the sideways movement for months.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: August 05, 2023, 03:31:38 PM
When it comes about getting updates, football being the most recognized and populous fans sport in the world, it is very easy to get updates from people around us about football than when we play other games and bet sports and games that are not common, but in football, we can easily get the best updates going and use any of the informations received to bet base on how we understand the formation of the info received since football is very common unlike other sports.

What you are saying to an extent is correct if you are surrounded by people who are into football. In my country people are crazy about cricket and the local media does keep us updated. Apart from cricket, football does intrest me but it is not easy for me to keep a track of all leagues. That is why I follow only one league and place bet on matches where I feel confident. In case of cricket I am not selective or saturated to one league. I am following multiple league as I am more updated due to my surroundings.

I am a fan of football myself but I don't really follow many leagues but only the major ones.
I think getting updates on any sport has become very easy these days since there are sites out there which do these jobs.
Especially doing live matches, there are sites which gives live updates and so I think getting updates for matches which are not live yet should be fairly easy.

With the use of internet you can easily locate the update that you wanted to know, just be very careful in sorting those trusted website as there are website that just alluring readers, chances that update are only to gather attentions and to advertise gambling site that they are link and have referrals, even you see available information never to dwel in a single site but to check other venue to make sure that you'll be able to confirm or to have better understanding before deciding to place your bets.
Getting any sport information from the internet has been made so easy with the availability of countless sports sites to grab any piece of updating regarding our very sport of interest but at same time being careful not to fall for paid advertised sites is very much to be worried about.
Away from the internet my another reliable source of update about my favorite sport is from the local radio stations in my country through their sports analysts that takes time to analyze issues regarding different sports. Football for instance they make an objective analysis of the forms of different football clubs and their challenges which helps a lot for me in deciding how to place my bets on those clubs as I am a football enthusiast.

Almost all sports today have their own forum which users like you can participate and see updates shared by the guys with same interest. Places like this forum itself is where you fit in. You don't even have to explain in details what you are saying, users have same experiences.

And theres youtuber to follow as well. Once subcribed to a channel, you get notification every single video.

1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Of Think My Predictions On This Multi Bet Ticket ? on: August 05, 2023, 03:17:45 PM

Its your bet. If you have won jeremy's multibet threads, you might be lucky to make it on the bookmakers as well. It takes a special kind of dedication when you go try doing it on different sports though.

I get it you have been following multiple sports but having completely 2 different sports seem too much for me.  UFC and boxing at least are still like combat sports but also football?
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 05, 2023, 02:58:49 PM

Fight night is always like this, I often skip betting but when there is nothing else to bet on I'm force to look at what these fighters can do and then watch highlights of their UFC career on youtube and their records. If I just have the biggest tv screen, i will still watch even Bellator event.

Main event is considerably good. Andrade vs Suarez might just be the fight of the night.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 05, 2023, 01:07:45 PM
^
You're basically just saying withdraw small amount so casino will not asks for your KYC. Thats hoping they will actually not ask but in the future even when you are just withdrawing 0.05 they may be asking for your data. You are right about it though. I don't have huge funds in my accounts so stake is not asking my KYC.

But the best solution avoid KYC is to justplay on decentralized casino. The problem however is you just don't know when they will start scaming.
1072  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are crypto currency exchanges doing to foster crypto adoption? on: August 04, 2023, 07:18:09 PM

Exchanges facilitate the market of cryptocurrencies, they already helped in increasing the price when in Bullrun they allow users to buy and sell. They also serve as the gateway for fiat to be used in buying cryptocurrencies in their market, they bring money into the market especially the users who are buying thru their debit/credit cards.

But if you are talking about the adoption at the merchant level, we are far from it I think. In my city alone I can only count a few stores accepting BTC.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2023, 07:07:56 PM
Weird question. Gambling is an ancient reliable and simple business, just like baking bread. Even if there is a total adoption, gambling will still be more popular than bitcoin, and I'm talking not only about investing in bitcoin (there are always much fewer investors than ordinary users), but about all areas of application in general.

that's simple fact that we all know about. so there's no discussion here. gambling will always prevail no matter what currency we have, fiat, crypto or other type of currency. gambling has been with the humankind ever since. currency may evolve into different types, but gambling will always be gambling. so there's no surprise to why gambling is more popular than bitcoin. btc is just one currency that they can use for this type of entertainment.

That is why such questions are not just incorrect, but one might say manipulative. It will always be possible to say "despite the efforts of the community, even after 20 (30, 40, etc.) years, bitcoin is still much less popular than eating meat"  Grin
If you talk about gambling and bitcoin, then you can talk about the share of bitcoin in gambling (this share always remains very large despite the fact that altcoins have many advantages in some senses).

One reason why he may have said Gambling is gaining vs Bitcoin is that BTC users are getting into casinos after investing. Some of them who had been holding coins for a long time and misses to dump their BTC during the bull run are turning to casinos hoping to profit in gambling instead of trading.

There were articles in the past that BTC was created for gambling which will not last and the hype of BTC will be gone soon. But this conclusion is said by those guys who had not learned the blockchain tech yet.
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miami Mayor Francis Suarez to accept presidential donations in bitcoin on: August 04, 2023, 06:56:50 PM

Though Mayor Francis is a Bitcoiner, he has no chance of winning as president. RFK Jr who is more popular than him had proposed bigger stuff like backing the USD with BTC.

It's not such a bad idea to try gaining votes from the crypto community but it may just work locally for him, not nationwide. Politics is still the same as a popularity contest that's why Biden and Trump are still the closest in the polls. The rest are just wallflowers trying to get noticed.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 04, 2023, 06:00:54 PM
The only matches that I'm slightly confident are:
Tatiana Suarez
Kennedy Nzechukwu
Diego Lopes

But changes can happen after weigh-in. Decisions might change after examining them in the pre-conference some of them may not be as confident as they seem. Especially the fighters who reduced their weight. I think Thompson was right about his decision to shy his fight against Michel Pereira because of the 4lbs difference.
1076  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Buy-Sell BFG on BetFury | 🔥Fury Pharaoh - New In-house Slot on: August 04, 2023, 05:45:59 PM
We don't know which CEX will be the priority, it depends on the BetFury teams. Kucoin, Huobi, Bithumb, OKX, or Gate are likely good options to list BFG tokens. It should be listed on these exchanges firstly before thinking to list it on Binance. I think it isn't impossible to list on Binance, but it should have a good trading volume daily first.

It's worth noting that daily BFG trading volumes were $2-3 million in March/April 2022. It looks like it was the largest volume ever for the BFG token, and I believe it was the best time to get listed on popular exchanges. Unfortunately, the Betfury team missed this opportunity, and now such trading volumes are extremely unlikely for the BFG token.
Anyway, if you take into account that exchanges like Kucoin and Okx quite often add all sorts of shitcoins, BFG could have a chance too.

So far the only gaming token that is listed on mainstream exchanges is the Fun Token. None of the casino tokens were actually listed on bigger exchanges. If BFG will be listed, a lot of them will also be listed. Unfortunately, those casino tokens that were known in the forum already died without seeing the light.

I have the feeling BFG will only be on the DEXES like we see today. The platform is on the brink of success but getting listed will be the hardest which will also hinder this success. And as long as its not going to get more exposure to bigger market, this will remain as is.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: August 04, 2023, 05:26:12 PM

They can only hope Trump will be jailed since obviously the evidence will not lie. The Shaman-horned guy was seen in the video being escorted by riot police as he walks around the corridors of the Capitol. According to the footage, the police clearly makes effort to stop him.

They've been trying that Jan6 capitol siege to indict Trump over and over when it was already debunked. It's not working on Trump and its only making him rank up on polls.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 03, 2023, 09:28:55 PM
^  205 is in shambles.  I think the UFC was hoping for Pereira to have a great showing in his first match at 205 but it was really a lack luster performance.  Would people really pay to watch him vs Jiri Prochazka?  It's the same situation as Ankalaev.  But between Pereira and Ankalaev, I'd rather see Ankalaev vs Prochazka.  The UFC could prolly make it a co main event of Jones vs Miocic or something.

A think that Ankalaev wrestling skills are much better than Blachowicz and it would be easier for Magomed to submit Pereira. We really dont know how good Pereiras wrestling skills are (because he hasnt faced a good opponent yet), but something tells me that a any man with a name Magomev that is into martial arts can get him to the ground and choke. Maybe this is a created vision that Pereira is only a kickboxer that bother me to objectively evaluate Pereira, but I cant seem him wrestling.

Anklakaev vs Prochazka is what I would watch. I think Ankalaev deserves a title fight (not for a vacant belt). That fight against Blachowicz was strange, many thought that Ankalaev won. Ankalaev got offended on judges after that fight btw. He even though to retire after that draw, but that was a more like an emotional announcement.

Fans were already used to seeing Pereira sending his opponents down the floor. It so happens Blachowicz is also big and fights him by wrestling not in a standing fight. Maybe the reason why they made Alex won. People think it is robbery but the UFC sees it as an opportunity to make another match. Both Pereira and Anklakaev I think will not win against Prochazka.

They are really making it hard for Pereira to climb if they match him againsts Anklakaev. He may have won Jan's Wrestling but Dagentan wresting is a bit superior.

1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: August 03, 2023, 09:10:33 PM
Gambling is mainly only a source of steady income for the owners of a casino, it is a delusional thought if gamblers thinks they could rely on gambling to generate a steady income unless that gambler is a professional poker player as poker is a game which rely more on strategy instead of luck since it a game played between multiple players themselves instead of the casino.
Yes, that's how we know that it's hard to beat games on casino machines, because whatever it is, the dealer will still be the winner, after all, it's different from poker, it's a kind of PVP game between players against players, it's different when players play with gambling machines because it will be very difficult to win gambling there, I like poker games and gambling with other players.

I think it's easier to beat someone to play at the poker table than against slot machines or poker machines, to be honest maybe by playing poker I can earn income compared to playing casino machines, for example playing in freerolls I often win games and make withdrawals, that's what really matters easy for me to do. do not make casino and gambling a regular income because that will be impossible except playing poker.  Wink

It's a combined skill and luck to be a good poker player. If your cards are really not meant to make it, you won't start bluffing especially when you're not good at hiding what really is your card is. Some poker players can already sense and smell fear on the table.

Poker players in tournaments have deep pockets which a newbie will be tempted to gran whatever is up for grabs from the players. There are lucky days and they are not, therefore one will still find out its not a steady income.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legality of Online Gambling in Different Countries on: August 03, 2023, 08:57:30 PM
It's vital to be well-informed about the gambling laws in each state, as they can vary significantly. The mentioned states do permit online gambling, but it's crucial to be aware that tax regulations differ among them. Regarding offshore online gambling, nations such as Belize, Curacao, Panama, Antigua & Barbuda, and Costa Rica have been allowing it for over a decade and are known for licensing reputable sportsbooks and online casinos.
I must emphasize that it's essential to thoroughly research and ensure compliance with the specific regulations and licensing requirements of each jurisdiction. Engaging with licensed and reputable gambling operators can enhance your safety and protection as a player.

I only see Curacao and Panama licenses on crypto casinos though. The other 3 are probably for fiat casinos. Most of these countries are known for offshore companies or those that don't exist physically. But I follow one with a Curacao license that still has not turned scam, different validation but the company is still in Curacao.

I guess these casinos will be waiting for the right time before they jump right to not allowing users to withdraw their funds. Scamming takes a lot of dedication and building reputation is just one skill they need to learn.
