1061  Other / Off-topic / Re: YouTube deleting comments, any idea why? on: October 28, 2021, 02:59:20 PM
I actually noticed similar issue concerning Bitcointalk years before now, but I just wasn't sure.

Some weeks ago, I learned that the forum is seen like some sort of a "secret project" filled with unique people with weird/strong ideas that ought not to be public. I think this is probably from people at the top.
I got that when I'm not sure I was thinking about the forum. Haven't confirm this yet though.

I dont think we need the video sharing site to survive, they likely will realize they need the forum so much if they haven't done so already

1062  Economy / Economics / Re: $1 Billion Science Fund to Use Blockchain Projects to Extend Human Lifespan on: October 28, 2021, 10:41:02 AM
I wonder exactly how they plan to easily obtain patients consent probably to have them release their private/sensitive medical data, assuming everyone controls his/her data on the Decentralized Network with medical rules and process guiding how data is released by individual.
In regards to the life extension research, I wonder who would like to extend their life and witness the horror of future world on earth.
Besides, we can't go beyond the predetermined age of our life on earth. People really need to be careful what they put in their body else they create something that makes their bodies worse than what they hope to make better.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand BTC pricing on: October 28, 2021, 10:07:29 AM
I think what is important is how much Bitcoin is bought for serious use. Serious uses include investment that benefits the bitcoin economy, using Bitcoin within the economy, holding long-term, etc.
Doesn't include buying to gamble (which means taking big risk) to make quick gains and exchange for fiat

I think if Bitcoin Network continues to develop and build a thriving self-sustaining economy without compromising on its principles, there will be continuous demand that keeps pushing price higher. It's important to create the right kind of economy that encourage demand with the kind of security that give people the confidence to use Bitcoin as a store of value
1064  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation & Supply Chain Issues-How bad is it going to get?! on: October 28, 2021, 09:31:57 AM
It is bad for every country right now. That, I can assure you. And yes, I am also afraid of this growing and quite difficult to solve problems with inflation that the world is facing right now. This is the reason why I along with the growing number of people are turning into this industry to somehow protect ourselves from the impending catastrophe that's about to happen because this is not something that can be questioned if, but when. One way or another the people who fail to see the potential of this industry will suffer badly for their stubborness. I just hope by then it still won't be too late for them because everyone has different capabilities in terms of finances and other stuff.

It may be for those whose basic needs are imported. If your country produces most of its basic needs locally and you focus more on basic needs that are produced locally, source your products/services from people who produce in abundance, and people who don't look for too much profit (likely the poor)  you won't be too affected by crisis.

I think it's also important to know how to buy good things at affordable rate. Lots of people don't know how, and they accept whatever price they hear/see without inquiring whether or not it's justified price.
1065  Other / Off-topic / Re: WHY BREAKFAST IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY ? on: October 28, 2021, 09:01:44 AM
Breakfast is absolutely the most important meal of the day.
After the body rests for the night you need to replenish nutrients and get your blood sugar levels at their optimal levels.
If I don't prioritize breakfast I often show up to work more stressed out and even if I eat later the rest of the day I am not nearly as effective and typically more irritable.

I actually prefer not to tell anyone to feed this way or that way because what works for me may not work for another. I would simply tell certain people how I feed and they can try it or what works for them as long as they are not doing so in excess or the wrong way with good or bad foods.

In regards to not skipping breakfast, It depends on the kind of food I consume. Light healthy meals in moderation works for me. Skipping breakfast to fast should also be done if you can. You can start little by little by skipping and observing how your body responds to it, if you don't feel well during this period (fasting) you can look for healthy light meal to eat... If it works well for you, you can continue the fast.
I feel quite OK without eating anything at all in the morning.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin anonymous? on: October 27, 2021, 04:30:52 PM
Bitcoin is not completely anonymous. Moreover, as cryptocurrency enters the business industry. It became more publicized. Even today, cryptocurrency addresses also have their own labels so that they are easy to recognize. Usually this address, loading from a large exchange, such as huobi, bitfinex, binance.

Ofcourse, it's not completely anonymity-friendly but it's important that users can be anonymous atall. I think Bitcoin anonymity is reasonable ok... It would be easy to pinpoint where a leak comes from when you are exposed because it's clear who will have the resource to de-anonimize you. Anonymity is basically part of the design for the purpose of users security in a trustless/permissionless network. We can choose to improve on the anonymity feature in a way that benefits both the user and the community in terms of security
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation & Supply Chain Issues-How bad is it going to get?! on: October 27, 2021, 03:54:55 PM
I'd also like to note, despite not seeing any shortages or supply issues on most daily goods, I've faced multiple shortage issues when it comes to bicycle parts. I'm not sure what's exactly the case, my best guess would be the current supply can't keep up with the increased demand. However, this situation has been going on since the pandemic started.

Hasn't the increased demand pushed to a larger production, or is there a wider supply chain issue causing it?

Consider the possibility that AI is making many mistakes, nature is becoming too unstable, things are moving out of course and are not easily predictable.
I don't think sticking to the "program" will solve this. You need competent humans to take charge
1068  Economy / Economics / Re: Time to foot the bill on: October 27, 2021, 03:09:58 PM
Well, if you're getting paid with a deflationary currency like Bitcoin, you won't be too worried about salary increase, because whenever the currency price goes up, you salary is worth more.
Salary increase could also cause inflation unless those who are getting the increase are prudent enough and not too many in numbers
1069  Other / Off-topic / Re: No such thing as death on: October 27, 2021, 02:51:45 PM
^^ "you cannot die" only applies to those who have been saved from the Matrix by a SAVIOUR.
If you could see those who are currently under the bondage, what you'll see are walking corpses(billion of people), more like zombies controlled by parasites. The parasites are evil spirits.

Those who have been saved actually lives forever. They will eventually live the physical bodies behind and go to a Better Place.

Our mission here is to save some from the Matrix. If you still doubt me after all this signs, you are probably very hardened or have forgotten again.

The truth about GOD is not like what you think, it's way much better.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TV Commercials & How they attracting more clients in crypto industry. on: October 27, 2021, 10:37:01 AM
Well, as long as the viewers are attracted to the right platforms so they don't have much issues in the future. I actually prefer to see ads run by crypto companies that encourage things like self-custody, privacy, transparency, censorship resistant, decentralization, immutablity, trustlessness etc.
We need more people using crypto the right way. They should be the majority in Crypto space
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Important is Interoperability for the Future of this Space? on: October 27, 2021, 10:16:07 AM
For security reasons, I actually prefer only well decentralized networks that stick to the core values of true Blockchain to be Interoperable otherwise you could have a situation where centralized networks are used to weaken the decentralized ones.  For example, a rogue network could be used to raise the supply limit of Bitcoin and makes Bitcoin inflationary.
You could also have the centralized networks sucking up users from well decentralized ones because they are more convenient and have more functionalities. I think they should be subjected to thesame/similar standards, and the competition that comes from this will be fair
1072  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurs, money and investing - your culture on: October 27, 2021, 09:52:58 AM
Each area may indeed have its own characteristics.
different from in my area, where money, position, and work are still very much considered as one of the foundations for a person to be successful or not.
even someone who is successful in my area is mostly for people who are elected to civil servants with salaries (which are actually mediocre) but will have a fixed pension fund.
Even an entrepreneur who is just starting his business will be underestimated.
especially if the privately-owned business is a business that is still common in their eyes. Even though the activities involved in the crypto world are like this, even though the results are quite large and exceed the salaries of civil servants, they are still underestimated.
And when setting up a business, what other people will see is how big the business is, how many employees, how nice and spacious the office is, and how much money it makes.
Yes, it's sad, but we live in a society where we can't force their minds.
Just focus on what we do.

In the society I live in, I know of an ethnic group that mostly rely on their businesses and themselves. If the central or local  governments vanish away, they will still be able to survive without issues. They are very hardworking and don't rely much on governments. It's hard to compete with them especially in their own turf. One of the ways they are outcompeted is when they are deliberately suppressed/frustrated by the political class.   They typically start small and grow their businesses, then use a traditional model to transfer knowledge/skills to others. The successful ones earn way better than the typical civil servants even though they aren't as educated, and there are lots of them who are successful in their businesses.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: Would crypto gain full intrinsic value? on: October 27, 2021, 09:22:47 AM
Centralized currencies actually fluctuate and lose value over time. One of the best ways to observe this is to pair it with Bitcoin(or some goods/services) long-term, before you know it your fiat money has lost value but the reverse is the case when you hold Bitcoin and pair with fiat.

The high volatility is occasional with Bitcoin. You probably won't notice that if you hold long term and don't pair with fiat currencies.
If Bitcoin has its own thriving and independent economy, we will have the right opportunity to trade goods and services with each other in decentralized peer-to-peer manner.  I have looked at centralized trading and concluded that it's not a good idea. It's not going to be sustainable and will likely make Bitcoin price erratic or usable due to censorship, centralization etc. We need a more sustainable way to trade safely with less likelihood of lawlessly getting stopped, censored or ban . Not a good idea to compete with the system at all unless you are ready to be subjected to it and that could also mean centralization of a cryptocurrency.

Wonder what you mean by instrinsic value, if you think fiat has it, I can gurantee you that Bitcoin has it too even better. We could also have Bitcoin backed by more physical assets too, if that's what you want

1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the government expect from bitcoin legality? on: October 26, 2021, 04:22:39 PM
I think those who mean well want something that is safe and have the backing of the law. Other reasons for legalization could be secondary.
A Just society that's governed by Just law will likely legalized it or probably remain neutral until the society is sure it's safe and worth legalizing
1075  Other / Off-topic / Re: Career choice and school on: October 26, 2021, 04:02:46 PM
Ofcourse, if we have society with people that focus more on career they have strengths in and passionate about, we will likely not have a situation where because of high pay the legs will be competing with the eyes for employment that's meant for the eye, or ears competing with hands etc. They all have different roles they were created for to play, and should discover it and develop themselves for the good of the body so we don't have dysfunctional society filled with people aimlessly chasing after money rather serving their purpose they were created for.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Bitcoin Mining Council Survey Confirms Industry Powered By 57.7% Renewables on: October 26, 2021, 03:15:14 PM
Guess this's merely a survey. hope you can have a more evidence-based one or something. And I wonder how you could back it up with strong evidence without compromising on the privacy of miners. Another important thing is that it should be "Renewable Clean Energy"

If the survey is reliable then it is nice thing to know about.

I also hope that advances in mining hardware will shrink the number of hardware that is required and greatly improve on efficiency. By the way, shrinking does not mean poor decentralization, it could encourage light weight mining plus mobility which are very important to the crypto ideals
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SNL had a skit where they said the Devil invented Bitcoin on: October 26, 2021, 02:49:51 PM
I guess whoever you are talking about meant Sat-shi Nakamot- is the devil? Well, the good thing about transparent open-source project is that it gives devil little opportunity to sneak in evil codes/agenda because of the level of transparency that's required in developing open-source project. Besides, the community participation by diverse Humans makes project development more immune to satanic contributions unlike what is done in secret by select few.  It's counter intuitive assuming this is suggesting that devil created it.

I have no doubt about satanic influence in centralized and opaque currencies though
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hype is more important than Utility on: October 26, 2021, 10:19:19 AM
The Headline sounds quite misleading... though I understand why you may be putting it in that manner. Wish you handled it in a better way so it doesn't look like you are encouraging hype and people who aren't interested in clicking and reading what you have to say don't get misled.

In regards to the topic, I think Utility has to be achieved without compromising on Good Standards otherwise the Coin/Project is as bad as worthless Hyped Coin/Project.
1079  Economy / Economics / Re: BitcoinETF and the general direction of cryptocurrency on: October 26, 2021, 09:48:43 AM
I don't know much about this or what it's about, but I hope it's for good reasons that do not compromise on ideals of True Cryptocurrency. I think everyone should be guided by the good crypto ideals so they don't have regrets.
There are good boundaries that must not be crossed. Crossing the boundaries have consequences
1080  Other / Off-topic / Re: Until now my favorite cat has yet to come home on: October 22, 2021, 04:24:42 PM
So sorry for that.
If she is that important to you and still alive, just have faith that she will eventually come back. You can ask that the Will of GOD be done concerning this in prayers. Sometimes things like that could happen for good reasons which is GOD's Will but if it's not GOD's Will and you live according to HIS Will, HE will bring it back.
I believe we could easily get HIS attention in humility and sobriety even when we are lost and far away from HIM. Just talk to HIM about it always in that state of mind.
Hope she is OK. You could still get yourself another nice one if need be.
