It would be nice to know if Labcoin is selling their shares.

About to enter true freefall.
Broke through .002 like hot knife in butter.

So, could all the people who have sold off, called scam etc, just gtfo now? Please? I wake up to 20 pages of "This user is currently ignored", gifs, and some news from Labcoin. Look, it's pretty simple: it's either a scam or it's not. If it is, well, fuck me, right. If it's not, great. I haven't sold a single share since IPO, and I'm not about to. I risked the little BTC I had. All that will happen if it's a scam, is I will lose some BTC. I'd rather take a chance. Sure, they might suck at PR. But all the haters in here, need to go back to the trollbox on btce or something. I seriously don't understand why you keep hanging around here..
Its not just PR, they are making shit up and have nothing working.

****WARNING to all Labcoin Shareholders****
People there are no traces going to the chips on these circuit boards. There are no decoupling capacitors near the chips and there does not appear to be a ground plane on the board. Ask any of the DIY asic developers here on the forum and they will confirm that these things are absolutely necessary to create a working miner.
I was a big believer in Labcoin but i am completely out now. This is a disappointing end to what could have been a promising venture.
I welcome a realistic explanation from Labcoin but at this point I am seriously warning anyone to invest at their own risk.
+1 No power circuitry, no vias, no ground plane. This board looks very odd. What is the controller board? he says these are the blades without the controller board. Could the controller board have all that other shit? I dont know shit about electronics. There are no traces running to the chips - unless it is on the other side of the board.

+1 No power circuitry, no vias, no ground plane. This board looks very odd. Another option is that the PCB manufacturer completely fucked up with incorrect boards.

What is this off to the side?
A rat turd.

The PCBs are not functional - there is no trace leading to the chips. IOW, they cannot work regardless.
Dude, wirewrapping. Now the deployment delays make total sense! Labcoin's ASIC boards - completed.

Heh. This pic still cracks me up. Those boards look nothing like the board on the website and as was mentioned, no traces going to the chips.
|
|
|
Just kill the damn stock. Nothing about Labcoin is legit.

Lets just assume the entire 130nm thing is a bust. What do you all think of this 65nm thing that "TheSeven" is supposedly involved with?
If everything up til now has been a scam, why wouldn't the 65nm also be one?

Not hard to fab some BS PCB boards - few hundred bucks.
Not hard to order some cheapo chips on a tray - few hundred bucks.
Take a picture -> Press Release.
I'm still waiting for that CNN interview.
Not hard to buy Avalons/BFLs and scam 1000% easier and better. Too expensive. Plus no one can get Avalons or BFLs - so much easier to buy some bogus random chips.

They MUST have assembled a board by now. If mean, if they have the chips and they have the boards...there's no possible way they haven't put them together.
They MUST have done it, just out of eagerness if nothing else.
Even if they don't work, why not take a picture of one?
It's so confusing.
Because they have boards and chips but there is something else preventing them from assembling the boards, such as they just got the boards and/or chips in within the past couple days.
|
|
|
I just dont understand why he has to lie.
I do believe that they have chips made, I do believe they have boards made.
I'm sure most here would understand if they say they are behind schedule getting the shit together.
Is it a sign of weakness to miss a deadline in china or something?
Instead of posting unassembled chips they can post the assembled boards and the entire mining rig. That would have been a good start. They must have the rig assembled because they said they were hashing last week. Then why wouldn't they post a picture of the rig?
|
|
|
so, do you guys think that Bitcoin's is drastically over-valued right now? That is should be worth more like $1.00 as that article stated?
|
|
|
Why did this die out? POST THE MINING ADDRESS.
WE already know what is happening. they don't have the boards assembled and hashing yet.
|
|
|
If they don't have assembled boards and aren't hashing then this stock isn't worth anything over IPO price.
