I would have given the coins back if he did not attack me like that.

He comes and attacks me without even giving me a chance to give BTC back Huh

We are debating whether I am a scammer here. Clearly that is not the case.

Will he get the scammer tag or any mark for trying to attack me first ? NO. Because he is big VIP boss and donated 50 BTC to forum.

I am the underdog and have to take all his shit after he can't read numbers and can't communicate with me like a man ...
1102  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 04:19:41 PM
Send it back.

Accident or not, in honor, loyalty and in good faith, send it back.

I agree with Matthew and have to say Yes, Scumbag.

Well I would have sent it back if he did not attack me like a coward.

Will he give me my BTC-e account back ?

Get my previous reputation back ?

No. So I refuse to give refund after he is being a jerk. He is a jerk = I am also a jerk with him.

He made #1 mistake = sending 25 BTC to me

He made #2 mistake = instead of trying to sort it out with my privately like a man he goes the backdoor way and indirectly attacks me
1103  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 04:15:23 PM
I don't even get a chance of appeal or to defend myself.

Then try to, right here. I've made a couple of posts already explaining how what you did was wrong, and you keep ignoring them and focusing on the trolls and bitching about how the VIP is getting preferential treatment. We've established that the whole "I didn't hold a gun to his head so his money transfer was clearly a donation to me" angle is bullshit, so give us another justification of your behavior.

My justification was this :

1. He made the mistake and he takes it out on me. Calls me scammer, thief, liar; gets my BTC-E account banned and comes on here as well to get me scam tag just because he is VIP

2. All this before I even had chance to pay BTC back because it was easter time celebrations

3. Seeing his procedure and decision to directly attack me without giving me a chance to give his btc back and talking to me about it nicely in private and not ruining my reputation

4. I decide to give refund in the form of product so I give him 10 months ( what he paid ) and 2 months bonus. It was the best I could do. Money is still there. Ad was there until theymos removed it. His mistake and I try and compensate for it but if he is a jerk with me I am also a jerk with him. He started it.

Why does he still not comment on here and talk to me privately to sort it out like two men ? Why does he attack me indirectly being a pussy ?

Why does he use theymos ( gives me scammer tag ) and other ways to attack me indirectly ?

He does not want his little side business with mybitcointrade.com and btc-play.com to get hurt and other people to see he is attacking me directly.
1104  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 04:02:30 PM
And still I am the "guilty" one with the big SCAMMER tag Sad

Duhhh... 21-2 ...

Are those the results of the poll ?

I can't even see them myself.

In any case, anyone who thinks this is a scam is probably trolling.

This is not a scam and the scammer tag just proves how money talks.

smart1985 is a VIP, he donated 50 BTC and because of that he gets to label me a scammer for no reason.

I don't even get a chance of appeal or to defend myself.
1105  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 03:53:11 PM
I may be an asshole but not a scammer.

The tag is not justified.

He makes mistake.

I say I give BTC back.

He attacks me.

I did my best to give what he paid for but no refund after he treats me like a thief because he made the mistake first and even so he starts attacking ME for no reason.

The fact I got scammer tag on here just because he is VIP and gets to play around with the admins any way he wants just shows how fair this whole community is.

Scam = A dishonest scheme; a fraud. Swindle.

I never did anything like that. I refuse to pay for his mistakes when he acts like a jerk in the first place towards me.

Will he get my BTC-E account unbanned ? Will he take back his harsh words "liar, thief, scammer" ? Will he roll back my reputation he ruined on the forum ? I doubt it.

And still I am the "guilty" one with the big SCAMMER tag Sad
1106  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 03:45:50 PM
You don't take what you deserve.
Yeah!

He gave me the BTC with his own free will. I never hacked his client. I never pointed a gun to his head.

He acts like a jerk and starts attacking me FIRST before I even had chance to give BTC back = I don't give refund.

He is the first jerk and then why should I not also be a jerk too if he acts like a jerk with me Huh

This is nothing but a scam just a silly mistake he refuses to accept.

I get the scammer tag just because he is VIP on here and donated to forum ... so he gets to label me anything Cry
1107  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 03:40:30 PM
I would have refunded but he started attacking me publicly.
No you wouldn't have. Stop lying. I read the entire log and your forum posts. You were going to give him "credit" for the "overspend".

Stop rationalizing and start being a man.

I initially said I would give the BTC back. This was on easter Sunday and I was busy.

He sees that the BTC don't come back instantly ( I was with family on easter celebrations ) and he immediately starts screaming "SCAMMER, LIAR, THIEF" on BTC-E exchange. My account is banned there and he also comes here on the forums to shout scammer again.

After seeing this defamation and harassment of course I changed my mind and refused to refund. It is his mistake after all.

Best I can do for him is give him 10 months ( what he paid ) and 2 months bonus for the trouble. That is what I did.

I never told him to sent me 25 BTC. In life you make mistakes and he refuses to accept his own mistake. He starts acting like a jerk towards me and he still wants refund Undecided

The ad was there until theymos removed it yesterday. The BTC are not moved. Just because he is a VIP member and donated 50 BTC to forum he gets to give me scammer tag due to his OWN DAMN MISTAKE !
1108  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 03:34:12 PM
So let me get this straight, you have acces to this 25 BTC and refuse to pay them back ?

Yep. Even after the guy showed proof that he owned it and sent it himself.

Well I did not tell the guy to sent me anything. He supposedly says it is a mistake. Can be a donation for all I care.

You send 2000 BTC to black hole like Mtgox did once with eligius you pay for your mistakes in life.

I would have refunded but he started attacking me publicly. He closed my BTC-e account. He attacks me on here. He did not even try to ask nicely to give his BTC back and just starts attacking.

I gave him the service he paid for. I don't do refunds using BTC. Especially for a jerk that does mistakes and comes out here calling me all sorts theif, scammer, liar etc. without privately trying to contact me in a nice manner.
1109  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 03:19:41 PM
Here I am with a big fat scammer tag related to this issue here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483.msg841913#msg841913

I don't think you're a scammer at all. You're just an unethical sleeze  who profits off of other people's mistakes.

The scammer tag isn't appropriate at all, but there is no "Unethical Scummyfuck" tag.

P.S. I voted "no" because you're not a scammer. You're just unethical and the more people whom you draw attention to yourself will only confer with this.

I agree. There is no scam here at all.

His mistake and I tried my best to give his service he paid for 10 months + 2 bonus of my own will.

He decides to come and attack me here and on BTC-E publicly and refuses to cooperate with me and still wants he money back after he made the damn mistake !

I am no scammer. Registered 10 May 2011.

Did deals with people like mrx ( he sent me 7 BTC first for a software license ), lightlord ( he sent me first 1.5 BTC for 100 SLC back in the day ), Herodes ( tested some SMS features for 35 BTC worth ), sonba ( sold a mobo to Chefnet for 62.5 BTC and he was escrow ) and I did not scam anyone EVER. Got some great bitcoin-otc feedback also.

Please remove this annoying scammer tag + can't edit posts + can't change profile.

I am not trying to sell anything to anyone on here right now anyway. It's not like I was selling you all the moon surface for BTC Cheesy
1110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An Argument Against The IBB on: April 28, 2012, 02:39:23 PM
Atlas, please get lost. No one wants you here and you've already been perma-banned twice now.

My first reaction too.

I am pretty sure this is Atlas again ...

So if Bitcoin goes down, these boards can be reused for something else ? or resold for atleast half price of manufacturing cost £200 ? Am I correct ?

I found FPGA boards very useful as back scratchers but as always YMMV !

This is the best FPGA for Bitcoin right now.

I still say wait for Lancelot and also the mystery FPGA that matthewh3 is touting !

Couple of these boards and a router mining would be golden for me !

When will they be shipped ( lead time ) ?
1114  Economy / Securities / Re: Red Star Mining IPO GLBSE Listing - FPGA double boards ~800MH/s@~40W - each on: April 26, 2012, 04:58:54 PM

Then where is the announcement from the "mystery" FPGA firm ?

For all I know you could be mining on a BFL single etc.
1115  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: April 26, 2012, 12:25:36 AM
I had all my miners pointed at GPU max, mining on the same pool, no public work..

Now after the downtime, I switch them all to point directly at that pool, my hash's are higher, and Im making more per day...

Not exactly what I wanted to see...     Huh

Same thing I did but how do I know when the purchases are running and how does cgminer know that also ?

If I am pointing my private pool on GPUMAX to a dead pool and if purchases start coming in then will GPUMAX grab the attention of my miners again ?

Are your miners connecting through GPUMAX now ?
1116  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: April 26, 2012, 12:04:17 AM
Anybody else just got a lot of 0.02 and 0.01 and 0.009 type of payments on their GPUMAX address Huh

I see purchases are enabled again so will the mining start ? Anyone getting public work ?

What is the update with GPUMAX status ?

If I have the private pool set on a pool that is down right now and if public work starts appearing will my cgminer automatically connect to get the public work going ( I have failover-only set to true ) ?

Thanks !

I have submit stale also on also.

About 700 000 shares total submitted and SS still 0 like it should be.

What version of cgminer?
I noticed that it doesn't affect my rigs running 2.1.2 but it does affect the ones running 2.3.1f & 2.3.2

2.3.3

I only update if I need a feature that is not available in the current release or if the new release brings improvements etc.

No need to use 2.3.4 because I don't run a ZTEX Wink
1118  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows/osx 2.3.4 on: April 25, 2012, 11:45:19 PM
If submit-stale = true (or pool is using submit-stale flag) shouldn't SS always be 0.

If submit-stale = true and  SS is > 0 what is happening.
A) cgminer is not submitting share? err?
or
B) cgminer is.

B is less of a problem but it results in bogus stats.  If share is submitted then it will either be returned as rejected (R count ++) or accepted (A count ++).  If SS is also being incremented then the same share is being counted twice.

The reason I ask is I have submit-stale = true and lately have been noticing an SS count of > 0.  It is a low % (say 0.5%) but it should always be 0 right?

I have submit stale also on also.

About 700 000 shares total submitted and SS still 0 like it should be.

Strange ...

1120  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7990 delayed on: April 25, 2012, 10:54:37 PM
Firstly, I don't think 1250 MHz for a 7970 is safe or maintainable for long periods without electromigration taking a toll on the card.

Secondly, I think they will launch 7990 in May.
