...
and now:

Terence Crawford Reacts To Gervonta Davis’ Prediction For Errol Spence Fight

Quote
In a clip from before it was even official, Davis expressed extreme confidence in a Spence victory.

“Errol. I know for sure. Imagine we in a gun fight, right? And I got a metal shield, and the opposite person got a glass shield. Who gonna come out on top?”

“[It doesn’t matter] how much he run around, once them hands get on him it’s gonna slow him down … Ain’t no ‘if’ – he gonna touch him.”

Source: https://boxing-social.com/news/terence-crawford-on-tanks-pick-for-spence/

Well, things in boxing lend themselves to a lot of speculation, each person has their point of view, everyone says what they think best, and sometimes this must be respected, of course boxers are somewhat delicate when they talk about them, they can be good or bad things that are more delicate at this point, you have to know how to say them so as not to hurt their ego in any way, every boxer needs to have high self-esteem, a high ego, at least That is what we have always seen in every fight, and when someone speaks well or badly of a boxer, once in a while they can get a response , because they are messing with him , the spirits are there on the lookout.

If I were to collect opinions from boxers so I can use them in my betting analysis, I would avoid Shakur Stevenson, Tank Davis, Jermell Charlo, etc. Tank Davis is not just handled by PBC and Showtime just like Spence but both are very close friends over the years. I would be more interested if Tank Davis shows us a $5 million bet on Spence if he is really that confident, see if he is willing to risk around 10% of his last fight's purse. Or news that says Tank is now willing to stop cherry-picking and fight the real dogs at 135. Shakur and Haney are waiting for this cherry picker to grow some balls. Grin

Anyways, I already had a 1.77 ML bet on Crawford weeks ago. Thought of adding some but the odds are becoming more favorable to the turning 36 Bud Crawford.

Just wait until the fight comes if the line doesn't move that much from here I can see some heavy bets coming in on Crawford.  Dude is getting up there but he is still a monster amd this is the fight he needs to win to put legitimacy onto his career.  I wouldn't be surprised if dude knocked out Spence in the first 3 rounds.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: July 23, 2023, 06:20:23 PM
This year's FIFA Women's World Cup tournament so far has not produced much goals as is expected of women's league. And to be honest, it's quite boring. Maybe as it's in it's early stages. I was expecting the Three Lionesses of England to thrash the Haitian side but their performance was not something I'd call satisfactory and if they couldn't beat the Haitian side well, is it the Denmark women they'd defeat? Maybe this will end in a draw.

Agreed so far it's been a little uninspiring.  I expect the knockout stages to be a little more watchable but to date there hasn't been that great of soccer (or futbol whatever) being played.  US side should have annihilated the Vietnam side and just spooked sloppy when in their 18, laid off betting for now but considering betting the underdogs going forward as the favorites have been just squeaking by.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 22, 2023, 07:36:32 PM
Durant get a bad reputation because he go to Warriors just to win a easy ring and to many nba fans disrespect him just for that reason and also maybe this is the reason why WB is angry with him. But eventhough with that still both deserve respect since both of them is really good and show that they are good in their era.

It seems to me that Durant's chase for easy rings at that time affected not only his reputation but also his legacy. I mean, he is definitely one of the most outstanding players in NBA history, but at the same time, in my opinion, he will always be a notch below players like MJ, Kobe, Dirk, etc., because of that signing with the Warriors.

Lebron did the same same thing when he took his talents to South Beach.  Teaming up with d wade and Chris Bosh started this whole thing.  They all do it now though pretty much.  Not saying I agree with it because give me the 80s and 90s all day where you stayed on a team and hated the other players and wouldn't dare join with them.  Those days are gone.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: July 22, 2023, 07:33:55 PM
0-2 so far betting this one.  I had Canada winning and they tied.  And then I bet US over 6 goals scored and they didn't come close.  There was a lot of rust on some of them players out there last night.  Could have easily been 6 or 7 but they missed the mark.  Maybe I should just stay away from betting this tourney lol
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $1,080 Billion powerball lotto winner in the USA on: July 22, 2023, 07:32:17 PM
I just saw a news on youtube that someone won the $1,080 Billion jackpot prize on the Powerball lotto in the US. In the video I watched, someone claims that she was the winner, but as of now, there is still no official announcement from the lottery organization. also, the store where the winning ticket was bought will receive a $1 Million bonus from the organization.

anyway, it still really surprises me that if the winner decides to take the prize in one lump sum, they will only get half of the total price because of the taxes that will be taken out.

here's the video I saw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LINxj6C-00c

That's how those taxes work.  Not only does the total prize amount get cut if its a lump sum it also gets taxed at the highest bracket.  So in the end the government always wins around 70% given that they take some of the proceeds before that's even established.  The prize is so high so what's the difference to the winner but it truly is criminal.  But hey if ypu don't like it just don't play it's like anything else.

1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) 2021 on: July 22, 2023, 03:14:33 PM
That was a indeed brilliant free kick scored by Messi that caught Cruz Azul goalkeeper napping, what a goal scored in 94th minutes to seal the win for Inter Miami who are winless in 11 matches, Messi brought his characteristic magic to the team he is such a talented player scored in his debut to secure the win for his new club and I am very sure Inter Miami will become one of the most popular club in MLS  because of the presence of Messi and consequently MLS will gain more global coverage because of his fans across the globe will glue to their TV set to watch his matches.
Some people still have the argument that it was a scripted game to favor Messi on his debut. I wonder why Greatness can be so hurting to some people. Most of the people who say this and have this at heart are those that did not even watch the game. It was a well taken freekick from Lionel Messi, not scripted but hyped a lot because it is Lionel Messi in a new league. The media likes Messi, so the goal was everywhere. Ronaldo who the media seem to have a problem with scored a similar freekick goal from almost the same distance in the Saudi professional league, but there was no hype on it.

So Messi's goal was not scripted just as Ronaldo's own was not too, the difference in the two cases is just the media, how the media hyped one and how they made common the other.

People are just skeptical when something happens so perfect or sounds scripted like a movie.  Was a great 25 foot shot from one of the best that ever did it plain and simple.  Unbelievable how he tucked it in there.  But after all the sports scandals through the years you can't blame people for questioning the legitimacy of it how it played out.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon and PolygonZKEVM speculation on: July 21, 2023, 06:18:32 PM
What do you think about the polygon and polygonzkevm ecosystem? They launched a new token called "POL" to support both chains. So the existing matic token will be swapped to "POL". Also, the Polygon lab Founder is given some hints about the existing token airdrop. What do you think about it?

I'm not a huge fan of any alts but polygon has a bright future ahead.  While we were sitting in a bear market they didn't sit back and wait until everything was pumping, they pushed forward with some really progressive stuff.  Interested to see what this coins price does when we are in a full bull market.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: July 21, 2023, 06:15:22 PM
Which is the biggest meme coin yet? You can visit the cmc list if you want, and don't forget to name your profitable meme coin.
I can share some name of top meme coin.
Shiba
Dogecoin
Floki
Babydogecoin
Pepe
Mona

I hate all of them but no doubt it's dogecoin.  Without dogecoin none of those coins would even exist.  And what the heck is baby dogecoin lol.  Is that even a thing?  The level of stupidity of people who throw theor money into thin air is amazing.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 21, 2023, 06:13:45 PM
If clippers somehow manages to unload Kawhi and PG at the same time, that would be an insane situation, and Harden already played back with Durant for a while, him playing with Westbrook as well would be quite funny, well he technically did that at Rockets if I do not remember wrong.

In the end, we are going to end up with something good for Clippers if they can somehow manage to get rid of Kawhi and PG, they can't really easily do that because those players do not play all that much and they worth a lot right now, their contracts are huge so it is going to be a hard job. I believe it is not going to be simple situation and lets see what they can actually do. I think the biggest trouble for them would be the fact that no team has cap that can eat it up.

Yeah it's gonna be tough getting value.  Both going towards the back end of theor careers and both of them that never can stay on the court.  Think pg's most games was 50 something in like 4 years.  Knicks fans were clamoring to trade for him lol.  I was laughing at the players and picks being suggested.  Dude who is 34 and never stays on the court.  Nope no thanks.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: July 21, 2023, 06:11:26 PM
Nigeria missed a couple of their best players today especially Rasheedat who plays for Atletico Madrid (w) team

What happened to Rasheedat? why wasn't she even on the bench? There's no doubt that the Atletico Madrid player is a great player and is one of the important pillars for Nigeria.

I'm still proud of their performance today and I hope they improve on their ball distribution and chances creation before the next match.

This draw is a positive move that they managed to do even without some of their important players, hopefully we can see the 3 points they get when they face Australia.

The draw will definitely put some pressure on Canada in their next game too of course, Rasheedat had a red card against a team I can't remember right now, in the Women African Nations Cup, and that's why she's ineligible for this game.

She should however be available for the remainder of tournament, that surely would ease the pressure and workload on Asisat Oshoala, I'm literally going bank on the against Australia for sure, I hope the odds would be up to double digits  Cheesy

Yeah I can't believe Sinclair didn't hit the pk.  Lost that game thought Canada would take that one.  Hope this isn't how my betting goes during the entire cup lol.  0-1 so far I didn't bet either of the opening games although I should have.  Always like betting the host countries first games.  Need US to crush tonight.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: July 21, 2023, 05:26:15 PM
It is interesting to see how some matches are quite different from what we are used to.
Check out the USA vs Vietnam odds
1.001 to USA win, 18 draw and 101.0 Vietnam win

Now take a look at the odds for goals:

Even though it's USA, it's a debut match, I believe a bet on Under 6.25 is a good bet.
I think I'll take my chances  Cheesy

It's the only way to bet that game but I wouldn't touch it.  You have some youth on this squad and will want to make a statement the first game.  With goals for and goals against a possible decider they aren't going to throw on the brakes.  The raping and rose level are on limited minutes and I bet the younger women go for blood.  My guess is 8-0 US side.  Can't decide how I want to bet it yet though
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is ever the right time. on: July 20, 2023, 09:21:07 PM
Old thread but valid question.  For altcoins there never really is a way to find out.  I'd say if you are interesting in coming into a project but can't figure out the best position for entry (or exit) well then maybe just cost share your way into and put of coins.  It limits your downside risk while providing opportunity if a coin spikes its not like ypu missed the whole thing. That would be my advise.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the upcoming LTC halving a market mirage? on: July 20, 2023, 09:11:21 PM
Ltc halving is knocking at the doorstep.
During this event, the block reward for mining will be cut in half, from 12.5 to 6.25 LTC. Some people are wondering if the halving is as significant as it's made out to be. It happens every 4 years and is meant to maintain Litecoin's value and attract more investors.

There are differing opinions on its impact. Some believe that the reduced supply will make Litecoin more valuable and lead to a price increase, while others think that the high demand for Litecoin might minimize the halving's effect. In the past, Litecoin experienced substantial price rallies before previous halvings. What are your thoughts on how the halving will affect Litecoin this year?"

I mean yeah I guess it will lower the available block rewards miners can sell, lowering available daily supply but it really doesn't mean much.  Just like with everything else.  It all waits until bitcoin starts blasting off.  That is the real catalyst for litecoin and every other altcoin.  It might have just been a coincidence in the past that it occurred during a bitcoin rally.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: July 20, 2023, 09:06:33 PM
Gambling is a game that has an addictive effect. Most people who have joined gambling sites will find it difficult to get out of the gambling circle. It doesn't matter how much you lose at gambling, as long as we still have money, we will continue to gamble

Can you share your first experience playing gambling? and who told you about gambling sites?

I myself know gambling sites from my own friends. I idly and try to deposit. Starting from playing with a little money, after a while I didn't know how much money I had spent playing gambling

contender.

I think the first time I gambled online was when online poker became huge with party poker.  For the most part it was easy Pickens, but through the times playing I felt more and more like it was gamed.  People uncharacteristic folding or calling when they have no right to or it wasn't in their style of play.  Most off I thought players were colluding.  Then came the scandals so I ended up being right.  Think those online poker sites are getting better but back then it was the real wild west of gambling lol.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 20, 2023, 09:03:37 PM
James Harden should seriously consider going back to Rockets. First of all he is a hero in Houston, and secondly there would be no pressure, the team is just trying to rebuild right now and even though they would hamper the rebuild process with Harden taking minutes from young guns, he would still be able to teach them a lot of stuff as well.

If not, then I do not see a reason why Clippers would be better than Sixers, sure on paper Clippers look alright, but Kawhi and PG end up injured all the time, so there is really nothing wrong. In the end we should not really be worried about any of this, we should be considering this as a normal trade deal if he seriously wants to go. They won't win anything even with him there though.

Houston doesn't need James they aren't competing for a chip this year.  And I think you hit the nail on the head he would take time away from other budding stars.  He is a ball dominant player.  There's times when he sits on the ball the whole shot clock and chucks a shot or tries to draw a foul.  That would only set this team back.  Hardens value comes on a contemder.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: July 20, 2023, 04:29:06 PM
The first match was a big surprise. Norway were the hot favorites and New Zealand had odds of +750 for this particular match. But in the end the Oceanian women managed to defeat the Scandinavians by a margin of 1-0 (goal scored by Hannah Wilkinson). And despite the concerns raised previously, a massive crowd attended this match. Total attendance was 42,137, and this is just unbelievable for a women's football match. And their neighbors (Australia) also managed to win against the Republic of Ireland, and this particular match had a massive attendance of 75,784.

I almost laid in on new Zealand.  I always like betting on underdog teams that are host nations and I went against my gut.  What a great game they played and with that Norway has to be reeling.  I don't follow too much year by year but know Norway was definitely not supposed to take this loss here.  Looking forward to see the US team tomorrow night.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIGNS THAT A CRYPTO PROJECT IS A SCAM on: July 19, 2023, 09:58:00 PM
As cryptocurrency continues to gain popularity, more and more people are investing in various crypto projects. Unfortunately, with this rise in interest comes an increase in scams.

Here are signs that a crypto project may be a scam:

1. Lack of transparency: A legitimate crypto project should have clear information about its team, its technology, and its roadmap. If a project fails to provide this information, or only offers vague promises, it could be a sign that they are hiding something.

2. Unrealistic promises: If a project promises too-good-to-be-true returns on investment, it is likely a scam. While some crypto projects are innovative and have the potential for significant growth, investors should be wary of promises that seem too exaggerated.

3. Lack of community engagement: A legitimate crypto project will have an active and engaged community. If a project lacks social media activity or community interaction, it could be a red flag.

4. No clear use case: A legitimate crypto project should have a clear use case for its token. If a project cannot articulate a clear purpose for its token, or its use case seems vague or broad, it may be a scam.
Before investing in any crypto project, investors should do their research and look for these red flags. By being vigilant, investors can protect themselves from scams and make informed investment decisions.

 https://www.binance.com/en/feed/post/804194

The clear line that it's a scam us a zillion things but here are two indicators to me:

1)  if a coin is named after another coin its never legit. Those scammers are just trying to scrape some of the success from the coin they named theirs after from

2) planned coin or token burns as a feature.  When a mass amount of tokens are planned to be burned with no mechanism other than someone burning them its a scam.why even build those coins in to begin with only to burn them with the perception of lowering supply lol
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A check on your wallet on daily basis can earn you some dollar on: July 19, 2023, 09:50:28 PM
That can be deceiving from just a glance.   There are some cases where a coin will have no volume and people go in and buy a dollars worth at such a high cost to give this impression of a spike when in fact its just that, manipulation.  Nothing goes that high that quick at mass volume.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 19, 2023, 09:40:43 PM
There's a popular  remark among gamblers in the part of  my country I reside. The saying is expressed like this "if you quit that's when you lose".  They use this statement to encourage and give futuristic hope to themselves that no matter how much they loss today or how many wagers they have lost they don't need to quit as it's possible you may be the next jackpot winner tomorrow. For it's like say don't quit yet there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.

From what I observed from this statement is that, many of these gamblers have been misled by this very remark of a hypothetical hope which has liquidated their account.  While some who would have quit gambling long ago still hedge their hope on the idea behind the statement and keeps wagering.

Now let's take this to a discuss; how correct is this statement? And is there any similar statement like that in your home-country that's popularly used among gamblers to encourage themselves from quiting gambling because they're losing?
Or would you allow your decision to quit gambling to be affected by any popular statement among your fellow gamblers or it's a no no thing for you?

That's a rediculous statement and I live by this one "you have to know when to hold them and when to fold them".  Quiting isn't losing, continuing to lose is losing lol.  Chasing bad bets one after another is literally the reason why people go belly up.  If you lose move on there's another day.
