Speaking of Casimero, the decision was turn over no contest to knockout by the KBM (Korea Boxing Member's Commission).

Source: https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/sports/othersports/855186/casimero-vs-akaho-result-overturned-to-knockout/story/

Not sure though how will this affect those who bet on Casimero winning by knockout, will casino's also turn over their decision and give the winnings to the bettors? I'm asking this because this is the first time that I see this happening for a a long time.
Nice to see this, justice for Casimero since he's deserve to win at that matches.

IMO when the match is ended for no contest, the casino already return the initial bet for every gamblers. I don't think the casino will look at the previous bet and then calculate the winnings, then reward it to the gamblers, too much work for them.

However casino isn't should be blamed since they're also don't know if this happen.

Yeah, you are right, too much work for them because they need to pay those who bet on Casimero to win via TKO in round 2, or range 1-3. I hope they will be fair to the gamblers and pay what is due to them. Anyway, finally congratulations to Casimero for having a successful comeback in a new division.

Yes! Bulls 3 wins in a row and I have hopes for play-offs spots again! Sure , it will be very hard for them to achieve it during the internal problems they are facing right now but some of the players really put up a hard work and they bring home victories.

Nets are on fire lately! Winning streak and and important victory against Bucks last night and it seems they won't stop anytime soon.

The Brooklyn Nets have been doing really well in the last games. They have a very important winning streak, they have not lost for 8 matches. Moreover, there were some very strong teams among these matches.
After their legendary performances against the Golden State Warriors, they also managed to beat the Bucks. Next up is the Cleveland Cavaliers, and if they manage to beat them, they'll continue a great streak Smiley
They beat good teams in their previous games, which tells that this team is already legit. Seemed like firing Steve Nash was the right decision as they are playing like a team to beat this season. I am now convince that they are the top contender to win the championship this season, and as long as Durant and Irving are healthy, their chances is really huge.
1343  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: December 23, 2022, 09:53:59 PM
Could be a lot;
 - sources of income
 - capital for investment
 - lifestyle
 - goal

Even if we do the whole day working and earn huge money at the end of the day but it is out of our mind to save some and plan to invest, all of this money will just be lost into our hands too fast without seeing good results. It all goes to expenses.
Some people wanted to invest but have no money or other sources of income to support it which is really difficult and still, it ends up with nothing.

But honestly, it is all about our mindset. We can do better things and better ways if we have the mindset to achieve one thing that most of us don't have, they all have a plan but do nothing.
1344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should your wife or husband know your seed phrase? on: December 23, 2022, 09:18:32 PM
Many husbands and wives have misunderstandings due to hiding some secrets I see that telling them about what we did and this password/seed phrase is a need in order to avoid confrontation. Since it was already our partner in life, trust is already built as so they have the right to know all about it and of course, must know how to take responsibility once we are gone. That is unless if your wife/husband can't really be trusted due to some reasons in terms of money handling.

As a husband and wife, it was very important to have good communication and relationships, hiding something can trigger to a bigger problem.
1345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: December 23, 2022, 01:07:35 PM
Usually though to be able to peak at the right time, boxers mostly needs 8 weeks hard preparation inside the ring and probably that will still be the target of his camp, so that his condition will be just about right.

But maybe the preparation will be more on mental for Ryan and so his team needs more time to swallow and understand how they will overcome this one as others said, Tank will be the favorite and so Ryan will need to be very determined to overcome Davis in their fight.

I very much agree! It will certainly be more on his mental preparation than physical! He is in his best possible conditioning in his life as a boxer. He needs this challenge to test himself in the ring!

Also, if everyone can remember, Ryan Garcia was a victim of depression and suicidal thoughts before his return to fight Emmanuel Tagoe. He also said that he needed psychiatric help. We do not want this to return before May or the fight might be cancelled or he might go out of the ring with a stretcher hehehehe.

The fact that he already came back in boxing, I believe that he was already able to conquer his problem, and with that said, I'm expecting him to be his best in this big fight. This  is by far the biggest fight of his career, Davis is a champion and even listed as a favorite against him, so this is a big challenge for him and I'm pretty sure he understand it that's why he skip the fight with Gesta to focus on this particular fight.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 23, 2022, 12:32:41 PM
We only have two games later, what are your picks on these games?

The home teams are both heavy favorites, here is the betting spread.

Spurs vs Pelicans (-8.5)
Wizards vs Jazz (-7)

I will take the favorites, they are both good at home, so I'm confident that they will win and cover the spread. The pelicans have (12 - 4) home record while Jazz have (11 - 5 ) record. Might as well put a parlay on these two teams, Wizards had just broken their losing streak but it's a back to back game for them, so they might lose again. Also, I have over bet on the total of these two games.

Same here, no doubts as well for the Jazz to defeat the Wizards later. It might be a close game but I know that the Jazz will definitely have a good night and grab the win in their favor. The same with the Pelicans, they might have a hard time because Zion and Ingram won't be with the team this time but I know they can find some ways while the Spurs are tanking.

You guys were right about the Jazz beating the Wizards because they won by 9 points, enough for them to cover the spread which is -7 points. Also, the Pelicans were able to cover the spread because they won by 9 points, the spread was -8.5.
1347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins on: December 22, 2022, 10:40:39 AM
Perhaps, the idea of buying Bitcoin only is not a great idea for me. Altcoins are also profitable and sometimes even more profitable than Bitcoin. But, it doesn't mean we have to invest in any altcoin without any thorough research otherwise we just fall into scam coins that are already flooded in the market.
What I can say OP is that making a choice of investing that you know was profitable and most of all it has a working product as it gives some ROI assurance.
Honestly, I consider those coins that are on the top 10 to be a greater choice but I haven't chosen them all, why? I'd rather choice 3-5 coins in bulk than buying number of different coins.

1349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on: December 22, 2022, 09:32:12 AM
Also, I'm just confused with Tank's statement lately because he suddenly throws an issue with no proof that his future foe, Ryan Garcia is taking PEDs.

What's his intention with his statement? I think it boost my confidence in Garcia that he could beat Tank if they will fight. This kind of statement are from fighters who are already making excuses because they believe that they have a chance to lose in the fight, so if in case Davis losses, we already know what's his excuse.
1350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance lots of FUD on: December 19, 2022, 12:15:36 PM
We are aware that influencers are to blame for this Binance FUD. I anticipate that the FTX probe will turn up several flaws on some of these centralized exchanges. Even if the majority of people believe that CZ is trustworthy and won't misappropriate other people's money, I nevertheless suggest that users only leave a small amount on exchanges.
And it is a MUST.
We don't care if the news is true or fake, or any news that creates FUDs, as long as we don't keep a huge amount of money from this exchange (Binance), we are still fine.

I'd see how these FUDs create panic among investors and traders but sometimes we have to ignore it. Binance has been one of the most trusted CEX in the crypto market and thousands of traders are using this (including me), and despite the negative news, I remain trusting this exchange.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: December 19, 2022, 08:48:24 AM
Just to let everyone knows that Ryan will not go to on a tune up fight before a Tank Davis clash.

He will rather have to wait for Davis to win against Hector Garcia then him waiting for the next 2-3 months next year. It could be a advantage or disadvantage for Ryan Garcia, advantage as he could focus and train just for Davis in that span of time. Or disadvantage because of ring rust  because it is close to a year without him fighting.

Yes, I also read this news earlier that Ryan Garcia will go directly against Gervonta Davis few months after the latter's tune-up fight. Don't know what happened in their camp for the sudden decision as they haven't disclosed some reasons why but I'm thinking that it may be risky for the young blood because Gesta is also dangerous, Ryan Garcia's chances to win the fight against the Filipino boxer is actually good but I think their main concern is that Ryan Garcia won't be leaving the ring unscathed which will result some delay of their preparations because he needed to rest first.

He could be very confident that he will win, when we say it's just a tuneup fight, he does not consider his opponent as a serious threat. The real threat here is Davis, that's why he wants to ensure that he is well-prepared for this big fight next year. Whoever wins this fight will surely make headlines, so I guess it would be nice if there's a rematch clause so we will witness another battle between the two.

Actually the tuneup fight of Ryan Garcia is not gonna happen anymore as according to the news, he wants to focus on Davis. I just knew it today, so that would increase the chance that this big fight will really happen next year. Tank Davis vs Ryan Garcia, one of the biggest fight next year, probably the biggest if the Spence vs Crawford is not going to happen.

Then there's no risk for Garcia that the big fight might not happen. With his focus now is on Davis alone, I expect him to show the best of him in their coming fight. Davis hasn't made a statement yet if he would also do the same which is to cancel his tuneup fight, if he would do that, the better so they will be 100% focus on beating each other.
1352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 19, 2022, 07:06:18 AM
congrats @jakelyson, your parlay won, it was not easy watching this game because they didn't win easily especially the Lakers and Brooklyn who had a tough match ups. Well, a win is still a win and that's what matters in the game. Sorry for me because I took the opposite, I'm more on the underdog parlay, so better luck next time for me.
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 19, 2022, 06:41:27 AM
The amount of his earnings from this fight is just a little portion of his wealth, so if he said that he will donate everything
then so be it.

Manny Pacquiao came from a poor family, so I believe he can relate to all the sufferings of poor people, that is why he is lending out his hands every time he has a chance to do so.

It could be too little compared to his total weight but it's already a big help for the poor. Manny is a people's champ because he has a golden heart, not only in boxing but in real  life. And guess what? even if his era in boxing is already over, he still continue to help people, so let's support his exhibition fights.
1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you expect from cryptocurrency? on: December 18, 2022, 02:22:24 PM
Todays world's economy is not so good. High rate of inflation and many bad things are happen, also cryptocurrency market seems not so good either. But I think it is better to hold bitcoin rather than fiat as government seems that can't do something significant improvement on economic growth. Unlike my expectations for the world economy, I have good expectations to cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. Bitcoin has a good thing that called a "Halving" where it usually cause it price to rise, while other fiat don't have anything to expect except inflation. I would like to know about your expectations about cryptocurrency, please share your opinion.
While the value of fiat money decreased due to high market inflation, Bitcoin prices also suffer a decline. But guess what, we never see any recovery happens to fiat money which is far from what happens to Bitcoin. Though we see a huge decline in Bitcoin, however, we can never say this is meant to be forever as we know that recovery comes next after this bear season. Yet, we never know exactly what will happen to Bitcoin but if we mentioned fiat, you will be expecting a lower value in the future.
1355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Accumulation phase is out!? on: December 18, 2022, 01:57:20 PM
The market has always been unpredictable and surprising at the same time but for me, it's still a good chance for everyone to accumulate good coins, especially those who still took time to save so they will have funds for investment. The bearish season might still take time since there are still lots of economic occurences that affect it but if we'll accumulate during this season, we'll have good preparation when the bull season approaches.
You'll be thinking it was a great opportunity but can't take the higher risk as well especially if you have no experience in a situation like this. The dump can't be all the time a good indication of accumulation, many people just wait for some recovery before investing. That is why I don't encourage people to invest more but also to listen to the market sentiment and feel the trend. Checking the market progress seems to be needed this time.

But of course, if you are just about to hold long-term and have extra money, this will be a good time.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Mercito Gesta (January) on: December 18, 2022, 09:51:35 AM

Maybe there's less risk here but there's no assurance that they will win. Well, for Ryan Garcia, his camp knows how important this fight before a big fight with Tank Davis, so they choose a fighter that could give Garcia a good challenge. Until this fight is over, we cannot be too excited with Garcia's fight on Tank Davis as you know, upset could happen.
Between Ryan's opponent and Tank's opponent, Ryan is facing a risky challenger, Gesta's first fight was in 2003 and he fought for world titles two times already in 2012 and 2018 he is in battle tested and he just comes from a Unanimous decision win against Diaz he should not underestimate the guy style is very different from all the other boxers that Ryan has fought, he can engage and he is a good counter puncher, he will have a very good tune fight in Gesta and talking about upsets it's possible here.

That depends on how you see the fight, but if you look at the age gap, you can tell that there's a big difference as Garcia is only 24 years old while Gesta is already 35 years old. As per https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/218078, Gesta's alias is "Guerrero No Mercy", let's see if he will live that on his biggest fight of his life in boxing.

Yes there's an age ha between these two fighter 11 years gap is quite big a 24 years old Garcia want to fight a 35 years old marcito Gesta which unfair right? if we base on age.  But in the world of boxing age doesn't matter once a young fighter want to fight an old one then go for as we all know that strategy and toughness are the basis if a young fight are tougher and have a good strategy on fighting then a big chance and also in adult fighter.

Age matters a lot because if not, Pacman would easily be able to beat Ugas when they fought. I guess this is the last chance for Gesta to prove that he is still good in this competition, at least he was able to fight a champion and a chance to get his belt if this is a championship fight. I love Filipino boxers but I gotta admit here, Gesta is too old for a young Garcia.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 18, 2022, 09:33:49 AM
Currently place a parlay in NBA and only one team needs to win left. CAVS vs MAVS hoping for an OT now, the game was really close I thought that it was a sure win for the MAVS but the game was really close.
@danherbias07 That's a nice odds. Congratulations!

Edit: What a great defense by the Cavaliers, I lose but that was a really nice match.
Both teams are actually playing great defense. 5 minutes with a total of only 7 points.  Grin I was hoping I could still reach the last line on my other parlay which is 210.5+ for that game, but it didn't.

Even without Luka many of the Mavs players stepped up their game, especially Kemba Walker who finally got his long minutes. How strong these Mavs will be if they can keep that kind of energy? Many expected it will be a blowout in favor of the Cavs.
The only points the Dallas made was a 3 point shot from Kemba Walker. By the way, I'm happy seeing him back again, he seemed to be a big thing for the Dallas Mavericks, hopefully he will remain healthy.

I expect it will be a blowout win by the Cavs because no Luka and they have an impressive home record, but it turns out it was a great game, a close one.

The Pelicans, on the other hand, didn't cover the +3.5 but it was surprising how close the game was and there was a time they had a big lead.
2nd half was all Booker, he felt it, and he was in the zone. 58 freaking points.

They weren't able to take care of their lead carefully that's why they lose, better luck next time.
1358  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: December 17, 2022, 09:38:39 PM
It's a great idea if we can make it happen, in my opinion, it is very difficult to leave money for investment in the method or system above, there are many temptations to make the plan fail, if you are not married there will be many temptations to do pleasures such as traveling, trying various foods, and another hobby that makes easy money to run out.

You can save that amount easily depending on your lifestyle. If you are living a simple life and you are not an outgoing person who spends money just to mingle with your friends or if you don't have other expenses. But if you are an outgoing person who loves following the trend, then the temptation to spend too much will always exist. You need to focus only on your needs and not on your wants if you want to save bigger.
Having this lifestyle, you'll never that this person is thinking about saving but naturally enjoying his life while he/she is still alive. It is a very common reason why they do this  "we only live one's" and if we die, we can't do this stuff anymore and can't make use of our hard-earned money anymore. I got their point but for a responsible and not selfish person, they will always think about the future of their families, and giving them a comfortable and secured life is the best thing we can leave for them before we die. That is perhaps a good mindset, we work hard for the future, not just today.
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your alt bags on: December 17, 2022, 09:11:01 PM
Almost all altcoins are now making new all time low, Gala games for example look like it's going to 0.015$ after holding 0.025$ for months, I have halted my buys right now because I believe that BTC will go lower, what are you plans?
Honestly, you are investing altcoins that are certainly at a low value in the market, therefore, it was hard to expect them to look green while Bitcoin is also on the decline situation. These coins are more independent of Bitcoin and when it dumps, these altcoins are badly affected and dump more.
And if you have trust in these coins, I suggest that you extend your patience and keep them, never think about selling them as you are probably at loss. May these coins will surge during the bull market, you'd better wait for that moment. If you have some funds, make use of it for other coins which are more profitable than these coins that you have mentioned.
