Hmm... Checked the Awesome Miner, and didn't found reliable crash functionality (maybe, I've missed some settings?). Looks like it can't restart computer/GPU if some videocard will die, or the hashrate fill fall below defined limit (which is usually also means, that one of the GPU is dead). It's not a fully functional replacing...

give awesome miner some time it's worth it and cost less then  CGWatcher and  CGremote did by far ,I used to support this as well , the DEV of awesome miner seems to be very active and on top of getting features added asap just have to ask for it .

The internet is buzzing with news about the latest $200 Radeon RX 480. Does anyone knows how to calculate the amount of LTC it could mine per day on one of those cards?

1390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Motherboards with power buttons and without on: June 28, 2016, 02:18:52 AM
my  Motherboard must have some kind of  safe mode built into it i couldn't  get it to stay on without a power switch which btw to op is a way safer way of turning it on or off . i did in fact try to short it being cheap it powered for 5 seconds then shut down so i bought a 4 dollar switch don't be cheap here it might turn out bad .'

tip: if you have a old case laying around your not using take the switch out of it if it's not hardware wired in, if you don't want to buy a switch.
1391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: May I mine Ethereum with hardwares of bitcoin miners? For example AntS7 or S9? on: June 26, 2016, 11:39:12 AM
Thank you, now I understand why pool hashes too low

to be honest I'm amazed  you even see any hashing without a lot of rejects that counter it ( I'm not making fun or being rude either) ,

in short no hash and no reward at all tiring it .

if you decide to, you can CPU mine ETH, and not just GPU mine ,  just have to look up how to  . Smiley .but do like they all say only do sha256 type coins with S9's or antminers  ): .
1392  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [14000Th] Eligius: 0% Fee BTC, 105% PPS NMC, No registration, CPPSRB on: June 26, 2016, 11:27:02 AM
to be honest , i don't understand what you mean by this
You can confirm if it is a large coinbase causing the issue by trying to mine on P2Pool.  Their coinbase is WAY larger than Eligius's, since I've imposed a size limit on it to better facilitate miners with poor work generation speed.

if it hashes up to speed on Ant's pool or slush's pool which i thought had a bigger coinbase or maybe i don't understand the term bigger coinbase and i usually do, to me that means a large a mount of hashes on your pool, i Guess i just misunderstand that term and probable always have .

Luke
i tried what you said and it didn't work, i still under hashes on this pool of all the pools i tired it's only on this one I'm not complaining , it doesn't matter thu I'm just waiting for this to go fully live and hope the hash rate goes back up for this pool that will be awesome to see again.

yea  ty for not taking script out of BFG and all im gonna say on that subject .

sorry it took so long getting back , i do other types of mining  Smiley  and stuff with coins .
1393  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: set avalon 6 miner to DHCP client, now it is lost and can not connect. on: June 25, 2016, 01:42:32 AM
set your PC to

192.168.0.1

then go to your  Browner

and type

192.168.0.100 with the PI on .

there software defaults to
192.168.0 not 192.168.1

if that fails burn the image to a SD again then try above .https://canaan.io/en/support/

I'M not sure just how to reset a Avalon miner other then do above there is no hardware reset i  ever found . if that helps keep the BTC . not needed

i would leave it as a static IP, make sure nothing else is using that IP on your network that way you all ways know were to look, to some thing like 192.168.1.200 or higher.

tip : you may get better help by moving your post here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=40.0 Smiley and don't be alarmed if it gets moved by a admin  .

shipping thu the post office is 10 to 15 bucks cheaper and takes just as long unless you send it ground and ground cost more with the post office, they fit the large box for shipping with the post office just a tip .
1395  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 Zeus Miners (22-25MHS) on: June 24, 2016, 07:52:43 PM
sorry for this question but what is the power draw on these ? im thinking about getting one of them from you

power was around 550 to  600 each for the two i had at the time before i went back to BTC mining with S5s, now i do it all im still thinking of buying one, the price is right and the shipping wont be to bad.

hey forgot put up some Pictures are they red or black , color doesn't mater  performance wise just want a see one .
1396  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 Zeus Miners (22-25MHS) on: June 24, 2016, 07:46:21 PM
From the stated MH/S I suspect these are X6 models and not the older X3 units. I had a couple of them back in the day. Decent units for the time. Had to use quality 750 watt power supplies.

I did to at one time i had two sold them for 300 each made back then what they cost me when the S5 came out or around then when all the scrpt mining company's but one  turned out to be one big scam and they became thieves and the X6 is the later model same chip as the X3 .  all they did was under clock and under volts the X6 from a X3 it worked well before they started ripping others off with there so called 28 nm model that was suppose to top the A2 etc.

not asking to unmind you . whats wrong with  USB dongles if you using a hub , won't you need some kind usb plug on the end is my whole point. i use a hub with wires running to the hub from the miner is my point why i said any pi . so i hope it not just limited to one controller pi type then it's kind like bit main any way whatever comes I'll  adjust just adding feedback idc either way as long it does what it  suppose with less power and more hash and user friendly for every one and not hard to replace parts .
1399  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Community brainpan - please discuss and debate desirable features for a miner on: June 24, 2016, 05:43:04 PM
You can use any PI type if the software is written right i do it now with my Alchemist which comes with it own controller that is junk i use  rasp pi cubie boards orange pi etc or have tried them all they all  work with USB dongles the drivers are suppose to only work on  RPI but i knew different in most cases if it works on one it works on all of them if it's in USB dongle form these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009T2ZR6W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

i know that's script it's just a example any miner can do it . just adding that thought . and 500 watts to 1300 for a btc miner sounds good.

for fan control http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-12V-PWM-PC-CPU-Fan-Temperature-Control-Speed-Controller-CPU-High-Temp-Alarm-/181694032917?hash=item2a4dceec15:g:ffIAAOSwqu9VCZMW

i sent two to phillp to try he said in a round about way they work. how well no idea   just a idea to build from.
1400  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Where can I purchase a Power Cord for the Antminer S7? (USA) on: June 24, 2016, 08:09:52 AM
it's either this one
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CFP53XW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

or this one
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007O0EIRU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

also buy a cheap pdu http://www.ebay.com/itm/APC-AP7841-METERED-RACK-PDU-24-OUTLET-20-C13-4-C19-Power-distribution-strip-unit-/381505056743?hash=item58d3792fe7:g:uLgAAOSwFqJWhVeb

your better off then tying to wire it into the wall you might even mess it up sense you have no idea were to get the power cord

.i don't know much about that PSU i can match one  with more power for less then pay what they want .  sense you say you are aware you need a  220/240 line the plugs are a lot different then a 110/120 line.
