It would be better to create a new topic because the thread is not active anymore, or better read the old posts and maybe someone already answered your question. However, if you still insist on posting there and it's already been posted by someone else, then moderators will likely remove it.

What type of gift card do you plan to sell? If it's a crypto-related stuff like Binance and Coinbase gift card I think g2a is a great option look there are many sellers here https://www.g2a.com/best-deals/bitcoin-gift-cardsIf you want to start selling gift cards there check this guide " How To Sell". Fees are 10.8% + €0.35 it's included already on the final price of your product a bit high but the good thing is they do support bitcoin payment.

Is it possible to create a new wallet on electrum with a ledger seed?
Yes, you can create a new wallet using the seed phrase generated from the ledger wallet plus the passphrase but it's a BIP39 seed type. I don't know what exactly do you want to achieve if the seed is generated from the ledger and you are going to import it to Electrum you already compromise your wallet unless you are planning something. The guide you provided above doesn't have an air-gapped Ubuntu box or do you mean you are planning to use the seed phrase from the ledger and restore it into the Electrum wallet on Ubuntu OS? For me it's not safe it would be better to generate a new wallet and write them down on a piece of paper and do it offline or better burn Tails OS you can follow this guide below - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5354489.0Just make sure to install the latest Electrum and don't forget to verify it and then send all your funds to your new wallet.

The question is how? What is the security threat here?
The only problem is you didn't read the warning carefully there is no security threat mentioned in the warning but talks about privacy. Meaning if you send the whole BTC to your other wallet it compromises your privacy, not the security itself. However, if you send them to multiple addresses it increases your privacy.

I also noticed that if the page is refreshed during registration the image captcha doesn't change Is this a security problem or it is normal on this forum,?
If the images from the captcha do not change after refresh meaning the captcha you did recently is being cached but if you clear your browser cache it would replace with new updated cached data and you should see different images on the captcha. If your security is your concern then it won't affect your account security but if your problem is the images from the captcha and still the images didn't change then try the reload button check the image below where you can find the reload button.

Its hashing fine with the 2 good boards that are in there.
I posted here in an attempt to get the 3rd working.
I suggest check the hashboard physically to look for possible burnt parts that cause this issue if you found one you might need to hire a technician to replace it or do DIY. If you found nothing there are some basic things that you can do without a technician like cleaning the hashboard pins and if you have a soldering iron you can resolder all pins including the terminals on the busbar. Look at the image below to get my point.
|
|
|
I attempted to install a single good board and same thing. I assume its not possible to run these machines on a single board.
Instead of installing the broken hashboard better remove it and try to run the two working hashboard it should be work but if not then you will need to install a custom firmware like Braiins OS as suggested above to be able to bypasss this issue. If you don't know how to run the Braiins OS on the unit without SD card slot you can try OTG drive to boot Braiins OS check the link below. - https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404919472281-S19j-S19j-Pro-control-board-program-recovery-SD-card-flashing-

UPDATE:
I moved the hash board to a different slot and now slot #3 is not working so its definitely an issue with the hash board itself. There is zero corrosion. Everything still looks brand new.
I currently use NiceHash but I moved to F2pool and it made no difference.
Now we found the issue that the hashboard is broken it's not a software issue but a hardware issue. You can replace it with a new one but if you still want to repair the hashboard and you have some repair tools there is a guide on how to repair this hashboard Check this link below - https://www.zeusbtc.com/articles/information/3530-antminer-s19j-pro-hash-board-repair-guide

How do my logs look?
I can't make sense of it. lol
Honestly, I can't seems to find any errors in your logs. Can you try to run only one hashboard disconnect the two hashboard and swap cables and let see if the first hashboard will hash? Also, try to clean all terminals the cable, and the busbar it might have some corrosion/dust/rust so cleaning it might fix this issue. Can you tell us what pool do you mine and maybe the pool where you mine is currently offline?

If one transaction is confirmed but the other one is not funded to your wallet there is a big posibiity that is a bug the same as what I experienced. The only way you can fix this issue is by contacting them through their support. Try to report your issue using this email below - support@coinbase.com.

There is a possibility that the 1st hashboard is not connected properly. What I would like you to try is to replug all cables of the 1st hashboard and then try again.
Or if my suggestion do not work would you mind to share the whole kernel logs? Post it here but make sure to put them all inside the insert code tag before you post. So that we can troubleshoot the issue.

Blockchain is also known have poor support I heard someone before that their BTC was stuck on Blockchain exchange it takes 5 months before he got his BTC back but even if they give the BTC back the price of BTC is already dropped so much. My guess is they are going to do the same to you before they give you access or solve your case and can withdraw the BTC.
That is why I don't hold BTC in some exchanges it is not good for holding BTC there unless you are actively trading a small amount and then diversify them to reduce the risk.

I never heard of that site and I agree with the above it might be a scam site. So there is no way to recover your BTC from the thief.
Another thing is why you store your private key to KeePass they always have vulnerability issues like the news recently hackers can retrieve your master password in clear text. Always keep your private key on offline devices generating private key on Electrum or Bitcoin core are safer than using other sites that generate keys.
|
|
|
The owner of the site might be confused about the domain name he combines both bitcoin core and Electrum. This is not the only phishing site of Electrum there are many, people who already know the exact URL/website would not fall into this trap except for newbies that do not know how to verify, scan and check the downloaded Electrum.
I don't think using a plugin such as Ublock would help much but for me knowledge is the best to avoid phishing sites.

I had the same case a long time ago the text size was changed I tried to change any font settings on the Chrome browser but the result is the same. I also changed my phone settings about fonts but only phone UI fonts were changed. It seems that we can't change the font size while editing a post maybe forum fonts are fixed?
Edit: It seems the Zoom works to me under 3 dots it changes text size but it is still pretty small it is likely the same as Zoom through your two fingers.

I can't seem to find someone here who tells their story and I don't think you need someone about Bitcoin mining stories because all people who mine Bitcoin are almost have the same story. Try this one below and maybe you can get some guide about mining where authors tell their stories about mining Bitcoin. - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5353061.0

I don't know exactly what your unit problem is but if you can paste the whole logs here maybe we can find the issue. Just don't forget to put all logs inside the insert code tag it's a # button that you can find when editing a post.
Anyway, I have a few suggestions maybe the issue is high temp so make sure that your room is well-ventilated and make sure that you bring hot air out of the room. Another suggestion try to upgrade the firmware to the latest version.

tried following your advice but the 1.35 4lines wants a chain code and a root key but i have like a really long password with symbols i cant input under "chain code" area?is it a different option?
No, I guess you did it wrong after you paste your root key and check the "encrypt wallet" after restore the wallet you should be able to put any password you want. If the guide above that I posted didn't help then I suggest check the video guide from Armory support from this link below. - https://www.bitcoinarmory.com/tutorials/armory-basics/restore-wallet/About chain code, it should be included in your paper backup if not, or if you don't have it try to restore the wallet on version 1.35c(unencrypted).

That is not a forum issue but it's a common issue even on other websites when accessing you can sometimes get this error and I think the cause may be due to an overloaded Tor network.
I can't find any possible solution to this but to reset your identity or wait for a few hours it will fix by itself.

|
No one would do that and there is no guide here on how to create custom firmware for this unit and I'm sure no one will share a guide. If your problem is the fan and power control there are some modded firmware that you can find on the forum with that features. Sample Braiins OS you can find their official thread from this link below - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5036844.0
