1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Gambling Platforms with Issues. on: July 03, 2020, 08:13:16 PM
I'm not familiar with those gambling platforms that you listed there and I guess those aren't popular platforms so they ended up having issues.

Instead create a list of gambling sites with issues, why not create a list of trusted gambling sites?

IMO most (probably all) of gambling platforms have encounter problem/issues at least once time. Some of them also already resolved when the support read the complain from gamblers. My suggestion you need to update your thread often and regularly if you find accusations/issues regarding gambling platforms on this forum or other forums.

The idea of creating a list of gambling platform with issue is basically great as it can help people to know which sites to avoid.
Talking about list of trusted gambling platform, I do believe there are many topics about this thing already.
Problem/issues does exist in almost every site, agree with it obviously.
But the main important thing is about how big the issue and how the sites deal with it.

By that, you can determine what gambling platform you should pursue. For me, it is easy to find trusted gambling sites and it is hard for me to find gambling platforms with issue. This doesn't mean that I'm always using fraud gambling platforms. I always do some research first and know the reputable gambling platforms before accessing it.

Problems are not that easily to detect or notice but once it affect your gambling experience that's the time where you will treat it as a big deal. There are some gambling platforms which are fixing their issues immediately. That will make them a good gambling platform it they are listening to the feedback of customers.
Trusted gambling platforms are already in everywhere, they have bunch of ads in this forum. Actually I'm not familiar with those gambling platforms OP listed and this thread was helpful especially to beginners who started a journey in the gambling industry. Sooner or later, this thread will serve as a basis, we can use if ever those gambling platforms implemented promos and attracted a lot of users, not to destroy their reputation but to serve as awareness.

Also, it is his concept and idea to create a thread about gambling platform with issues so I guess there's no problem with that.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: July 03, 2020, 07:51:23 PM
Each test performed must be accurate for the participants of the game as well as those involved in the event. They should also avoid going to or visiting places where there is a critical or confirmed case. So they have to stay in their home court first and the only league they can do now. Here we are, again with new cases due to travel authorization and also because of irresponsible people.
Agree, those who will participate in any sports event should be tracked and prohibits going to any places that have a lot of confirmed cases.

It's a hard process, after the sports tournament, they should be monitored for 1 week or more so if they become positive on COVID-19, there will be a fast action and to those who got contact with the person.
Mass testing should be implemented to all of those people who're involved in the event which are athletes, staff, and many more.
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Potential Valorant Esports betting sites on: July 03, 2020, 07:39:38 PM
It will be added if it gets popular like CSGO but we've seen other games fail to rank due to variety of games already out there with the same type. I guess it will be tough to compete against core games that has been out there and manage to gain community and supporters. And depending on demand sports betting site cannot randomly add games without number of people requesting it.
Actually, it's very popular now, the same hype with CS:GO.

Riot is good at advertising their games through cinematics and it's very effective since many Asian people are now playing it. Most of the CS:GO players are from EU and some in NA, while Valorant dominated all of the regions and very popular in streaming platforms like Twitch. Some CS:GO ex-pros are now pro-player again in Valorant like Skadoodle who's a teammate of shroud during CS:GO days in C9.

Well, it is a new game and they really slammed CSGO since they released at the time that SG is still the meta and CSGO pros are so mad about it since teams are spamming this gun. As Valorant release was a success, CSGO nerfed the gun. A streamer said reaction to this is that, "now they will be doing that because of Valorant". Take note though, its been some time before they nerfed the SG.

Another thing is that it is an easier game than CS so people would actually dig this, for the moment.
Yes, I noticed that too.

It's much easier than CS:GO even they have complex mechanics by putting skills on the characters. It's not that really hard to 1-tap the enemy through headshot, you just need an IPS monitor and good mouse for fast reaction. So definitely, it'll be one of those eSports betting that will hit the market and people will like this game and bet on this.
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 03, 2020, 07:30:20 PM
So it's official that this fight has been rescheduled as they want to have a crowd to generate more income  Smiley. I hope that by December, vaccine is already developed so thing will get back to normal. not just in boxing but to all other sports as well.

https://www.boxingscene.com/fury-wilder-3-arum-crossing-fingers-he-crowd-on-december-19--149905
Kinda expected though that this fight will be rescheduled because of what is happening in US right now Cheesy.

Lets just hope that at that time, a vaccine has been made although the minimum time frame for a new vaccine to be created is around 12-18 months so there is still a bit chance that a vaccine can't be created by December. Hoping to have a new virus by December although I'm not expecting Cheesy.

I am not optimistic about a vaccine created and released by December. Also, if there is a vaccine on December, I hope it will not be made in China hehehe. Do not be the test guinea pigs.

Probably the vaccine will came from EU or US, I reckon. Anyways, I'm optimistic that in the next quarter, at least a potential vaccine could be developed so that everything will be back to normal. As far as the fight goes, it's the most anticipated fight, and lets hope that a fight could be made at the end of the year or early 2021.

I don't think the vaccine will be produce this year, most of the news or reports I read online saying that the vaccine is expected to be available early next year, and also I haven't read any news  a certain country guarantees a vaccine release this year, even Trump did not promise this year.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/05/trump-says-us-has-2-million-coronavirus-vaccine-does-ready-to-go.html
Quote
U.S. officials and scientists are hopeful a vaccine to prevent Covid-19 will be ready in the first half of 2021.
The current pandemic is a very dangerous virus, it really requires a lot of time before it will be developed.

So maybe Q1 or Q2 next year, there's a possibility that they will produce a vaccine for us to be COVID-free. Meanwhile, in China, there are vaccine trials happening right now and I hope it's the solution for this pandemic so we can continue the sports event like Fury vs Wilder III that has postponed recently.

1385  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FreeBitcoin Bot - What do you think about this tool?? on: July 03, 2020, 02:44:54 PM
I have one general opinion of all bots, I don't trust them, I don't think they will do work for you and you don't need them. This very bot isn't exception.
If you ask me don't use bots, especialy not in gambling because that might produce effect just the opposite from wanted, bots can't think and make decisions instead of you and instead of winning you might end up losing.
Bots are reliable sometimes too if they will do an easy task. It's like uploading a simple algorithm on the bot with just addition and subtraction on it. But if the bot requires a lot of understanding, meaning, requiring a lot of complex algorithms and computations, there's a possibility that it might produce an opposite result. The more complex algorithm it has, it should have a lot of data, the lesser the data, the more undesirable result will occur.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOX prepared to add virtual fans and crowd noise to NFL broadcasts on: July 03, 2020, 02:13:57 PM
People are not that dumb. Obviously, they know it's virtual. Do you really think it will lead to "fake feelings" as you mentioned lol?

It's just that they want to add some spice in the new normal scene.

I don't see anything wrong with that. Let them just do what they want to add entertainment to household viewers.

I totally agree with you. Over the last week I watched several football matches and I can notice that without the noise of the stadium, the game looks very pale (even when top clubs play). Even playing on the console looks more exciting and atmospheric than matches with empty stands, so I support these measures.

I really can't imagine sports events without the fans, the cheering, and the energy they bring to the field. So for me, it's ok for them to add those noises though what I want is not the artificial noises you hear in youtube videos but rather all the combines noises of virtual people or people watching from their computers on the internet. It's good for the players to hear that they are hearing real voices from real people and not just pre-recorded ones.
It's the same feeling when you're playing NBA 2k on PlayStation.

But if the SFX of virtual fans and crowd noise is just repetitive, it will become boring. I hope there are different kinds of SFX and it'll adjust depends on the game's situation especially when the scores don't have huge gap in last quarter. Athletes really need motivation on playing and the fans are one of it so it'll be a great help not only to watchers in TV and online but to players also.
1387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some college students in Alabama bet money to see who gets COVID19 first on: July 03, 2020, 02:02:41 PM
Jackass? It's a dumb thing to do, risking your life just for the money.

After you won through bets, it will go to your medical expenses 'cause you're now suffering from short-breathing and positive in COVID-19.

The worst part is, it will spread into your home and neighborhood that will put your whole community at risk. Also, they're violating the government's order like social distancing which should always be implemented to avoid contact in a person who has COVID.

1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: July 02, 2020, 11:53:34 PM
Well at some point, even the top ratings with 2800 are being defeated by 2700 ratings.
There are recent tournaments that GM Magnus Carlsen wasn't on the finals. Same with other online games, there are teams that you knew are undefeatable but being defeated by a rising team, those scenarios can always happen.

Yep, this is more like exceptions, nor like a rule. Also, another problem of chess championship frequency (as i said above) - they're not so often as it would be needed for active betting.
Actually there's a tournament again in chess.
  • The Chessable Masters
There are plenty of chess tournaments that happened in just 3 months. Meanwhile, in eSports betting, it takes a few months for another betting.

I love chess games, in fact, I downloaded it on my phone to give some room playing online while in quarantine.
For there will be a place where we can include this in online/sports betting it might get interesting for oldies to participate as well or those chess lovers will get into it.
I know how to play chess but I'm not a huge fan. My father is the one who's really into it. And like you, he also asked us to download a chess game on his phone. Every night, he'd play it.

If it'll be on sports betting, I think it'll be also patronized by those who like the game (in our country, it'll be the oldies most likely and those huge fans). However, if compared to other sports like basketball or football, or boxing, it's not that big.

on our city i see older guys playing chess ln the sidewalk but with betting allowed and they also challenge anyone with thier chess puzzle trick , the one that can solve it will win some cash.

older people are more into chess than youngsters , idk why maybe because young people find it boring ? now younger generation only like to play thier gadgets and games onto it.   its time that we need to promote or give more attention to chess in the form of comepetition or tournaments .
Playing chess needs big patience, and not all people or gamblers can do.
Besides that, we need to have a strategy to combine or manage the step of every round.
Yes, not many younger people want to play chess and them better to play another game from their mobile phones.
I think the reason is the chess game needs a long time to play and they don't have the patience to finish the games.
Well, most of the gamblers nowadays bet on the side where there are many bets. So I don't think strategy always matter on betting who'll gonna win the game. Especially on eSports betting, even I knew the capabilities of that team that they can win, sometimes I bet on where many people bet. I can say that betting without strategy is also applicable to chess, like betting to the most popular one if you don't have any idea who'll gonna win.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: July 02, 2020, 11:32:55 PM

I think all the matches are treated like that because we don't want the spread to continue and we as big sports fans will certainly take advantage of virtual online as they watch the game. I think this will become a habit if we continue.

My area also applies the same thing so whatever we have to enjoy to watch it and believe me it will return to normal after everything has recovered we will be free to go see the match.

Even the American Got talent has no audience when I watched it earlier I think every show and the game match will have this kind of setting since the pandemic still ongoing. I'm fine with this since we have lots of sources to watch some sport matches and game shows. You're right after everything is fine, we can watch every match we want and go to the cinemas too.

In Belgium casinos and cinemas opened yesterday but offcourse the amount of people is limited. In august, the new football season will start but at this point all matches will be played without audience.
Many of the establishments opened right now with the implementation of social distancing when entering. But I guess it is still not safe unless your country is a COVID-free already and have a vaccine. It's better to bet on online casinos and just stay at home and watch movies on Netflix. There's a bunch of things we can do on the Internet right now. So I'll not bet my life just to have fun and watch movies, I rather go home and watch on streaming platforms/
1391  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: July 02, 2020, 10:54:48 PM
Not possible life without bank because many people need to borrow money from the bank and make their business, not available for borrowing in bitcoin and altcoin and then not have institution available for every one could borrow bitcoin or altcoin, now day many country have several bank kinds and give good service for every one to save their money.
Yes its not possible for now because banks has a participation to our economy to boom. Its like a cycle giving and taking. So crypto and banks will co exist and that would be beneficial for us right? There's no need to get rid the banks because its essential part of our lives and economy.
Banks aren't that important for those persons which are only dealing in cryptocurrencies but if someone wants cash then they somehow always need a bank in the process. Also for the people who doesn't know about bitcoins and what cryptocurrencies are, they always need banks and are an essential part of their lives. There should be a way devised to remove the necessity of banks for selling and buying cryptocurrencies in general. If a project is developed to solve this problem then I bet the ICO will raise tremendous amount of funds.
Well, those who invested or dealing in cryptocurrency only will need banks soon. When BTC hits ATH, they will convert it now into fiat and where do you think they will put that huge money? definitely in banks. Banks always serve as a great part, especially in our economy. It has a lot of advantages and makes it very important that must exist in a community.
1392  Economy / Economics / Re: The Covid19 Curve is Flattening on: July 02, 2020, 10:38:57 PM
COVID-19 case still continues to increase in some areas just like in our place, the spread is getting worse that even some establishments resume their business operations but still, the sales are not looking good. This pandemic certainly affects the stock market, lives of the people, and more on economic capability. But despite these things, I saw a positive impact on the online business which we can find out an increase of online users and business that brought something in good. And perfectly a time for a crypto to be recognized and people will adopt in this.
Yeah I've noticed too how many online projects has risen during this time and crypto got a lot more attention than it usually gets.
We still can't say that this is the "flat" part of the hill, it may occur that there will be next even more greater wave of it, but we hope for the best of course.
If corona virus will continue to spread even more, our economy will also continue to strive hard in order not to be totally shut down. People are already encouraged to work not just offline but even online because it seemed that online opportunities have opened up more in this time of pandemic. People have become stronger now to face the crisis even if it means facing another incoming wave of corona virus.
Here in my country, our government wants to take advantage of those who are earning money on online platforms like the marketplace of Facebook by putting tax on it.

It's obvious that online work is one of the easiest and safest solutions to survive this pandemic.
Our economy is having a downfall, we have a lot of debts, it's because of being incompetent in our government.
1393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Industry and Cryptocurrency! on: July 02, 2020, 10:26:05 PM
I remember getting BTC for in-game achievements playing Lineage nearly a decade ago. Stupid me spent it all on a cheap-ass X7 mouse (it's still with me tho)
Atleast you've enjoyed that mouse and last for many years. Don't regret, people like you are lucky enough to earned so much BTC at start but those people who hold it for long term are the luckiest.
I don’t play video games very often, but my boyfriend adores this activity. Sometimes I just play minecraft and it’s really cool that by playing the game you can earn Bitcoins. I play and thereby make money, it's exciting!
No one can beat the fact that you're earning BTC and at the same time having fun playing games.

That is actually the perks with games integrated with crypto. Most of them are enjoying to the point that they won't know the long hours that they are spending with this activity. Gaming industry is really a good industry to inject crypto. In some way, some of the games have their own currencies already. So just switching it to bitcoin or other alts won't do any big difference. The difference is that they can convert it to their fiat, so in the process they are earning money instead of just spending money on it. Which is a very attractive feature for those gamers.
Yeah, additional to it that most of the gamblers nowadays are gamers. They want to earn money in the way they can bet to their favorite teams and at some point, it's a support.

So the integration of bitcoin to gaming platforms will definitely hit the market but some aren't really capable of it like steam, who don't like its volatility.
The gaming industry is very huge now the same as cryptocurrency so it'll be a good match.
1394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun Facts about Bitcoins on: July 02, 2020, 09:22:34 PM
Nice thread dude. I'm don't know some of the facts that you stated there.
I though that btc uptime was 100%. it was not working? why?
5 btc faucet is my dream...

Are you referring to the faucet site?

Probably yes. Faucet sites were definetely one of the funniest things connected with Bitcoin. What a waist of time and efforts for almost nothing and so many people were involved clicking like crazy. Some even really thought they can make some real Bitcoins.
True, I spent almost a year claiming free BTC in faucets and ended up in a scam. It's definitely a waste of time and effort claiming those free BTC that should be spent on other things.

Even the cloud mining sites that literally give free BTC, it's also a scam and some are just ponzi.

So if ever there's a friend of mine wasting time here, I always warned them it might be a scam and suggesting to go trading.
1395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are happy only when the price goes up? on: July 02, 2020, 08:59:31 PM
Many people around have either invested way more than they could chew (overinvested) or missed their chance to dump when it was at its ATH price.

They get devastated emotionally whenever the price moves downwards.

Exactly. The "FOMO" sentiment has caused people to buy more Bitcoin than expected with the hopes of becoming rich quick. But you and I know, that's not what Bitcoin is about. Those who "follow the money" will be eager for prices to go all the way to the moon in a blink of an eye. Only true believers of Bitcoin will invest on it regardless of market conditions (either good or bad).

It's normal for anyone who invested into Bitcoin to become happy when the price goes up on the market. After all, you'll be earning some profit in the process. What's important is to see Bitcoin not as a speculative asset, but as a real currency or store of value you can use for mainstream finance. As long as you have a good mindset, you'll be successful will all of your Bitcoin endeavors. People who've never invested in Bitcoin, are willing prices to go down in order to grab some coins at discounted prices. The market will always have weak hands (sellers) and strong hands (buyers) altogether. No matter what Bitcoin's price will be in the future, there will always be someone who will buy it or sell it on the market. Believe it or not, the huge volatility in price provides many profit opportunities not possible with traditional stocks. As long as there are people who continue to patronize Bitcoin, nothing should go wrong. Just my thoughts Grin
Well, I guess I'm one of those you're referring to, investing even the bitcoin goes high or low. Only few people are getting success on that kind of mindset, they thought it's a stepping stone for getting rich but the reality is, it's not that easy like now. People are expecting another ATH or price pump but it still on $9k, It can't even resist the $10k and we need to wait for more months.

Being happy is already common especially those who invested a lot last year and waited for this bitcoin halving thingy. The majority of investors of bitcoin wanted to have a price pump, those who are unhappy, they did not grab the opportunity to invest at a low price.
1396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of Americans still don't know what Bitcoin is on: July 02, 2020, 08:06:24 PM
If that's the case in your country then what more in the 3rd world countries? Only a few of us know what bitcoin and its capabilities.
There is nothing to be surprised. Still there are a lot of people around the world even did not hear about Bitcoin and American people are no different of course. Even those who heard about bitcoin to them it's a scheme or something which will pop up soon.

We are sill in the early stage of bitcoins.
Yes I agree, there is nothing surprising about this one. Many people still do not know about bitcoin. Here in the Philippines only few people know more about bitcoin. Because of the fake news many people do not believe in bitcoin because they think that bitcoin is totally a hack or a scam. And same as American people Filipinos are also hesitant when it comes to bitcoin. There are people who are blinded about the real thing about bitcoin. These may also affect the success path of bitcoin. Few are not supporting because of the fake news.
Yeah, There's a recent issue here in our country that involves bitcoin, and people thought it's a scam. Also, many of us are not aware of technological advancement so they don't really care about Bitcoin at all. They buy smartphones just for communications, that's all. Traditional minds always thought that they should stick to fiat and have a mindset that it's very dangerous.

Sad to say but in my country, the curve is not flattening. It keeps increasing day by day and the government keeps blaming the people even the president have granted a special powers to COVID-19 here, nothing happens. Corruption still occurs even there's a pandemic. The worst part is, they keep requesting loans and we don't know where it goes.

I don't blame myself if there's something that I've done wrong. Having a positive mindset, I always ended up thinking that it's a lesson learned and there will be another opportunity that will come to my life. Blaming yourselves on losses will just stress you out and that's not healthy to your mental health. At the end of the day, it is just a game.

I wonder who's that 1 user who voted for $9k, he's correc tho because at this moment, it's stable on $9k mark.
it looks like the price of bitcoin is really stable at $ 9k. Well, I predict that the next step could be $ 11k, it's just that until now, we don't know when that potential really came. in fact, so far, the price of bitcoin has broken through to $ 10k before returning to $ 9k.
expect bitcoin prices to go up soon leaving the price of $ 9k.
you've made this decision according to..?
I'm just curious, because I can understand popular people throwing some predictions in their social media accounts - even if they are wrong they just've brought attention (which is good for crypto).
On the other hand your words has no value for bitcoin popularity whatsoever, then you gotta be sharing it because you've seen some valuable info which lead you to the conclusion
Chill out, everyone can predict and there's an option for you to ignore. Even some predictions of popular investors can be wrong because it's only a prediction. Every investment is a risk, people also hoped for an increase after BTC halving but nothing happen and it's still on the $9k.
