1421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 28, 2022, 06:28:09 AM

My other bet was on the Warriors ML vs Timberwolves, after the Wolves lost to Charlotte Hornets a few days ago, I knew it should be a W for the Warriors, regardless of them playing a back to back game, The 20 points first quarter lead by Andrew Wiggins and the splash brothers was enough for them to bank on for the entirety of the game.

Congrats on that win, Warriors finally had a very convincing win on the road, I think that was their first win if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, they made a big statement with that huge win, and looks like the Wolves will continue to struggle, just a bad move getting Gobert I believe.
1422  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is the only crypto you should BUY on: November 27, 2022, 09:51:00 PM
For now I do not make Bitcoin the main choice of investment, if the total may only be around 14% of the total assets of cryptocurrencies, most of them are Altcoins, this is because the market conditions are very difficult and to get greater profits in my opinion is with investment in Altcoins, while I make Bitcoin as a long -term investment
Hypes are mostly done in altcoins and many people make money from it, unlike in Bitcoin where the price is just almost stable. But if you are aiming for long-term investment, Bitcoin is what you should invest in.

I can just remember last year that a particular shitcoin spike more than 1000%, it is really a big profit for the holders if they had sold it. And this is why investors couldn't go away from investing altcoins just like you. It is a practical investment, yet it corresponds to very high risk.
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 27, 2022, 11:53:57 AM
Bolts ML @2.78 vs Magnolia

I would have picked the same if I was able to bet on this game. We are in the 3rd quarter already and the game is quite close, Meralco already leading by 1 point McDaniels does not have his usual numbers yet but as for the team play, Meralco is doing well, good luck mate.

All of the sudden it has become a blowout win by the Magnolia. There's no way Meralco will be able to comeback now that Magnolia already has 20 points lead. There's only one full quarter left, and Meralco is not SMB or Ginebra who can have a big come back to win. Anyway, it's not over yet but the chance of Meralco winning is very low now.

Yeah, I was surprised because of a big run by the Magnolia, that 3rd quarter was full domination, 47-23, what kind of defense Meralco had in that quarter, it looks like they have no chance to beat good teams despite having a good import, or Magnolia was just lucky in the 3rd quarter.

Congratulating the Magnolia backers, this is your night.  Grin

That third quarter run by the Hotshots made the difference that cost the game for the Bolts and now their chance of qualifying for the playoffs is in danger and they might be eliminated if ROS wins its last game.

No regrets on betting for the Bolts and if ever there is another game like that where they are the underdog, i will still go with them considering that McDaniels is still their import.

Ginebra vs NorthPort are playing at the moment wherein the latter leads by 6 points with 1 minute to go in the first quarter. I'm looking for a window to bet for the Kings on this one if the odds for them to win will be attractive.

Northporth are still on the lead but I'm not seeing Ginebra will lose in this game. Ginebra loves to run in the 2nd half, so it's okay if Northport will lead the first half because it's 100% sure that Ginebra will come back and win the game.
1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 27, 2022, 10:46:34 AM
Westbrook was bloody, never seen him in this incident before, but the good thing is that the Lakers still won and Westbrook is okay now. It was indeed a high scoring game, but unfortunately, Westbrook unable to use that advantage because he only score 11 points.

Westbrook only get less ball time because Bron do the most on this match. I believe Lebron is starting to step up now again for his team since people already doubting his ability due to there lose streak while his team sometimes won without him. Spurs is not that strong team but they still manage to fight Lakers on this high score match despite Lakers has veterans star while Spurs is just composed with bunch of rookies and mid range stats players.

Lakers needs to thanks Spurs because without them, they will not gonna get there 3 wins out of there current 7 wins.  Cheesy

haha, you seemed right because they have 3 games with the Spurs and they won all those games. I'm still not convinced that the Lakers have already improved or have adjusted well. Lakers next game is against the Pacers, I think they can handle this team and they'll continue winning.
1425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins safe? on: November 27, 2022, 07:36:46 AM
That might be the case but if you could just use the most used stablecoin I think you will be fine, but always diversify your wealth that's in stablecoin into some various stablecoin that way you'll be safe from sudden crash of stablecoin therefore you could never just lost your wealth overnight.
I think the key is how you manage this wealth in this case, everything has risk, even fiat money still have fluctuation and even gold could lose its value.
Well, the best thing to do is not to focus on stablecoins but rather make it spread to different coins - Bitcoin and some altcoins in order to avoid high risk. Though I say that we suddenly lost our trust in these stablecoins due to their past issues that we never expect, however it affects us mentally. Actually, it is too hard to bring back the trust when there is already a bad history but yes, I still consider some of these stablecoins can be trusted. The market is soo tricky and we need to choose coins for investment wisely.
1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Good the bad and the ugly side of airdrops on: November 26, 2022, 11:30:48 PM
You can never see the good side of airdrops now OP, that is what I can say.
I know it was freely given and sometimes by fulfilling a few tasks but the question is if this is really worth spending your time. As you can see, most are saying airdrops are useless and a waste of time, and I really agree with that base on experience.

I won't stop people from participating in airdrops but there is one thing I would say - never expect valuable airdrops anymore nor you can earn a lot from it, unlike 5 years ago.
1427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rainbow Indicator drop on all time low on: November 26, 2022, 12:33:24 PM

Thinking of that rainbow at the end of the edge --it seems it is going down. I don't know this rainbow pattern but it is the first time that I have heard of it. I think too much about the future price but as long as I believed in bitcoin I know there is always an all-time high in the price. Buying in a DCA way will always have an advantage and storing the value in a long term. Each of us has a belief and future insight into the market price, believe on our own and hold bitcoin in a long term --there is no pattern or technical analysis needed.
I'd never check the market chart every day, not even the rainbow indicator because we have seen yesterday still the same as we can see today. Honestly, it only gives us a headache if we keep monitoring the price because it was too hard to see or even impossible to see prices moving high. So, instead of keeping ourselves updated better keep ourselves busy with other stuff. My bag is already full, so I guess that is enough already.
The rise will come soon...
1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 26, 2022, 09:22:37 AM
We have two games today but the first game which will be this 4:30 PM is not that interesting to watch, so let's proceed to the last game which is the battle of Beermen vs TNT.
If you bet on Phoenix spread then you might find this game interesting because Phoenix is currently leading with 11 points.
I wouldn't be surprise if Phoenix will have a blowout win after this.

Seems like you are right, no chance for a comeback here because Phoenix already had a decent lead.
The score now is 62 - 25 with less than 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, look what kind of offense the DYIP has, that's very low for almost 2 quarters.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: November 26, 2022, 08:53:07 AM
So maybe if he beat Plant worst than Canelo beat him, he might gain some respect and could potentially face Alvarez in the future.

Benavidez is really red-hot in taking down Caleb Plant in a much worst way when the latter got beaten by Canelo.

Reading some news, Benavidez is taking that personally meaning his eagerness of him to put Plant in the worst loss possible will really be hard pushed.

Just thinking about what kind of worst beating it will be in the mind of Benavidez. Going back to when Caleb Plant faces Canelo Alvarez, he lose in an 11th Round TKO and the majority of those rounds turned Plant into a punching bag.

He needs to have a better performance than Canelo, maybe not letting this fight pass 6 rounds. Early KO would make some noise and who knows, he'll be able to fight Canelo soon, that would be fun you know but I would still back Canelo knowing he is still in his prime.

Well, that's easier said than done because Caleb Plant was also a solid fighter, he was able to last in the fight against Canelo who is a superstar.  David Benavidez maybe undefeated with 23 KOs from 26 fights but Caleb was also undefeated when he fought Canelo, I think both of these fighters are not yet on the level of Canelo.
1430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will win, FTX or BINANCE? on: November 25, 2022, 02:22:28 PM
it looks like binance will win easily because FTX was proven to get a hack a few days ago, already some people have experienced asset theft after updating its application even the old application. I think as long as binance can keep her safe she will be as long as her best can be.
if we can only just do assumptions, then FTX will become guilty but it was different when it comes to court. A lot of things needed to present in court, documents, etc in order to make someone guilty and take responsibility. Since they are one of the big exchanges in the crypto market, dealing with them is not easy and the process will take so long.
Might we can say it was FTX but many people had a feeling about conspiracy.
1431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The sole difference is capital. on: November 25, 2022, 01:52:04 PM
Capital is a major part of trading but not the only one. It in fluences the profit that comes in the loss that may occur when the market is very poor. Huge capitals attract huge profits when the bull is present, but when the bear is around the corner you smell a great loss if greed sets in.

Capital measures your possible profit and losses.
Huge capital can be if huge risk as well but that was not the mean thing in trading because the real player is how you manage your fund and the strategies used. Because no matter how huge is your capital if mismanage and never have control of it, losses can be possible in end. So, if you put a huge amount into trading be sure that you already have a backup with knowledge and skill otherwise, you will no longer see your money back in your pocket anymore.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: November 25, 2022, 12:53:57 PM
-cut-
That means that oddsmakers think there is 64% chance of Davis winning while giving Garcia a 36% chance.
I will agree with these odds and bet for Tank.

Compared to Garcia, his combos and movement seem way more composed and technical, and being a southpaw doesn't hurt his changes. While Garcia seem to rely on his natural unpolished talent, and just raw aggressive fast style, using surprisingly quick and powerful attacks even as a defence. Even though those look clumsy compared to Tank, he seem to get ton of power under them somehow.

My guess is that Garcia's style of defence won't work agaisnt technically skilled combos by Tank. Garcia's aggressive style is intimidating but very much defeatable and while his height and reach seem to do add to that and give him confidence, it's all appearances and something that can be taken away fast.

If we are going to be in the technical side, I will say that Tank is more polished, but if we are talking about raw talent, Garcia could be the man here. So it's close but yeah, if the odd markers are going for Tank at 64% then could be true.

Nevertheless, Garcia has been asking for this fight years ago and in several interviews, prior to this one that he will going to beat and knock Tank Davis out. So let's see if that confidence of his will be enough when they face in the ring because he will be the underdog.

I don't feel that Garcia is the underdog because if you look at his fights, he is still very dominant just like Davis. So I view this fight as an even fight, but of course, Bookies are just doing their job so they have to make someone the favorite and the other is the underdog. Anyway, if you bet on Ryan Garcia, I think you should bet now as odds might change as the fight is getting closer.
1433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 25, 2022, 12:25:00 PM
Yes, Thurman is Crawford is going to be huge, it will be the same as Crawford vs Porter and bigger than Crawford vs Ugas. A

True, Crawford did not dominate Porter although he won the fight, so we can expect that Crawford will have a tougher fight against Thurman because IMO, Thurman is way better than Porter. In terms of stamina, I believe Thurman still has it, so I'm not really sure if what the majority think will happen, I guess we are going to see an upset.

Thurman had shown the world that he is really better than Porter.  He beats the younger Porter via a unanimous decision.  That is enough to say that Thurman is better than Porter.  With regards to Spence vs. Porter, Spence did knock down porter but their fight is decided via split position which makes me think that if Porter has not been KD in that fight, Porter could have won the match. And about Crawford and Porter, Crawford won the fight via TKO in round 10, Crawford is way better technically against Porter, he read Porter's movement and was just toying with Porter on the early rounds.  See how Crawford smiles and laugh whenever they clash and clinch.  So I think Crawford is a better boxer than Thurman and I believe even if compared to Spence.

But the world of boxing believe that Spence is better than Thurman, that's why it's very exciting to watch this game since Spence will have to fight a good contender in his division, and ex champ who would try his way to be a champion again. If Spence will lose this fight, Crawford will certainly be so happy as for sure he will get the opportunity to fight Thurman.
1434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you believe in Litecoin? on: November 24, 2022, 09:48:15 PM
Will still be good but I'd say that it will follow the path of Bitcoin in terms of price action. There might be some news around that they developed that privacy upgrade of MimbleWimble for their technology so that's a plus to consider. I believe Litecoin has still space for this industry but with fast acceleration in technology it might behind in the competition.
Indeed, Litecoin remains as one of the valuable assets in the crypto market. Many people are still using their platform but because of the market competition, sometimes they will be rejected. However, I'd see the developers working on it to remain competitive and improve their services. But what actually they need is to have market promotions. Many projects grow up because they are aggressive to expose their project in the community which I see it was effective enough.
1435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im looking For good signals channels on: November 24, 2022, 09:29:04 PM
I still see that OP wanted to push himself and is willing to take risks. Indeed it was his choice and we don't have control over it.
Well, just to be aware that signals groups are mostly scams, it really makes you lose in the long run in partnerships. Honestly, many people fall into these scam tricks, might those people are fallen into the wrong groups but can be possible it happen to you personally OP. So, before trusting any of them make sure you have also done a background check. Goodluck...
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 24, 2022, 12:11:16 PM
My personal take. This fight will happen since this is a big fight and should be very easy for Spence. Spence should be able to stop this past-prime version of Thurman or at least win an easy unanimous decision if he wants to stay safe.
At first glance I see Thurman continuing to practice to anticipate and hone his skills, if Thurman & Spence officially box in the ring in the future, Thurman understands quite well some of Errol Spence's attacks on his opponent.

I remember that at that time Thurman had refused Spence's offer, but if you look at the events that have happened between the two of them, it is clear whether this boxing is official or not depends on Errol Spence's decision, if he hadn't made fun of or held a grudge against Thurman a while ago.

Some experts and boxing experts predict, if Errol Spence forgets what happened between the two and Errol Spence doesn't hold grudges and is selfish in this boxing, of course he will get the best ticket to fight Thurman in the future, that's all if Spence doesn't change his mind.

I know that prime Thurman is capable of beating Spence. We'll see mate if Thurman's fire returns to its former glory days. He isn't that old but he needs hunger and motivation in order to beat Spence.

I heard the rumors before but I haven't paid much attention. But I did follow Thurman a lot during championship days. Thurman from the past was so hungry, eager, and determined. I actually like him when he was being honest and verbally threw offensive remarks to his own handlers (PBC and Showtime) and to Floyd Mayweather jr. who kept the belts hostage from mandatories, ranked 1 contenders, and Thurman as then the WBA regular champion. Thurman was obviously mad and disgruntled as to why he isn't getting a shot at the real belts. I am not even sure if Spence's challenge was for real and at that time he ain't a champion either so Thurman won't get anything if he wins. And Thurman was right, if you want to be the best then why wasn't Spence challenging Mayweather at that time.

This is the same scenario right now, overdue title shots for the next generation of prospects; WBA regular champion Eimantas Stanionis and top 1 ranked contenders Vergil Ortiz and Boots Ennis. The WBA now mandated both Stanionis and Ortiz to face each other and the winner gets the Super WBA belt held by Spence. I doubt it happens though, why would Stanionis face a mandatory when he is already the regular champ, he should get Spence right away. The same situation for Ortiz, he gets nothing fighting Stanionis, it's a fake belt. I don't think Spence would want to fight these young undefeated contenders that are too risky, he rather move up and try to become a 2 division champion for his legacy.

Nah, I don't think that hunger was lost from him, he is still the same Thurman I know, the only difference now is he is not anymore undefeated, but losing to Pacman is still okay because he was an 8th time world champion and Spence did not even beat Pacman although he beat the fighter who defeated Pacman.

I'm still rooting for Thurman this time, he knows what is at stake here, it's his opportunity to be a champion again, so he will certainly do everything to win.
1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 24, 2022, 11:57:29 AM
It isn't a sad news because they knew it from the start that there will be only one naturalized player that can play for each team.
2 is better than 1 like they always say, and Clarkson isn't always available since he's also playing in the NBA so we will expect some conflict of schedules, so a secondary naturalized player like Brownlee

Yes of course, but if they can both play the better, hehe.. anyway, our naturalized player will not be tired because we have two and they are both ready to represent our country anytime. I already saw Clarkson played with Gilas but have not seen Brownlee yet, so I'm excited to see and have the comparison of their performances.

Brownlee will serve as good backup since JC is not always available unless he will show his interest playing then Brownlee will give him the spot, for now, we will check if how brownlee will impact the nationals, gilas is alredy forming their solid combination, adding brownlee to tha squad will give them extra offensive threat.

We will only see if what addition can he provide once the game starts for FIBA competition.

Brownlee could play in the FIBA ASIA while JC will play in the FIBA world. I guess most of the international competition, it will be Brownlee that has more available time than JC because he is an NBA player and they have a long season. Anyway, it doesn't matter though, both players are great and they are loved by the Filipino Fans.
1438  Economy / Speculation / Re: A good observer makes a better speculator on: November 23, 2022, 11:32:45 AM
Experience is what it means. Of course, spending a lot of time more than anyone is a big advantage and a bigger chance to project what will probably happen next. However, in a situation where price movement is unpredictable, all we have is just a sort of market speculation and mostly it ends wrong. Because no matter how long you have been observing the market, we can't still assume that we know already and we are right. Even experts fail to see what exactly will happen which means that it also happens to everyone.
1439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 21, 2022, 03:31:52 PM

The best season for Clarkson so far, in that game, he took over in the 4th quarter to give the Jazz a comfortable lead, it looks like he already is the main man of the team, the previous 6th man of the year will likely become an all star this season. Their chemistry is really impressive, you can tell by looking at the scores distribution, I mean everyone is contributing on the floor.

I guess the lack of a superstar is working great for the Jazz. Since there is no superstar that hogs the ball, they all get touches and a chance to contribute to a win. That is great basketball. In this scenario, the coach should get a credit as well since he brings out the best on his team even when they are on a rebuilding process.

The management must be very happy with the Jazz now, I'm sure they didn't expect a rebuilding team to be at the number 1 spot now. They are for real, they loss some games but they also come back strong. number 1 in the West and 2nd overall, that's a great achievement so far.

Team play is very important and the Jazz are showing that every game, no superstar, they'll create their own, but no one did the ball hogging like Mitchell did in the past.
1440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 21, 2022, 02:47:24 PM
They escape the rockets and win their first road game. Finally, I was under the impression that
Rockets will disappoint them since in the last few possessions these young guns really did
try to snatch the game away with the hot shooting of Klay and Steph.

The Houston Rockets did manage to make the game more entertaining. It was a big lead from the Warriors when I had a glimpse of the first quarter game. So I decided to just focus on player props as I was so sure it will end in a blowout. I saw Klay getting hot behind the arc so I risk on his 3-point field goals.
To my surprise, the Rockets made a good run, and then the window to bet for the Warriors came up.
And thanks to that effort from their young players I caught another good bet and the spread was covered.  Grin Lucky day.

Klay Thompson was the man, he transformed himself to an old Klay making 41 points in that game, and the best thing is that he got 10-13 shooting in the 3 point line. I really wish to see this kind of consistency from him so the Warriors will start winning like the old ways.
