1462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Twitter will enable crypto and stock trading via eToro partnership on: April 16, 2023, 10:54:13 PM
Elon Musk is only looking for ways to make more money and not thinking about Twitter users. I wonder if anyone on Twitter will not want to try to trade and start losing money, I hope they will know that trading is not for everyone.

Well, Twitter is a company, and companies do businesses, and businesses make profit, so I don't see any problem there I guess.
After all, integrating crypto trading on Twitter just increases the chances of cryptocurrency being seen worldwide because for sure, there are some Twitter users out there who doesn't, or worse don't know crypto at all.

Elon really is changing Twitter the way we know it. Crypto trading has risks, and it really isn't for everyone, but on the other hand, Elon isn't forcing those people who are using Twitter to use that additional feature. This might sound crazy for others, but I'm not using Twitter anymore, and I've only used it when I was joining bounty campaigns. Cheesy

I tried trading on eToro though, and I think it's good especially the copy-trading feature. I just don't know why whenever Elon Musk is having some updates, they always connect DOGE with it. Cheesy
1463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis a must know in crypto trading? on: April 16, 2023, 10:24:50 PM
P.S I have really poor knowledge on bitcoin technicalities, am more of the chart reading and gut feeling type. so I hope am not breaking any of the rules posting here.
Was really curious to understand if technical analysis is vital or just a means to reduce risk. Thanks in advance
Experts in trading know technical analysis, or at least they know how to read charts, and use indicators that will help them in their trading journey.
However, learning technical analysis alone isn't enough for you to success.

I'm not an expert in trading, but I tried crypto trading already, and what I will say is that it really is needed aside from the fact that you need to focus on the fundamental side as well because there are some news that can make the price of the coin go up significantly, and that would mean opportunity for you as a trader. On the other hand, TA isn't a must know because you can still use fundamentals to trade, and vice-versa.

I guess learning technical analysis would be beneficial for you if you really want to give crypto trading most of your time. I mean if you really want to be a successful crypto trader then you must learn Technical analysis aside from the fact that you need to learn how to be emotionless when it comes to trading. When I was trading, I also use my gut whenever I'm making decisions. Cheesy Technical analysis isn't a vital thing when it comes to crypto trading, but it would be beneficial for you if you will learn it.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 16, 2023, 09:39:30 PM
Very intense game today in play-offs with Grizzlies taking on Lakers and this game could go either way even if the bookies are currently giving Grizzlies as favorites. I'm saying this because Lakers in play-offs are really a different team and they should never be underestimated, especially when they have a fully recovered LeBron who looks kinda hungry for performance in this end of the overall season.
The Lakers outscored them 30-11 in the final 8 minutes of the game, and that 15-0 run to end the game lead them to steal Game 1 on the road.

This is the first time that the Lakers got 4 players who got 20+ points in a single game since the 80's, and if you're playing that way, there's no way you can lose. Hachimura and Reaves combined for 52 points while their all-star players AD and Lebron scored 22 and 21 points.

On the other hand, Jackson Jr. lead the Grizzlies with 31 points, but that wasn't enough for the to get the win. The game was really a close one until Reaves scored 7 on the Lakers' 15 final points to secure the victory. He really is a good addition to the team, and he deserves a better contract IMO. I just hope that Morant's ok though because he got an awkward fall when he drove inside, and injured his right hand.

Game 1 between Milwaukee and Miami is starting already. Some NBA playoff games are too early for some here in our country that we need to wake up early in the morning just to watch them. Cheesy
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me altcoin to DCA till halving on: April 16, 2023, 09:21:33 PM
DCA is the only means that is easy for me to buy coins. Which altcoin can you recommend for me to start DCAing till  halving when the bull run is expected.
I am afraid , that before bull run such coin might have problems. I don't want coins above $100, so that it will be possible to run on good profits if the investment works.
First, why you wanted to buy coins below $100? I mean what's the difference if you bought a coin below a hundred dollars, and a coin that's above a hundred dollars? I can't see the reason behind it because you can still buy Bitcoin even if you don't have $100, and you can also buy Ethereum even if you don't have $100.

Well, DCA on altcoins in a bear market isn't a bad thing like what other are saying here. I mean if you go buy Ethereum monthly, you sure will get profit over time. Now to answer your question, I guess just go pick those top coins out there who's below $100. LINK, ADA, DOT, SOL.

If you wanted to go DCA into altcoins, I'd suggest go buy Ethereum.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 16, 2023, 01:33:59 PM
Seems the basket is an ocean for TNT in the first half as threes were raining on their side while Ginebra Kings find it hard to buy a basket, they are now down by 18 points and with that i think we will be having a 2-2 series, just like what is stipulated in the script hehe.

I bet for Ginebra +11.5 @1.87 and Under 213.5 @1.80, hope Ginebra will come back in the second half and make this game a close one.
Being down by 18 points in fourth quarter with a few minutes left is too impossible to have a come back, Ginebra will lose here.
TNT did a great shooting job for todays game and now a big chance to take lead in the series. Ginebra seems off today as they scored very low compared to game 1 and game 2. Well, there's no doubt for TNT and they prove it for todays game for sure game 4 will be more intense.
Anyway, good win for TNT. They won in Game 4, and at the same time, their import, Hollis-Jefferson got the Best Import of the Conference award.
It seems that there's a pattern on this series. Cheesy It's like how Ginebra won against Bay Area Dragons last Commissioner's Cup where both teams are exchanging wins all the way until Ginebra took it.

When your team shot 21/43 three pointers, your team will get the win. I mean TNT is one of the best three-point shooting teams right now, and in this game, they don't have Pogoy because of a fractured right hand, but the locals stepped up and make the threes rain. Even Hollis-Jefferson who isn't shooting threes that much shot 3-6 on that area. Correct me, but that 21 three point shots that they've made is the new record as the most number of threes made by a single team in a single game in the playoffs.

Game 5 is on Wednesday. It's now a best of 3 series. Will Ginebra get it again? Or the TNT will make it 2 in a row. Cheesy
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 16, 2023, 07:09:28 AM
Sacramento Kings VS Golden State Warriors

The stake odds for this game are 1.91 for the Kings and 1.93 for the Warriors, right now Matthew Dellavedova, can not play for the Kings, while Andre Iguodala can not play for the Warriors, I really think they need to release Iguodala for a better player going forward, but maybe this will be his last season or Iggy could be an assistant coach for the Warriors or even a different role than playing for the Warriors, right now I am surely siding with the 100% form Warriors now that Wiggins can play,

The Warriors are bad on the road this year. Even with Wiggins and GP2 playing, I do not think they can win against the Kings on the road in Game 1. I am taking the Kings to win the first game against the Warriors.

Good luck with your bet.
Well, they really are one of the worst teams in terms of win-loss record, but on that Game 1, even though they lost, I believe that they can steal Game 2.

It's not because I'm a Warrior fan, but even though they played awful in the road all throughout the regular season, they played really well in Game 1, and they only lost by 3 points. I had the time to watch the whole game, and I think that adjustments that the Warriors will do is with regards to stopping Monk. They did stop Sabonis offensively by scoring only 12 points, but had a double-double. As for Fox, the Warriors can't stop that dude which is very fast even for Wiggins and GP2. There are times where Fox just outruns either one of them, and go straight to the basket.

I think if the Warriors need to stop Fox, they need to defend him and minimize at least his performance in the 4th quarter because that's where Fox shines. He will not be at the top in terms of points int he last 5 minutes for nothing, and some call him the Clutch because of how good he is in the final quarter. Anyway, I also bet on the Warriors and lost unfortunately. Cheesy
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are Meme Coins? on: April 16, 2023, 07:03:15 AM
I don’t think any of them have a real future as a means of payment in mainstream finance. I do think that you can make quick money on them & get out ASAP into safer, more reliable investments though & that’s the aim for most meme coin investors.

Do your own research but there are opportunities out there to do very well in these projects. Just don’t hold them long term.
DOGE might have because it's the most famous meme coin, and it has been accepted in most if not all of the centralized exchanges out there.

I feel regret that I invested into SAFEMOON back when meme coins are a hype. If only I just invested into DOGE at that time... but shit happens I guess, and I know that there are some here who also lost in investing into meme coins. TBH, if I will look at the best meme coins that's worthy of investing, I only see DOGE, but even that coin isn't a good long term hold for me, but it's a good short to mid term hold I guess. Cheesy All of the other meme coins are considered shitcoins for me - including SHIB.

Like you said, always do your own research, and you will see that there are better coins worthy of investing your money than these meme coins. For the OP, we know that this is another form of advertising your exchange, and there's no problem with it. Can I ask if you can share how many users are using your exchange on a monthly basis?
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: they change the way we handle money and own things ? on: April 16, 2023, 06:46:07 AM
as decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and non fungible tokens (NFTs) become more popular, will they change the way we handle money and own things,

or will they only be used by a small group of people(like now being used) ?
As for DeFi, there are some changes already because there are some people who prefer using it for some reasons, but the problem with some of the DeFi is the fact that they're more prone to scams and hacks. How many DeFi exchanges has already been hacked throughout the years? How many DeFi exchanges rug pulled already?

As for NFT, I don't see it having any significant change to how we are handling money things as of the moment. I mean I don't even know if there is any use-case of NFT's at all aside from the fact that you will have some benefits from that project whenever you have bought an NFT.

Overall, it's still hard to know what will be the future of these 2 things. DeFi and NFT has been here for a very short time only, and who knows. We might see them having an upgrade overtime, or we might see them disappearing in the crypto space.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 16, 2023, 06:08:28 AM
Don't let the Golden State Warriors' position deceive anyone. They did not play a full squad all year, they approached the ideal squad as the play-offs approached and their performances increased significantly. The only thing missing is Andrew Wiggins, who is expected to return these days. So no one should be surprised if GSW become champions again. With the return of Wiggins, Warriors will be much more energetic, much more physical and more whole. (I believe wiggins will return well) Payton returned and started to contribute. Kuminga brings an efficient 10-15 points + very good energy every match. Divincenzo does his part by doing a little bit of everything. Although the starting 5 of this team did not include a large sample in the time they played together, they were the top 5 of the league. And now it has created a good 2nd unit.

I surely agree, right now they are in a good position agaisnt the Sacramento Kings, that are making a great noice in the West, this could be a tough match for the Golden State Warriors and their 1st game is also a loss but for me, it was a close game and right now they have a returning Andrew Wiggins that is just starting to heat up I really think this game was just the warm-up for sure the 2nd game will be the real one for the Warriors, and this will be a great match to look forward to,

Fox and Monk did really spoiled the three point party of the Warriors. I mean the Warriors shot 50 attempts, and 16 went it. Not that good if you will ask me, but I guess the Warriors will go with the "Live on three, or die by three" mode where they will focus more on threes like what they used to. Anyway, they have many players who are capable of shooting threes.

Sabonis didn't play very well tonight, scored only 12 points, and shot only 29% from the field. In the whole regular season, Sabonis didn't have a field goal percentage of lesser than 30% until this game. This just shows how good Looney, Kuminga and Green is defensively. Now the problem that they need to solve Monk. I mean they need a way to stop him because him and Fox really stepped up to get their first playoff win in 17 years. On the other hand, the Warriors had as high as 10 point lead in the 3rd quarter, but didn't held strong on it, and ended that quarter with the Kings with 1 point lead.

As expected, this is a high scoring ball game because they're the top 2 offensive teams right now. Expect some adjustments from both teams in Game 2. It's very entertaining to watch, and TBH, you can feel the intensity around the arena as they are very loud to the point that you can barely hear any whistle. It just shows how the Kings' fans really wanted their team to go to playoffs. I'll include a trivia that Malik Monk tied the current record for most number of free throws without any misses in their playoffs debut with 14 free throws.
1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I love Bitcoin on: April 16, 2023, 05:43:15 AM
Bitcoin is accessible to everyone, and that's an amazing aspect of it. Anyone from any part of the world can access Bitcoin through the internet. That means that anyone can transfer and receive Bitcoin anywhere without any restrictions. It even works in those areas where traditional banking infrastructure is not present.
In order for a person to have access into Bitcoin, they need to have smartphone and/or a computer.
Not all of the people around the world have that kind of gadget, and not all people even know how to use one or both of them. Yes Bitcoin might be accessible to anyone, but because not all of people are using the gadgets needed to use it, for me it's still not accessible for everyone.

I use Bitcoin every day, and it's an important part of my life. I can't imagine my life without Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I believe that its adoption rate will increase in the upcoming days, and many new users will start using this amazing invention of this century. Thanks a lot to Satoshi Nakamoto for developing such an amazing infrastructure that has made our lives easier and far better.
I'm kind of curious on how you are using Bitcoin everyday? You're using Bitcoin to buy things online? You're using it to buy physical things whenever you go out? Or you are also doing what most are doing which is converting their Bitcoin into the currency of their country, and that's what you are using?

Overall, adoption rate will increase as years go by. With our current era right now which is the digital era, I expect more and more people will have technologies that will be used to have access into Bitcoin. The number of users that are using Bitcoin right now is quite low, and there are some who has Bitcoin that prefer to hold it rather than use it to buy things. Well, thanks to Satoshi for this invention.
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 15, 2023, 11:58:01 PM
I had no access to money when I knew about Bitcoin, I had the desire to acquire many Bitcoin but I have no way, instead of moving on with my life I kept myself busy, reading and reading about Bitcoin, installed my first Bitcoin wallet on a Pentium 4 PC, I knew about Proof of work, I tried mining for the first time using a dual-core PC ( second PC ), if I have enough money to invest I wouldn't have had time for all this learning.
Dual-core PC? Mining Bitcoin? You mining it using a Pentium 4 PC?
I'm not a miner, but if you are one of the early adopters of Bitcoin who mined on the early stages of it then you can mine it using that kind of PC, but if you mined it at around 5 years ago, I don't think it's possible to mine using that kind of PC. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I would be happy to be corrected. Smiley

If you don't have the money yet, maybe because you are jobless or still in school, do not let that be the reason to be out of Bitcoin, there is more you can learn that will help you in your crypto journey.

Money is coming, but be prepared by learning about Bitcoin, you will be in safer hands with the knowledge you would have acquired.
We've experienced the same.

I just graduated from college 5 years ago, and I find myself jobless for around months. That's the time where I started to learn Bitcoin thru reading here, watching documentaries, and watching different videos on Youtube. Giving myself some of my free time watching and reading every single day really helped me to gain more and more knowledge about crypto. Having no money at all didn't prevent me in learning at that time because I wanted to learn. I wanted to earn yes, and we all are, but instead of earning first, I did gain some knowledge first. I did earn thru bounty campaigns back when I was a newbie, but aside from doing that, I'm also gaining, and gaining knowledge every single day.

You not having any money mustn't be the reason why you will not learn Bitcoin.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 15, 2023, 11:36:15 PM
Looking at how Memphis is growing and how they are doing decently, I would guess that Lakers will not have an easy time. Many people think that because Lakers have Lebron and Lebron plays differently on playoffs, they will end up with a win. However, lets realize that Lebron is in his 20th year and he can't just carry the whole team anymore, he hasn't done that in a long time, they barely got into the playoffs this season thanks to that trade, without that trade they might have even lost it as well.

So all in all I would guess that it is not going to be easy, Memphis on the other hand has been playing well all season long and should be able to defend Lebron very well, if Lebron still can manage to win it, then it would be something amazing without a doubt.
Inconsistency, injuries, age, inexperience.

The Lakers are one of the best defensive teams post-trade deadline, but they are very inconsistent. Though they played better after the trade deadline, there are many times where their supposed shooters are playing awfully in one game, and in another, and in another. Injuries are a big factor when it comes to playoffs, and we know that their 2 all-star players Lebron and AD are injury prone. Both of them need to stay healthy if they want to have a chance to beat the Grizzlies. I said age because that affects the stamina, and endurance of a player. Grizzlies' roster are way younger than that of the Lakers thus, they have more stamina to play 7 games compare to the Lakers. I also included inexperience because even though Lebron and AD has playoff experience already, their coach doesn't have one, and I believe it affects the whole team.

Even before, many believe that this will be a hard series for both teams, but I will pick the Grizzlies to win on this one maybe in 6 games.

Just one thing though, Thomas Bryant should be a big help for the team but he requested a trade that's why he is now in the Nuggets playing less than 6 minutes per game or mostly, just sitting on the bench. He could have been a good substitute for AD if he's resting as without AD the Lakers are struggling in the paint.
I just don't know why he requested a trade where he is already playing better when he is in the Lakers.
Obviously, his performance jumped when he was the back-up center for the Lakers, and he played very well as the Lakers' starting center when AD is out because of injury. I don't know why he requested a trade, but whatever reason it is, it's a wrong move coming from him. He must've have a better season if he stayed on the Lakers. Maybe personal reason.
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 15, 2023, 11:03:18 AM
Have you ever had the same experience ? What did/would you do ? Please share your opinions.
Enjin Coin.

I still remember buying this coin back when I was a newbie. I'm a gamer, and I guess its my instinct at that time to buy ENJ because that project is related to gaming. A few days it went down, but I kept holding until it go down, and down, and down. I lost more than half of my capital at that time holding it, but I didn't sell it at a loss, and kept holding it. It took me 2 years until I sold ENJ. I got profit from it, but it wasn't worth it knowing how many years I held it just because I don't want to sell it at a loss.

For sure there are some investors here that have experience the same as mine. They bought a coin, and when it went down, they forced to hold it until the time comes that they will sell it at a profit. It's like they forced hold a coin for months to years, instead of you buying it for short term only.

I suggest to the users here that don't do what I've experienced, and always have a stop loss when needed.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Speculation & Gambling" - Warren Buffett Critisize on: April 15, 2023, 10:14:43 AM
I hope that newbies will not take Buffett's criticism towards Bitcoin as a way for them not to approach Bitcoin, and still give themselves some time to learn it.

I mean we've heard numerous criticism towards Bitcoin. Since I started way back 5 years ago in learning Bitcoin, I've already heard some bad news on it. In 2017, back when I was a newbie still I've heard that China is banning ICO's, and at that time its hype is at its highest. Of course it affected Bitcoin, but not on the way that most people expected. Instead of it going down, it went up even though there are many negative news at that time. Over the years, there are many negative news, negative criticism that has been said towards Bitcoin, but look where it is now. Many people are still interested in investing into it, and it's kind of ironic that he said negative things about it, but the price went up after he said it.

Warren Buffett is one of the most popular investors in the world, and I'm following his footsteps with regards to investing into stock market, but I will not follow what he's saying with regards to crypto, and I'd rather ignore it.
1476  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the pump coming? on: April 15, 2023, 05:43:31 AM
I sense that very soon the pump will start to shame all those folks who feel btc is failed project.
After what happened with Bitcoin in the past 2-3 years, who do you think are those people who are saying that Bitcoin is still a failed project?
Do you think that there are still some? Aside from some businessmen who are looking negatively still with Bitcoin, I don't think that there are still people who sees Bitcoin as a failed project TBH.

If there are, kindly say their names please. Smiley

We are expecting the bullish price to pump 60k straight up even against all odds. Those who are well position for the market can see the evidence this night is already 30k plus. I can only believe that bitcoin will do better than ever, though not withstanding we should invest wisely while waiting the pump.
We are all expecting it. The only question is "When it will happen?" because many believe that it will happen.
Well, throughout the years, Bitcoin's price is going higher and higher, so we can say that it's doing better than ever. Invest wisely you said? I hope that those newbies, and ignorant investors will ever know how to invest wisely. Cheesy

If my plans works out am ready to buy more and store! But what's your take on the pump? Do you see it coming or am just doing illusion?
Let's hear from you.
My take on the pump of Bitcoin's price? Ahh... none I guess.

I mean I'm happy whenever Bitcoin's price pump... back when I was a newbie, but I've seen it happen numerous times already, and it already came to the point where pumps are just a normal thing that's happening every time. For sure, many are happy to see Bitcoin back at $30,000 again especially for those who bought below $20,000 because they're now in profit, but for me. I don't feel anything at all. Maybe I will only feel happiness on Bitcoin when it's price reaches $100,000. Cheesy
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 15, 2023, 05:05:18 AM
Congratulations to the Miami Heat for qualifying for the playoffs again. Butler took over the game and helped beat the Bulls. I hope Bam improves his game in the playoffs as he didn't perform well in the last two games. Fortunately, other players were able to step up.

Now, it's going to be Heat vs. Bucks. Can the Heat upset the number one team, or will the Bucks sweep the Heat? Which of the two is more likely to happen?

Bam brings a lot to the table in ways that don’t show up in the stats. Giannis is definitely going to have his hands full in the lane.
So it's a trilogy between these 2 teams, eh? Cheesy
On their first match-up back in the bubble, the Heat won against the Bucks 4-1. In the next season, the Bucks swept the Heat and went on to the second round, and winning the title. Now it's the 3rd time that both these teams are facing each other.

TBH, I can't find a way for the Heat to win on the Bucks. Defense, Bucks obviously is better, and in offense, they are also better. I'm not disregarding the Heat though, but with how both these teams played during the regular season, we might see the Bucks using that "BROOM" against the Heat again.

Looks like the Minnesota Timberwolves are going to grab the last playoff spot from the Oklahoma City Thunder. Pretty much what I was expecting to go down tonight.
After having their best performances, SGA and Giddey are nowhere to be found on this game.
SGA only scored 22 points while Giddey only scored 6 points. Both of them had -22 plus-minus rating. The lead went up to as high as 29 points. It's a good game for the Thunder, but the Timberwolves really gave their best to retain that 8th seed.

Looking forward to watching the Kings vs Warriors game tomorrow.
As a Warrior fan, I will really watch this one. I will give some of my time just for this. Watching game 1 will give you a preview on what we will expect on the whole series. I believe that this series will be a high scoring one because both of them are the top 1 and top 2 in points per game.

Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023?
Yes... and no.
There are many factors into it.

Where are you living? In a first world country, 1 Bitcoin is very small as prices are way expensive there compare to those in third world countries. I live in a third world country, and I can say that it might make me rich.. or depending on what really is the definition of rich.

Speaking of rich, what is your definition of being rich? Does you having 1 Bitcoin make you feel rich already? Does having you lots of money make you rich? I mean the word rich has a very broad meaning, and it all depends on the person on what his definition of rich is. As for me, my definition of being rich is that "having lots of money with a stable source of income - both passive and active."

~
So, my question is can Bitcoin give a life that I dreamt as a child. Is it possible to gain financial freedom? What exactly does financial freedom means in context of Bitcoin?
Yes Bitcoin can help you to give a life that you want. However, it will not as easy as you think it will, and TBH, 1 Bitcoin isn't enough for you to achieve financial freedom.
Let's take the definition of financial freedom on one website: LINK
Quote
Financial freedom means having enough passive income from investments, savings, and other assets to support your dream lifestyle.
I will base on that definition of Financial Freedom. Will 1 Bitcoin enough for you to support your dream lifestyle? For me who is living in a third world country, 1 Bitcoin is enough already to support my dream lifestyle, but I will not just simply hold 1 Bitcoin and let it support my lifestyle, but I will use it to buy stocks that will give me annual dividends. In that way, it will be the one who will support my lifestyle, and that's my definition of financial freedom.

Now I don't know how your lifestyle is, and what are your monthly expenses, but depending on that 2 factors, 1 Bitcoin might be enough for you to achieve financial freedom. Now it all depends on you on how you will use it to support your lifestyle. I already shared mine, and I hope you can get some strategies here for you to achieve it.

They will not accept it because they don't know about it.
They will not accept it because people aren't have the initiative to learn it.
They will not accept it because they find it very complicating for them.
They will not accept it because they're lazy enough not to learn it.

That's the problem right now. They don't want to learn it for various reasons. Most of the people right now prefer bank transfer other than transferring thru crypto because it's either they don't know crypto itself, or they find bank transfer more comfortable for them.

On the other hand, don't expect "EVERYONE" to use crypto. If they will go to a bank, they will assist them. If they will use crypto, who will assist them? Where they will buy Bitcoin? How will they transfer it? I mean for them, they see it as more hassle than just go to a bank, tell the information, and just give the money. Overall, there will still be people who will prefer using banks than crypto.

You said "they are individuals with low crypto knowledge." Well, I agree with you, and it's because they see it as a complex thing thus, they will just ignore it. We can't blame them if they really don't want to use crypto for transaction. Even a person with a high crypto knowledge might still use bank for his/her transaction.

I’m looking to invest 10k, I’m trying to decide if to go with XRP or ADA.
~
My slight worry is what happens if XRP lose.
Why not do both?

I mean ADA and XRP can give you more than x4 return when the bull market starts, but on the flipside, it might not give you that return in the bull run. I mean anything can happen. If you're only focusing on that 2 coins, just go 50-50 on it. I'm holding ADA personally, but I'm thinking of selling already, and buy Ethereum on it. As for XRP, it didn't come to my mind to hold some of that coins for the long run for some unknown reason.

Long term, I think you have a higher chance that you can get x4 returns because it already happened in the past. You are worrying if XRP loses? I guess the community behind Ripple is huge to the point that it will not go down that hard if something bad happens to them. As for ADA, their slow upgrades, and lots of hype is the problem with them, but whenever they release an upgrade to their project, there are little to no bugs or whatever glitches on it.

Maybe try on adding some Bitcoin. ADA, XRP, and BTC. Smiley
