This is just the premier league only, there are other managers who were sacked in the other leagues. So I was thinking, isn't there a way to bet on managers who will most likely be fired by their club management before the season ends judging based on their performance? At least sport bettors should have the pleasure of making these kind of bets too. I know it sounds crazy but that's what has been on my mind. Do you think it is feasible? You're not getting a lot if you're betting against your favorite team where you are a die-hard, so I'll just skip it and just cheer for your favorite team there will be times when my favorite team will build up so I can continue betting for them if you're betting against them it's like betraying your loyalty to the team, you are not a die-hard fan in a real sense, you're just a casual fan. If it's just for the money and entertainment, I don't think there's something wrong with betting against your favorite team. There are a lot of benefits to it too! The mere fact that it allows you to stay grounded and not embody being a die-hard fan of your team is already a big plus that will save you a lot of upfront discussions against other die-hards. Plus the indispensable advantage of knowing what your team can and cannot do is also in your hands, allowing you to make a clearer judgement on whether the team they will be playing against is good or not. lastly, if the enemy does win the loss of your favorite team wouldn't hurt that much! Cause at least you got money from it! So it's not like you're not getting much from this ordeal, in fact you're getting a lot from just deciding to bet against your favorite team. |

But honestly it's less about perfecting your strategies to win more games, and more about protecting your wins from losses. They don't really divulge on what techniques to use and what bets to make, which I think is good because there's no surefire way of winning really, especially when it comes to games of chance. So the most that you can do for yourself, is to ensure that all the wins you took are intact, and you are not addicted to gambling. Looks like there's was a compromise in that judgement and judicial partiality played out here ,someone gambled away 5.6 million and where asked to pay 150,000 only ,too small when compared with the amount of money being gambled away despite being given 7 years of imprisonment. They're hold with two count charge here, criminal offense and false allegation. The state of this guys greediness was in the high place. Both persons might be two gamble addicts and should
have allowed to undergo some psychological evaluation to know their mental status.
I guess it's all about how much they could pay at the moment given their financial status and all that. I've seen cases like this before (not gambling-related but money is still involved between relatives) and they are not really keen on putting charges that are beyond what the accused could pay. So it just makes sense, at least to me. Plus the 7 year charge I think was more than enough punishment considering how much money the prison's gonna make off of them. They are definitely gambling addicts already, psychological evaluation could only lead to plead for insanity or something like that, which will prolong this case. |

Gambling and investing are two completely different things. But for these two things you must go with the principle of losing money. Still we know that gambling is a totally luck based platform if you are lucky you can win from gambling platform. But in most cases, chances of losing in gambling will be high. Investment, on the other hand, is a trustworthy and less risky business than gambling. If you have losses after investing, you can hope for recovery. There you can never be disappointed that your money is disappearing all at once. So from here we can consider the difference. Exactly my point. I've made a previous comment regarding this topic and I'm surprised this is still going on, perhaps because to some people the difference between gambling and trading isn't as apparent as they wanted it to be. Regardless, these two can't be looped in the same boat since trading is centered around yielding profits by studying the market, gathering disciplines and knowledge bases that will help you get there, as well as the fact that there's just a higher margin of profit for trading than gambling. Realization is a very rare thing and only a few people got it in them, and gamblers, they mostly lack this ability to realize what they are getting themselves into until they are totally sunk into the addiction and have almost spent everything they may have had back in the day, realizing things that late doesn't really work or has no essence at all. There is basically nothing you can do to make someone realize their mistakes unless they have it in their heart as well, otherwise, no matter how hard you try, you will only be wasting your time and theirs as well. Realization isn't necessarily rare. It comes to everyone, especially people that have succumbed to gambling addiction. The problem is that it only ever comes to these kinds of people when everything's too late and they have already lost everything. Their money, their family, their friends, etc. And even then when they have already known that it's gambling that has brought them to this point in their lives, they wouldn't have the courage to stop, either because they are punishing themselves over the fact that they ruined their lives, or because of gambler's fallacy and sunk-cost fallacy which makes them go back to the gig "to take their losses back eventually" which is just not going to happen, some even go so far as to commit suicide when they find out that they've ruined everything and they start to think that there's no way they are getting out of this pickle. |

I think I don't have a preference on what coin I'm gonna gamble with. Most of the time I just find myself gambling with whatever coin the casino accepts. USDT seems to be the staple around most crypto-casinos so I use it a little more often. But then again I'm not one to pick favorites on which money I want to burn. Although of course, if given the chance I would never spend my bitcoin on gambling. Just something about the cryptocurrency titan itself that makes me not want to spend it. But then again, it's the whole attitude of Ryan than can make the big difference. I agree with that, it's still his attitude that will allow him to enhance his fighting skills, with a new trainer and a new set of people to work on keeping moving forward after that loss. Nothing to judge for now as we are waiting for the next update if he will have another money fight or if he will again find a cherry pick fighter to hype his name. Something that we will need to wait, whether that change in training partners will benefit him or not. Hopefully it is for the better this time because Ryan Garcia's talent will just be put to waste if he will not do anything to address his own issue that he himself created, he could've been among the top names right now if he have the dedication to be among those lists. Moreover, he already have the people needed for him to develop his skills and to be a much greater boxer than what he is previously, all what's needed to do is his presence and dedication to change for the better. He has the potential and the ability to make it to the big leagues (I would even argue that he is already in the big leagues considering we are talking about him) but that attitude of wanting to always be in the spotlight has to go. It's one thing to love being a star and a celebrity because well, it's a secret dream that most of us wanted to achieve at some point in our lives but at the same time him skipping out on important affairs like training just so he can appear more in the camera is just going to cause him to lose more fights in the future. AFAIK many casinos aren't notifying their gamblers when they've updated their terms, but I think a legit casino will notifying their users when a big change happen. Changing the terms against the gambler who's won big amount money isn't nothing new in new casino, they will give an excuse if their casino is still new and it's normal if they might adjust their terms due to development.
And this is why you should only play with reputable casinos. The mere changes in their Terms of Services could easily be taken against you when the time comes. And you can't take them to court either cause the ToS is going to hold up well in the proceedings, leaving you penniless in the process of finding justice and lost too. So it's just better to not take chances when it comes to picking casinos or bookies, it's much better to put your business into entities and companies that are reliable, and have been in the industry for years with good reputation. |

How will a "Survey" help to prevent those actions? Most people lie on surveys, so you are not getting accurate data from those surveys. The ToS specifically restrict certain countries from playing on those sites, so people are not just breaking the rules that are stated in the ToS, but they are breaking the local laws of their country. So, if people stick to the rules, then situations like this will be prevented. The sites must just make sure that the users specifically acknowledge that they have read the ToS and that they will abide by it. I see Stake.com have recently forced people to "tick" that they have read the ToS, before they can enter the site.  Survey to me is nothing but a waste of time because of the work load that would be lay on you and the stress and time taken before it ended, yet it's not encoura by any means because it's not a measure good enough to tackle gamblers into a good moral conducts, passing through survey will make them loose interest in gambling on a particular gambling platform, gamblers hardly cope with the KYC challenges and introducing this again will not help but discouraged many from enjoying full access in gambling, some casinos may lost gamblers through this. How in the hell is answering a couple questions that's not gonna take more than 5 minutes of your life stressful to you? Plus the point of the survey may have been lost to you lmao. This actually happens if there is a similar thread I'll lock this thread. My friend invited me for a round of drinks just last night to confess something, and that is his wife threatened to leave their house and file for legal separation because the wife just discovered that he's spending a lot of time gambling, she thought that he's just playing games but she discovered his logged because the idiot has his password in the browser, so the wife check his withdrawal and voila his losing a lot of money and she also discovered that he won big money in the past but didn't tell her. I guess that blew her patience for not telling his winning, so he threaten that he should stop gambling or they part ways, my friend choose his wife so he cannot play until he can convince his wife and promise her to tell her if he won big.  How about you have you been threatened by your wife, your girlfriend, or your parents, if so tell us your story. If it came to that point already, then it must mean your friend's in a pickle, maybe even addicted to gambling and it's getting on the wife's nerves already. With that being said, and I don't mean to be a life coach or a relationship counselor here but the friend shouldn't really focus on wooing the wife to let him play again but should focus on actually wooing her to get her trust and love back, that's going to save their relationship and would definitely help in the future when similar problems come about. The friend must also look into interventions in order to have him rid of the lingering want to gamble. It's gonna cost him more than his marriage in the future if he keeps at it without getting the help he needs. Gambling addiction is one of the most devastating form of addiction by the way, second only to drug abuse. So with that fact in mind he should take this issue seriously and assess himself. No regular person in their right minds would want to woo their wives to convince them to allow them to gamble again. To me that's a surefire sign that something awry is already cooking. |

So that makes me to think how people look or see or think of gambling. Is gambling a bad thing to do? As for me gambling is not a bad something but the individual can be bad and also the way you present yourself in the society can also tell people about your personality.  How do you see the father? Was he right by rejecting the son gambling win? Gambling isn't inherently a bad thing, but the connotation it brings is definitely tainted over the years of exploit and suffering that most gambling addicts have gone through in the past. They serve as a cautionary tale per se. But I think that's not the main reason why the Dad's not so stoked about the son's winnings. I think it's all about the effort it took the son to amass that much money. For most people that's going to take a hell of a lot of time and blood sweat and tears, which the father is kind of hoping the son would experience (which is stupid lmao I'd disown my father if he's like that). Which then lead to the father rejecting the son's winnings. Basically all the father's aiming for is to have the son see the value in effort and taking the time to gather that much money, instead of taking the easy way out and gambling it. They then derive information from this data, and from there provide the user with adverts that fall in that category. Let's take OP's case for example. He, (evidently) is a gambler, and he might've made a couple of google searches in the past few days/weeks that is related to gambling, maybe even watched a couple streamers on YouTube on the side. This is fetched by Google, and from there, had given him advertisements that are in line with what he's been looking for these past few days. If he tries to change his preferences by searching for other things tomorrow or the next day, he'd find ads and recommended videos for him change as well. That's how the algorithm works. |
