It was not only there national squad that is too good in playing cricket, the U19 team reaching semi final clearly indicates that Afghanistan has talent that can take cricket in Afghanistan to further heights. I am interested in seeing Afghanistan winning this U19 WC as this will be good for cricket as we have one more permanent member joining in.
If the political situation is stable then Afghanistan will produce great talents if not these players will move to other countries to earn their living, i have played with and against many players from Afghanistan in the UAE playing for clubs and some of the players i came across have the potential to play for the national side.

The pitch is really slow for batting and the bowlers will determine the champions or a special batsman who could tackle the pitch.
1482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An advanced technology could kill crypto? on: January 30, 2022, 06:24:56 PM
The world of technology is evolving every year what if in future a new tech is been born that can kill crypto or works better than crypto won't this kill cryptocurrencies?

Also I heard that super computers can get through all crypto wallet keys easily in a matter of days, true or false?
The fastest supercomputer is Fugaku which has a speed of 442 PFLOPS and it cost around a billion US dollar to put together this supercomputer and if you think it can break AES-128 encryption it will take forever to break the encryption, basically it is impossible to break the encryption even if you spent a billion dollars and who will be spending that much money to break the encryption of BTCitcoin (SHA-256) or other cryptocurrencies  Tongue.

Now, if Ngannou, and Jones was a reality, and it did happen. I expect Jones to command the biggest paycheck, but I would absolutely expect both fighters to be getting more than the average. So, while I want Francis to remain in the UFC, if he only cares about money, then the only logical thing to do would be to go to boxing.
The sole reason Jon Jones is not fighting for a long time is because he demanded more money to move to Heavyweight division and Dana White was not budging and he was not willing to give anything further than what is contracted. Even Francis Ngannou in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani said his problem is not with the money the UFC is offering but the freedom he gets with the contract. Francis Ngannou gets a fixed amount of 600k win or loose and he will be getting PPV revenue as well which will be much higher than the fixed pay he gets considering he is a main event fighter.

For example for UFC 229 Khabib Nurmagomedov got a fixed payment of $2 million and Conor McGregor got a fixed pay of $3 million but the total amount Khabib Nurmagomedov got for UFC 229 including PPV in revenue is around $40 million and Conor McGregor made around $50 million.
1484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Belgian MP becomes the first European politician to accept salary in Bitcoin on: January 30, 2022, 03:41:16 PM
Brussels member of parliament Christophe De Beukelaer became the first European politician to accept his salary into Bitcoin. The MP converted to Bitcoin using the Bit4You (crypto exchange platform). The Belgian MP will convert his monthly salary of EUR 5,500 to Bitcoin. Beukelaer hopes his adaptation will inspire other politicians to show a similar interest in the crypto industry.
This is called flowing with the trend, there is no way he will be an international news worthy candidate if not for the adoption of BTCitcoin and he made international news with his action and a good PR work  Cheesy. I am in the BTCitcoin space for a very long time but there is no way i am going to accept my salary in BTCitcoin. The freedom of when to invest should be on me and for publicity it is a good stunt Cheesy.
1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still not satisfied with crypto games on: January 29, 2022, 11:59:32 PM
Getting bored with crypto gaming projects, I'd like to make money out of something fun to play but with crypto games it's really about the money you will make out of the games, I've not seen real good game Devs utilizing the power of blockchain or maybe it's my taste of games that im used to, I just still prefer spending more time on my Xbox than crypto games because it's more fun than crypto games
If you are expecting Xbox quality games from blockchain based games then you need to wait for the next 5 to 10 years to see any solid games that would spark an interest who are not into gaming. So do not expect high level games in the blockchain during the initial phases.

I remember the growth of the gaming industry and it took decades to reach where it is now and i am not expecting the same delays but it will take some time to reach the level of Xbox games Tongue.

Law enforcement, Cricketing board and ICC has bigger role to play and biggest loser. I have sympathy for cricketers like Taylor due to downfall but he wasn't some Saint. He took 15k and doing his usual cocaine stuff and then fell into blackmail fiasco with some Indian businessman aka fixture. Every international players even club cricketers are regularly briefed by their board and organization in regards of fixing, honeytrap etc.
So he took money from bookies and then busted himself and then only got three and half years of suspension. Usually it will be a life time ban if there is evidence of taking money as far as i understand. What is common here is that with every match fixing scandal there will be an Indian connection  Cheesy. All the way from Hansie Cronje, Herschelle Gibbs, Nicky Boje to Brendan Taylor.

The pay scale of Zimbabwe players are really low and hence it would be easier for the bookies to approach them and they fall for those traps which will ultimately end up exposing themselves in the global scale.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Whyte comfirmed on: January 29, 2022, 10:48:17 PM
I expect this to be an easy fight for Fury. He'll then likely go on to fight the winner of AJ/Usyk and then I'm hoping Tyson gets a fight sorted with Ngannou for next year. Is there a date set for this or an estimated time? Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get sorted because if AJ/Usyk gets done we could see the winners fight by the end of the year.
Even i am not expecting anything magical from Dillian Whyte against Tyson Fury but he was supposed to fight Anthony Joshua for a long time and he is waiting in the sideline for a long time to fight for the title and with Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk are engaged to fight, it is a good match up as they were not having any opponents and they cannot wait on the sideline for a longtime waiting for the other fight to get over.

To be frank i do not want to see Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury in the boxing ring as there is nothing Tyson Fury has not seen inside boxing but if he is smart they should promote a fight between Deontay Wilder and Francis Ngannou to find out the heaviest puncher of all time and even in that fight i am expecting Francis Ngannou to gas out completely and Deontay Wilder tagging him in the later rounds Cheesy.

Washington Sundar I assume is a replacement of Hardik Pandya. KL Rahul I guess has been given another chance by the BCCI, they want him to learn from Rohit and take his place in the future. They could have given other young talent a chance but I guess they want to try this guy more. He was captaining earlier the Punjab team in IPL and is now the captain of the new Lucknow franchise there is something in him that I assume we do not know  Grin
Washington Sundar was included in the team as a spinner and not as a replacement for Hardik Pandya and he delivered with his batting as well which was a bonus. KL Rahul is a good batsman and i still think that he is yet to show his potential as a batsman with consistent performance in the International stages but i am not impressed with his captaincy Cheesy.
1489  Economy / Economics / Re: The CIA Is Deep Into Cryptocurrency, Director Reveals on: January 29, 2022, 08:32:22 PM
~
I do believe that they are working with Cryptographers and Blockchain forensic companies to gather information about criminal activities that are being done with Crypto currencies and also to follow money that was used in criminal activities.  Wink
The CIA have their own analytic team and products which are not available elsewhere and they always hire the best in countering all the activities and there is no doubt they are well equipped in monitoring each and every transaction and they might be responsible for busting criminal activities that we hear in the news every now and then. The front action might be taken by the FBI but all the data analysis and monitoring and sharing of information will be done by the CIA.
1490  Economy / Economics / Re: One nation one currency... on: January 29, 2022, 05:52:14 PM
From the beginning of humans, we have created boundaries between ourselves by lots of conflict over the century. Our greediness and eagerness for more power make us intelligent animals. Humans are capable of their own destruction. But what if those never happen?
So you want to change history and create a new one, whatever you do it will not change anything because basically humans has a herd mentality and it is not going to change as long as humans are alive.

The prime example regarding the herd mentality in the cryptocurrency space is, we started with BTCitcoin and what happens if everyone follows a single currency and not thousands of currencies. That was not the case here, even in BTCitcoin we have separated into different herds of big blocks and small blocks.

what will be the scenario of the current world if there is only one nation and one currency and humans invest their full strength for human resource development and the development of science and technology? What do you think is that even possible in the future and what will be the benefits and inconvenience of it?
It is a dream scenario which is impossible to achieve. If you are able to convince a small group about one ideology then try with a bigger group and you will understand it is basically impossible to convince everyone Wink.
1491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $34k the bottom?? on: January 29, 2022, 12:05:42 AM
~
Everyone calculates the drop from 20k to 3k but the reality is that the drop was from 20k to 6-7k level like you said, and it even looked like it was about to go parabolic because all the charts showed it and yet because of one idiot rich person it dropped down even more and it took us a year or so before it recovered.
Any difference this time around ? It will be the same scenario, everyone were celebrating when institutional investors were pumping money in the market and those investors can sell off the coins anytime and might drag the market down. So even in this instance anything is possible and the amount of money pumped by a few institutional investment firms is more than enough to drag the market down.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 28, 2022, 11:18:25 PM
A very disappointing performance by U-19 team Pakistan in the quarter final. In chase of 276 runs, they are 6 down for only 97 runs. They were unbeaten in the group stages but on this crucial occasion, they are unable to control their emotions and most probably will lost this match and will be out of the competition. This is where the big match pressure comes into play and the under 19 team need more exposure to handle the pressure.
I missed majority of the competition but what i noticed after watching the tables is that the team batting first are winning the matches, i am yet to watch the series live to understand the pitch situation. West Indies under 19 lost against UAE under 19 and Uganda Under 19 who only scored 123 runs and yet Papua New Guinea under 19 was not able to reach anywhere near that score.

So with the performance till now, who has the chance to win the tournament ?.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: OpenSea hacked for $780,000 on: January 28, 2022, 09:32:13 PM
Someone in my local board posted about the incident and i was wonder why no other topics discussing the attempt.

PeckShield company announced in a tweet that the famous platform dedicated for create/exchange NFTs with $3.5 billion in monthly trading volume has been hacked for 332 Eth equivalent to $780,000 by the actual price.
There is not much discussion regarding this even in other crypto related groups and i am involved in a few NFT projects and even i did not notice anyone complaining about the issue as well and i first saw this thread here. I do not see OpenSea making any announcement regarding this issue even though i see another article just like you shared. If users come onboard with the issue, OpenSea will make a statement if it really happened.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 28, 2022, 06:19:16 PM
JUST IN:
Brendan Taylor, the former Zimbabwe captain accepted four charges under the International Cricket Council's Anti-Corruption Code and one separate charge of violating the ICC's anti-doping code, which led to his suspension from all forms of cricket for three and a half years. Even though this was inevitable, I think it was too harsh. I commend Brendan for taking the initiative and accepting the consequences.
Which means basically his cricket career is over. He is already 35 years of age and three and half years of suspension means a nail in the coffin. Two charges against him, for not informing the authorities when bookies approached him and then another one is doping charges, i never thought they will be checking for doping but he was caught in the test for using cocaine.

Even if he gets a reduced sentence, it will be over 2 years, which means he will not play again.
1495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How will Coinmarketcap look in 2025? on: January 27, 2022, 11:39:37 PM
Everyone is interested to know how Coinmarketcap will look in 2025 because it will be a future prediction.
I have invested some time to consider how crypto can develop and I've created a possible Coinmarketcap of 2025.
It looks you are really optimistic about the market and having a forecast down the line, but what i have seen throughout my time in this cryptocurrency space is that, the coins move their rankings all the time. So i wont be surprised if a few coins disappear from this list altogether Tongue. I am not having any undue expectations but i am expecited to see the market after the bear market this time around Wink.
1496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My crazy plan for 2025 on: January 26, 2022, 11:02:19 PM
@OP If you think that it is a solid plan then you can go ahead as i have not bothered to look at the projects you mentioned because those are created just for the hype and they have served the purpose and the developers made a hell lot of money. I am curious to see how many followers these projects will be having once we have a major correction in the market. Think about all the variables and then make your decisions, either way it will be a good learning experience Wink  .

Meanwhile Pakistan cricket fans can sit back and hold there seats tight as, Australia's tour of Pakistan is 'reasonably well down the track. CA official George Bailey, has confirmed that till now there is no player who has refused to play in Pakistan. If CA tours Pakistan this March then it will also benefit PSL as CA payers will also participate in PSL.
The Australian players were happy about touring Pakistan even during the interview most of the players were happy touring the team and there is no way the CA will block the tour if the players are happy touring them. The only issue is see right now is the pandemic situations as new variants of the virus are spreading rapidly and if there is no other hurdles, the tour will go on as planned.
1498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 26, 2022, 12:00:04 AM
I won’t say Pant played bad but could he have played better then the answer is yes, he has the power to be a match winner and the coach now needs to tell him to start playing smartly rather than hit every ball he sees. Another reason given by commentators was Rahul looked confused and he’s yet not ready to captain the team, so will Rohit perform better I feel the answer is yes because of his experience.
It is difficult to tame a player like Rishabh Pant where he performs if there is no restrictions set on him. The majority of his performance happened when there was no expectation from him and he performed well and came out with outstanding performance in Test matches and won the game.

Regard the captaincy of KL Rahul, he will be under immense pressure to lead the team when majority of the batsman were struggling and that pressure may have impacted his personal performance as a batsman in the ODI series. Either give him time or find a replacement.

As for Tyson Fury. I did Francis in a few videos getting boxing tips from Mike Tyson circulating around so he just might move his skills over to the boxing ring if Mr. Dana White doesn't up his paygrade as a true champion, as this fight without a doubt has shown the world.
The championship title from Gane has been unified into his own belt now.
A few tips here and there from any experts will not make any drastic changes to the technical striking of Francis Ngannou, i am sure he will be able to beat many Heavyweight boxers simply because of his power, but if he is planning to face Tyson Fury who is a technical wizard, there is no way he is going to land a punch.

Even against Ciryl Gane he was not able to land any punch on the feet, only with his takedowns he was able to dominate him. Forget landing anything near the face of Tyson Fury Cheesy. Technically Tyson Fury is far superior than any boxers and his muscle memory is there from a small age and Francis Ngannou who learned boxing after 24 years could somehow scratch with him is ridiculous. Stick to MMA and fight non elite boxers, he could win against them for sure.

Police have arrested several people on charges of trading cryptocurrency against the rules of the country's central bank.

This time three people were arrested. The police said:
The basic thing i do not understand is that how the authorities are getting these tip offs, either the traders are vocal about their activity which is illegal in their country and boast about their profits to their friends and relatives, if not there is no way the authorities are going to pin the activities to them. The other option is P2P trading which is really risky if you are from a country that prohibits cryptocurrency trading.
