Idiot...

The post from Puppet is interesting. Is there someone shipping 3PH?
1542  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 21, 2013, 04:21:56 PM
So you are selling your units for 39 btc each and you will throw in free hosting?

That's the price i've always tried to sell them at, i don't see this fantastic deal (actually there is a 1BTC discount). Maybe the BTC price is back to a few cent and so the free hosting part is a killer? i must be missing something, because i don't understand what's going on.
1543  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 21, 2013, 03:53:47 PM
Extremely serious. MPP included (and we can discuss about who will pay the hosting costs of the MPP).
1544  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 21, 2013, 03:49:53 PM
well if anyone wants to sell their order id be interested in buying it.

paid around 50 BTC for a BabyJet batch 1. are you interested to buy it?
sure send me a pm, I wont pay 50btc obvisually, but I am sure we could work out some price.
I can offer you 39BTC/unit and one year of free hosting.
1545  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 21, 2013, 12:43:46 AM
Well, i decided that i will wait for the tracking before i send my control server to the datacenter for the sierras... Let's see what happens tomorrow...
1546  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 20, 2013, 06:26:47 PM
I think they're just taunting us with this most recent tweet.

"the chip doesen't work, but we can't really tell you so; we will start to ship tomorrow anyway"
"ok, thanks for sharing".
1547  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 20, 2013, 06:53:35 AM
Full delivery before Dec 31'st. That would be a Christmas miracle indeed.
I think that it's a mathematical certainty by now that not all of batch 1 customers will get their order on time. As time goes on, this number increases exponentially.

That being said, you start delivering tomorrow, and the best proof you can come up with the day before is a press release? If you want to prove in court that you delivered working miners with a press release, i think that you will have an hard time with that.

Can someone find another reason for witch the press release was released with this timeframe? It's certainly not gaining new customers, they are not really influenceable by press releases.
1548  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 20, 2013, 12:19:38 AM
I'm starting to think that you are correct. Sorry.

The MPP coverage extends to up to 400% of the capacity purchased. For a Baby Jet, with a nominal 400 Ghash/s capacity, the MPP is limited to sending an additional 1.6 Terrahash/s of additional ASIC hashing capacity, for a total of 2 Terahashes!

Capacity purchased = 400GH/BJ and is independent from what those BJ actually go at.

(2TH = 0.4*4 + 0.4)
1549  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 20, 2013, 12:10:26 AM
It's "up to 400%" which includes 0% to 400%... the upper limit in the terms is in plain text. it is not ambiguous or subject to interpretation.

Maybe you should try to read it again (all of it) to understand what that up to stands for.
1550  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 20, 2013, 12:07:50 AM
Actual wording:
Quote
In fact, we will give you up to 400% more hashing capacity than the Baby Jet you purchased.

Explanation for people who don't want to bother to read:
Quote
Yes, that does mean that if you don’t make your money back in 90 days, we will increase your mining capacity to up to 2 Terahashes!

It will be 4 times the BJ. And from an HF point of view it would be just plain stupid to discuss it.
1551  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 20, 2013, 12:01:55 AM
Upper limit is 2TB. We can all agree the upper limit is hit. end of discussion.
The upper limit is not 2TB. Please try to read that again. It's not 2TH, either.
1552  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 20, 2013, 12:01:13 AM
I wanted to answer that you just have to look at the exact wordings of their MPP, you don't need their HF_CL to come here and explain that to you. And i can confirm that, it's there for you to read. However this piece would have been a funny way to answer at those saying that the only possible delivery date has always been December:

Quote
Example 1 – You buy a Baby Jet from HashFast for 50 BTC and we ship it October 25th. By January 23, your machine has mined 60 BTC. You are happy and the miner protection is not needed.
1553  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 19, 2013, 11:50:17 PM
The MPP uses the BJ as a base unit. If the BJ does 5TH, the ceil limit of the MPP is 20TH.
1554  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 19, 2013, 11:37:47 PM
marketing BS as we always know. at least one area where they were sucessfull.
We must congratulate with john.
Wait, no, it's easy to have good sales if you promise the moon. So no, they can't even get that thing right.
1555  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 19, 2013, 08:56:35 PM
If you know something, people who lost a lot of money welcome you to talk, even in private. If you don't, we have no need to be trolled, HF is already enough. (thanks).
1556  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 19, 2013, 08:51:00 PM
Get ready to have as many qualified people as possible to testify that what they sent you were not working miners (if that was actually the case).
1557  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 19, 2013, 08:27:59 PM
Ok, so what are they waiting for to publish a video to screw other new customers? YouTube ran out of disk space? (just out of curiosity, it was gonna happen just after the google acquisition).

They could and should just mine with their amazing new chip themselves.
1558  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 19, 2013, 08:11:57 PM
Yes, they will ship saturday, that is just another way to say that they are gonna ship on monday, maybe.
The fact that they are now communicating with press releases is really interesting, btw.

I hope that they simply gave up and decided not to ship/refund.
1559  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 19, 2013, 05:23:12 PM
Is that a way to tell your customers that the "silicon" works without actually showing even a screenshoot of cgminer? My guess is that puppet this time might be wrong (and i would start adulating you in that case, puppet).
1560  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 19, 2013, 09:01:14 AM
Am i wrong or the current design doesn't have sockets to attack board/chips to anymore?
