1961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 07, 2021, 03:16:42 PM
One of the reasons why binance smart chain becomes this big right now is because ethereum gas fee is very high and this force some projects to switch to BSC but what do you think will happen once ethereum gas fee goes lower in near few months? Will BSC faced same fate as binance DEX? Or BSC will remain the better option over ethereum?
BSC is centralized network and running based on PoSA so they can process more number of transactions per second than ethereum. But once these shit projects moved to BSC then the ETH network fee will be lowered but there is no definite time period to say when this will happen.

But people calling BSC is an alternative for ethereum is a bit contradictory since both are different from decentralization even in the future ETH PoS is more decentralize than 21 stake validators of BSC.

I wonder how many validators will be "allowed" on Ethereum? The Ethereum PoS I read about makes it hard for all participants to fully participate as full validators... it is kind of limiting and breaks couple of Blockchain ideals. That's basically what certain PoS consensus do, they make it difficult for everyone to participate in full consensus... Not really good for decentralization.  And it can be quite risky to make staking on such PoS low for all participants. A better model that is very fair for all and safe for the network is needed , I will be abit shocked if binance provides this model.
1962  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Do you do in your free time? on: April 07, 2021, 02:51:35 PM
If by free time you mean time you do nothing after working hard and getting tired,  I normally would rest abit longer than normal if it's Saturday & sometimes Sundays. This normally allows me to be refreshed and work better on work days.
I just don't bother myself doing too much work on this important days unless they are necessary work, or works that have to be done on the resting days. I typically submerged myself in good educational materials on thesame days after good rest, and things get  clearer and are absorbed better than in normal days.
1963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoins as a gift? on: April 07, 2021, 02:25:36 PM
Well, I would give if she can make good use of the coins. And you have to make sure she is worth that amount... so, that should be for people who can properly manage the money and wouldn't be too shocked when you hand it to to them. I have read stories of people who unexpectedly win huge prizes from betting and misuse the money or couldn't handle it.

If she doesn't really qualify by the above standard, I would split the money and share to more people.
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge traded by AI? on: April 07, 2021, 10:06:54 AM
I've been analyzing Dogecoin market on Binance for quite some time and there's a  strange pattern the way it's being traded
- It's being traded extremely fast with great precision for the bot to make money (If there's an AI)
- Elon Musk in past said he's working on a trading bot, Maybe all that Hype's data regarding Doge coin is being fed to the AI and it's improving continuously2324-.
- I'm not saying there is no other bots trading bitcoin, there are infact in used Gunbot but the way Doge coin's being traded regardless being a crypto of no great potential is insane.
- What do you guys think.

Wish you could state the pattern you observed so people can tell whether it's AI or not. I wouldn't be too surprised if it's both AI and people. Random traders could be affecting the way the bot/AI works though, unless the programmers/owners understand the market and how people trade really well... or they even control how people trade.

if a person want's their privacy respect it if they want to go anonymous respect it,
Don't force them to come out but about Satoshi's personal information I guess even if some say that they are or say that this is Satoshi Nakamoto the creator of Bitcoin,
I guess we wouldn't just believe it without any solid proof to clarify it since there is so many impostors claiming they are the creator.

That's part of what makes me unconfortable. If he actually ask for his privacy then It'd be OK to avoid attracting too much attention to him (even if the information about him is public). I wouldn't be really happy if I'm regularly talked about publicly whereas I asked or pleaded that my privacy be respected.
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction markets Augur on: April 07, 2021, 09:30:18 AM
I had Augur Prediction Market bookmarked many months ago, haven't really used it before. I guess why I haven't really tried it yet is to verify it claim to be decentralized Prediction Market. I kind of like what I heard about it but I don't want to be disappointed hence ignoring it for now
1967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling company that did hit the jackpot during the pandemic. on: April 07, 2021, 09:21:00 AM
I believe a Betting Company has to be moral, beneficial to both customers and society. Part of what makes betting companies immoral is dangers they expose customers to. Lot of the betting companies allow customers to take big risk or gamble... I guess that's what you are referring to as  "Problem Gambler?" in your post. The problem with that phrase is that gambling is always a problem, and Problem Gambler sound more like Tautology. The General term for companies/markets like that should be "Betting/Prediction Market", the dangerous betting market or those that allow big risk or irresponsible predictions/bettings should be regarded as Gambling Market. There is no such thing as "Safe Gambling" either, Gambling is simply "taking big risk". Gambling in Betting Market is same as taking big risk in Betting Market.

The Betting/Prediction Market has to be safe for bettors or predictors. Bettors shouldn't be allowed to take big risk, nor bet with what they can't afford to risk/lose. And if you are not a skilled/experienced/successful bettor, bet with little amount occasionally, or with no amount atall, unless you are skilled bettors who make profits consistently... And the Games/Competitions/Events you bet on have to be moral/good.
1968  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to move on on: April 06, 2021, 04:14:20 PM
I suppose the mother of your 1 year old child is already your wife? I think that will determine my advice to you on how to behave to her grandmother. By the way, I wonder who "cut it all off", the girl or the grandmother?
If she is your wife, she is yours and no one can separate both of you.
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins replace Fiat currencies in the future? on: April 06, 2021, 02:29:53 PM
I actually hope they do. I believe it's better to run fiat on public, transparent, decentralized system/network than on private, opaque and centralized one. Most of the countries can have their own stablecoins. The governments will still have the legal power over the stablecoins, but there will be more effective checks/balances or accountability due to increased transparency offered by truely decentralized and public system/network.
1970  Other / Off-topic / Do not expose people to harm on: April 06, 2021, 01:50:36 PM
Some days ago I saw some "sensitive information" about satoshi shared on a section of this forum(Bitcoin section), I was abit worried and wanted to discourage or speak against it but changed my mind realizing that the information has been available publicly on satoshi's Bitcointalk account for anyone to go through. I concluded that the person or thing copying and sharing such information may not have done anything immoral/illegal if he/she/it has no bad intention, doesn't misuse/abuse the information or doesn't expose the owner to harm or risk with the way the information is used

I think it's better to use such information privately as a researcher or share them with people that would never abuse it. In my opinion, people who would not care to research about such information could misunderstand, misinterpret or know things about him that shouldn't be known by any kind of person.
1971  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you can't be rich by owning crypto on: April 06, 2021, 10:58:12 AM
I was wondering  few days ago:  "what if we just make the value/price of bitcoins to be based on the things of good values they were used for in the past. That will mean that each coin will be priced based on what they were paid/exchanged for in the past. If you get paid for providing good services/goods, your coins will be worth more in terms of price and value. If you provide bad services/goods, it will be worth less.
This will probably make the coins unequal or priced differently, and we wouldn't be needing to price it in dollars/fiats, stablecoins etc
1972  Economy / Economics / Re: Are "Work Ethics" & "American Dream" a way to keep people working hard? on: April 06, 2021, 10:36:42 AM
People/society should work according to the purpose they were created for. The ear cells should quit trying to be like eye cells, likewise other cells trying to emulate different cells.

You don't work for selfish purposes. We work for the common good of people and society.
And certain people think certain kind of job are bad or are unnecessary, the question is how do they know that? Everyone should do what they are talented/gifted in, honestly and morally... and GOD will be pleased. It's not always about becoming rich, it's about using your businesses/talents to make society and people better. There are businesses that are bad for people and society, yet people get rich off such businesses. It's not supposed to be so. Everything you do must be pleasing to GOD ALMIGHTY, and we are told to work hard for others.
If you could remove the bad/immoral parts of people's work, and people who do such work are talented/gifted in them, you will likely know their true purposes.

1973  Economy / Gambling / Re: Balance Removed from CoinRoyale on: April 06, 2021, 10:04:39 AM
I guess the betting site admin or customer service did not understand you clearly in order to give you an accurate reply. By the way, what betting site finally gave you that reply... CoinRoyal or Fortunejack? I'm not really sure if he/she understands you, assuming you are looking for the owner of the address which you probably claim you mistakenly transfer the coin to, or a virus/feature/setting changed the original address you intended to send the coin to to this current one? I expect he/she will make it clear to you, or help you solve the problem.

I think you could try to know from the admin if he/she can help you know exactly when the coins was moved(seems it was moved 3 days later after it was received),   where it was moved to, who owns the address/account, whether it's illegal to refund users funds after they have been moved by admins after the one year period.
I hope he/she can still access the archive though, maybe ask if he can? That should help solve the problem.
1974  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the future of the internet? on: April 06, 2021, 09:04:18 AM
Observing current trends, it can be assumed that nothing good will happen with the Internet. There will be even greater control, degradation of the Human and even greater propaganda for even greater control.

I think that in the future, people will be able to use the real Internet by Nature without crutches in the form of technology. I mean intuition, the ability to find the necessary information from the Information field of the Earth and the Universe, where there is everything that can be imagined. But we are not yet ready for us to acquire such abilities.

Such ability has to come from "The SOURCE" of life and all good things.
If you get connected to the the wrong "internet" you are connected to evil kingdom of darkness. Ofcourse, we are connected to the "Physical" Internet which is still controlled by the one who controls this World... what we do with it (for good or bad) is what matters.  But we need to have an alternative that is moral/good, decentralized, safe, very transparent, controlled by all honest members/participants  etc.
I believe we need to completely avoid bad Internet. We mostly need to be connected to Holy Spiritual "Internet"... and also the good "physical" Internet , when necessary. The good physical one has to be good, safe, decentralized,  transparent, immutable,
1975  Economy / Economics / Re: A Decentralized Roadmap To Compete With Elon Musk/Tesla: The Open Source Car on: April 02, 2021, 05:01:13 PM
observations of decentralised practices:
"wait for someone to do the hard work. look at it and if its good copy it"

yep. this method is seen in many places
-miners do hard work. nodes just validate and copy
-bitcoin creator does hard work piecing code together. altcoiners just copy and fork
-wall street apply for ETFs. when one is finally accepted every wallstretter will copy the template and get theirs accepted by default
....
its a form of precedent. once something is set as default. everything after can just use that reference
..
big automotive businesses are smart. they dont have to rush to EV for a decade. so why waste time/money on their own R&D when they can wait around for others to develop the tech and work out the bugs and do the hard R&D .. and then later big automotive can just open a factory and start at step 50. which took elon a decade of R&D to get to

innovate does not mean invent..
it means make changes in something established

so why go through the expense of invention and then R&D when you can let elon do that. and then you wait until all the bugs are worked out and then just copy from his template

why invent the battery. when they can just let elon pay panasonic to invent the battery. and other manufacturers just buy the end product. much cheaper

Interesting points.
From my experience, if you are not that connected and try to do things your own way(even if your own way is good) , you will run into alot of problems. And alot of times when you consider what you have to go through to succeed, you just prefer not to continue with the development of your ideas.
I think crypto space makes things abit better for independent creators. It just needs to have the right tools that protect all kinds of developers, as long as the ideas are good. Your adversary will be busy working hard to stop you from breaking free completely. You just need the backing of the ONE who is greater than the adversary in order to succeed.
1976  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle pain? on: April 02, 2021, 04:09:43 PM
Diverting attention can relieve the pain. I usually lie in bed to sleep when it is very painful. When I fall asleep, I can't feel it anymore. Cheesy

I guess diverting the attention to things that can produce feeling that is opposite of the pain.

I usually prefer to let my pain stay, then try multiple things to see what works for me consistently and very effectively.
As a religious person, diverting attention to deep prayers, having enough faith, deeply focusing on GOD's Words  work for me always. .. But sometimes i feel I don't have to keep bothering GOD for thesame pains/illness I most likely caused myself by always allowing unhealthy things like bad foods/air into my body, probably due to the environment I live in, and that I'm unlikely to stop living in soon ...  I then decide to try multiple natural treatments like:
1. drinking blended fruits/vegs,
2. drinking warm water,
3. drinking warm tea/herbs,
4. doing nice things to people (which kind of increase happiness/joy) , etc.
I think doing 1 to 4 (esp 4) works consistently for me... but tend to work gradually rather than immediately.  The faith-based ones work quickly/immediately.
1977  Economy / Economics / Re: Could Bitcoin Smash Socialism in Venezuela? on: April 02, 2021, 02:52:19 PM
This is a write up by someone who doesn't understand the fact that crypto IS socialist,

Crypto is not socialist, crypto is pure capitalism.
Those that had money to invest have made more money, the ones that have zero to invest have zero.
There is nothing that resembles socialism in crypto in any way, no matter how much you try to twist reality.
Well, crypto IS socialist in the sense that it doesn't give the rich people power to change bitcoins situation, in capitalist nations like USA and UK we see how rich people get away with whatever they want because they are rich, hell banks who gave mortgages to people got bailed out when people failed to pay their mortgages but the people who couldn't pay weren't bailed out, why? Because someone with a home is not important to capitalism, but rich people are important.

Crypto doesn't separate, poor or rich everyone is same on blockchain level. And yes there were obviously failed socialist states there is no denying that, but I do want to ask, provide me with ONE nation that was managed by socialism that didn't have dictatorship and failed. You will have hard time because all those dictators you see on "socialist" nations do name their country socialist since quite frankly they do screw every citizen equally to be honest.

I have named scandanavia as great social democracy example, can you name me one nation that is capitalist and as good as that? I doubt so.

A Cryptocurrency Network is more like an Autonomous Nation with users/participants that share in its good Ideals/principles.
Users are meant to understand, and accept its ideals and be bounded them. Anyone can build or own company on a true Cryptocurrency Network, whether you are fan of socialism, capitalism etc. What should keep everyone working together in harmony are the ideals. You can build whatever you want ontop of a Crypto Network as long as they do not violate the community ideals/principles, if not, you should exist as foreign body and not have power to influence the network.
1978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: April 02, 2021, 10:42:10 AM
My worst was probably losing $5 dollar on a centralized exchange as matured crypto user. I was always cautious trading with amount I couldn't afford to lose on exchanges back then. And preferred to control my funds and use safe/truely decentralized platform with reliable escrow service.  Before then, I made up my mind not to lose any amount on centralized exchanges due to many cases of people losing their funds on them then. It was quite shameful to me to lose even a dollar on things I spoke against and thought no sane person should be losing money on them.

My first (as a newbie) was sending my Bitcoin to an investment platform and never earning any income from that. I was actually expecting that and was quite prepared, so I don't consider it the worst.
1979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie finding his way around crypto investment on: April 02, 2021, 09:53:31 AM
I keep feeling hesitated and crypto keeps growing, enough is enough, I'm new to this space and I'm looking into investing in altcoins, I have 1200$ in USDT right now and I can only take risk with 200$, I'm looking into vechain and harmony, looking forward to hear from people on here, are these two altcoins worth the risk? Can vechain hit 1$ in weeks??

Better to "risk" the $200 on useful cryptocurrency projects that have little/to no risk.   And I would invest that on True Cryptocurrency projects that are based on Bitcoin Principles/ideals like Decentralization, transparency, immutablity, censorship resistant, privacy/anonymity, safety, fair rules, permissionless/trustless,  public concensus, deflationary coins/token, etc.
If you find such projects, make sure they very useful, safe, have dedicated and well principled teams who will never compromise on the important ideals... then you can invest that amount long-term
1980  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 02, 2021, 09:30:15 AM
bitcoin and altcoins are our greatest hope in returning power back to working middle-class people.

There's a huge difference between Bitcoin and altcoins. Bitcoin is a safe and secure network with proven track record, altcoins are mostly scams and wild experiments that lead to nothing. Any altcoin that claims to have some important use for society must actually prove it on practice, otherwise it's just words.

How does Bitcoin give power to middle-class people? Its adoption is still very low, it's not replacing fiat currency. Exchanges are tightly controlled, so there's no cryptoanarchy going on.

It's was created to be worldwide decentralized peer-to-peer network.
Honest Network participants are supposed to run full nodes and take part in full consensus without restrictions. That's power to the community/network. Participants can be anyone, by the way.
I think it's good to have all/most participants run full nodes and I believe satoshi wants that too.
I also believe he anticipated it would become difficult for most participants to do this things if new technologies to make it possible aren't invented. Do you think it's not possible to achieve that today?
