2061  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: July 05, 2017, 01:06:44 AM
In my own opinion gambling is more risky than trading, because in gambling you can not sure by your money if it will back or you can earn profit. In trading is you can achieve profit. In gambling there is more risky you need a knowledge and strategy so that your money will not lose and to know the strategy that your money will not lose and you can earn profit. In trading is the easy way to get money, its safe to put it in trading. Trading is it depend on you, but in gambling is if your luck or to win or to lose.

Yeah, but the thread says about skilled-based gambling, what means it's like trading, skills will determine your profit or your loss on long term. This kind of gambling is Sports Betting. I think both are equally risky, as both are skills based activities. Who has more facility to trade will do that while who has more facility to bet on sports will do that. And who doesn't have any of those skills will just role the Dice hoping to have luck.  Cheesy
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: July 05, 2017, 12:44:51 AM
Limit is a must when we talk about gambling. I always set a limit bet, so I never spend more than that amount on that day. And if I lose money I wait a good time until start playing again. I try to forget about gambling and I try to always play with low amounts of money, this way I can control my bankroll very well and make it last for a long time.
2063  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and bad scenarios on: July 05, 2017, 12:10:27 AM
Quote
Thus Bitcoin can be used by powerful nations (say, the US) to ruin weak governments from inside entirely via economic measures without violence or blood (unless authorities start prosecuting people for using Bitcoin, of course)
[/quote]

It smells only vitimization for me. There is always someone taxing the USA as a villain while the poor countries are victims. If the USA is rich it's because they worked hard in the past to build their country, if the poor countries are in precarious situations for a long time already it's because their own people. So, I don't think that is a negative impact that Bitcoin can generate.

I can't even imagine how powerful countries could ruin other countries via Bitcoin.
2064  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: July 04, 2017, 11:45:29 PM
I still think the best way to earn money and build a business is by fulfilling basic essential human needs.

Or by selling things people don't need but for some reason think they need to have.

Maybe that is where the focus should be.

Food is usually a good source of money to start a business. Restaurant, food store/market or to sell meat directly to people. If you choose a meat that has a good price in your country the profit is even bigger. People need food to survive, and they need it every new day, so there will be always a customer ready to spend some money with you.

Nondurable goods are very good to sell, it's an eternal cycle of sellings to the same person (if you offer quality, of course).  Smiley
2065  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin making people an Introvert on: July 04, 2017, 11:37:17 PM
Most people here are introvert. I believe this happen because people here don't trust each other, as it's a money focused forum, there are too many scammers, thieves trying to steal money all the time and as almost everyone here is anonymous, anyone can be a scammer by the other's eyes.

That creates a mistrust climate where everyone looks introvert. Also, the focus here is to make deals, so people aren't too worried about being extrovert and making friendship with others, they just want to make their deals, make money and that is it.

2071  Economy / Services / Re: So I Have this Idea (constructive criticism please) on: July 04, 2017, 01:39:29 AM
There is a issue about the circle being completed. The first person who has joined the referral  circle cannot join under any other below his downline, so the circle never completes for the snake to eat it's own tail.
Secondly, if theoretically proved, needs to be experimented on physical presence of all the participants, without which, there will be literally no mechanism to measure the inputs and divide the outputs accordingly.

To make this work well all the participants should be linked to only one account. One account will refer all the rest, we could call him "manager". He will share the profit based on the activity of each referral, so this one must be a trusted person.

A group with all participants in any online platform can be efficient and a frequent update can help to spot inactive members to remove them from the group.
2072  Economy / Services / Re: So I Have this Idea (constructive criticism please) on: July 03, 2017, 08:08:32 PM
This is wrong section for this subject.

I think you are saying about share referral comission with your referrals, right?

It works, but you need to know exactly how much each referral is producing, some sites don't display it, they just show the maximum comission you earned from referrals, making near to impossible to know how long each of them is working. Some will work more, some will work less, so the pie must not be divided equally.

Depending the sites it can work, just make sure the referral comission is showed in details, from each referral specifically.

so......a pyramid scheme?

If they are sharing comission it's not a Ponzi scheme.

But I think OP wants to invest in Ponzi schemes as well (cloud minings) to practice this system.  Smiley
2073  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: July 03, 2017, 07:58:49 PM
only crazy people don't wanna rich and basically all of human had Insatiable nature although they're already rich maybe they always want more richer and richer so if most people in the world became rich people i think there is no worry about economic of the world and everything it's gonna be fine because we're still need each other even there is a chance to see more better world and there will be no more Famine

They are not crazy if they want to become rich, because there are people who are contented on their way of living. Maybe the cost of living to those places aren't that high and they are living peacefully and in a happy way they are not having some shortage for their needs. But of course money is necessity, in my situation I want to become a rich person but if I'm going to be in the middle class that's also a blessing.

Only few people don't worry about richness, those people who choosed to follow a spiritual life, these people usually organize themselves in little communities where each one help each other, but anyway, they need money to survive, even it's not their focus.

But all the rest surely want more money as they can have, some will do everything for money, these are dangerous people that don't have moral limits in their lifes. Others will try to do what they can for now, since it doesn't harm other people, maybe the maximum they can reach is the middle class, but if so, it's already a big victory for who came from the poornest and it's a victory for who is from middle class to reach at least to a high middle class.
2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make sure you don't lose money on: July 03, 2017, 07:12:20 PM
Impossible, you excluded the only option to make this work, the PVP mode. Players can't play by themselves against the house without 0% house edge. Ads, donations, expensive withdraw fees, nothing will guarantee you a safe sustainable system.

Also, you will have high difficulty to attract investors to your site to fund the bankroll.

What you could do is to set a low house edge, and when the site start making profit, like for an example, 20 BTC profit, you set 0% house edge until you lost the 20 BTC profit, so the house edge back to the normal again. What do you think?
2075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: July 03, 2017, 06:56:58 PM
I've became interested in playing dice games with my BTC but every time I play I lose. Is there something that I'm doing wrong, or dice games are supposed to be like that? (sorry I'm new to this) Isn't there a guide or tutorial where I could get started playing these games? I don't know how this really works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks  Wink

So far, I like dicecoin.io  Cheesy
So every dice strategy is basically 100% profitable, the limitation that prevents you from winning is your Bankroll. The first thing gamblers think about when they start gambling is that "I can not loose forever" Yes, that's true but all the strategies requires a big bankroll to be "safe" and the safer, the risker you have

And even the gamblers had infinity money the house doesn't allow you to increase bets infinitely. There is a limit on every site, like in physical casinos. The games are made to give profit to the house and few lucky gamblers only. It's very well calculated and organized to don't give any little chance to make the house lose on long term. People are still trying to do it, but seems impossible.  Smiley
2076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where should i invest 45 BTC risk free on: July 03, 2017, 06:28:19 PM
I am new here but even I know that nothing is risk free in this world. Bitcoin holders believe in bitcoin future and in price increase, by them just holding is the safest way to make profit, but like other
members above me said even that is not risk free. 45 BTC is $115k and that is a lot now, just with holding that can worth double for one year or less.
I must agree here and probably repeat what is said many times on this forum, it is best to split the money into several parts and if something goes wrong with one investment you will still have back up
plan, safety first is one of my rules.

Yes, and just like what old timers says here: Diversify. It is still not a risk free, nothing is risk free specially in investment, but I think not putting all your eggs in one basket will help you mitigate the risk of a lost. And yes, I think you have the patience to hold into it. So if I were at your position, holding is still the best option and the safest for now.

That is what I do... I don't have a lot of money, but does't matter, it's always good to split the investment among some sites. FreeBitco.in is a good option, Casino bankrolls are a good option, to just hold a part of these Bitcoins is good too.

If any of the investments go wrong, you will have all the others still working and able to let you recover your losses. However, investing in Bitcoins you can never avoid to have losses if the BTC price decreases, what I don't believe that will happen, but the possibility exists.
2077  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ▲ IS 80 - 120 Satoshi Every Hour A Good Satoshi Claim Amount,? on: July 03, 2017, 05:53:49 PM
I think it's decent for the currently BTC price. If the claim is easy, better.

People who says it's less than 1 cent, it's too low payment... Who uses faucets don't use only one faucet to make $0.002 every hour, faucet users try hundreds of faucets and they claim fast when acknowledged with the system. Surely the rewards aren't huge, but if there are faucets it's because there are people thinking they worth.

With 5 faucets like this one OP says it's already 1 cent profit hourly, minimum. 500 faucets like that - $1.00 hourly, minimum.
2078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Marketing - Ideas to promote bitcoin on: July 03, 2017, 05:40:29 PM
If someone is store/shop owner, could create sales, like if you spend X dollars in items or if you buy X items pricing Y dollars you receive some satoshis as gift... So people will ask: what is satoshis?

Surely not so big amount of satoshis, as it's very valious, just a little amount to make people aware about Bitcoins. If they want more they must buy it or earn online. The only problem is that it doesn't worth to move little transactions as the fees are too high, it disturbs a lot the Bitcoin marketing.

The poll shows most people think they can double their bankroll easily, that is how the house makes profit. They don't stop until they double it, and usually the long loss streak comes among the last bets to reach to the doubled bankroll. They could exit the game with 60%-70% profit, but they don't it, because they want 100%! And the other who think they can reach 0.1 BTC or 0.5 BTC starting with 0.01 BTC I doubt a bit, it happens once in a million of times...
