2081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the balance problem of cryptocurrencies? on: January 16, 2022, 09:58:16 PM
What is the reason for the fluctuation in cryptocurrencies in this period? Are cryptos losing interest, as some commentators have said?

Or are these declines an intervention by whales for market picking?
We need to realize that sometimes crypto could become a liability and sometimes it is an asset. If you are just buying with the hopes of getting rich quick and you fail, you are holding a liability in your hands since you may also need that in the near future, you didn't calculate it becoming an asset and you just wanted to turn a quick profit.

This could result with people using their rent or loan payments on crypto, a horrible idea but people do it anyway, and they end up selling for a loss. If you want to get into crypto, then buy it for the long term, think of it as something you can't touch for 20 years or until you find a better investment. When you are ready like that, and hopefully making a profit, you will get in more and more and you will be ready to actually make money from your own money and do not have to work again, that's how you build wealth.
2082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who creates more impact in bitcoin price the Hodlers or Investors? on: January 15, 2022, 09:09:21 AM
The two main factors of bitcoin market hodlers and the investors sometimes I query myself about how much impact they have made in the price of bitcoin.

Note: The hodlers are early abductors of bitcoin that held their funds till date
The investors are the early abductors that sold and invested into their business then later invested their profits into bitcoin. E.g Michael Saylor or Elon Musk.
Actually there is no difference between those who you call investors and those that you called the hodlers. They are both the same, and it is all investment, whether you decide to hold it for a long time or just for a short time. When it comes to investment, there are short term investments and long term investments, so it’s all about the investor and how long they can be able to have patience. And both of them can make impact in the market.

There’s always money that is still going in and out of the market, and it doesn’t matter whether it is coming from someone that is investing for a long term or short term.
2083  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms useful? on: January 14, 2022, 06:39:33 PM
I am also not familiar with the platform that the OP has mentioned,. Only went to search for it on Google after reading his post, and the site came up so I clicked on it to look at it and see how good it is. And from what I’ve seen so far it seems quite good, and is a platform that teaches people how to trade cryptocurrency, and provides tools and trading advice that you might need, such as  technical analysis and the rest of them.
Newscrypto is a nice platform for learning about cryptocurrency trading. There are lot of things that you can learn for free on their platform, and I think your friend should make use of it because as time goes on as long as he continues to take his studies steady, he’s going to benefit from it. But, he should be very careful with the way he makes use of his capital in trading, because no matter how good things might seem to be, there are still times that the market wouldn’t be that good and you will end up losing money. Try to let him know the necessary that he can use to help him as well.
2084  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin? on: January 14, 2022, 02:12:06 PM
I wonder when the price of Bitcoin will reach $ 100k +. Because at present the approval of bitcoin is increasing in different countries. And different countries based cryptocurrencies keep coming to the market. From that point of view, it is expected that the price of Bitcoin will increase the most.
How different countries' based cryptocurrencies will be having positive effect on bitcoin market? Or what do you mean by that? Because, I am seeing that some countries are developing or already introduced their central bank based digital currencies which are not positive for bitcoin market basically (at least in short term). So far, only one country has declared bitcoin as legal tender but they are not buying bitcoin for billions of dollars but buying like a low level institution which is the reason that news is not bringing any impact to bitcoin market.

in the next few years, the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise, so long-term Bitcoin will continue to improve. What is your opinion?
Bitcoin is always positive in long run and we do not have any clear idea about the trend only in short run. Yeah in next few years bitcoin must be trading above $100k levels but the price level in next few months is a mystery.
2085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy fundamental tokens, what should I buy? on: January 14, 2022, 10:58:51 AM
I am a conservative investor and only stick to fundamental analysis. Therefore, I buy only fundamental projects with prospects for the future.
You sound like you are good and experienced in your approach but in the world of altcoins, any cryptocurrency could be replaced by another advanced coin which must be a repeating event in altcoin industry hence your fundamental analysis may not help you in long run. I am saying this because litecoin, dash, monero were leading in altcoin space few years back but now preferred coins are something completely different ones.

I already have in my portfolio: Near, Sol, Dot, Luna. What else should I buy?
Could you justify how strong fundamentals are for these coins; moreover you must build a portfolio based different application based coins for diversification reasons and here I guess sol and dot are based on dapps.
2086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to buy and hold on: January 14, 2022, 05:40:11 AM
I don't know about you but for me I will only hold coins for long term if we see a unforgiving bear market ( better buying opportunity ), I believe bear market hold the key to long term holding, I can't buy coins at high price sorry ( present market is buying at high price) and decide to hold for years, I will only buy now to sell later ( short term ).. stupid idea? Let's hear your thoughts
Definitely a stupid idea.

Adopting short term trading just for the reason of high values of crypto is showing about your misunderstanding on crypto investments. I agree that no one could afford right away $43k to buy and hold bitcoin but why you bother about the price of cryptocurrencies now.

You must need to bother about your monthly affordable fund to invest into cryptocurrencies. It can be $50 or $100 or $500 or $1000 or $2000 or even higher than that. Just decide and buy cryptos only for that amount and keep your cryptos for years.

When you regularly buying cryptocurrencies then you will start seeing about your portfolio value increasing slowly over the years which might get you at least 10x growth of your investment money for the case of bitcoin investments.
2087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: January 13, 2022, 09:58:09 PM
Tron will only be where it was supposed to be if the project is been handled by another CEO not Justin Sun, the reason why Tron remains in the same spot all this years is because developers end up abandoning the platform for either ETH or other, if things are going smoothly with Tron why would they switch? I found the leader as the real culprit, the only thing Tron did well is ease transaction, gas fee is more cheaper using Tron
They should really be concerned about issues like this, and try to know why developers keep leaving their platforms for others like Ethereum, and so on. Because if they keep letting this happen, they are going to be the ones that are losing, as other platforms will keep taking away developers from their platform.

Because all these smart chains, their main way of being successful is through the number of tokens or projects that are being launched on them. So, the more that they have projects being launched on their smart chain, then the more that their platform is going to see further growth. So they should try to solve whatever issues that they are having with these developers, so that they can stay back and continue developing on their site.
2088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strike has launched in Argentina on: January 13, 2022, 09:32:56 PM
I can see this as the beginning of a new era for Bitcoiners in Argentina. The ability to exchange their fiat for Bitcoin in an easy and cheap way will help many in there.

This might even position Argentina as a candidate for becoming the next country that makes Bitcoin legal tender.
The most important thing is that their government embraces it, and continues to allow people to make use of it. If their government does not allow it, it is going to be a bit of a challenge for some people to be able to make use of it. I’m not sure about them making Bitcoin a legal tender.

El Salvador has done it, and it’s good that they did, but we are not really sure if other countries are going to follow them to do the same thing. Right now all we can be asking for is that Bitcoin continues to grow, and also that there should continue to be more adoption of Bitcoin everywhere around the world.
2089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: January 13, 2022, 09:03:25 PM
Today, you have seen how the bitcoin price down to a level which no one has expected due to which many of the traders made losses but in short term trading it is normal to get a loss due to bitcoin
I am not ready to agree that this kind of bearish market movements are unexpected. People who are into bitcoin market for years definitely expecting such kind of market situations always and if you are having enough funds in back up then you should go for buying the dips with plans of holding for long term; this way long term holders are making use of bearish market.

wise is that person who hold the coins whether it is bitcoin or any other coin through which he wanted to make a good profit.
If you are good in technical analysis then you can go for frequent buying and selling still the market is too smart to trap you at any point. This is the reason long term holders never prefer active trading.
2090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make $ 1,000,000 out of $ 30,000? on: January 13, 2022, 08:21:04 PM
What's the guarantee that you will buy again BTC at 40K USD and you won't sell everything, right after the price crashed down to 20K USD?You have fallen in the trap of of panic selling once, you might fall into the same panic selling trap twice.
Yes, that is the problem of people who never believe into the future of bitcoins; they definitely will get trapped by panic selling or by whales manipulation. If OP took time to go through this forum then definitely might have decided to sell off their bitcoins for a loss. Yeah, if we manage to hold bitcoins then definitely we will get profits in 3 to 4 years which means we never need to sell in losses.

It is possible turn 30K into 1M,but the possibility is really low and I don't believe that some inexperienced crypto trader can achieve this.
Moreover in my opinion, it will be highly impossible for any trader to make 1 million dollar out of 30k dollars. Because consistently making profit may not be possible for anyone but holding for years may do the trick.
2091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Underrated Trading resources on: January 13, 2022, 07:24:02 PM
I just wanna share some of the best, honest and non-bullshit trading resources that I found on the internet.
Thanks a lot for this topic which is one of the useful topic for all traders here as it must be worthy one to bookmark for frequent referring and to suggest to all the beginners who come up here for searching resources like this. I just wanted you to confirm that all these resources are used by you for some considerable period of time and verified. Also, it would be too good if you open up on what are the basic criteria I need to follow to suggest you any useful services I am into for suggesting here to add into your list.
2092  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC: is it really bearish? on: January 13, 2022, 02:56:29 PM
I know that everyone is eager to see the price hitting $100,000 because it seems that we have been 'programmed' but some prediction modelling that we are going to hit that price.
Yes, everyone is expecting like got "programmed" because we are all got used to such 10x growth in previous 2 cycles of bitcoin markets. Repeating of history is most common scenario in all markets hence it seems no one is hesitating to speculate about the possibilities of reaching $100k in this cycle. But, pandemic might be playing a spoiler role here.

people now see the bear market slowly getting into the picture. So if you are still bullish can we still get into that 6 digits? or a new all time high around $70,000 but not going to reach $100,000?
We cannot say that we are already into the bear market as bouncing back may happen at any time. Support around $40k is strongly holding and bitcoin is trading positive since last Sunday hence probably we might have reached the bottom of 2022, who knows?
2093  Economy / Economics / Re: US inflation jumped 7% in December as prices rise at rates unseen in decades on: January 13, 2022, 09:42:18 AM
I believe bitcoin was designed for this situation. Lets see how will it react.
That is what bitcoin is for, it will be good to hold bitcoin than keeping fiat. You are specifically talking about US but there are fiat that are far worse than US dollar, more inflation in such countries. The worst investment I have seen is the people that are convinced by banks to hold fiat in fixed deposit for years, the people may not know that their money will not have value like people, the value lost will be more more than the interests they will be paid.
This time around I am making sure that a good amount of my money is being stored as Bitcoin or any other good cryptocurrency, but most especially I store my money with Bitcoin. This is very important, and over the years I have reaped the benefits of doing that.

Whenever I receive my monthly salary, a part of it goes into Bitcoin and I just keep it there as savings, and then the rest stays in my bank account, and that is where I do most of my expenses. Sometimes I can also decide to do a little bit of expenses from my amount that is stored in Bitcoin. I just try to balance everything, and it has been really helpful, if there happens to be inflation, I am not losing much.
2094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to enter the market and buy altcoins? on: January 12, 2022, 09:52:35 PM
The market situation is not the best and no one knows what to expect, there is a fear of investors in the market. Since the recent drop, bitcoin has lost 40% of its ATH, the fear index has reached 10, and even the altcoins that performed better in the correction, such as NEAR, ATOM, have also lost a little in value. We hit the baseline BTC support of $ 40,000, which we got off to a good start last time, and went to the new ATH. Bitcoin dominance at the bottom. And today we saw a rebound and a small rise in BTC and the market as a whole. Perhaps this is the beginning of a new rally? Is it time to enter the market? I think yes, since we are not that far from a possible second bottom, and even if the lease continues, in any case, we need an upward correction.
Definitely a great time to pick up some coins. I know that not all of us have stablecoins stashed aside waiting to use them. However I have to say that it is clear to me how we are doing something that is dangerously great and at the same time terribly risky whenever we put our own money into crypto and take a huge risk, and I do not mean like savings and all, I mean literally money that we are risking and need.

It is always said that if you can't afford to lose that money, then you should not invest with it. However unless you are putting up your rent or something, it is clear that you would have spent that money and you could have still lived without it if you invested. I probably have like 200 bucks every month that I could put aside, which is a huge amount in my nation, but I usually spend it, save like 50 to 100 each month depending on the month.
2095  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want your happiness. on: January 12, 2022, 09:30:32 PM
No one won't dispute the fact that everyone wants happiness but not every opportunity is worth your time, say for example that you are a billionaire, and you've been presented with a million dollar opportunity but you know that it's only that and you will have to spend billions worth or resources to make sure it's going to be successful, would you take it? Pretty sure that most will say no. Choose the opportunity that you want to get in.
Everyone wants happiness, and when you are doing something and you’re not getting that happiness you need, then it is best to avoid such thing. Anything that I choose to do I always make sure that I’m doing the things that I’m going to love, and also things that whenever I am doing them, I will be happy doing those things. I’m not in for the kind of things that I will feel frustrated whenever I’m doing it.

If you choose to be doing something that will frustrate you, something that doesn’t make you happy when you engage in it, then it is not worth it. Although sometimes some of us do choose things that are not meant for us all because we think that we are going to make profit. But it’s usually best to do something that you are passionate, and good at doing.
2096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: January 12, 2022, 09:08:09 PM
Tron has always lost out to Dogecoin because of the huge dogecoin community, tron must immediately realize this if it wants to compete with Dogecoin. I feel like tron is a good network project just less growing and has a little community.
Tron's weakness is that the number of enthusiasts is still lacking and there has also been no special update on it over the last few years so it is still often difficult to compete with others including Dogecoin, but if Tron wants to improve himself to be better, then he will be in a better position good in cryptocurrency.
It is not really easy to understand how Tron managed to fail getting some attention. It was a very cheap and very fast blockchain that had smart contracts available and few projects under its belt. I would have guessed that they would be doing fine, I owned very little for a very short period of time so I am not saying this because I lost money or something, never had too much in it and got out so never lost any money from it ever.

All I am saying is that people were interested in ADA for some reason and it became third biggest coin, even above ltc and bnb and so forth, whereas they didn't even had a working product. So it shows that people invest into hype and not the fundamentals all that much, if it was fundamentals people cared about then they would have put Tron to a higher regard and it would have been above ADA for the past year or so.
2097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 12, 2022, 08:21:10 PM
Consider an analogous question: is it possible that $1000 cash in a safe at home can "work for you" without opening the safe or revealing your identity or address? I think the answer is probably no.
That is right, you don’t just keep your money and be expecting it to work for you and you’re also at the same time trying to stay private or something like that. When you are ready to make sure that your money starts working for you, then you would be ready to do what is necessary for you to ensure that your money is actually working for you.

Unless we are going to say that whoever is looking for this kind of opportunity would take advantage of the fluctuating price of Bitcoin, and just hold it in their wallet which would be a non custodial wallet, and when the price increases or decreases, they will be standing a chance of either making profit or losing.
2098  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice for the season. on: January 12, 2022, 10:22:44 AM
The keyword is "spend wisely", I mean people probably need quick money to buy stuff during new year and early January anyway especially myself, I do need this money for my needs for this month to pay college and stuff. I have been saying this so many times and it just depends on the people itself, they probably need money in urgent compared to "rich people" in here.
It’s not bad to buy things, but it’s good to always give it a second thought before buying anything at all. You should break down every thing you’re planning to buy to needs and wants. And then know why you really want to buy these things, because sometimes, some of us are not really in need of most of the things that we do buy, we just buy some things simply because we see others are buying it and we want to be able to do what others are doing or be like them. And at the end when you look at all these things, you would see that they have no meaning at all.
2099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can i detect new growing altcoins ? on: January 12, 2022, 05:16:12 AM
I think, you should have to stop thinking about instant returns, you can't get that one if you are not working hard. You'd rather spend more time in the market and learn more.
This is the problem that I do see on all the newbie investors these days as we can see most of the topics here are on what are next bitcoin or next ethereum or what coin is going to produce 10x returns in this month or in next six weeks of time etc. Yeah, no one is ready to time the market rather everyone in on the hunt of instant profits that too no just in 5% of 10% but they want 5x or 10x.

It is still better to check out valuable projects like BNB or ETH, as you have the assurance of their market. With new coins rising tremendously, they can also go down hard without a warning.
Yeah, there are 99% chances for those new coins to get dumped hardly at any time after a significant pump. But, those valuable and reputed coins will bounce back even after any dump. But, newbie investors do always ignore this fact.
2100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Profitable coin for 2022 on: January 11, 2022, 09:56:48 PM
NFT and Metaverse are my targets. I've seen a lot talked about everywhere, telegram, facebook as well as forums. I want to invest in projects with the concept of NFT for the medium term and Metaverse for the long term.
I understand that "metaverse" and "nft" are buzzwords that people are looking at right now. But they can't be a target, it is like saying "I will buy some crypto", that could mean you will buy bitcoin, that could mean you will be some shitcoin as well. Not all NFT's are profitable investment and not all metaverses are profitable neither. You should be making sure that you are doing the irght thing by checking the projects and seeing how they are doing.

I personally wanted to invest into some axies, but looking at how they are doing right now, there are not that many good looking future prospects of it. If the new game and land doesn't work out, they will suck for a very long time and will drop even more which is bad considering they have already dropped so much in the past 3-4 months. So it is quite important to pick a good and high potential project.
