2161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This December is a weird one on: December 31, 2021, 09:05:18 AM
Is this December actually playing out like the past December? Cos right now it looks like this December is a black one lol
As today is the last day of this December, I guess this must be the right time to conclude about this year's December month with respect to cryptocurrencies. Unlike previous bull year's December month, I guess we have somehow better December this time. Previous year's December were known for bringing a final ATH but this time we had by November itself still December has only sideways but not steep falling markets.

things are going side ways and all those crypto chillers on YouTube aren't even catching the trend of what's going on, so what's your own opinions?
I always listen to this community rather than any of social media. Sideways market must be a good thing because it may trigger bullish trend at any time hence I am just seeing this December month as a preparation phase for 2022 bull run.
2162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your altcoin predictions for the new year 2022 on: December 31, 2021, 06:31:36 AM
2021 is almost over and attention is gradually shifting to 2022 and most investors are already on the look for the next altcoin for profitable interest in 2022 lots of them are now going into metaverse and others rely on NFTs for 2022.
I guess that we are going to have NFTs to be outdated in 2022 as we might be having some other shit to be getting popular out of some social media infulencers. Yeah, these trends will keep on changing and if you switch over your investment plans more frequently then you may end up biting the dust. Anyway, we can expect lots of surprises in 2022 at the same time nothing will sustain until 2023 Wink.

Still going with the conventional altcoin investing style. Never go with the newer ones or those that are very risky to invest with.
You must be doing the perfect way of altcoin investments. Sticking with reputed coins will definitely help you to avoid big disappointments. Still, I am seeing SOL in your list which is in my eyes not good even these days people prefer it for lower gas fees.
2163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best no KYC exchanger that does not store date on: December 30, 2021, 09:59:46 PM
I'm looking for exchange that does not store any of your personal date and does ask you for KYC. Besides using DEX, what can you add to the list? As well as your personal experience. My current experience.

 - Withing EXODUS wallet (exchange got stuck, they forward me to 3rd party exchange for support)
 - Changelly within ledger live (not clear if they will ask for KYC or not, different info on both webs, waiting on clear reply from support)
Instead of having to go through all these stress, why don’t you just go straight to DEX? I don’t know what makes you think that you’re going to be able to find a centralized exchange that doesn’t require you to do KYC before you can be able to fully make use of their exchange.

Unless you’re going to try Binance, which would allow you to use the exchange to some extent and after they would start to limit you and you would still have to do your KYC. The simple solution that you have here now is to just make use of DEX. And for your information Exodus wallet is not an exchange, it is just a wallet that is decentralized, the exchange that you see there is a third party and you will even register your email with the third party exchange, Changelly.
2164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical aspect in trading on: December 30, 2021, 09:42:07 PM
I don't believe in any technicalities in trading as trading is based on skills and the right trading analysis, when you talk of technicality then you will be looking for features that are not available in trading so just develop trading skills and trade with your developed skills.
I think you are confused about what the technical aspect of trading means. When you say skills, you already accept there's a technical part to trading.

Skills is the ability to predict which way the market will move, right? And how does that come?
Based on your ability to read the charts and analyse whether the market is showing signals for a crash or pump.
2165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: December 30, 2021, 09:24:41 PM
Gambling industry is on the move in the last years. Legalisation across Europe and USA has forged new empires, online gaming has received all the positive impacts from COVID confinements and it seems that is going to be plenty of consolidation in the future. What is your personal bet on the next big events in the betting industry?
I feel like decentralized gambling is a huge move in itself, I mean we can verify our bets now using the provably fair algorithm which is insane. Sometimes I feel that fiat casinos are missing a trick by not implementing these games because it brings more trust towards the casino. What stops the casino from cheating a player on slots? Nothing!
2166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling company's responsibility on: December 30, 2021, 09:10:21 PM
Some company give gambling licenses. Curacao company, UK gaming company (UKGC), Danish Gambling Authority etc. Curacao Company licensed some prominent betting sites. Do they monitor after giving license? Now a days a lot of betting sites have  gotten license from Curacao but their support is not up to the mark. Even some betting sites scam with customers. Even this forum we have seen some gambling sites negative review.
1Xshit is a classic example of how you can have a license and still scam players because the license provider doesn't give a damn about players and all you need to do is complete the formalities and pay the license fee. I heard from someone that all these license providers are also biased towards the casino so in case you turn up to them for a scam accusation or report they will simply ask you to contact the casino and if at all, they will favor the casino only.

For crypto casinos, I think I rather prefer a casino with a reputation and history of paying players rather than a licensed casino but new and that has issues. One reason behind this logic is the fact that licensed casinos can ask for KYC much quickly and for no reason while anonymous casinos let you win and withdraw without any hassles but of course, they must have some background or history of operating.
2167  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we in a bear trap? on: December 30, 2021, 08:14:21 PM
100k will happen, its the opposite as stated there that somehow everyone knows its just a dream.
We have already touched 60k and even 70k I believe so 100k is not a dream but a very realistic and near-future price, possibly. So, by considering the potential of bitcoin and about on-going adaption rate, I guess we are going to have another strong bull rally which might be taking us into new heights.

Bear trap might be a right term to call the current scenario of bitcoin market as market is able to hold above $47k levels which means we still have stronger supports around $45k to $46k levels hence upside movement would be the next thing we are going to have as of now.
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: December 30, 2021, 07:29:17 PM
It must have been a huge disappointment for Dortmund, not having been able to qualify in this group. And that while they had started the group as favorites to even win the group. After 2 games 6 points and now eliminated. They also lose quite a few millions there. And Haaland will now leave in the winter or in the summer, so next season in the CL it will only get harder. Maybe they can achieve something in the Europa League. It just has a lot less prestige.
Surely this was big disappointment but when any team is having some good number of injuries than they have no choice specially in big event like this.

In start, they were very good and beat teams ruthlessly but suddenly against Ajax they lost their form and few good players which give them very big upset defeats, so now they have their lessons from these matches, and they are doing some better with announcement that they are very keen to win this UEFA Europa Cup this year which is not easy as we have some very good number of teams also in hunt for this title we have to wait for two months after this break hopefully something good will happen for few and others have to wait for next year.
2169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 30, 2021, 06:29:55 PM
Have anyone watched the today semi finals of the under 19 Asia cup ?
India and Srilanka have defeated Bangladesh and Pakistan respectively in the semi finals. Now we would have the final between India and Srilanka tomorrow.

India would be favorites to lift the title of this Under-19 Asia Cup.
A very good competition between rising stars from Asia in early matches all teams done very good job and Pakistan was favourite after beating Afghanistan and India, but they were completely overconfident after beating India so Sri Lanka done very good timely job and beat them in very low scoring match by 22 runs now we have final between India vs Sri Lanka where India is favorite and have very good chance for winning this title.

Very shocking news from South Africa as De Kock suddenly announces retirement from test cricket after losing first test against India; the reason he mentions he wants to spend more time with family.

2170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play2earn games on: December 29, 2021, 09:54:16 PM
How good will Play2earn games be that someone can rely on them for daily weekly or monthly income? Axie infinity was a blast but now it's no more a easier option for people that are struggling because the requirements to play the game is highly costly, are there free to play crypto games available?
Honestly the amount of time it takes to recoup the initial investment is horrible in most of them. That is the biggest problem, if you spent nothing and earned 50 bucks a month with it, then it would be fine, versus a situation where you spend 1000 dollars but make 100 dollars a month. I mean if you see a 10 month recoup period, it looks and sounds more like "what could happen in 10 months" situation.

People were able to make a ton of money from Axie 10 months ago, not so much right now, and probably a lot less in 10 months again. Most games have this trouble, they can't make consistent profits to people and that causes many people the leave the games by selling all they have to get out with minimum loss or just doesn't worth the profit anymore. Unless you are some guy with 500 Axie and dozens of scholars, it is not really worth it to do it yourself anymore.
2171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Crypto Altcoin Projects likely to make you a millionaire on: December 28, 2021, 09:49:51 PM
I browsed through your list and while some projects are indeed interesting (I am also a fan of the GET protocol), I don't believe you can become a millionaire by investing in these projects except if you invest a really large sum in it. This is a classical case of DYOR, so guys, be carefull before investing and always take into account, that you only invest with money that you are willing to loose.
I have the same feeling and suggesting to others what to invest in on a public forum is a very risky aspect because if things go right people may give you some praise but if things go wrong they will be blaming you like you own the project.

I had a friend whom I suggested investing in BTC in my early years and the guy lost some money and we lost friendship etc and trust me it's not a fun situation to handle at those times.

@OP I would suggest you to put a bolded reminder that these suggestions don't guarantee you profits.
2172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 28, 2021, 09:24:29 PM
Napoli and Atalanta are very unstable teams, but this season Napoli is performing much better than it was before. It would be more accurate to say Napoli was better at the beginning of the season, because there was a streak of unsuccessful matches in which Napoli lost too many points. I do not think that they will be able to rectify the situation, because the crisis in the team has not yet passed. We will be able to see what the team is capable of in the match against Juventus.
With current form and history of matches between these two teams Juventus is clearly favorite for winning this match and have some good for their touching into top 4 spots because recently Napoli is giving too many points against very low rank teams and their injuries list is also very big which is the biggest problem for them in remaining season. They have some hopes for staying here, but it needs some good form and good news about their good players, those are out with injuries for last few weeks.

If they are able to beat Juventus in this match then surely they are having again very good time for challenging leaders Inter for this year's title and having good chance for better results against Barcelona into Europa Cup match after few weeks.
2173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 28, 2021, 09:08:57 PM
The new week is closing in. The opening game is in three days and it is between Valencia and Espanyol. Valencia have been one of the impressive teams of the last weeks. They have had a three-game win streak lately. And they didn't lose a game for a long time. I can't say the same for Espanyol honestly. They were winning and losing consecutively these times. Their inconsistency could cost them three points here.
After very bad start in early days of this season now suddenly Valencia is playing very good with their current form is giving them some good chance for having a spot in next season's European chance because few teams already losing their spot due to very bad form and this can help them at very crucial time of this season.

Espanyol away form is worst as they lost 4 matches and have only 1 draw against Elche so with this all now if Valencia wins this match surely they will jump into very good spot with some good time for having their strong hold until end of this season which is very good for them.
2174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: December 27, 2021, 09:30:51 PM
You have a good zeal by not giving up despite all the huge loses but before you go back into trading try as much to learn more about trading as to reduce the rare of lose. Don't go back without updating your knowledge about trading. Since you still have the urge to trade go for it, but learn first.
I agree it's important to realize that trading isn't for everyone. There should be no shame in accepting that fine trading doesn't work for me so I will try to do something else that works well for me. I am not saying OP is egoistic but I have seen people who can't digest the fact that they are not good at something and they will try and prove others that they're good by continuing doing the same thing.

You are losing money in trading = stop, simple as that. Do you feel you made a particular mistake and you can improve? Fine, resume trading but make sure the mistake is eliminated and new ones are not coming in.
2175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 27, 2021, 08:09:43 PM
ICC knows exactly whats the financial worth of every board they talk with them accordingly. ICC and BCCI both goes hand in hand, since its ICC who stops cricket for two months for IPL. If India want more share from ICC then ICC need more cricket and new countries joining in. Its best in interest of Big 3 that new countries wont join the cricket eco system.
What you said isn't false but there is more to it.

First of all, yes during the IPL time the entire world is hardly playing competitive cricket but part of that is because TOP players from around the world come to India to play the IPL and their boards are paid hefty amounts to let the NOC for the player to pay in the league.

Secondly, ICC is not a rich board and depends on the earnings from individual boards so while the logic says they should support smaller regions, the reality is that ICC can't afford it.
2176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: December 25, 2021, 06:59:14 PM
Imagine you have been holding bitcoin for 10 more years with high expectations surely you won't regret it so it depends on everyone situations and expectations but keeping it low and realistic will give consistent returns while holding long may suprise you with hige return or upset you with no returns but before making investment be ready to lose the capital.
So far bitcoin has proved that in real time. The longer we are holding bitcoins, the higher the return we could enjoy. From all these, I am really hesitating to agree with OP because there will be no point of not holding bitcoin for rest of our life.

There should be some exception for every conceptual thing and this way bitcoin investment must be one of the the exceptional investment opportunity which could be worth to be holding for entire life. I guess there could be bitcoin like few altcoins also might be available hence we cannot have any general opinion on holding period of any cryptocurrency.
2177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin market has been dumping so much for months on: December 24, 2021, 08:31:26 PM
I think that another important reason why we are seeing such a slow December is that people are afraid that another crash will happen similar to the way the previous bull run ended, so instead of seeing the increase in the price we were expecting the markets are in doubt of fully committing to bitcoin if we were going to see another crash at January, however I think that once investors see this is not the case then the price will begin to go up once again.
But, since yesterday's late session, we are having sustaining bullish trend which made bitcoin to be trading above $50k levels which means we are not having sideways December month anymore but we may have bullish days for the remaining days of this December.

Now market seems like confident along with decent volume across major exchanges which might be a good sign for getting into FOMO. Already bitcoin managed to stay above support levels which might have gained confident among institutional investors who are all going to be the core reason for making bitcoin into $100 before the first quarter of 2022.
2178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where I can check the crypto events calender? on: December 24, 2021, 08:00:14 PM
Expect from coinmarketcap where i can check about crypto events
Simply you can follow any of crypto news portal which must be an enough resource to keep tracking about major crypto related events worldwide.

If you want to know about upcoming ICO/IEO or airdrop/bounty programs then I guess no exact thing will help you as you must need to follow at least more than 5 different platform. Moreover, it may not remain profitable if you participate in ICO or airdrops.
2179  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make money day trading Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2021, 06:46:31 PM
if we know more about trading and improve our knowledge and skill, earning a profit every week is very possible. However, it wasn't guaranteed that it becomes a 100% return of our capital, and losses still be feasible during the full week in trading.
Finishing up a week in profits is something different from finishing up a day in profits. If you target to close your trades within a day then you may face lots of challenges. If you open a position as per your technical and wait for 2 to 4 days to book profits then you can get plenty of chances to finish your week in profits. This is being termed as short term based trading which must be better than day trading.

Only trading with the expectation of targets to be achieved within a day is a big problem in crypto markets due to its high volatile nature. If you give time for your positions then you may get assured profits in long run given that your skills in analysis is decent enough.
2180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is staking coins? on: December 24, 2021, 04:00:27 PM
I have this friend who built doge coin mining farm to get some coins and stake them the question is how good is staking?
Staking dogecoins? I am not sure, will it be at any exchange or anywhere as dogecoin itself a POW coin. POS may not remain profitable for you which must be the reason why most people are not recommending it. We need a real life application based coin and if it can be staked then we may go for it. Just speculative coins are not good for staking.

Without buying mining machines, the risk is impermanent loss or we will lose even though it benefits in value because the forecast price drops considerably.
But in long run, we are not making any returns as the coin itself getting heavily dumped by the staking rewards which must be a biggest drawback of POS coins. I had experiences with few staking coins and I am still holding RDD and few other POS coins but none of them are able to get me my capital amount but I do not have plans to sell off them right away. I may keep holding them.
