2301  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be Aware Fake Ads Electrum Wallet on Chrome on: October 27, 2020, 11:45:14 AM
I tried using different browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Opera Mini, and the results were the same when I tried to search the Electrum wallet on google. I think the reason why this phishing website is on the top maybe because many people had clicked on this site when they tried to look or search about Electrum. Sometimes, we should use a separate device when we tried to search our browsers because not all sites we see on Google are safe to visit.
2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: October 27, 2020, 11:23:28 AM
I really understand that to avoid scamming is very easy because not everyone involves and also believe that scamming is in existence because many people have not experienced scam, if I'm not mistaking, to avoid it, is very clear and quite understanding to people who can control their emotions via investment platforms, what causes scam is over interesting over money, due to excessive profit to acquire in period of time, to avoid bitcoin scamming call - off - investing bitcoin ponzi scheme and do not think to be  rich .
There are two things why other people haven't experienced getting scam. First, they are smart enough not to get trick or deceive by scammers that they already know all of its tricks, and lastly, they are not interested in earning money. So if you want to avoid getting scammed, you need to learn how to control your greed and research before you risk your money in projects.
2303  Economy / Economics / Re: China is looking to get rid of the US dollar on: October 26, 2020, 04:38:28 PM
US dollars are valuable since they get the Petrodollar deal with the Middle Eastern nations. As the world expands its economy and energy into other forms, the oil will decrease in proportion. For the US dollar to stay strong, they will need to find a place to liquidate their currency.
A common currency is a good idea, and now I see it as Bitcoin. It has global liquidity, is limited in quantity, and is community-owned.

In the distant future, we may witness another fiat currency replacing the USD as the world's reserve and trade currency. But I am sure that it is not going to be Bitcoin. I don't think that any of the countries would back a decentralized cryptocurrency to replace the USD. All the major powers want their own central bank currencies to overtake the USD, not some cryptocurrency.

did usd was replaced before ? Afaik it isn't yet because usd is still the standard unit of all currency so far that are being used the most then there's euro and the other one which I forgot ,  sorry.

I don't know if it's possible for usd to be replace as the national currency but if ever it is , that won't be Bitcoin because Bitcoin is from the other world.  There are countries that can back a crypto but that is if they proudly made the crypto , China for example .
Indeed. There is no way that China would replace or get rid of the US Dollar because it is the strongest world currency that billions of USD are circulating worldwide, so how come that China can make it possible to defeat the USD. We all know that most manufacturers are now in China because of the abundant labor, but it is still impossible because even bitcoin can't replace USD due to its decentralization.
2304  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin for tasks ? on: October 26, 2020, 03:07:29 PM
Some projects are looking for developers, content writers, video editors, graphic designers, etc. If you know about doing these kinds of things, you can apply for it and earn bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies other than buying or investing your money. You can also join signature/bounty campaigns and airdrops in this forum because others are doing these as well.
2305  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Anong nangyari? on: October 26, 2020, 01:43:55 PM

2306  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Situation :( on: October 26, 2020, 01:21:44 PM
There are really lots of odds and bad happenings this year 2020 that we have not expected for we have a really positive outlook and perception from 2019 wishing that year 2020 will be a lot more better compared to that year then this situations have happened that surprises all of us which literally comes to us where we are all unprepared for such thing to happen. But we cannot just complain all along and we must just still keep going and do everything we can do to somehow help ourselves surpass and survive those situations. Giving up is not the best option to choose. Just keep on fighting and do your best shot on every things you do. Stop complaining and do the working because that would be the most essential thing to be done.
Everything in this world never goes as we planned; that is why we are unexpectedly experiencing this kind of tragedy this year of 2020. Giving up is really not an option for you to continue to feel pain, suffering, and useless. We should keep moving forward, as long as we can stand up and endure the problem, so we can reach our dreams and survive in every bad situation in our lives.
2307  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: October 26, 2020, 12:10:14 PM
I think the DeFi hype is not yet over because the only reason why every DeFi has decreased all of its value due to bitcoin's sudden pump that it maintains or stay to it's $13,000+ price. So it only means that many people convert all of their coins into bitcoins because they may assume that bitcoin will reach its ATH again.
2308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why criminals still use Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2020, 09:45:33 AM
From my point of view, Criminals will still use bitcoin as part of their illegal activities such as money laundering, illicit trades, scams or frauds, etc. Until there is always a way or a solution to allow them to transfer their funds privately or anonymously, criminals cannot be tracked or traced by the authorities if they used Bitcoin Mixer to get away with their crimes.
2309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: October 24, 2020, 09:22:36 AM
The you think defi a a threat to the future of centralized finance? What's your opinion?

I don't see DeFi as a threat to the banks, because,at the end of the day, banks will simply buy and adopt DeFi technology(if they see potential in it).If there's no potential in DeFi,then this technology will simply die and nobody will use it anymore, just like how the ICOs died, back in 2018.
Seeing DeFi projects and banks as two opposite armies, which are going to war against each other is a big oversimplification.
Yes, there is no threat for banks as two are in different form. Actually people trust bank more than such kind of projects. Banking system will be continuing in future.
Decentralized finance truly has no threat to centralized finance, such as banks. Even DeFI is the best alternative financial solution because people will definitely trust banks more than Defi due to the government's authorization, and it existed a long time ago. But as we continue to develop the same as technology, more people will use DeFi.
2310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: October 24, 2020, 08:54:17 AM
If online gambling starts to regulate by the government, so they could have funds to support their COVID problem is an excellent idea because hospitals will not worry about treating their COVID patients. But not for everybody, especially for online gamblers, because it might increase its fees. There are chances for players to limit themselves from playing because they need to save money not to pay expensive fees.
2311  Economy / Economics / Re: How Can Blockchain Improve Healthcare? on: October 24, 2020, 08:27:03 AM
I like the statement but the problem is the government mostly the health organization will doubt all of these because we all know that human records are one of the most important details that's why the records are only exclusive only to their company.

The objective is good to save the record through the blockchain but again there are a lot of people already skilled through makes data breaching we prevent that. I will seek more information and question about this statement because this is a good initiative too.
There is no such thing as a perfect technology that is 100% secured or can protect all of your sensitive data. So no guarantee using blockchain technology to save the medical record and for healthcare systems cannot be accessed by hackers without authorization because there are many great hackers nowadays.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 24, 2020, 07:37:16 AM

The good thing that their managements have come up with a strategy which they can still play and continue whichever league or sports they are playing.
The consideration and resolution that they have for these players and their organizations made us, the fans really happy.
And the team needs to do it because they also needs to be paid and if the game wont progress then there should be a chance that the management will give them up so things must go to proper place again.
But yeah fans like us will be very happy now that action is back though we wanted to go in real watching and not just Via Online that sometimes making me Bore as i use to watch my Fav Team in live gaming.
Yes, it's part of the plan. They get a salary based on their contracts and if they wouldn't follow the agreements, they'll receive no salary.
The protocols are their utmost priority to be followed to continue the events. We saw them how they've come up with an idea and I guess most of us didn't thought of it.
It is why the organization and sports association have managed to continue their sports events for the fans and sports bettors, even we are in the middle of a pandemic, as long as players, managers, staff members, and fans are following the safety protocols. Their salary truly depends on their contracts, whether they lose or win, so if there will be no games or events, they definitely won't get paid.
2313  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH? on: October 24, 2020, 07:12:31 AM
Following PayPal information, Venmo allows payment of its services in BTC, ETH and a few other tokens, the price of BTC has increased sharply, sometimes surpassing $ 13,000 and is still holding at $ 12900. But why is the market reacting so positively?  BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH?
I don't think that bitcoin's price would increase up to $20,000 after PayPal accepted cryptocurrencies to buy, sell, and shop with its network; even bitcoin has already reached its $13,000 price thanks to Paypal. It is still impossible for many people to be convinced to buy or invest their money in bitcoin because people have some issues with PayPal when it comes to making transactions, and they don't let us keep our private keys.
2314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fastest blockchain? on: October 23, 2020, 09:42:23 AM
I never calculated how fast the blockchain is. The first time I sent crypto was bitcoin, it was long enough to get into my wallet. And I have tried using Ethereum, NEO, Tron, and Lite coin, I think their blockchain is faster than Bitcoin.
Every blockchain technology is fast. The only reason why it takes longer for you to complete your transactions in bitcoin is that bitcoin has many users compared to other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, NEO, Tron, Litecoin, etc. Miners on the bitcoin network only prioritize transactions with much higher fees before they confirmed it, so if you pay a higher fee, it will lessen the time of your transaction to be completed.
2315  Other / Archival / Re: Why you should not use Paypal for Bitcoin on: October 23, 2020, 09:16:50 AM
It is an awful idea to use PayPal to store our bitcoins because they sometimes randomly suspend users' accounts without any warning and notification. PayPal is a custodial wallet that we don't have any financial freedom with our assets or bitcoins because they don't let us keep our private keys, so they are full control over our funds.
2316  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: At last, I am a Senior member. on: October 23, 2020, 07:46:56 AM
I want to congratulate you, mate, because you have achieved a Senior member rank in just a few months in the Bitcointalk forum. I think you deserved this kind of achievement because even I joined this forum in 2017, you are more committed and dedicated to making efforts and engagements to help other members in this forum. I also think in just a few months; you might already achieve to be a hero member by the end of the year.
2317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling thoughts. on: October 23, 2020, 06:44:13 AM
1. Which one do you prefer, Casino gambling or online gambling?
Casino gambling because it gives me a much better excitement when I play with my friends and opponents face to face.

2. How much money are you willing to spend on gambling?
I only bring a $100-$200, so I could avoid playing gambling all night at a casino.

3. How do you manage your lose streak or win streak?
I will only stop if I lose the money that I bring, or I already recover all of my losses.

4. If you will have $1000, what game in the casino you are going to play?
I will play poker and baccarat because these games always help me double or triple my profit.

5. What is the best advice that you can give to a gambler?
Only gamble for fun and entertainment and never let your greed to overcome you because you could lose everything in your life.
2318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy BTC from PayPal now that they are letting people do it? on: October 22, 2020, 11:02:34 AM
PayPal started to allow cryptocurrency on buying, selling, and shop with its network. It may be convenient for others to hold and buy bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But I will not buy bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies on PayPal because I have encountered issues in using PayPal a long ago upon receiving a transaction from a friend, and they didn't return my money. We may also not have any financial freedom with our bitcoins because they don't give and let you keep any private keys, so it is not secure to store your bitcoins with it.
2319  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal to allow cryptocurrency buying, selling and shopping on its network on: October 22, 2020, 10:09:27 AM
This is one of the biggest news this year about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. If PayPal has already allowed cryptocurrency to buy, sell, shop on its network, there is a chance that all banks would now enable the use of cryptocurrencies. It is why bitcoin's price surprisingly pumped and surpassed $12,000 within a day, so many people would now take a risk to hold and buy bitcoin.
2320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: October 22, 2020, 09:44:46 AM
<...>

I think you already mentioned the answer you're looking for. Playing roulette is all about guessing what number will appear to win, so it is all about luck. Roulette is like playing lotto, there's a lot of possibilities, a lot of sequence on which number will be the key of winning. The more numbers of choices you have, the lesser the price you'll get but the odds of winning is higher compare to betting only single number on which the payout is huge but the chances of winning is very low.
Indeed. Roulette is a very straightforward or uncomplicated gambling game that is similar to a lottery game. You only need to guess the number from 1-36 and 0 and 00 that will appear on the roulette wheel. I also play roulette in a gambling casino and an online gambling site because it is also a thrilling and exciting gambling game. Still, it would be best if you definitely had the incredible luck to win a considerable amount of profit.
