1501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: “Bitcoin is the laughing stock of our firm” on: April 15, 2021, 09:49:53 AM
This would simply made my day if I was there during that time but for me it is a waste of time to try to even argue with them as they could either be a troll or just a person who isn't open-minded at all. Spending your time arguing with them is something that you must not really focus on as Bitcoin time and time again would just make them eat their own words just like how JP Morgan and other companies have changed their views towards the crypto industry and Bitcoin in particular. At least now people who have believe Bitcoin during the early days are sitting safely on a profit while these guys from 8 years ago might now be trying to buy Bitcoin at 60,000$ a piece.
Its not that their aren't open minded, they just don't know how to make sense out of bitcoin because conventional market is ingrained in their core that it challenges their beliefs and we all know that when people have their beliefs challenged, they tend to disagree with the facts and they disregard the potential of something.
1502  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ARK Investment Fund bought about $246 million worth of Coinbase stock on: April 15, 2021, 09:08:28 AM
This is going to pump the stock price of Coinbase stock and I am already congratulating the people who bought at the start the Coinbase stock, this is just the beginning but when time goes by, we have to be careful because there is going to be investment firms that are going to short this company and they are known to do any means necessary.
1503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tenants to pay rent with bitcoin on: April 15, 2021, 08:31:43 AM
I've also heard that many people make transactions using bitcoin directly. so this may often be applied in the future if bitcoin in the future will be accepted by the public for global payments in general
It is pretty good that they are using bitcoin to do transactions, I wish that in my country is the same but it seems that it is still far from happening. Although I like the idea of paying in bitcoin with my rent, I don't think that it will only be beneficial to the landlord since the landlord is the one that is taking all the money.
1504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most expensive account ever bought on: April 15, 2021, 07:20:49 AM
I bought a laptop for about ~2 BTC several years ago... A top of the line one, but yeah... It would have been enough to buy a small house in a lot of country's right now.
Well at the least you got a laptop, it was the prices back then and not the prices now that was the cause so there is no need to feel regret. If we only didn't need things to survive daily and we are the same as other rich people, you could still have that 2 BTC. In my country, I am pretty sure that I can buy around 2 or 3 condominium units with that much bitcoin.
1505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FBI uses bitcoin mixers from forfeiture processing. on: April 15, 2021, 06:36:23 AM
I gotta wonder... do some fbi agents take some btc for themselves like imagine how some police bust a drug deal operation with cash etc... like imagine they take some of it?
We don't know that but we know that evidence room is a secured space on any law enforcement agency so it is highly unlikely, also I don't think that they are going to risk it because the benefits of being a federal agent is sought by many people and a little greed won't be enough to put it all down the drain.
1506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin problems that need to be solved on: April 15, 2021, 05:49:23 AM
Security is not a problem, the problem is the people that are using bitcoin are lousy in keeping their credentials safe. I don't know what to say about the second part though.
I do agree with this one, if you are stupid and careless with things that need an utmost security then you shouldn't blame the security of bitcoin because it was your fault that your important information got compromised.
1507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Love the bad news on: April 15, 2021, 05:09:37 AM
Everything is a good news to you if you haven't staked a lot of money into something and you have a lot of money to buy these losing investment and turning it into a profitable one in the long term, I think that it is the only problem that everyone faces when they are investing, they don't have the money to buy even at the lowest point in time.
1508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Simpsons new prediction" on: April 15, 2021, 04:26:08 AM
This cartoon scares me. You know they know a lot until today. They knew about things like trump, kobe bryant, corona. Don't be surprised if Bitcoin becomes million dollars.
I would say that they are a coincidence but there is a limit as to when it isn't a coincidence anymore, I think that this kind of details though is just a joke that the writers were too advanced that it just passed us by when we saw it the first time. Don't make an investment decision based on this satire show though because it is not advisable.
1509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 14, 2021, 10:20:48 AM
I feel like this is a downgrade to what Garcia hopes to fight and I find it stupid that the Garcia's wishes didn't come to fruition. Fortuna might give a decent fight but I don't think that we are going to see any good odds since Garcia is going to be a favorite between the two. I hope that this fight is going to be entertaining at the least.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 14, 2021, 09:44:39 AM
Yes and that should come first and foremost because if you were to decide what time you are going to go off when you are already playing, I am sure that you aren't going to follow that limit because it becomes an afterthought.
1511  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $5,000 Race Every Wednesday! Advanced Dice Game 🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: April 14, 2021, 09:11:21 AM
What browser are you using because Chrome seems to be not a really good one for this site, I don't know if I am the only one that has that problem which is good since it is my fault that the site isn't working, I have shitty Internet though so I don't know which is which.
Chrome, Brave, Firefox. What to choose is personal choice but I would prefer to choose FireFox to use.

Chrome is under Google control and what Google do with their search engine database, user information is clear. Brave browser has bad reputation because they broke the mission and slogan that they focus on privacy of users. Later, they required users to do KYCs if want to claim BAT tokens.
I checked and fixed it already, it seems that Internet was the problem after all, I think I will probably try to use Firefox since Chrome has a big ram requirement. Those tokens are really tempting but I am having second thoughts since Brave failed to do what they were supposed to do.
1512  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC & ETH withdraws | Live games & Slots! | VIP | on: April 14, 2021, 08:30:41 AM
New multiplier contest on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Duelbits/status/1381993077070561280
This time it is based on slot Rise of Olympus and the goal is 250x or over with bet $0.60 (minimum). And @MetalMonkeyThe7 (the guy who won two previous contests) are not going to participate, so anyone has a chance.
So considerate of you guys to not include the previous winner, this kind of thing is a rarity in this forum and almost anywhere. How does this kind of contest work though, I am pretty curious.
1513  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 VipGame.io - 🃏 Unique Games ⭐ Low House Edge 💲 Multi payment options on: April 14, 2021, 07:48:40 AM
This had been an inactive thread and clearly shows that OP itself doesnt have time on making up some updates and now you are bumping up this thread for announcing that promotion.
Maybe they are shorthanded on staff to have an active presence in this forum, other users said that they are active on other sites so maybe they are doing good, they don't have any standing accusations in this forum so I think no worries that they are inactive in this forum.
1514  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the cheapest way to buy bitcoin? on: April 14, 2021, 06:51:25 AM
I don't know what you are talking about the way to buy a bitcoin at cheapest way, I would take a guess and I would say that that the cheapest way is to buy in small amounts, there you can grow your bitcoin and continually accumulate bitcoin. I don't think that there is a cheaper way to buy bitcoin anymore.
1515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my trading is a fail help me, thanks on: April 14, 2021, 06:15:03 AM
I wouldn't trust Facebook for any crypto-related stuffs, maybe news headlines at the least, but for any trade related? Nah.
They can't even take down scams.

Even if you can find Facebook pages that have many likes/followers that has what you need, you're never sure that they're legitimate. Facebook pages being sold are quite common these days.
I agree, most of the time these Facebook groups has a very diverse opinion that you don't know which one is going to work and it is a waste of time to find the right time. I like news headlines but the problem is that you really can't trust them because most are FUD or overhyped.
1516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what way to take profit ? on: April 14, 2021, 05:29:20 AM
The only one that I would recommend is the fourth one although I wouldn't really wait for halving or anything, everytime is the right time to buy bitcoin, if you wait to buy at the right time, that right time won't arrive.
1517  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitfinex stay away. I cannot withdraw BTC. on: April 14, 2021, 04:37:17 AM
Are you somewhat came from US? Bitfinex is somewhat playing this crypto hostage game for a while now, there are lots of users who experienced such this and can't read any of those got resolve.

Better to get in touch with them regarding this and try to make a way on how you can get/make this proof of funding docs.
Damn, why isn't the authorities aren't doing a shit about this case if it was happening for awhile now, I would be livid if more people have got their money hostage and the authorities that should be the deterrent to this never bats an eye. I would suggest that OP should also file some case against this scum of company.
1518  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Defaulted [Continuous] on: April 14, 2021, 04:04:10 AM
I have read it and the moment that the second time that the defaulter promised to pay back, I know for a fact that they aren't going to pay back that loan, this is the biggest risk in loaning online, I hope that OP will get paid and if not then I wish that the karmic cycle will strike hard on this defaulter because they are hindering a business.

They're still doing this kind of thing even though their other site was already caught and reported, hopefully there is less or no victim that is going to fall for it because I don't know what to say about this people falling for this because mixing services is a niche part of crypto and I don't think that a newbie is going to fall for this.
1520  Economy / Economics / Re: The Winklevoss twins worth $3bn Each for buying Bitcoin @ $8 with confidence on: April 13, 2021, 07:49:57 AM
I am slightly confused here. So they purchased $10 million worth of coins at $8 per coin. This itself is suspicious. Because if the purchase price was $8 per coin, then the total number of coins that were purchased amounts to BTC1,250,000. And the net worth of these coins, as per the current exchange rate would be $75 billion, and not $6 billion as mentioned in this article. It looks like the author doesn't know basic mathematics.
Right, something doesn't add up with the numbers, this also means that they are worth more than what the media is saying because if what the media is saying isn't true which is probably most of the time then there is more than meets the eye, also do the twins split the bitcoin in half between the two of them?
