1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scams in Google and Apple App Stores on: March 18, 2021, 06:03:54 AM
I am quite surprised that Apple let this kind of harmful apps in their store, I mean they have the most strict requirements when it comes to app development but here we are, seeing this phishing app operational on their store, I thought that Apple has a security that is rightfully boasted but considering that the flaws found in them are critical, I am having second thoughts.
1742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cambridge Bitcoin Electricity Consumption Index - The impact of BTC in the World on: March 18, 2021, 05:27:31 AM
Including for this reason, I do not see any serious fears of obtaining energy to mine bitcoins. Nowadays solar panel production technologies are getting cheaper every day. The construction of power plants is very beneficial even for individuals on the roofs of houses and it can completely solve the problem of cheap clean energy. The sun can still be considered an inexhaustible source of such energy.
That is if the government and the people is on the same page when it comes to a power plant construction or even solar farms, most of the time people are not in favor of power plants near their neighborhood because of the possible ergonomic hazard and solar farms take up a lot of land and people that care about their taxes will not be easily persuaded. Not to mention that a lot of countries are slowly dismantling their nuclear power plant because they favor coal power plant. Only way to save this is for an innovation in power storage and not power generation.
1743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa: We make it possible to buy bitcoins using Visa on: March 18, 2021, 04:39:42 AM
Binance also has this feature wherein a costumer can purchase cryptocurrency through a credit card. I think it is way more convenient to do that choice than any other when transacting from fiat to crypto most especially Bitcoin and any other pairings. But still not all individual has credit cards some still prefer the traditional way of buying Bitcoins maybe through p2p or any other options.
Integration is still integration in the end, also VISA in my opinion is far more safe to store your bitcoin. I guess if VISA wants to make their service in cryptocurrency more unique than what is currently existing, I think that they should do something about it, but considering them having their hands tied as they are a centralized financial institution, I think that there won't be that much difference that they are going to offer.
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎰Looking for convenient & anonymous way to bet? Join us at DGames & DLuck now🍀 on: March 18, 2021, 04:02:54 AM
The problem with this is that you are clearly stating that you don't have any responsibility when your clients lose their money. I am not saying that you can't do this but with more gambling websites that have this kind of problem, I think that you should address this kind of thing especially you are an anonymous website which raises red flags that you might run away with the money or cheat people out of their money because they do not have an account.
1745  Economy / Economics / Re: Your economic competitor is at the other side of the globe on: March 17, 2021, 09:55:33 AM
Why would someone compete in terms of economics? That is the job of my government, everyone has their role in making an economic progress so doing your role and not worrying about the role of the others will make for a better progress.
1746  Economy / Economics / Re: Brexit Losses Continue to Mount on: March 17, 2021, 09:15:53 AM
British government didn't thoroughly think what they were doing when they were planning to exit the European Union, not to mention that they do not even listen to the people that they do not want the Brexit in the first place. The sad thing is that the average people is going to suffer the hit and not the politicians because they are a citizen in other European countries already so when the going gets bad, they can just migrate to the country that they are a citizen and watch the UK burn.
1747  Economy / Economics / Re: Dorsey to donate his 1st Tweet benefits to charity on: March 17, 2021, 08:36:20 AM
Jack Dorsey worths 12+ billion dollars, that should be good enough reason to donate 15 million dollars that he got out of nowhere, he doesn't need that kind of money at all. In fact he should be paying more taxes than he currently pays and the difference is much bigger than the 15 million he paid, Jeff Bezos pays about 100-200 million dollars in donations every year as well, if he paid even 10% federal taxes he would have paid over 20 billion dollars this year.

These "donations" that the rich does is basically a way to show the world that they are not bad people, that is what they are trying to do, they are saying "we are not taking it all, we are helping others too" and media helps them get the news heard, reality is that they are only paying fraction of what they should be. None of this "gave it to basic income initiative" news brings me any joy.
No, those donations are a write off during the tax season for this billionaires, they are not bad people per se but we all know that they are exploiting people. Imagine if Bezos didn't donate but instead made a livable wages for his workers and have the working conditions of their workplace improved, that will be for the better, you can't donate for good cause but at the same time exploit your workers, that is a little bit hypocritical. This donation to the charity is just a way to promote the NFT that Dorsey is going to make.
1748  Economy / Economics / Re: Your pots of money and thinking long term / retirement / life after retirement on: March 17, 2021, 07:59:46 AM
With the current status of economy and the wages in most countries not going up for over a decade, I think that the only to have a secure future when it comes to finances is to have multiple streams of income, maybe start by putting some money into cryptocurrency or stock market, then do index funds, ETF and mutual funds, or better yet retirement accounts. Or do some side jobs besides your main job, we can't just whine that the government made us what we are right now, those are just words at the end of the day but the reality is that we have to do what others do to make more money.
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Poll Added] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: March 17, 2021, 07:21:15 AM
1st and 2nd to Fury. The man just has it on him, the body, the power, the technique, it'd be quite a huge upset if Joshua somehow made a way to defeat Fury even with that, not that I'm denying that he has a chance, just that it's quite small imo. I'm guessing that Joshua needs to do something, something that could give him an edge against Fury, though that ain't really gonna be easy to find. I do hope for an entertaining fight nonetheles though.
I would do this kind of bet too, Fury is still a strong fighter despite not having any fights for a year. I mean this rest could be a good thing for him to become more relaxed and collected, a little training before the fight starts is going to definitely get a fighter back on track.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: March 17, 2021, 06:38:56 AM
Whenever we lose we always blame luck on it. I would say it is more on lack of self-control when we tend to spend more time gambling we always aim to win and we are eager to win more. Just observe, the longer you play the more you become greedy, we always start at the lowest bet we can to warm-up as time goes by our bet increases, we lose, then we chase for our losses. By the end of the day all your money is gone, it is not because of lack, it is because of poor bank-roll management and greed.
It goes both ways, if we win we also shouldn't credit luck because we are not lucky, the probability landed on where you put your money in so there is no luck there. I always assume that people who blames unseen forces their failings in life that they are also the kind of people that believes what a politicians promise, take responsibility for your mistakes, the unseen forces doesn't care enough about a small universe dust for them to intervene.
1751  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: March 17, 2021, 06:02:15 AM
Judging from their partnerships with a mainstream sports personality and the UFC, I guess yeah.  Sportsbet is right up there too tho.  Their banner and logo could be seen all around the weekly EPL matches which is a huge thing.  At least for me being both a fan of the EPL and BTC...  I’m guessing F1 will be the next thing to go to.
Sportsbet.io deserve what they are now, they are a good website and their services are good, the only way for Sportsbet.io is to go up even further and become more prominent in other sporting events, I hope that someday they will do a partnership with NBA, PBA, and the International (DOTA2' biggest tournament).
1752  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Crypt&Roll] bitcoin Jackpot game on: March 17, 2021, 05:19:35 AM
15 years of experience in Plagiarizing ...  Grin

Imagine they have that long experience but They need to Copycat their TOC?

and not even Bother editing a single Word from it.
15 years of plagiarizing should have taught them that they should change some things from what they are copying. I don't think that the year is a real thing, they just want to assure the players that they do not have anything to worry because they have experience. Man, I never frequent this board because I jump right in Gambling Discussion, but there are some scams that are being promoted here.
1753  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some Nice Crypto Faucets - Updated Regularly! on: March 17, 2021, 04:41:24 AM
What happened to their operation, I thought that they just stopped doing signature campaigns. They are a really good website until the end by letting people get their money out of their website, it was closed yesterday, hopefully they will go back someday.
They stop running their website because of something that we do not know, and I think you can visit their thread to know what the owner said about suspending their website. Yolodice is one of the recommended gambling sites which already operate from a long time ago, and that is not easy to manage the site and get bigger from time to time. Yes, we hope that site can go back someday, but we just do not know about that.
If the reason for them to stop running their website was scalability, I think that I would feel bad about them because that meant that they can't keep up with the success of their website. That was my thought too, what could be the reason for a long-running website to stop their operations.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: March 16, 2021, 11:19:53 AM
I have experienced this several times...
Honestly, incidents like this are unlucky moments IMO. I have experienced events like this several times while playing the 'crash game'. automatically immediately makes a big loss. my advice if you want to play 'crash games' comfortably you should check your internet connection.
You can't do anything about the Internet in the end, I agree that checking your Internet connection in the first place is the best case for something like this. I wish that my government do something about the Internet speed in my country because my country has one of the slowest in the region but at the same time the most expensive. Good thing that I haven't experienced this kind of thing as most of the time, I only do bets which means that I can leave it at that.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site for esport? on: March 16, 2021, 10:24:41 AM
I tried Loot.bet once but Sportsbet.io is a new one to me. Loot.bet is often advertised in some Esports betting sites that doesn't accept crypto so I got curious and checked it out and overall experience I would say is pretty good.
Loot.bet is just like other fiat based sites but sportsbet.io and other crypto-sportsbooks actually have the same odds provider from what I have observed and the odds changes and markets are the same for all of them.

If sportbet.io covers the matches you are looking to bet on, then you should settle with them because they are one of the best sportsbooks we have here in the bitcoin community. There are others as well which allow betting on sports with bitcoin, but sportsbet.io are still ahead by significant margin.
I did check Sportsbet.io and from my experience I can say that it is a pretty good website, pretty easy and hassle free in my transactions, might be because it is small amounts but overall experience with Sportsbet.io is good, I would recommend it because they don't just cover Esports, they have other sports too.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play fewer hands to earn more strategy - Poker on: March 16, 2021, 09:43:20 AM
I don't think it's going to work just playing the absolute premium hands in today's world. This sounds more like a strategy from the 90s and poker came a long way since then. The problem with such a strategy is that becomes to easy to exploit. Once other players understand you only top hands they will just fold to your raise. In my opinion you are going to pay too much in blinds while waiting for your cards. Also postponing is so important in poker these days.
That was my first thought too, playing fewer hands will slowly chip away your chips because there are times that you are going to be placing a bet even though there are no cards dealt yet. The best way to play poker in my opinion is to always get in the game and try to play some mind games with other players, be the unpredictable one at the very least or make it look like you are predictable and then pull a fast one.
1757  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some Nice Crypto Faucets - Updated Regularly! on: March 16, 2021, 08:56:06 AM
I see YOLOdice is still on your list, you might want to update your list. YOLOdice is suspending its operation starting march 1 and its website will be online until March 15 to let their gamblers withdraw their funds/investment from the gambling site.
What happened to their operation, I thought that they just stopped doing signature campaigns. They are a really good website until the end by letting people get their money out of their website, it was closed yesterday, hopefully they will go back someday.
1758  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Made a Crash predictor and need beta testers before selling it! on: March 16, 2021, 08:11:14 AM
Can you post the github of your oracle program? There are some IT people in this forum and they can check whether there is a hint of legitimacy from what you are claiming. Not to mention that these kind of things have been tried in this forum and a lot of them are proven to be scam and to prove yourself to be a legitimate one, you have to provide some evidences that what you are claiming is true. To everyone who thinks that this is true, ask yourselves as to why they are going to sell you this product that says is going to make you more money when they themselves could have kept it for themselves?
1759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin get back to 60K this week? on: March 16, 2021, 07:38:11 AM
60k is a difficult resistance as much as the 40k resistance so we can see some time that the prices are staying in between the 50k and 40k line for awhile trying to break the 60k resistance and I don't think that we don't have anything to worry about because despite this down, the prices are definitely going to go up. Maybe this week is not the time that we will break that resistance but we will definitely break it, there is still a lot of time for the market to recover, its not like it is the end of the year yet.
1760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my first Bitcoin and am happy on: March 16, 2021, 06:54:58 AM
what you did is really inspring me to and I admire you for that!
I have some bitcoin and HODL is my way, it feels boring. for many times, I wana sell my coin but stopped coz people around me suggest that I keep it...
Chill down on your praises, OP didn't sell everything, OP just sold some bitcoin to breakeven which is not that inspiring as many can do that with what they are hodling. What I am amazed is that OP has been hodling bitcoin for 3 years without selling a portion of it, and that I commend. You might want to hodl that bitcoin even if it is boring, wait for the right time to sell and currently I think is not the right time because bitcoin can still go to a higher point and there is still a lot of months to go and many things can happen in that timespan.
