Well, memes are made by poor people for the poor people
Grin Memes are not made by poor people. Why do you say that?

This is the one that I was pertaining too, and I do agree with what it says. I mean memes can be made out of nowhere so in a way even poor people can make it and enjoy it because it is everywhere and it is free.
1722  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Im new.. I have a question for the Pros! :) on: March 20, 2021, 07:39:41 AM
OP, may be you can take us through your ordeal again, and slowly too. So we can clearly understood you and render the needed help. You seemed to have written in a hurry out of anger and frustration.
Exactly, if OP was to just vent out his/her frustrations without detailing what really is happening then even the people in this forum will not be able to help you because there are different types of error and listing the solution is problematic.
1723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's information insurgency on: March 20, 2021, 07:02:35 AM
Great great short piece by him. The boomer finance people simply don't get internet culture. It's not as if only the bitcoiners are posting memes and banter, the whole internet does! And there's a reason why we have a lot of memelords in the first place— because the boomers don't realize how diverse and how spread out the bitcoiners actually are. We have everything! — memers, bitcoiners with controversial opinions, bitcoiners who are downright idiots, bitcoiners that are actually super professional and that truly understand economics, bitcoiners that are solely tech people, everything!
Well, memes are made by poor people for the poor people, memes is the key to freedom of the people. Not to mention that most people in the Boomer generation and those older than them are pretty much had everything laid on to them so they don't have to work hard for anything and now that they are old, they think that the world still revolves around them so they still want it all. Controversy sparks debates especially if that controversy is the truth or exposes the truth.
1724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who leads the frontline for the war against Bitcoin vs Government on: March 20, 2021, 06:26:20 AM
Why do we have to go on a war against them though? I mean all they do is ban, regulate and spread FUD about bitcoin and I think that the last one is a good thing for bitcoin because it automatically filters out the deserving people that should get bitcoin. War is never a good thing in the first place, the only way for bitcoin to grow is for it to coexist and slowly swallow the traditional institutions.
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? on: March 20, 2021, 05:41:00 AM
I still prefer for fiat, but if your asking me from another point of view like "Investing" maybe you already know bitcoin is the best.

In my country i cannot use bitcoin for my daily needs, so i will prefer for fiat.
I do prefer fiat too because bitcoin is not still a niche subject in my country so I will have a hard time looking for businesses that accepts bitcoin and I will look like an asshole if all I talk about is bitcoin, when it comes to investing, I think that both things are best that is if you know where to invest it in, I mean you can have a steady passive income stream by investing in Index Funds.
1726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Morgan Stanley, a big US bank offering wealthy clients access to bitcoin funds on: March 20, 2021, 05:05:36 AM
There are always people, usually older generation, who will always rely on centralization for everything even to handle their money, even if that centralized entity is the most corrupt one in the world and is emptying their pocket!
I suppose this is the trend for at least the end of this bull run, so we may get comfortable because 2021 will be people buying bitcoin through centralized entities like this until they realize their mistakes and start pulling out which can take another year.
Well, its not like most older generation are technologically literate so I think it is convenient that other people will do the work for them, I mean their generation was solely based on the idea of being spoon fed everything so they don't work hard for anything. They can't really pull out of it though, there is no dividend and I believe that it is not a fully insured offer so pulling out of it would be disastrous for the clients, to everyone who thinks that this is good, read their guidelines about this because there are some parts there that are unsavory for crypto community, I mean this are the people that really hates bitcoin but at the same time they will offer this kind of thing, I don't trust this.
1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You think CBDCs will threaten Bitcoin? Think again. on: March 19, 2021, 11:07:39 AM
Who in their right mind will think that CBDC will be a threat to Bitcoin? I mean there have been attempts by some countries but they don't seem to make any noise that can be interpreted as success. Maybe the reason that people think that CBDC is a threat to bitcoin is that it has the possibility that Bitcoin will become unfavored by the government because they invested in CBDC so they have to ban it so CBDC can fill the void that bitcoin will possibly leave when it gets banned.
1728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its coming i faster and would shock most people on: March 19, 2021, 10:02:02 AM
we have some more acceptance of this kind which is many step forward. all true crypto lover is not only about profiting but also about spendability of your coin. there is a joy that comes with being able to spend your coin anywhere in the world freely. it can only take some time , i am sure we will soon get there.
Definitely, but I don't see the point that cryptocurrency becoming a shock to most people, I mean did a lot of people got heart attack when online payments for hotels become a thing, I am pretty sure that they didn't, I don't know how OP defines shock but I think it is odd. This addition of cryptocurrency as a payment is going to be just part of the adoption that is happening right now.
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa Plans to Enable Bitcoin Payments at 70 Million Merchants on: March 19, 2021, 09:22:12 AM
I thought this, and the typical "Bitcoin is used by criminals" outlook would have been squashed when Paypal introduced Bitcoin to their platform. Obviously, the way they implemented it didn't quite benefit the former issue. However, I'm not entirely convinced, but surely Visa a reputable company introducing Bitcoin finally puts a nail in the coffin for both of these issues. It would likely see an increase in adoption, as well as price.
The outlook won't die, as you have said Paypal did the integration in their platform but the narrative and FUD that it is used for illegal stuff is still proliferating, I don't think that it will be Visa that is going to dispel this negative narrative about bitcoin, FUD spreader have this charm around them that makes the shit that comes out of their mouth linger for a long time.
1730  Economy / Speculation / Re: By 4/20, the price of bitcoin had rising to $69,000? on: March 19, 2021, 08:43:19 AM
If that is what is going to happen I think that it is going down in history as a meme turned into reality and everyone should be posting "Nice" if that were to happen. We might be able to get to more than 69k, as @Yaunfitda stated the stimulus roll out does coincide with the increase in prices so maybe with the current stimulus rollout, we might see another pump in the prices.
1731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price would hit $288,000 this year, according to this metric on: March 19, 2021, 07:52:14 AM
From 2017 till today I have been hearing a lot of price prediction and frankly speaking non of them were correct. If it was that easy to predict Bitcoin price most of us here would have been Bitcoin millionaire. We all know it will reach to the moon and we can see everyday what is happening therefore there is no need to create a FOMO around the price.
We do know that it will reach the moon but what is the moon for bitcoin because clearly the current prices isn't the moon that we are looking for. I think that there is some truth with this pattern and I think that we can hold on to this prediction because the numbers presented are not overhyped or even that conservative, I think that the number that they are predicting can be a possibility considering there are still 9 months left to fulfill this prediction or to debunk it, we will know it when we get there.
1732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk name once again used to fool people by hackers! on: March 19, 2021, 07:17:04 AM
When you say "he is associated with some scam", it sounds so wrong. Feels like you are implying that it's his fault lol. Anyway, this isn't something new. I still don't get it, how come people fall for this kind of scams? Don't they read the news or do any diggings before sending their money? I mean if I were to invest some huge amount of money, I would start googling and look for information.
If they are this stupid thinking that they will get quick money from Elon, then they sadly deserve to get scammed. At least it will teach them a lesson!
I agree, being as stupid as to think that a famous person like Elon who doesn't even know you personally is going to give you a lot of money when you send him the required money then they probably deserve the scam. The reason that people fall for this in my opinion is that a lot of people do not exercise their critical thinking and common sense which should be cultivated during the formative years of childhood and it should be completely operational by the age of reason but given that there are still people that fall for this is evident that there isn't a lot of people that has the necessary critical thinking skills and common sense.
1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC seems to be fading out and loosing popularity. on: March 19, 2021, 06:31:06 AM
Many people will disagree with your claim, its just your friends that you are talking about, and they don't make the 100% of the population that uses bitcoin but they are just a part of it, I think that in the many countries, bitcoin is getting the opposite. But we can't ignore the fact that the transaction fees in bitcoin is expensive.
1734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OGs: guys, lets just sell now, let the idiots buy at 60k LMAO! on: March 19, 2021, 05:03:54 AM
And what will your 26 BTC do to the market exactly? Lower it, allowing the newbies to enter the market before it reaches 100K??? I wonder who will have the batter laugh you selling at 55k or those that bought at less and holding/selling at 100K...
Cut the dude some slack, 26 BTC in a 60k price is a big amount, OP can just buy back anytime he/she wants when the prices go under. At the least I think that OP is the more happier person because he/she has already reaped the benefits of hodling bitcoin compared to those who are waiting for something that might not even arrive, including me.
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fall to zero? Be woke with changes of No. of BTC with $ 1 million on: March 19, 2021, 04:18:19 AM
I don't think that it will fall that low after all this ATH that bitcoin has constantly shown over the years, I mean it did have the 2018 as an opportunity to lose its value but it didn't. And with the law of supply and demand backing bitcoin market, I think that the less bitcoin in circulation there is, the higher the prices is going to be.
1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying 1 BTC is ‘like owning 60 cars? on: March 19, 2021, 03:35:01 AM
I find the subject of this topic very confusing, reasons being that i don't consider buying btc ( something that can be considered an asset that is,has the potential to appreciate with time) to be like owning 60 cars (something that can be considered a liability, because it's value depreciates with time). The comparison to me simply is not befitting.
That is the reason why it is a FUD to attack bitcoin, they think that bitcoin depreciates in value overtime which isn't true given the price charts for the past 10 years of its life. It really is not befitting because this was supposed to confuse the people which is evident with your reply, they need to make the people hesitate in their decision when it comes to bitcoin.
1737  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ Bet online ᐉ BTC Betting ᐉ Best odds on: March 18, 2021, 08:40:29 AM
You can expect your balance to be refunded to your account if you are talking about a reputed site but already their reputation is ruined on Bitcointalk but still they are growing bigger and bigger with lot of promotion from outside of bitcointalk.
This is alarming to be honest, the people advertising outside of the forum doesn't know that this site is one big scam. I thought that they have already deleted their thread on the gambling but now I am not surprised considering they still have the audacity to promote their website. Hopefully, someone outside the forum is going to discover their schemes because there is a possibility that more people are going to be scammed post forum incidents.
1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scams in Google and Apple App Stores on: March 18, 2021, 07:53:52 AM
I am quite surprised that Apple let this kind of harmful apps in their store, I mean they have the most strict requirements when it comes to app development but here we are, seeing this phishing app operational on their store, I thought that Apple has a security that is rightfully boasted but considering that the flaws found in them are critical, I am having second thoughts.
yes that is what i was telling to myself also , But also we Knew how Good hackers are , they can enter in everything they wanted to target.

And apple is now not safe from them anymore.
Yeah, but to boast that you have a secure network and device is saying something, that also means that hacks will not be possible. I don't know why do people eat up this shit that Apple feeds to them, they are expensive but the cheaper android phones work far better than them.
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Need Terminology Between Satoshi and Bitcoin! on: March 18, 2021, 07:20:26 AM
This is a really good suggestion, this is similar to units of measurement such as km / m / cm, yes it is possible to find a term that everyone agrees on that is between Satoshi and BTC, this may be useful when Bitcoin is widely spread and its use becomes daily, but now that the use of Bitcoin is little, not on a daily basis, I think no one thinks about it.
The lesser in my opinion, the better, its not that difficult to differentiate the amounts in bitcoin, I think that it can help that we are able to make learning bitcoin related terminologies when there is less to think of, and based on the replies on this thread, I can deduce the consensus that there isn't really a need for a specific distinction in between values of bitcoin.
1740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The higher BTC goes, the bigger the risk/reward ratio and the less buyers enter on: March 18, 2021, 06:38:18 AM
I don't think that we have to worry about it though, as much as the prices go up, I think that people will still be interested in bitcoin no matter what. Yes, the risk/reward ratio goes up but that comes with almost any investment and I think that it doesn't really go up, the prices just go up so it sort of acted like an illusion that the risk/reward ratio go up too. It is the fault of the people that entered in bitcoin at the higher prices.
