1621  Economy / Economics / Re: How the rich get richer and why it works on: April 01, 2021, 07:34:59 AM
The rich get richer because they are expose to the societies and they have expansion of knowledge or brain in terms of businesse strategies or risk taking in order to get what them want, that is from my perspective and also from environmental observation within my domain.
They can take risks because they have enough money to take the risk, I mean if you know that when you fail with your attempt, you will not have any problem with money then you will still do it. Other reason that the rich get richer is because they exploit the working class by giving them more work hours for little to no wage increase and very debilitating penalty when it comes to work infractions and they have ties with the government so they can get easily what they want because they have connections.
1622  Economy / Economics / Re: More bullish news: Paypal will alllow crypto checkout on: April 01, 2021, 06:42:04 AM
This gonna solve the problem that those merchants who aren't really into crypto facing which is difficulty of integrating crypto to their shop. as it seems that the convert rate and others are handled by paypal themselves it's gonna eliminate the difficulty of integrating it though it has disadvantage which is transparency maybe? but I'm hoping more and more merchant could finally accept crypto as it makes purchasing things convenient for me aswell.
I don't think that these merchants really have to worry about transparency because there would be some receipt of the transaction that is going to be recorded and how much is how much. We just have to be happy that Paypal is going to allow a crypto checkout and this kind of coexistence will bring more people in crypto whether we disagree or not.
1623  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY IS INFLATION IMPORTANT FOR CRYPTO? on: April 01, 2021, 06:05:30 AM
Well, with inflation crypto isn't really affected by the inflation as is but when fiat is inflating, you can get more value out of your bitcoin in the long term but that is the flaw of bitcoin too, when it is not affected by inflation that means that it will not grow in value together with fiat to catch up with the decrease of purchasing power of fiat.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beware of the Frauds , how pandemic is affecting gambling negatively on: April 01, 2021, 05:28:37 AM
Because of the pandemic the only option to continue our activities and works is through online.. The same with the gamblers wherein just to support their hobby they will grab online task as well, "without knowing it's very risky due to some scam gambling sites and phishing" .. In my opinion this pandemic is actually a big opportunity for some fraud or scammers because a lot of ppl nowadays are trying to earn some cash through online and mostly are beginners wherein who dont use to gamble online.. It's just they don't have any choice because of the pandemic. ...
You can prevent yourself from becoming a victim of this kind of scam if you are researching what to do first before doing something. Most of the time, victims of the scam are people that are computer illiterate or doesn't know a lot about scams online so if you think that you are not one of them then you are probably safe. Any situation is an opportunity for people to scam other people so there is no surprise that they are doing this in the pandemic, I mean if apocalypse were to happen, I am sure there will be some people that will see it as an opportunity to scam other people.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 01, 2021, 04:42:27 AM
Per report, he only played 14 minutes, I hope the injury is not serious though, it's not good to see Lakers their big man is down and the big 3 will be out in the game. I hope he will come back soon as this is just a toe issue.

https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/basketball/news/lakers-andre-drummond-exits-with-toe-issue/
This kind of issues should be addressed quickly because this is detrimental for players I mean there should have been a revolutionary technology to prevent this kind of sports injury in basketball. Drummond is a really good player and the fact that his toe is the reason that he will be playing for less makes me think of the Achilles heel.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get the best odds on sports betting on: April 01, 2021, 04:03:39 AM
Odds given by a match depends on how the house edge handles winrate. For instance for some the odds can be slightly higher in other platforms from what i've experienced. Your technique is doable but this type of bets can be risky according to the photo shown above. What site are you betting on, by the way?
Exactly, the only way that I can think that you can get a best odds is when you are playing arbitrage and you are playing at multiple sports betting websites. I am not really playing a lot of sports bet so I am just saying what I have seen in this forum and what my friends advice my other gambling friends when it comes to sports betting.
1627  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have a relatives who ask advise to invest, what should I do? on: March 31, 2021, 10:31:53 AM
It is good that your relative is eager in regards to investing, I mean you could name bitcoin as the coin that your relative to invest because it is safer and is proven to grow exponentially. I don't think that your relative isn't FOMOing because the earlier that he/she can get in the market, the better but you have to advice him/her that it doesn't guarantee to go up and the growth that your relative should wait is the long-term investment.
1628  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin will hit $60,000 today, what's next? on: March 31, 2021, 09:39:18 AM
If bitcoin was to hit 60k USD then it will just continue as what it naturally does, it will continue to go up and if there is no indicator that the price are going to go down dramatically then we can expect that the prices are going to get more high and considering a lot of good news at the first quarter of 2021 I think that the prices are well on the way to make it to more than just 60k USD.
1629  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reasons why Bitcoin price drops recently on: March 31, 2021, 08:58:18 AM
Agreed, but I think the bitcoin price was recently dropped due to the market correction. the bitcoin price doesn't always go up, somethings it goes down. If you study the bitcoin or cryptocurrency market in general you would notice the market usually goes up and down from time to time. For me, I see nothing wrong with the bitcoin market going up and down all the time because that is how the market should work as it can't up or down all the time.
Right, the only time that we should be worried is when the bitcoin prices plateau which is close to impossible but it is the most catastrophic because there is no trade happening in the market. And looking at the bright side, bitcoin going down is an opportunity for people to buy more bitcoin value out of their money and make a short term profit if the prices have gone up.
1630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Paypal allows crypto payment for all 29mil merchants on: March 31, 2021, 08:23:11 AM
Paypal had announced last year that they will provide full functionality to Bitcoin users by mid-2021. Now they have enabled payments with Bitcoin, but the option to withdraw your coins to non-PayPal wallets is not yet available. I guess they will add that as well, in the next few months. It would be great to have an option for direct payment with BTC as well, but I guess most of the merchants would not favor it.
That is the only way for Paypal, to move forward. I mean if a business doesn't hop early on a trend or do not integrate with the trend, their competitors will do so and they will get left behind. If they were to add that non-Paypal wallets option, I am pretty sure that they are going to explode into popularity among the crypto community.
1631  Economy / Speculation / Re: The power of Bitcoin HODLing on: March 31, 2021, 07:43:06 AM
yeah I understand. At the end it relies on your own decision as there is nothing for granted here. we are hanging around $56k mark and we don't be surprised if we hit $100K in next couple of months. There is no doubt of the future of BTC, just see the chart how far we have come. HODL!
100k is still a lot of number and saying that we will reach it in a next couple of months is not yet feasible in that scale but I do believe that this year it will reach the 6 digit price in USD but I think that it will be around the ending months of this year, in the meantime just hodl your bitcoin or invest some of it in a bankroll if you can because you can't just make a stagnant bitcoin, make it earn some interest.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Cotto vs Marquez - Exhibition match on: March 31, 2021, 07:07:46 AM
I think that Marquez' defeating Pacquiao in their last match made some kind of downfall for the People's Champ career and many Filipino fans were shocked by that knockout. This will be a good fight though considering that they are both good fighters and I would consider this to be a good fight.
my father in law whos a big fan of Pacquiao doesn't even want to talk about Manny's loss. all he is saying was that it's a lucky punch. it's clearly not, it's sort of a Marquez fight plan.
Typical Filipino fans, they don't want Manny to lose and they don't talk about it, I mean most of the old people in my neighborhood always says that all of Pacquiao's defeats are rigged and they don't like the idea that Pacquiao has lost, I never knew that Pacquiao lost to Morales until I have heard of it in the commentator, that is how Filipino fans don't want to talk about Pacquiao's defeat. In a way, when Pacquiao loses the match, the Filipino fans are the sore loser.
1633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there sportsbooks that offer flipped odds? on: March 31, 2021, 06:28:09 AM
That is pretty good thing in my opinion but are there any business minded sportsbook that will offer that kind of odds knowing that they won't get anything from the bettors because it is mostly favored with the players? Because I believe that flipped odds is like an antithesis of sportsbook.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: March 31, 2021, 05:54:33 AM
I would rather agree with 'Dice depend on luck'...
If we believe playing gambling is fate, was your life created to play gambling? playing gambling and then winning/losing is not fate but your choice or luck. when playing dice I often lose or win accidentally, therefore I believe that winning/losing at gambling is not fate but your luck. *therefore you must have control over yourself and your choices, do not lack control
Dice isn't about luck it is about mathematics which involves chances or probability and to some degree physics, we just can't comprehend dice with numbers so we think that it is because of luck because that is an easy thing to explain than the numbers involved. Fate is a construct that humans made to remove themselves from the results of their actions so in short fate is just an excuse because you don't have the balls to accept that it is you that is at fault.
1635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The realities of modern casinos on: March 31, 2021, 05:09:52 AM
Why do people always try to find the reason why the other kind of casino makes you lose more than the other, I mean come on anyone smart enough knows that in gambling the losses is always going to be present and more prevalent more than wins and no matter which it is, be it physical or online, it doesn't matter. People that is like OP who is trying to make a loop as to why people are losing are pretty oblivious to the essence of gambling which is the player losses and the house wins.
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Cotto vs Marquez - Exhibition match on: March 31, 2021, 04:36:42 AM

Nice to see those 2 boxers will back again at the ring, even at an exhibition.

2 popular boxers on their time, both also got demolished by Manny Pacquaio although Marquez got sweet revenge out of pure determination and hunger to beat the People's champ.

Expecting more information will come after the announcement.

1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 30, 2021, 09:33:56 AM
I really enjoy meeting girls.

For me, this is a very exciting activity, a kind of gambling.  Gambling is a game of luck, an interaction with chaos.  It's a lot like chatting with girls, because girls are chaotic too.

As a result of chatting with girls, you can win the jackpot - get great sex and, possibly, long-term relationships.

Therefore, I spend the awards received from participating in subscription campaigns on girls.

I buy fashionable clothes, go to the gym, go to personal growth trainings, study massage, etc.
So basically you spend your payouts hedonistic styles. There is nothing wrong with that but are you saving money or investing some of your payouts in your campaigns because if not, that would be really bad for you or maybe I might be wrong and the money that you earn in this campaign is just a side hustle for you.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling company that did hit the jackpot during the pandemic. on: March 30, 2021, 08:53:18 AM
The pandemic gave a lot of business opportunities and income opportunities to online gambling. Since physical casinos are not operating, most gamblers especially problematic gamblers had no choice but to resort to using online casinos. So no wonder some casinos had earned way more than they usually earn daily compared before the pandemic.
Not a lot of business to be exact because there aren't a lot of business that was ready for this but maybe with the pandemic being dragged on for over a year now, I think that they have already adapted to the new normal. Not to mention that it isn't just the gambling patrons that are getting in the online gambling because other people are trying to kill boredom, they also seem to get hooked and become new clients for this gambling sites so it is really understandable that there are more traffic in these sites.
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give your opinion on crypto bookmakers on: March 30, 2021, 08:14:53 AM
- Sportsbet.io (5/5) = it's a kind of historical bookmakers around crypto world, and I like how they have managed the service.
Sportsbet.io website design is in my opinion should be added as a reason for a 5 out of 5 review because it seems clean and beautiful and they have an established eSports section which I am getting on right now.
1640  Economy / Economics / Re: Bullish: Visa moves to allow payment settlements using cryptocurrency on: March 30, 2021, 07:34:46 AM
It’s great that more and more people and companies begin to believe in the future of BTC. Some universities, for example, started accepting tuition fees in BTC. Maybe one day crypto could replace the fiat money system.
That is a first time that I have heard of, a university that accepts bitcoin for tuition fees. Your aspiration of crypto replacing the fiat is not that near or anything like that, I mean if you know how fast the network of bitcoin is, you shouldn't be saying that thing and also, there are a lot of people that needs a lot of years to convince them to use cryptocurrency instead of fiat which is going to be replaced and not everyone is going to be in favor of the replacement too.
