1581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade + study = great combination on: April 06, 2021, 09:59:20 AM
Yeah it is. You can earn lots of cash while studying.  Many student are in searche of work in the recent time.  But they can earn more than a part time job by trading. But at first they have to learn how to,when to and Where to trade.
After completing the trading course they can earn bucks doing trading more than most of part time jobs of the market.
That is a misleading thing to say because trading involves a high risk and I don't think that saying that it is a good way to earn money is an overstatement of the fact that a lot of people lose money when trading let alone a student who doesn't know or knows a little about trading and with no experience.
1582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto trading can help nation with no Job create jobs? on: April 06, 2021, 09:21:36 AM
Even everyone will have that good background technology.

It's not that everyone can avail to become a trader. That's such a risky day to day living and not everyone will risk their potential profit daily.
The problem is that it is a pretty niche job for everyone to do and not everyone is good with chart analysis and as @boyptc says, not everyone can afford to be a trader since not everyone has equal opportunity, I don't think that trading is going to help a nation because it is just a small part of the economy, what needs to be done is for the government to do something.
1583  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk and Reddit accounts Seller on: April 06, 2021, 08:42:06 AM
I understand the reason why they are selling the Bitcointalk account, but the Reddit account? I don't get how it is profitable for someone to buy the Reddit account since I don't see any means to make money in Reddit, I don't frequent in that message board so I don't know if there is one.
1584  Other / Meta / Re: Is there any section of the forum visible only to selected members like VIP? on: April 06, 2021, 07:15:14 AM
Yes, there's

? - Child boards (Special, Staff Forum)

It's a board for staff above only, I also don't know what's the name and what's discussed there.

Another hidden features you can read here Hidden pages/ features on the forum
I didn't know a lot about this stuff and although I see some of them, I never consider them as secret or hidden. The features on that link was a treasure trove although I wouldn't necessarily say that all of them are secret or hidden, maybe a little exploration on some parts of the forum is enough to discover some the features.
1585  Other / Meta / Re: Why do people beg on this forum? on: April 06, 2021, 06:34:21 AM
The reason that I can think of when it comes to begging on this forum is because there are enabler that gives money to this people which obviously propagates the begging even more. Personally, I don't mind the begging as long the money that is going to be given is going to a good cause.
1586  Economy / Gambling / Re: Balance Removed from CoinRoyale on: April 06, 2021, 05:01:13 AM
I never used CoinRoyale website so far, I don't think they are active in Bitcointalk forum, and I can't find if they have any betting license, if that is the case don't be surprised that something like this happened.
You should read terms on their website and if they have some rule that can terminate your acount for being dormant for years than there is nothing you can do about it, and there is nobody to complain about your problem.
Why would they terminate a dormant account, I mean that thing shouldn't be done especially if they are dealing with money. With this kind of thing happening around the Internet and these gambling sites just putting every rule that they think fits their agenda makes me want to puke, I hope that some regulation is going to be put for these exploitative practices.
1587  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: April 06, 2021, 04:13:39 AM
Why do you care? Are they forcing you to wager your money? Did they put a gun on your head? No. Whoever is falling for that scam and wagers more that he could afford to lose deserves to lose that money.

I bet most of the high rollers you see in the casino scoreboards are fakes. (maybe all of them)
The reason that OP might've cared is because OP is easily influenced by people on the Internet or that OP got betrayed by his/her favorite entertainer or content creator. This goes to show that we have to take everything that we see on the Internet with a grain of salt. I agree with @mindrust about the people that are falling for this scam deserving to lost.
1588  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 05, 2021, 08:37:38 AM
The problem is that KYC is needed regarding your money at the casino i am not sure they ask for KYC while there is no money in the account
so actually you can't avoid KYC while you have money there. Actually we don't have to worry if we don't cheat everything will be fine.
Easy to say that we don't have to worry about KYC if we are not cheating but considering that there are a lot of users of some gambling sites that got their accounts locked after getting a big win, I think that it isn't that easy. And this kind of problem could be solved if the gambling site did their due diligence of securing it from cheats and exploits.
1589  Economy / Gambling / Re: Web DiceBot - Automate betting with programmer mode directly on dice sites on: April 05, 2021, 07:56:39 AM
Maybe they created the bot for the sake of creating a bot, also you will never know if someone is going to use their bot instead of the automated ones in the dice games, people are complex and you will not exactly pinpoint their thought process.
And one more question about the safety of this program? Can we trust it?
I forgot about this part, some programs similar to this could have a malware inside it or mining script that not a lot of users can notice because they work belowx the surface level. For now, we won't be trusting this service since OP hasn't answered @iv4n's question.
1590  Economy / Gambling / Re: Web DiceBot - Automate betting with programmer mode directly on dice sites on: April 05, 2021, 06:57:59 AM
What’s the usage of BOT if there’s a settings already on some gambling site that allows you to set an automatic bet?

1591  Economy / Economics / Re: 10 reasons for bitcoin to prosper on: April 05, 2021, 06:07:02 AM
Bitcoin isn' really new, if you have posted this in 2011 or 2012, I might've believed you but bitcoin is a decade old and it isn't necessarily gives you freedom since bitcoin is tied to technology and it currrently can't exist outside technology. For me, the reason that bitcoin is going to prosper is it is the first of its own and has since then led a revolution in the FinTech sector which is still influencing it until now.
1592  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: April 05, 2021, 05:21:55 AM
There is a lot of pressure on them because they have used their money to bet in a position. They may lose their money. I think investors will have a simple lifestyle because they have focused their money on investing.
It sounds like you are describing a gambler instead of an investor, you don't have to be pressured when you are investing because there are ways to invest without the hitch of actively managing it, a smart investor makes money work for him and not the other way around. Common people that doesn't know a thing about investing can become an investor too, you just have to give them the opportunity.
1593  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19, Lockdown and repercussions on: April 05, 2021, 04:28:57 AM
You will hear similar stories from all around the world. Here in India, the lockdown was announced all of a sudden and people were given just a couple of hours to stock essential items. And the shopkeepers took advantage of this and increased the prices by 2x or 3x. The worst affected were migrant workers, who got stuck without any access to provisions. Many of them tried to return to their native villages by foot, walking for 1,000 or 1,500 km continuously.
I might have to be a little bit thankful that this kind of situation didn't happen in my country, the problem in my country though is the people that hoards like Smaug of the essential items but other than that, the situation in my country and yours isn't that different, people from provinces got caught in the lockdown in cities focing them to walk or if they are lucky, get to hitch a ride from a government transport but that one is unlikely to happen.
1594  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian vs foreign companies on: April 05, 2021, 03:43:36 AM
I have mixed feelings about this move. On one hand, I have to say that this particular move will hinder free-market and competition, by giving an advantage to the Russian software firms. But on the other hand, Russia is under sanctions from US and some of the other Western nations, and they are perfectly justified if they want to discourage their citizens from using software from companies which are based in these Western nations. Russian companies such as Gazprom are being denied a level playing field, so I can understand the move from the Russian government.
How would it hinder free market and competition though? I get that this discourages the Western companies but that doesn't mean that they will comply, they can just make a Russian version of the device if they need to. It's not that Western countries are trying cripple Russia, the wounds of Cold War is still lingering.
1595  Economy / Economics / Re: There must be more banks in the world than number of cryptocurrencies on: April 05, 2021, 02:49:35 AM
Based on estimates, there are around 32 thousand banks around the world, I don't know if it is accurate. Also, more banks doesn't necessarily means that the prices are stable for fiat currency since banks role is to circulate the money back to the economy.
1596  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone been keeping up with the gamestop stuff? on: April 05, 2021, 02:10:17 AM
I think that the fiasco has already died down but reading the replies, it seems that the tug-o-war isn't over yet. I think that the people/retail investor is still waiting for another pump in this stock and other shorted stocks but this time it will be more difficult and unfair since the hedge fund POS knows what is up and they are notorious to playing unfairly.
1597  Economy / Economics / Re: Food Prices Are Soaring Faster Than Inflation and Incomes on: April 05, 2021, 01:27:52 AM
Japan experiences deflation which is also bad because that means that there is no growth in the economy, being stagnant in between inflation and deflation is the ideal thing for a country to achieve, I don't know much about the income and food prices there but I have read an article that they are experiencing deflation.
Too much is not good at all and seriously, we can't stop the inflation even the deflation, the government has to do something about this one. The goal of every government is to make the inflation move slowly, because there's no way to stop it from growing but we can slow it considering all the economic variable.

The Covid19 is just one of the reason why the inflation is increasing, this is why we have to help ourselves as well and do some good investments that can double your money, don't just put it on a savings account with banks spend it.
I have to disagree with you about deflation not being unstoppabble because as far as I know, Japan is the only one experiencing deflation and if the economy continues to grow or inflate at a steady rate then deflation can entirely be prevented. You are right that the pandemic is one of the many causes of inflation but if the government knows what to do during those times then they could've prevented a bad increase in inflation.
1598  Economy / Economics / Re: Could Bitcoin Smash Socialism in Venezuela? on: April 04, 2021, 01:33:50 AM
The problem with the socialism in Venezuela is that they don't really focused on the well-being of the community but the well-being of the individuals which is evident because a lot of people during their high times were prosperous but they didn't invest in social aspect like health, education and other institutions that will help them when the down times happen and then the down times happened and the economy crashed, I don't think that bitcoin is enough to smash socialism because of how large the scale that bitcoin has to fill in.
It will be wrong to say that the government didn't made any investment in Medicare, education and infrastructure. Because I remember when Hugo Chavez was the president, he had a deal with Cuba to bring in Cuban doctors to Venezuela. They provided free and quality medical care to the Venezuelan citizens. Also, he undertook a lot of development and relief work in the slum areas, and reduced the poverty by a great amount.

But the government made a serious miscalculation. They thought that the high oil prices are going to last forever, so never bothered to set up a rainy day fund. And when the oil prices crashed, the treasury got empty in very quick time.
But their investment wasn't enough in the end as you have already said. Another problem as you have also mentioned is that they are so reliant on oil that they didn't try to invest in other products. And the blunder of choosing Maduro as the successor added to that problem.
1599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Retirement Funds Starting to Buy Bitcoins Nasdaq Say on: April 03, 2021, 10:25:27 AM
Given the increase in Bitcoin's value, withdrawing funds to buy them is a really good investment. I feel happy that social security funds take notice of Bitcoin. In the long run, there may be more Bitcoin-focused social institutions or countries that invest in Bitcoin.
They could have done better and invested when bitcoin was still around 3 to 4 digit prices but I understand them that they don't see it back then as something that is profitable. It will be the only way for bitcoin because to progress, they have to touch every aspect of social and financial services.
1600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paris Hilton has joined Bitcoin’s “laser eyes to $100,000” on: April 03, 2021, 09:37:33 AM
If the memes can reach more people and give more positive image for bitcoin, I think that we should go with it. In this case though, Paris is past her prime of being the talk of the town, people has already moved on in regards to her sex tape but there will still be a lot of people that is following her and if I recall she is also an heiress to the Hilton Hotel fortune so that means that she can get in anytime she wants because she has the money to do so and their hotel accepting bitcoin is also a possibility. BTW, any picture with laser eyes makes me laugh my ass out for real.
