1561  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WARNING: Here's the one thing that will start to protect us from Covid on: April 08, 2021, 06:38:18 AM
Does that mean I can get a stimulus check for my zygote? No? Why not? It's a person, right? Roll Eyes

If you actually want fewer abortions, then defunding Planned Parenthood is the absolutely stupidest thind you can do. What you should be doing is funding proper sex education, providing free counseling, free pregnancy tests, and free contraception, all of which Planned Parenthood does. But this was never really about abortions. This is about crazy right wing Christians and their money.
Exactly what I was thinking, if people stop making efforts in Family planning, I think that the growth of the population will grow exponential. Also, if we don't up our effort in teaching Sex education then we won't get far. The problem with Christian values is that they value the developing life in the womb but they don't care about the millions of children that are homeless because it doesn't fit their agenda.
1562  Other / Meta / Re: How can I delete my forum account? on: April 08, 2021, 05:51:31 AM
I think that you can ask @theymos to delete your account or disable it like what he did with @Lauda, what I don't know is if @theymos is going to bother to disable your account but it is still worth a shot. Or you could do what the other members in the thread says, fughedaboutit and move on which is by far pretty easier.
1563  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Film Festival on: April 08, 2021, 05:02:30 AM
But still, there can be loopholes on judging side, as crypto itself can be way vague, and so do film genres. I don't know if even creating a short film related to crypto would even have a great impact nor lure just simple audiences to watch it, because in the end it is just an implicit way of promoting crypto. It is like creating a movie about money, which was never been a topic of a movie but only a tool to progress a scene.
Also worth mentioning that it is difficult to do a crypto related film as a main topic of the film and sometimes the ideas that will work have something to do with bitcoin being used in something negative. Mon ey can be a center of the story, take Ozark for example or Money Heist or the Italian Job, most of heist movies have the money as a center of the story.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 08, 2021, 04:09:52 AM
You have a really progressive parents then, I mean if I was to ask my parents about that thing, I would probably get myself beaten to a pulp. To me though, I would say that gambling should be allowed on the age where the individual can decide for themselves and have the ability to accept responsibility, it will be difficult to determine by age since people mature differently, maybe sticking to 18 will be enough.
In any country it seems that no parent wants their child to become addicted to gambling, then the parents will be tough if they find their child
gambling. I am like you have parents who cannot be discussed with all things related to gambling, if until I dare to ask about gambling. I will have
the same fate as you, so I can't discuss all things about gambling with my parents. This is a lesson for all of us that being a parent should not be
a distance from their child. It means being a good parent, you have to explain everything to your child, including the game of gambling. So that
our children do not get this information from other people, it may be that the information provided by others is misleading.
Also worth adding that whenever I try to add an opinion of mine to the table, I get easily lambasted sith words that shame .e and they also bring up that I owe them that I am alive and in my mind whenever they say that, I wish that they did because I don't want to be their insurance policy when I start to make a lot of money.
1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 08, 2021, 03:26:06 AM
It really depends on the kind of education that you receive, I remember that my father taught me about gambling games at an early age, he did it not because he wanted me to gamble but it was a lesson on probabilities, that is how I learned very early on that gambling as a way to make money was simply not going to happen for almost anyone because the probabilities are on the long term against you.

1566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 08, 2021, 02:49:21 AM
I'm thinking that my money would go for Linares. An old man, yes, 13 years Haney's senior as a matter of fact, but I think he's still got the power in him. He's past his prime, no doubt about it, but so is Haney not yet thoroughly tested inside the ring. He's got a UD against the older and fading Yuriorkis. So I wouldn't consider it a test in his career.
Even if the tiger is old, if you let your guard down, you will end up getting killed. Linares besides being older than Haney is more experienced than Haney which means that Linares has his ways to destroy Haney even if Haney is younger than him, you are right that it is going to be a challenging fight for him but I am rooting for Linares in this match.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win at roulette? on: April 08, 2021, 02:14:53 AM
at casino, 80% odds is on house favor. I'm not really like to play at casino, even at landbased casino, i only play in slot.
You saying that the house has a 80% house edge but at the same time you are playing slots which makes up almost 70 or 80 percent of a casino profit is pretty appalling to me. Regarding the strategy of winning in roulette, the only way to win is either get all the numbers possible or list the average number that is likely to win.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lucky Winners of the Day - Random Pick on: April 08, 2021, 12:54:58 AM
I would say that both of them are lucky since they made more than twice the amount of their inital capital in their investment. Yes it looks like the first one seems to be luckier but to each perspective, I think that they are both.

Not bad at all. From the moment freebitco.in launched their 4.08% interest, I kept on depositing. Right now I already earned 0.013 BTC  Smiley.

Wow! That's really a decent profit you've made there! Congrats! Smiley
What does exactly @babygun is depositing in that makes him/her earn a lot of bitcoin in the website, I am curious because I am trying to find new avenues fto earn some bitcoin.

To everyone who doesn't know better, this is a scam casino that is always getting bumped in order to scam other people, the OP @bittrafficme is an alt account and anyone who will play in this casino is going to lose their money.
1572  Economy / Economics / Re: High-Frequency Traders Eye Satellites for Ultimate Speed Boost on: April 07, 2021, 09:51:42 AM
It only applies to stocks.

That's where the speed aspect to it factors in. Its not something which applies to casual day traders.
Imagine if there is already an HFT that applies on cryptocurrency, that would be really revolutionary since the trading game is going to change dramatically for bitcoin market and cryptocurrency market, as far as I know HFTs are investing co.panies so the first to move in cryptocurrency market is going to be profiting big time.
1573  Economy / Economics / Re: The total value of the crypto currency market is near $2 trillion on: April 07, 2021, 09:16:23 AM
As more people see the potential of decentralization, more will probably be joining this great technology. This trend will probably go for years to follow and probably be reaching 100's of Trillions.
You don't know what you are talking about when you said 100s of trillions because that is quitely close to impossible,  just because bitcoin is growing and it is becoming more popular among the capitalist circles doesn't mean that it will reach 100 trillion, give me one company that has that market cap and I might retract my words.
1574  Economy / Economics / Re: Are "Work Ethics" & "American Dream" a way to keep people working hard? on: April 07, 2021, 08:32:22 AM
The American Dream is just a lie that is created by big corporations to make the workers think that if they work with loyalty to the company and work themselves to the point of exhaustion, that they might be able to achieve the dream. Work ethics on the other hand is a set of rules for workers to not be unruly and be a liability to the company, in my opinion, work ethics is a good thing in a work environment.
1575  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you can't be rich by owning crypto on: April 07, 2021, 07:46:45 AM
Simple answer is that you don't have a lot of cryptocurrency in the first place so you have to make do with what you currently own and you have to wait for the prices to astronomically go up before you can say that you are rich when you own a cryptocurrency and you also have to have a lot of cryptocurrency too before you to get the most out of the rise in price.
1576  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CryptoSwap.Finance--Plagiarism whitepaper on: April 07, 2021, 06:52:27 AM
Could it be the whitepaper writer made this plagiarism mistake? Cause sometimes some writers just copy and paste from successful projects. Though I expected they should have run it on copyscape before publishing this on their site.

Unfortunately some investors and bounty hunters will fall for this.

Well, a Google index link to this, willsurely save a lot of people, if they care to check.
That's just too big for a mistake honestly, I mean look at the evidence that was provided, one is a coincidence but two or three is definitely something. It's the fault of the investors for falling for it since they didn't do a research about the company. Bounty hunters are in-between because they are there to advertise the service but they don't have to necessarily research about the legitimacy of the service.
1577  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nydronia - fake team members! on: April 07, 2021, 05:23:47 AM
Thank you very much for your info. This news is very important for me, because they invite us (my project) to be their partner. But there are many irregularities, one of which is they ask for our help in selling their tokens. After I saw this thread, everything was clear, my worries were answered.
Good thing that you didn't got in too deep with them because your project is going to scrapped because you are in a way affiliated to the scammer but the good thing is that it didn't happen. I can't fathom how this scammers are still using this kind of scheme to create a fake team since a lof this scams have been busted this way.
1578  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk and Reddit accounts Seller on: April 07, 2021, 04:48:22 AM
I understand the reason why they are selling the Bitcointalk account, but the Reddit account? I don't get how it is profitable for someone to buy the Reddit account since I don't see any means to make money in Reddit, I don't frequent in that message board so I don't know if there is one.
Because in order to post in more popular subreddits, your account has to have certain amount of post karma, and in some cases they even ask you that your account is aged etc. So if you want to advertise your business/scam in some of them, of course it will look much better if you are using seasoned account that has been around for quite some time.
Okay now I get it, so basically this Reddit karma is an Internet points that will help you become more prominent in the platform and like any other platform that has clout, you can use Reddit as a type of advertising for stuffs like almost anything, now I know the reason why some people are being ridiculed for farming Reddit Karma. Am I getting it right?
1579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are some good crypto trading apps on Android? on: April 06, 2021, 12:01:19 PM
I don't know a lot of available apps in android but I have Binance recommended to me by a friend of mine, it is easy to use and it is not overwhelming when it comes to what buttons to push and where you have to go.
1580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had 4,000.00 USD, what would you invest in? on: April 06, 2021, 10:37:25 AM
With my current knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, I don't think that I would just put it all in bitcoin since there are a lot of NFTs and other projects that are currently having a lot of potential so I would probably split it in about a half on bitcoin and the other half spread across different altcoins and NFTs.
