1941  Economy / Economics / Re: Will President Joe Biden be good for business? on: January 25, 2021, 11:07:09 AM
Never have high expectations in the government or politicians because there is no such thing as a perfect leader; there is only a good leader who wants to improve himself in handling every task. It will not be easy for the president to lead the US country all by himself. However, Joe Biden is much better than Donald Trump when it comes to business and a country's economy.
1942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand government seeks measures to tackle the problems of illegal gambling. on: January 25, 2021, 07:35:26 AM
I do believe that the government is not only working to eradicate the COVID hotspots but at the same time they want to make gambling businesses only legal since the revenues are forever in the favor of the government.
Government are making huge profit through taxes on every casinos so I think they can't afford to lose this market and that's why they are hunting all those illegal gambling, on a place like Thailand, collecting taxes is very important same thing in my country.
Indeed. The government is earning a considerable amount of profit in taxes in every legal casino. That is why it is a significant loss for the government to let illegal casinos earn money from gamblers. So they are continuously shutting down every illegal casino in a place like Thailand to make them pay taxes.

I do believe that people living in thailand should be careful if they are engaging in such things and also think about the consequences for sure. Since this time the people and the governing body of these illegal casinos will have a major problem.
If you don't want to get in trouble then better to transact on a legit gambling site so you can have totally fun without worrying for the authority to get you caught. Its not ok to deal on illegal things, not just on gambling so think again if you are planning to play illegally, good luck.
Yes. Avoid transacting and playing in an illegal gambling site or casino so you could avoid closing your account or funds and for you not to get caught by the authorities.
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even normal? on: January 24, 2021, 09:17:13 AM
That looks like a scam to me, they will just keep you guys hoping that you all are going to get paid, and they won’t pay. Maybe you should have done some background check of the project’s team to know who they really are and what other project hey have been into in the past and whether they paid those that participated in the past project. I am already seeing a comment that says that the team that owns the project are scammers and this is is not their first project and the first one they also never paid those that participated. If they are not scammers I don’t see any reason why they would block everyone from having access to their group.
Base protocol isn't a scam, they paid all bounty hunters as they promised, I have a friend that joined their Signature campaign, the problem is the team failed to hire a qualified bounty manager and they decide to manage the w themselves but the project team are limited, to further the project development they have no time to record stakes, lame excuse isn't it? But that was what happened

very lame, there's one comment in here who says that the campaign manager has already been involved in some bounty campaign scam, so it is part of the Base protocol's irresponsibility to find a good and clean manager. I won't call it scam cause Base protocol might be good and legit, but the event says that they should take great responsibility, whether they have a record or not, they should pay the hunters for the promotions.
Even Base Protocol is a legitimate or trusted project; they should be hiring a trusted and good bounty manager to avoid having complaints and able to pay their participants. So I feel sorry for those bounty hunters who have been scam by the Base Protocol's bounty manager because of the bounty campaign scam that they didn't receive their rewards.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 24, 2021, 06:34:31 AM
I never thought it's possible to win that huge amount, and of course, they will never reveal the name that huge amount can put the winner's life in danger, and about prize distribution, I prefer initial payment then the annual payment for 29 years this is to prevent from extravagant living and to protect your money and you will see your money passed through your children to your grandchildren.
Revealing the name or the winner's real identity is dangerous; that is why the lottery winner should be claiming it anonymously. I also prefer getting the initial payment then the annual payment for 29 years, so that it will not be too obvious for your acquaintances to know that you won the lottery and protect your money from spending too much.
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: January 23, 2021, 03:59:59 PM
Going through whitepaper is old skool now, can't be used to judge or choose a project, whitepaper can be written by anybody and they are most times plagiarized, some Scammers are even very crafty, you may not detected any flaws in the whitepaper
That's right, now the whitepaper can be manipulated by anyone in the project, especially the scammers who are smart enough at this point, so the whitepaper can no longer be the main reference in choosing a project because considering that many projects make plagiarism in their whitepapers.
Indeed. It is not advisable anymore to read or check the whitepaper of the project before investing because some scammers are smart enough to make their project look promising in a fake whitepaper that some of them are just copying others' ideas to look good. It is why I only invest in top coins in the market because I don't want to risk money on a project that is not legitimate or unsuccessful.
1946  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is down a lot on: January 22, 2021, 02:01:30 PM
price is still over 30k $ and you will say its down alot ? i know we are at 40k $ last time but the 10k $ decrease is i think not that huge but 25k $ drop or more are the one that is huge and just because there are big investors here in btc does that mean the price will not drop anymore ? oh hail no thats not how it work .

we must be thankful infact that there are big investors because if there isnt , the price could have gone dowm so hard .
agree, because we know that last year bitcoin made an unusual surprise that it is often done, it can go up only takes a few hours with a very high price difference, so it's down in a few weeks and not even down to $ 30K is a surprise. Current prices are fluctuating and changing in a relatively safe and very consistent range, so there is no need to worry.
The $30K price of bitcoin is unexpected because yesterday it was only in the range of $34K+, and now bitcoin's price is $32K, so I think many have grabbed the opportunity to buy bitcoin while it's at a low price. We shouldn't worry too much about bitcoin's price because the whales and institutional investors are currently holding their bitcoins, so there is a low chance for bitcoin to drop its price below $20K again.
1947  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 22, 2021, 01:29:39 PM
I believe that bitcoin and the crypto space can help people have their source of income because I am also helped by bitcoin back in the days that I don't need to rely on my parents in supporting my studies and my necessities. The only problem is that not all people have enough resources to use and earn with cryptocurrencies such as internet connection, smartphone, and computer. So it will be difficult for everyone to be saved by bitcoin or crypto financially.
1948  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 22, 2021, 06:55:25 AM
No one is born a successful trader that makes it trading a difficult task, so getting rich by trading is not easy. However, if you can face every consequence, have studied the market, you always use a trading plan, and you know how to use a stop loss. You might be good at trading and earn a considerable amount of money with it. Having a good trait or characteristics can also help you to be a great trader such as discipline, patience, enthusiasm, always think straight, and mental toughness.
Pero syempre we can't avoid using this kind of wallet kasi para mabilis maconvert to php and it has a lot of benefits especially kapag you are pursuing business, this kind of app will be helpful to you.

So purket may bitcoin ka, you think it's safe. Hindi ganon yun, hindi siya kagandahan ng bitcoin. It will always depende on the wallet na gagamitin mo.
Tama.
1950  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you sell all your coins in Bull market? on: January 22, 2021, 06:08:35 AM
I expect to sell at half of them to spend for real needs
I also sell my cryptocurrencies when I need money or for my necessities because it would be pathetic if I will only sell my cryptos while their price is continuously increasing that I will be wasting the opportunity of getting a much higher chance of getting a considerable amount of profit. But if you think that it will be the peak price of the coin that you are holding, it might be alright to sell it because you are still able to gain profit.
1951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here's why I'm leaving Bitcoin on: January 21, 2021, 10:07:38 AM
I don't understand why you got out of cryptocurrency, did you have a loss? If so, maybe you are not well informed about cryptocurrency and in trading, not only buying and investing, but also looking at the situation.
OP does not want to be a part of system that exploits bitcoin, OP was disenchanted with the wonders of bitcoin if I may say, bitcoin was supposed to help the people be free of the exploitative banking institution but instead OP felt that it will not be the case because OP see the other people of bitcoin community treat bitcoin as a way to make money for themselves. It is a profound reason that OP left the scene and I do not think that a shallow term like trading loss is the reason.
You're right, mate. I also think that it will be difficult for everybody to stop using bitcoin as a way to make money for themselves because many people wanted and dreamed to become rich and reach their goals in life. I know we have our decisions in life, but OP shouldn't be leaving in bitcoin about it because he could continue his intention in using bitcoin as a currency.
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fast food restaurants accepting crypto as payment method? on: January 21, 2021, 05:27:08 AM
the main problem is the price of crypto itself which is always and fast changing. that can be done perhaps by adjusting the crypto exchange rate for food. So, let's say that the price of crypto changes, but the estimate for food in dollars doesn't change.
Well. We can simply use a stable coin like USDT to avoid fluctuation or rapid changes in crypto prices that it will be just like spending fiat currencies in malls, retail stores, and restaurants. I think this kind of setting using cryptocurrencies as a payment method is possible nowadays because crypto adaptation is continuously rising since the pandemic of COVID-19 occurred.
1953  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of Bitcoin has exceeded $34,000. Is it still suitable to buy now on: January 21, 2021, 05:01:04 AM
I have predicted the Bitcoin price will be corrected after reaching an all time high of $ 41,000. So if you want to buy Bitcoin, now is the perfect time,
because according to the results of the analysis I have done, it is very unlikely that Bitcoin will fall below the price of $ 30,000. So don't waste
the opportunity to buy Bitcoin at its current price, I believe that later this month Bitcoin will start to rise again towards the price of $ 50,000.

Indeed. I think bitcoin's correction is only in the range of $30,000+, so this might be the best time to grab the opportunity to buy bitcoin while its price is $34,000 because bitcoin could go back above $40,000 again. Since this time is not the same as what happened in 2017, there is a possibility that bitcoin will not go down below $20,000 again, and it will stay above $30,000.
1954  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 21, 2021, 04:06:44 AM
I consider cryptocurrency to be really money because I have bought things using Bitcoin several times, although my country prohibits using crypto
for payments. But there are always ways to spend my crypto. Because now it is very easy to spend our crypto, because more and more merchants
are accepting crypto payments. With crypto being used like fiat, it's no wonder many crypto users think of crypto as really money.
I also consider cryptocurrency as money because even it doesn't have any physical form, it is still a form of digital or virtual currency that can work as a medium exchange for goods and services. You can also transfer cryptocurrency to someone online like banks. I also experienced buying things using my bitcoin several times on online shopping sites and steam games, that is why it convenient for every crypto user like me to use bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to make transactions online.
1955  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people losing faith from centralized organizations? on: January 21, 2021, 03:26:03 AM
The only thing why people are losing faith in centralized organizations because the decentralized method is a good way to have a more secured and fast transaction without authorities getting involved. Decentralization also solves trust issues because most people have their own sensitive data, money, and assets that they don't need to rely on authorities to protect them.
1956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: January 20, 2021, 02:45:53 PM
I don't know if OP really know about the concept of bitcoin and cryptocurrency because they are decentralized, which means they have no central authority that no organization and the governments can't control them. Your bitcoins can only be controlled if you are only using centralized wallets because you are not in control with your funds that they do not provide any private keys to decrypt your data.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this scam go on? on: January 19, 2021, 03:28:42 PM
The answer may never be as long as there are gaps and opportunities, scamer will continue to do this, not only in the crypto world, in the real world, fraud is still ongoing and exists, even though there are laws or institutions that regulate it.
even after leaving prison they can still make the same mistakes.
Indeed. As long as there are still people who fall into these scams, it will definitely continue because it is an opportunity to deceive these people, and it is not easy for authorities to trace them. The best thing to do is help everyone, especially those newcomers, avoid these scammers and make them go away or stop scamming people.
1958  Economy / Economics / Re: Is corona virus crisis changing economical equations around the world? on: January 19, 2021, 03:06:44 PM
Some major countries are facing crisis created by corona virus, meanwhile few others have controlled it successfully. Can this pandemic change economical and political status of countries?
Yes even those with high developing countries are affected by the pandemic but is mild compared to the past. Some countries most especially third world countries are slowly recovering and some are still suffering from the crisis. Economical and political status are not stable right now but here in my country all is well aside from those anti government morons that instead of helping the administration survive the crisis they even criticize and throw stones which is very diappointing to me.
I don't think that third-world countries are slowly recovering from all of their suffering in the corona crisis because I also lived in a third-world country. I believe the government is just secretly saying that we are recovering from the situation, for the citizen not to worry.  But as I can see, it does not.

I also hate people who don't cooperate with the authorities or the government. Instead of helping and preventing the spreading of the COVID-19, they still disobey the laws and health protocols; that is why the government is having a tough time handling this pandemic.
1959  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake SafePal Wallet on: January 19, 2021, 02:40:39 PM
Since SafePal is prevalent in social media like Twitter because of its airdrop and free giveaways. Someone also created a fake SafePal wallet on Google Play Store, so watch out for Fake Applications and Scam Telegram Groups. However, its phony application is already removed on PlayStore, but we still need to be careful with this kind of scheme.

1960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your price expectations for 2021 on: January 19, 2021, 02:16:24 PM
While it looks to be an intensely rocky road but still I expect 2021 will be a good year for Bitcoin and probably for cryptocurrencies as a whole. I personally feel that the price of one Bitcoin at the end of 2021 must be at the range of $50K - $60K but please remember the fact that this are just estimates. Nobody can accurately predict the market especially in crypto space.
I also expect bitcoin will have a good momentum this year of 2021 because bitcoin has created an unexpected movement in 2020, so there might be more this year. Since this time it is not the same as what happened in 2017, I also assume bitcoin can reach its price range of $50K-$60K because institutional investors are still buying more bitcoin for long-term investment.
