Despite not being the champions in the Serie A and being out of the title race a long time ago as well, Inter still won two titles so far which is very impressive. This season can be called as very successful for them for certain. Because in addition to these championships they are about to play in the Champions League finale against Manchester City.

Even though they are the underdog side in that game it is still a big success. I don't think Inzaghi would be criticized if they lose this game. But I'm pretty sure they would do their best. The board must be planning to go on with Inzaghi for a longer time.

For a moment I doubted Benfica about making it to the league title. Because especially after that draw on the previous week made the point gap with Porto 2. This helped Porto keep their chance for the league title even on the final week. But getting a clear win against Santa Clara sealed the deal for the championship for Benfica of course.

It was still a hard-fought win in the final moments and they finally put an end to their longing of three years for the Liga Portugal title. There is a serious level of drop in Sporting's effort which led them to join the Europa League this time. Sporting are having serious issues with going back to their competitive times in the league.

Bayern Munich, Dortmund and Leipzig are regulars in the Champions League from now on. But Union Berlin is the new member around here to join along them there. After competing in the Europa League they surely gained some experience in a European tournament. But there is still a big difference between the Europa League and Champions League.

If Union Berlin don't get lucky with group stage draw then they will most probably experience the tournament by being beaten hard. But the most important thing for them is to make as much money as possible in this tournament now.

Manchester City are on their way to make triple by winning the Champions League as well. Guardiola is having his best season with the team right now depending on whether they win the Champions League finale as well. On paper that game is also clearly winnable for the Manchester team. It is all about not underestimating their opponent even a bit.

Guardiola's target has been to win the Champions League title with this team all along. He hasn't been intending to leave without achieving it. If they win the title officially then I wonder how long we will be able to see Guardiola in his job right now.

All the weather report seems to have changed for tomorrow as well. There isn't any expectation of rain at race time according to my source either. This would just secure a win for Verstappen even more as long as he doesn't any issue with the car. Sainz and Norris captured the second and third positions in the qualifying maybe but I wonder what they will do in the race.

There is a big chance for Ferrari and McLaren both to be on podium this time but let's see. As overtaking isn't an easy task on this track these two drivers can turn it into an advantage for themselves. But pit strategies are also going to be very important in maintaining position.

Honestly Alonso seemed inconsistent in the practice sessions. In Q2 he was definitely great but in Q3 there wasn't such performance by him. Verstappen was ahead by 0.6s. But qualifying sessions are nearly always trickier than practice sessions. Actually I don't see any drop in performance from Verstappen unless he has some problem with the engine or some other crucial part of his car.

Alonso still has a big potential to take the second position for the race. Maybe we might even see a similar fight he had with Verstappen for pole position in Monaco. But in the race I don't think an Aston Martin car can catch up with Verstappen under normal conditions. 

None of the games today carries any importance about a target such as to qualify for a European tournament or to not relegate from the league. But it isn't the case for tomorrow of course. Atalanta, Roma and Juventus all doesn't have any chance left for the Champions League. However the first two teams are at least trying to secure a spot in the Europa League.

Juventus are the one chasing them one last time to steal one of their positions. Let's say Juventus managed to get a quota in the Europa League I wonder whether there would be one last chance for them to join the Champions League instead. Because if their punishment is removed again then they take Milan's position from them right away.

Atletico Madrid have made it to the Champions League by finishing the season at the third position. This is thanks to the high improvement in their form after a point during the season. They maintained a lasting winning streak and this made them even competitive for the second position as they finished only one point behind. This can all seem like a very good thing for Atletico Madrid.

However as I said before I don't think the general look of the season was good for them at all. Their Champions League effort was poor. They didn't start and maintain a good form in the La Liga which caused them to be out of the title race very early either. But now I see that they are still moving on with Simeone. This makes me think like they will continue with him until the end of his contract (which is the summer of 2024) and then decide what to do with him.

There are only two hours left for the FA Cup final game between the Manchester clubs. It is nice to see this big game in a big stadium like Wembley. The atmosphere should be incredible in this game there. Manchester City are still the obvious favourite to reach the cup at the end though. But there is nothing certain before seeing the performances of course.

Manchester United are doing much better than the past thanks to Erik ten Hag's management. They beat Manchester City in Old Trafford before in the season we've just left behind. If he develops the right strategy against this very tough opponent again who knows maybe they can make it to the title. But if they give full control of the game to them then there is no way they are winning this.

Mateo Kovacic is technically one of the best Croatian midfielders right now. Since the date he joined Chelsea from Real Madrid he has managed to increase his market value as well. But it looks like they are about to part ways with him and he is very likely to sign for Manchester City soon. His transfer fee is said to be around 35 million euros which is still below the price they signed him for first.

I wouldn't have expected Chelsea to sell him. Pochettino could have made use of a central midfielder like him a lot. There aren't many good central midfielders in the squad right now either. I hope they are planning to fill his place after selling him. If they sign a better central midfielder then there is no problem.

Marseille have been a big disappointment to me for this season. They couldn't even compete with Lens very well and they lost their position to them. Now Lens are going to be the one joining the Champions League group stage directly. Considering how strong Marseille started to the season I wouldn't have expected such result to be seen.

They have had serious level of inconsistencies after some time. I had doubts about Lens to do this much good but they really have done so far. They even maintained their title chance mathematically until the final weeks. Marseille need to learn their lesson from Lens' success to fight for the better next time.

No matter how hard they are trying Hamburg are about to lose another chance for the Bundesliga promotion. After leaving a long season behind I would have expected them to be more challenging for Stuttgart in play-out round. However they were a big mess in the first leg by losing 3-0. I don't think we would see any comeback in this matchup.

This is the second time in a row for Hamburg that they fail. They just can't get past their opponents in play-out so they should try harder for finishing in top 2 next time. I know they should be stronger than this normally. Otherwise how can they beat Bundesliga teams when they have a promotion? But they can at least reach their first target by making it back to the Bundesliga.

Everton barely saved themselves from relegation you know and it isn't the first time we see it happening either. They still can't find a solution to their horrible performance during a season. They actually don't have very bad players to cause this thing to happen. It is all about management of the team in my opinion. They deserve to be managed much better than this.

I don't think Sean Dyche is the right person to manage this team. I know it is hard to convince big names for this job but they can still find some reputable manager to start over and fight for upper positions in the standings.

I just don't understand these news sources. One of them says that Benzema has decided to stay with Real Madrid for another season. But another one which is ESPN here says that he is about to leave the team in a month to join Al Ittihad side. There is still around a month for his contract with Real Madrid to expire though. He can take his time to think about his future.

I think there is no need for him to stay from now on while he has a big opportunity to make a great deal of more money. He has achieved everything he can with Real Madrid so far in my opinion. Now he can think of a different journey for himself.

I don't know how much Juventus care about joining the Europa League or Europa Conference League at this point. But if I were in their shoes I would do my best to increase my position by one at least. Because maybe the Europa League is technically not what they want for this season. But they can still use it as a step to join the Champions League next time.

They can increase the number of alternatives to do so I mean. Who knows maybe they will have a problematic season in the Serie A again and then the Europa League title would be another hope for them to reach their target. They couldn't make this happen this season though but let's see.

Nuggets started off with a win in the series and this made me really happy. Because Nuggets have no NBA championship in their history so this is the biggest opportunity for them. Heat have like three championships and this is even a season in which most people weren't expecting to see them progressing this much. They finished the regular season as the eight team in their conference in the end.

But I think the dream run is about to end for Heat. I hope so as well. Because it is so hard to overlook Jokic's incredible effort on one hand. He has been one of the most consistent impressive players in this season. He is doing his best in every single game for the championship.

Messi is about to be free agent and his priority won't be PSG that's for sure. Maybe things would have been different if PSG signed a more successful manager immediately. They are still discussing whether Galtier should be given another chance or not. This is an unsuccessful season and you shouldn't have the luxury to even discuss such thing as a result.

Messi and Neymar might even leave at the same time. Messi will wait to hear from Barcelona before making his final decision. If there is no offer then I assume he would continue with PSG for one more season instead of leaving Europe for Al Ittihad. When it comes to Neymar he hasn't got any offer yet. But if he gets from a big team then he might also leave quickly.

I wonder what team will be able to compete with Manchester City for the Premier League title next time. I'm trying to stay positive about there would be a title race again. Because Manchester City are really far stronger than each one of the rest of the teams. I don't know if Arsenal can repeat this run by next season already. They will need to add some new players to the squad and keep a high discipline level.

But maybe this time we would see Manchester United joining the title race as a different thing. They improved a lot this season and they have a bigger potential to do more. With new transfers they can be more competitive for the title. It would be nice to see different teams in the race every season.

The final week of the season is going to be quite interesting because the final member of the relegation zone hasn't been decided yet. And there are many teams to finish there now. But it feels like this member will be Celta Vigo. Because their opponent is Barcelona while Valladolid are playing against Getafe home. I think Valladolid will beat them.

But I don't know about Celta Vigo. Barcelona have already announced their title of course but maybe they could surprise us by playing as usual in this final game of the season. Almeria can also beat Espanyol because Espanyol have been relegated already.

Harry Maguire is just nothing more than harm for Manchester United. In addition to his performing really badly when he has the chance, he can hit them financially as well. I mean I have heard that he can get 10 million pounds from the team in case of his departure in the summer. He still has two more years on his contract and I wonder what action the Red Devils will take.

Honestly if they don't want to damage their finance even with this amount they can just keep him in the substitutes. But in the long run this is worse for them actually. Because his salary is 9.9 million pounds a year and staying here 2 more years would be a bigger load to them. It looks like sending him this summer would be a better choice.
