2421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 14, 2022, 10:53:58 PM
I've watched how ceb handles pos 5 and he's not really ideal on it. I agree that it should be johan instead of him and ceb is a perfect coach for them since that's where he's started. As ceb plays pos 5, he's not doing what a pos 5 must do. It's entirely different from the usual pos 5 that I've watched. He needs to take a break and sub with johan but maybe we'll see that he's going to prove all of us wrong.

I don't understand too why they let Ceb play on the position he is not comfortable while Notail is available and with them to play his original position. Ceb commit a lot of mistakes especially when saving there core heroes. OG now ranking on the bottom and probably might end up on lower bracket. They are lucky that EG has worst performance on this tournament which make them safe from elimination. I think EG is already over on this major since they are always out drafted in every game they made on this tournament.

RTZ and Abed is a good carry players, It's just there heroes is always heavy counter on all there matches.
I think it's Ceb that has volunteered to play for the team. There's no problem with that but it should really be notail that has played for them and ceb as the coach.
They both fit for their respective roles. Anyway, they are far from being eliminated on this group stages while on the other group, the group B. No team will be eliminated there because of the disqualification of MG and that's good for that group and advantage to all of them to enter the playoffs.
2422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you going to keep some Terra Luna coins to keep as a keepsake? on: May 14, 2022, 09:57:21 PM
I don't believe your friend that's the main reason why he's bought Terra at worthless price. He bought it because just imagine owning hundred thousands of it to millions and billions and then with a centavo move, he's at profit already.
It's all about quantity over quality and that's not new to the trading world and he's longing to wait for that very moment until he's able to bag those profits from that centavo move.
2423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Suspend Terra LUNA Coins! on: May 14, 2022, 08:48:08 PM
Trading is back and Binance seems to be enjoying all of the commissions that they get from the people that have been happy on this pump and dump of Luna. Well, even it pumps that hard, it's not going back to the price that it used to be.

they will want to sell and get rid of it if they can,
I see many holders don't trust Luna anymore so most of them can't do anything..
want to throw it away can't with its worthless value and plus some exchanges have been suspended and I'm disappointed in myself for buying it
They're already at loss so why sell it at total loss if it has a lesser value now. They just have to hold it and wait if there's some good turn around that will happen if ever it recovers.
2424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Holding or Using ? on: May 14, 2022, 05:22:14 PM
We all know about BTC Holding and we all encourage it, and on the other hand we are also happy when we see someone buying a car with BTC. My point is, if we hold btc all the time, where is our profit if it is not used, and if it is just holding without using, how will its value increase?
It goes to the simple reason of; supply and demand.
That's why if many of us will hold, the value will be retained and that's going to make the supply lesser in the market and shall make the value higher.

And why are we happy when we see someone buy something from btc?  This issue has been circulating in my mind for a long time, what do you think about it?
It has became a norm that when you see someone with the same investments as you, you're happy for them because you know that they did the right thing.
2425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin continues to decline, what causes it? on: May 14, 2022, 10:29:13 AM
This kind of price drop is common in the crypto world because the price of crypto is also determined by supply and demand, and I think this sort of thing also happens in everything that has a price.
yes, one day market conditions will definitely recover and bitcoin or altcoins will touch ATH again. drastic price declines occurred in 2018 and most people thought that bitcoin would not reach ATH again, but what happened in 2021 was that bitcoin was able to reach much higher ATH than 2017. so there is no need to doubt, when the price of bitcoin drops drastically the thing we have to do is buy and hold.
In all markets, with supply and demand, this is also happening. What experienced people in the market will think when such decline comes is about the cycle.
We're all going to see that it's going to be another year of bear and will just have to be patient until we see the coming back of the bullish market. As it declines, it seems not hurting anymore unlike before that the market was totally down and everyone's upset. But now, I think everyone has learned from those bear markets and we all have our plans of accumulating and buying cheap.
2426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 13, 2022, 09:29:09 PM
Lost 4, and I can't accept that OG loss lol. I already knew that Ceb will be a dead weight as pos 5 but I still magically believe that they can somehow post a solid performance despite lacking a proper support. They should have placed Johan in there and Ceb as coach and we can see a very promising OG but oh well Grin

2427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Mining of a ''stablecoin'' might be a reality. $VAVA on: May 13, 2022, 07:28:40 PM
Sorry OP but everyone is turning now their worries to stable coins. Just after UST depegged and Tether has also shown a little low from the usual stable price that it has.
A new stablecoin that's about to be launched is most likely going to raise the eyebrows of everyone once it's being introduced. There's not that much trust anymore from it.
2428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA be recovered ever? on: May 13, 2022, 06:22:31 PM
Nobody knows. If the whales decided to pump it since it's totally down from the ATH and high price that it was, then we'll see to it that a pump is happening.
But if not, and all of us have decided that there's no need to invest on it then it will die eventually. It all goes with the idea that nobody will really know the real answer. It's still part of the volatile and speculative market. Many hopes for the high price that it can go back since they're stuck and have lost a lot of money on it.
2429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first purchase with Bitcoin (sort of) on: May 13, 2022, 05:19:11 PM
That can be said as purchase although you've donated it to the chosen foundation in support of those who are in need and being affected by the war.
Well, congratulations. What do you feel? You consider it as a purchase and at the same time you've contributed and donated. I think you're feeling overwhelmed now and wanting to do it again?  Grin
2430  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy? . . . Nah, hang on a minute. on: May 13, 2022, 11:43:57 AM
The most common strategies, you buy low and sell high. That's always the case but the problem starts when you think that you're probably low but it isn't the actual low because there's a lower price.
And in that manner, that's where the DCA comes in. Not just for the accumulation at any price that's probably a good time to buy when an increase is about to come. The same goes if the price is uncertainly low.
2431  Economy / Gambling / Re: RATING of TOP 10 E-SPORTS SPORTSBOOKS on: May 12, 2022, 10:32:40 PM
Only three I'm familiar with when it's about esports because they've been sponsoring esports events and tournaments and as well as teams. I haven't gambled with rivalry but I've seen them sponsoring Dota 2 teams.
Loot.bet and GG.bet, the same as well and seems to have the reputation being known since they're known in the esports community for betting and always attached their names on teams.
2432  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: May 12, 2022, 09:32:05 PM
If we want big profits in the short term (less than a month) and long term (more than a year) then today is the best time to buy, I'm sure that the bitcoin price will normalize soon and return to the level of $40k even more a month, maybe the bitcoin price it can drop below $25k, but the best thing is to be optimistic and don't panic, it's definitely better to keep buying.
And that's two things; saving and investing.
The two terms can actually use for having bitcoin, you save bitcoin and you're also investing. You're right that it's the best time to buy but we always tend to say that whenever the dip comes. There goes the people that have bought already when they've seen it under $30k and dismayed that it had to go low more. Avoid looking at the charts today for some moments if there's no need to do so.
2433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t rush to buy Bitcoin on: May 12, 2022, 08:37:40 PM
If there's a larger budget for buying bitcoin. It's better to do it in sequences like buying at this price then eventually if it goes lower, you still have money to buy again.
Yeah, the DCA strategy and you're going to thank that strategy for doing so because it will collect you a lot of it as you wait for the next bull run that's going to be sure to come after this bear.
2434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk won't save Doge or Bitcoin this time on: May 12, 2022, 09:02:41 AM
The market did ripened with Elon but even without him, the market will just continue the way it was before and no one's going to stop it.
No problem if bitcoin goes down and we see the buying opportunity and that's it. We're already on this market leaning with all of the best shots that we think that's part of our portfolio. Once this bloody massacre to the market stops, people will get excited again on how much it shall recover.
2435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ELI5: What happened to UST and why it happened? on: May 12, 2022, 06:54:08 AM
The Terra foundation said they're trying to back it up with bitcoin, right? So basically as bitcoin dumps, there have been a lot of sold bitcoins in the market and you can think of it where it came from. That contributed to the market plummet which doesn't have any sign of stopping anytime soon.
I highly doubt that there's still a way for them to recover from this disaster, that's billions of dollars that has been out of their circulation unless they really have a huge amount of reserve for real.
2436  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online casino. What's the reliability of the technology? on: May 11, 2022, 11:00:20 PM
But there are also too many people that let their emotions to take complete control and when that happens they cannot think clearly, and as such they look for any excuse to try to avoid their responsibility, so they blame the casinos for their losses when the reality is that no one forced them to gamble.
Out of disappointment, they're all looking for someone to blame for the bad result that they're not expecting. Also the system the casino is also blamed for as they dig just for themselves to be satisfied because of the unfavored outcome.
It all ends up with having no control and that's what we're always going to see when a gambler losses a lot and even there's a good system like RTP from that casino, they'll describe against it.
2437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven??? on: May 11, 2022, 09:58:12 PM
All types of investments have risks including bitcoin, even now I often hear cases of hack wallet because now more and more evil programs are spread to steal data on a PC or smartphone,
I don't think about those hacking or stealing of data is just coming randomly. It has to do something with the user themselves and how they use their devices.
If they just keep on downloading malicious files and keep on putting attention to the links that has been sent to them without inspecting what is that. They will really become victims of phishing and hacking.

if we think for the long term then I prefer to save bitcoin in the top exchanges last Use for staking.
This is a bad idea, you hold it long term better in a wallet and not in an exchange, hardware wallet mostly preferred. As the quote says "not your keys, not your coins".
2438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A time people have been waiting for bitcoin to drop on: May 11, 2022, 08:50:03 PM
There is this analysis I've been following up for more than a month..... For about 4 weeks now.. Incredible dump on Thursday.. New York session precisely, so if you think today's dip is bottom I think it's better to wait for tomorrow or better still, do a dollar cost average DCA on your trade. Bitcoin will bounce back stronger but the question is when exactly will it occur
Everybody will expect that the worst is yet to come. This is what the market is telling that and we all should be prepared for that. The diamond hands as they say will remain and those that will panic has to look for a reentry once again.
We all have our way of dealing this plummet and it's important learn the lesson that it's bringing and it's just the same with the other bear markets that we've dealt with.
2439  Economy / Economics / Re: Tanzania's Move to Introducing Their own Central Bank Digital Currency on: May 11, 2022, 07:54:15 PM
Even the news isn't completed or completed. I guess the world and each country is starting to see the relevance of cryptocurrencies and they're all sharing the same idea of having CBDC.
That's all they can do to have a sense of support for cryptocurrencies because they can't regulate the whole market. But, through the CBDC, they'll have their own centralized crypto.

Since the government can't regulate the circulation of cryptocurrencies, what they can do is really introduce their own CBDC. That is to address the control they want. If their people will start understanding how to utilize CBDC, then later on, for sure they will get oriented with crypto and learn the benefits if they will deal with decentralized platforms. Many countries are now exploring to create their own CBDCs, and with this initiative, these government officials will also understand why people are into crypto when they compare it to using CBDC. They may even change their mind towards the crypto market once they educate themselves with its technology.
Yes, that's exactly why they choose cbdcs. Although the good thing with that is they're for crypto but, they can alter that decision and just make a law that other cryptos are ban.
In reality, CBDCs aren't really cryptos at all as they're just trying to put a string to attach on it so that citizens that are not into crypto will easily understand that's how it goes based on how the government's introduction for it because it's popular and known.
2440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best decentralized stablecoin? on: May 11, 2022, 06:55:15 PM
Centralized stable coins are truly not trustworthy but we really don't have lots of options in this space. It will be very difficult to find a decentralized stable coin aside DAI. my suggestion is for you to go through the centralized stable coins and choose the best for you that's if and only of you are not making use of DAI
There's a complete manipulation that has happened to the current hot stable coin in the market, UST. It's no longer pegged to a dollar and many have lost a lot of money on it because of anchor/staking. DAI is still the best option if you're going to put your profits in a stable coin because it's a lowkey stablecoin and what matters most is that it is decentralized. I won't mention any other stable coin because you will really never know if the same thing can happen to them.
