India just managed to reach 285/7 in 50 overs against HK. This is not a good score considering it is HK atleast they should have made 325+ runs if they have to beat the best of the teams. Also HK is 139/0 and India team has not even manage to pick up a single wicket in 30 overs till now.

285/7 is a par score against Associate nations, but you would expect these scores to be easily defended. The first wicket partnership really scared India, but once India got the Hong Kong openers out, HK was under pressure. Even though this is a second string Indian side, I expected them to thrash HK. That didn't happen, with India winning by only 26 runs.

A very close match indeed. At one point, it seemed like India would lose this one.

Tomorrow's match between India and Pakistan will be a very interesting one. India should let Khaleel Ahmed play one more match tomorrow, it won't be a wise decision to get him out of the team against a very solid team.

I really give Afghanistan a high chance at winning this match later today against Sri Lanka. I might even bet a small amount of money on them to win as they are the underdogs to win this match but with the form Sri Lanka are in at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised to see Afghanistan win.
This is going to be very interesting match as Afghanistan manage to score 249 runs and we can say its good one as Sri Lankan batting struggling with very poor form of their players Afghanistan is much better then Bangladesh in bowling now lets see how Lankan response because if they down then surely they will out and this could be disastrous for them and can hurt their preparation for world cup.

Afghanistan has given a reasonable performance with the bat, scoring 249. Sri Lanka will be under pressure, after their disastrous loss to Bangladesh. They seem to have the chase under control, scoring 42/1 in their 10 overs. If they do not panic, this chase will be achieved with ease. The Afghani spinners will have to be denied wickets.

Sri Lanka lost the match by 92 runs. It's an amazing start by Afghanistani team and let's see if they can keep up this momentum and actually qualify for the next round.

Sri Lanka played the whole match awfully, from top-order to lower-order, every single batsman played a disappointed inning.

Next match of the Asia Cup will be played between India and Hong Kong tomorrow in Dubai; it should be an easy win for India.

Hello, devs!
Tell me, please, does your web wallet work?
When I go to the web purse, I do not see either my balance or my transactions (I waited more than 5 minutes, tried to forcefully refresh).

It works perfectly. Make sure you're using the right "Hush Wallet Settings" on the wallet page.

Yes, thank you, everything works fine. I really forgot to go into the settings and switch from "secret phrase" to "private key". After changing this setting, everything turned out! Thank you very much for your help!

Great! I remember I told about that to more than a hundred users back in December 2017, when Hush was valued at somewhat like ~$20. Cheesy

I wonder whether there are any other resident Pakistanis on this board? So far I haven't encountered any but according to bitnodes there a few bitcoin users in Pakistan and I know of at least one miner.

Anyway let's see if any show up  Tongue

If you are looking to safely buy or sell bitcoins in Pakistan check out localbitcoins.
I am Pakistani too, and bitcoin enthusiast. Its good to see Pakistani community finally coming around cryptocurrency and blockchain world. Hopefully, this soon will become next big thing here!

There are less Pakistani members on this section the reason is most of peoples didn't know that there is hidden section for Pakistani community here otherwise there's lots of Pakistani active in Crypto world no doubt! Pakistani people believe in blockchain technology  Cool
I agree Pakistanis believe in this Crypto and Blockchain technology but sadly no one officially supporting this and we cannot organize any big event because authorities already ban use of this technology and we have very long road to go but if some one lead here then surely we can manage some good but if some one have ability to lead and go.

Nice to see Monero back in the top ten. Could have been there for awhile mind you and I haven’t noticed.

Are you invested in monero?

invested lmfao! ~ who invests in any of these? :-D bitmonero you mean? lulz

Money launderers will always prefer Monero to bitcoin/ethereum/coins with public blockchain. Monero isn't dying.

CAUTION! Volatile days ahead:

Yeah that doesn’t read good I’m afraid. If I was a day trader I’d go short right now.

Imo FUD lost its power.

IMO, right after the close of CBOE futures = the jump of $500.

~snip~

Wow, at this speed, Bittrex will have all of its listed coins added as USD pairs.

It's good to see that; more USD (fiat) markets = less reliance on Tether (USDT).

We’re rolling out more USD pairs. On Sep 17 we’re launching US dollar (USD) markets for TRON (TRX) and Litecoin (LTC). Eligible #Bittrex accounts created before Sep 4 are already enabled for USD trading.

Two new USD pairs coming soon. Smiley

they are getting booted from U.S.A. heading to Malta? :\ i just want my coins back they stole from me!

They're opening up another "branch" in Malta; Bittrex will remain registered mainly in United States.

May I ask how they stole your coins from you?

Bangladesh literally outclassed Sri Lanka this time. The next match will be played between Pakistan and Hong Kong. It should be an easy win for Pakistan.
2612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 15, 2018, 12:42:24 PM
After a disastrous start against Sri Lanka, the middle-order of Bangladeshi team is looking good. Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Mithun are close to 50-run partnership; they should make it at least a hundred-plus run partnership.

East Asia Cup is underway and I don't think that anyone here is even aware of it. It is a quadrangular tournament played between Japan, South Korea, China and Hong Kong Dragons (Dragons is the name of the ethnic Chinese team in Hong Kong). Japan and Hong Kong Dragons have qualified for the finals.

Wow! I've never even heard of "East" Asia Cup before; sounds interesting.

Here's yet another nail in the coffin for us GPU Ethereum miners, another Ethash ASIC miner on the horizon...sometime soon.

"Dubbed Project Lavasnow, Linzhi's new ethereum miner claims to use 1/8th the amount of electricity as Bitmain's ethash miners,
according to a presentation Chen developed for the Ethereum Classic Summit held this week. It also expects to run 1,400 million
hashes per second, compared to 190 from one of Bitmain's AntMiners."

Don't worry, our GPUs will stay useful:

Exactly. 33 years is just way too early for retirement.
2618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I'm mining at a loss on: September 13, 2018, 07:31:48 PM
I have a friend that sometimes operates at a loss but he said its part of doing business.  Lots of businesses start out unprofitable for a long time, look at how Amazon started.  They were unprofitable for many years.

...so many insane people on bitcointalk these days.

Business run at a loss are for completely different reasons. You're comparing apples to typewriters. If you want to compare it that way it's equivalent to an oil company investing money into expensive equipment and drilling rights do drill oil at a cost of $100 per barrel hoping to be able to sell it for a profit later when they instead could just directly buy the oil at $75 a barrel and hold. Nobody is saying it's not possible for it to become profitable in the future but you guys can't seem to wrap your head around the fact that it's literally the same thing as saying "I want some eth to sell later at a profit. I see the price is $200 right now but i'd rather pay $250 to mine it". This topic has been beat so far into to the ground it's unbelievable. If anyone has read through this whole thread and still considers it wise to mine at a loss i'm really sorry to say because I don't like calling people dumb, but you may want to consider whether it's possible you might be over estimating your own mental capacity. I'm signing off this thread. Cheers!

Merited! You saved my time! I was gonna write something similar but in a *very* harsh manner.
