i've heard of people all over the world, living in the cheap areas, and not having returned to their home countries for 5+ years... especially in places like thailand.

thailand is fools gold.. so many guys think it's utopia there, but for me at least, i'd get sick of the lifestyle. the foreigners there just chill and do nothing, living on a cheap budget.. pussy is cheap and almost free (if you are a whitey).

there really needs to be a new good director who dominates in space/sci fi movies.. kind of like the christopher nolan of sci fi space movies.

if they don't want to get bitcoins, that is their right. why do you care? if bitcoin lifts off the planet, then you can just shove it in their faces.

That's the attitude I'm pretty much taking, but I can understand OP's frustration, it is a bit depressing, but I'll have the last laugh when I'm sitting on a stockpile of gold bullion at the end of it all.

My bro thought I was silly for buying Bitcoin at £70. Not so much now as he wants in.

you gotta get some BTC tinted glasses, a silk road, two prostitutes for each arm.. and bring them into your room, telling him he missed out on a lucrative opportunity.

in thailand, sex is not really all that taboo. in japan, they are quite liberal when it comes to fornication. there are over 2 billion asian people in the world, so it's kinda hard to generalize them.

Work.  Nobody can relax forever; to say you would is akin to saying you'd drink the ocean because you're thirsty Tongue

there are lots of peole who just relax, all day. i don't think i could handle it myself. but at the same time, you don't want to work too hard if you don't need to.

i think the film couldn't find any investors, so vin diesel put a lot of his own money into making it. he might not get all of it back

alright, you guys got me.. it's a completely useless computer. less than $100.. could probably still be used by someone really power, or possibly as an HTPC.

It can be used as a router, however you can get Dell Optiplex P4s by the pallet - the whole PC - for less than the cost of a power supply.

like $40? i've seen a shitload of those dell optiplexes.. my uncle even still uses one of those.

2873  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help me identify this computer I just bought on: January 06, 2014, 05:39:51 AM
why don't you just turn it on and find out for yourself? it's an AMD CPU that you have. how can anyone tell by just looking at it and not finding out what the model numbers are (besides the couldn'tmobo).

Well thank you Mr.  Beetcoin for your valuable input.  Having no power supply is currently the obstacle preventing me from turning it on.  I have already googled all the numbers and other markings I could find on it, the motherboard is an A7N8X, the gpu is a hd3850... i was just hoping somebody might recognize the case or have some prior knowledge about this computer. Additionally I was hoping somebody would have a power supply that fits it and would be willing to part with it for some tiny  sum in btc.

video card is old, mobo is old.. but not too old. you can buy a 400W psu for something like $20 after rebate.

Tweeted by William Shatner today:

"Ok so I'll go open up an account and see if these codes will translate into real bitcoin and then figure out what to do with them."

Will Mr. Spock be next?

I'm sure if he posted his address he'd get a lot of donations.

I just tweeted him, suggesting he do such.

did you attach a pic of yourself in a bikini to get his attention?
2876  Other / Off-topic / Re: If someone can find who this woman is, I would love to donate BTC to her on: January 06, 2014, 03:55:24 AM
Cliffs: A girl is bullying another girl on the train, a huge black woman saves her and beats the crap out of the bully and kicks her off the train.

So one assault is uncool, but another (worse) assault is OK?     Huh

i don't know about that, but assaulting the assaulter is more permissible.
2877  Other / Off-topic / Re: If someone can find who this woman is, I would love to donate BTC to her on: January 06, 2014, 03:48:18 AM
yeah that's basically how i felt.. it's better than watching the bully get away with the bullying. more permissible than what that girl in the red coat did.
2878  Other / Off-topic / Re: Thinking of selling my miners... GF tells me not to. on: January 06, 2014, 03:19:25 AM
kind of funny, since girlfriends usually want you to do the exact opposite. keep her!
2879  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: January 06, 2014, 02:51:43 AM
dexter is bad because the producer left after season 4.. the writing on that show was beyond horrid from seasons 5-8, especially with the last season.

i watched the first 2 seasons of sons of anarchy.. it was good, but not my type of show.
