eh looks like no new episode of californication. i'm glad the show's ending - i think it's a little bit long in the tooth. just the same rehashed shit, even if it's still funny.
Me too. It was so funny when it first started, but the past few seasons have been bad. This season so far is suprisingly much better than the last season IMO. Maybe because Hank's daughter hasn't been in it. She annoys me. House of Lies is the same way. Started off good, already out of material. yeah she's kind of annoying. but i'm not an extremist like some crazy fans of tv shows. for example, the actress who plays skylar has received death threats from fans.. for portraying her character. what makes californication stupid is its repeating cycle over and over. hank tries to get back with karen, and then some unforeseen shit happens, and that plan gets nixed. karen gets mad at hank, other shit happens, the daughter whines and bitches, hank goes on booze binges and bangs chicks, and then eventually he does something sweet or kind, and karen forgives him. then he tries to get back with her.. rinse and repeat. Wait which one is Skylar? Death threats??? What type of loser makes death threats about actors' roles. i can't believe that people actually consume energy drinks.. it's so full of fucking sugar that i can feel myself getting diabetes drinking it. and then that caffeine high just makes me feel sick. Energy drinks contain far less sugar, when compared to other carbonated beverages such as Pepsi and Coca Cola. A serving of monster energy contains about 25 grams of sugar. For comparison, a serving of smoothie normally contains about 35 to 40 grams of sugar. A 12 Oz can of Coke contains 39g of sugar.  doesn't make it any less sugary. i limit my soda drinking these days because those, too, are diabetes drinks. i don't drink vietnamese ice coffee anymore too - i get nauseated as fuck with that thing. it's so potent. |

Donald Sterling sure is fucked, all around fucked. He's going to die now not as a legend but a rich racist loser. He was complaining about his little golddigger taking a picture with the legend Magic Johnson. I mean, he must really have some pent up aggression if he's going to flip out about a black guy with his chick when that black guy is one of the biggest names to ever play the sport he was involved on for most of his life! So sad, I hope the other owners vote him out and sell off his stake. It would be awesome if someone like like Dennis Rodman or Jay-Z bought his portion! For sure Dennis is broke and cant afford it but Jay can! And he's owned a small portion of a basketball team before. I wouldn't be surprised if hes been reaching out to pick up Donalds part. I don't know much about Mark Cuban, except the fact that he owns the Dallas Mavericks. Why you are calling him a racist? Has he ever made similar remarks as Donald Sterling did? NO WAY!!! Mark Cuban is awesome. he is. and i think he's one of the best owners in the league. he's made some really good decisions, at least in my opinion, with the mavs franchises. decisions that most owners wouldn't have taken. instead of re-upping his 2011 championship team, he decided for a rebuild.. which was the right choice imo. |

louis is finally back after an 18 months hiatus - i fucking love louis ck.
I don't mind his stand up comedy and some of it's pretty funny from the short clips I've seen on YouTube, but of the few episodes I've seen of his sitcom I really don't get it at all. Only watched a few episodes of the first season but found it really unfunny. I've seen the episode with Ricky Gervais as well. i don't really find it that funny. it's just a show about the musings of his mind. he plays just a regular joe trying to raise his kids. i get it if most people don't like it, but i do. |

I've been a fan of Russell from way before he was famous and regardless of what anyone says about him he does have a lot of interesting things to say. He's going to have to find a balance between being a Hollywood A-lister and an outspoken libertarian (or whatever you want to call him) without looking like a hypocrite though (not that you can't necessarily be both). He's a very intelligent person and I agree with the vast majority of what he has to say, but I really hope he doesn't ruin his career because of his outspoken views as I can easily see him getting blackballed and falling into obscurity like many others who speak out against the norm or MSM etc.
I also love how Russell manages to woo pretty much any woman that he comes into contact with. I suspect that's why a lot of men hate him haha.
i'm a fan of his, and also a meditator like him. he's pretty awesome. i know some people criticize him for "preaching" while living with abundant wealth, but it's not a big issue for me. btw, if guys hate him, it's because he kind of has a bohemian/hippie style to him. and they hate that. I think criticising his wealth is a petty topic really and that's usually also just out of jealousy, but I'm sure there are many reasons why people, especially men, dislike him: wealth, fame, looks, intelligence, Englishness, eccentricity, outspokenness, and most of all the sheer amount of women he's slept with and they haven't  . And I don't get the whole meditating thing. I've always been a sceptic of it but maybe I just don't understand it. you should try the meditation before being a skeptic. doesn't that make sense? and being british makes him hateable huh.. i didn't know people hated brits. i think the people who don't like him because he speaks freely and has that hippie vibe - lots of americans hate hippies, mainly the conservatives. You don't think people hate people because of their nationality? You also seem to try make a point of my Englishness or Britishness when you can too . People will use whatever they can about you to try get one over or dislike you for it. And I'm a sceptic on spiritualist mediums, but it doesn't mean I need to go see one to confirm my suspicious. All meditation looks like to me is closing your eyes and relaxing. I do that all the time right before I go to bed. there's a difference between talking shit and hating/disliking someone or something. i just talk shit about brits. i've never really heard someone say "fuck that guy man, he's a brit." |

the news is also out that he is currently battling cancer, so the guy might die before the litigation is over.
Litigation will be of no use to Donald Sterling. NBA acted according to their rules and Sterling has no argument here. Too bad.... he may get some $400-500 million after the taxes, which is not too bad IMO. lol... one leaked phone call and a loss of $233 million. Be careful billionaires. you do know that the nba's rules can be contested right? especially if they are misusing their powers. sterling is going to at the very least drag this one out. i wonder what's going to happen if he ends up dying and his heirs receive the franchise.. would the league try to force his kids out? because that wouldn't be fair. The NBA already said they do not want his family to own the team. I think the owners will vote soon (on the forced sale), but I forget the date. i think it's already unanimous that they are going to force him out. but the commisioner has already stated that he expects stern to take this to court; he's already told stern that the NBA is willing to fight the fight. |
