what are his reasons for saying that amazon will start accepting bitcoin? i think that kind of news would actually start pushing the price up.

i'm asian too. no one here is going to get into soccer, not with so many other sports around.

Are you from China? Soccer is very much popular everywhere else in Asia. And what are these other sports? Athletics? Hockey? Cricket?

football, basketball, baseball, and hockey. they exist not only at the pro level, but collegiate.. that's a lot of screen time.

i never understood why people liked 2001: a space odyssey so much. there was practically no fucking story the entire movie. wtf?

For all those bewildered by the length and pace of this film ("like, why does he show spaceships docking for, like, 15 minutes?"), here's a word you might want to think about:

Beauty.

a better word: inanity.

if i wanted to look at pretty shit, i'd go out in nature or stare at a picture. i hated 2001 for the same reason why i hated tree of life.

i generally like stanley kubrick films though.

what a fucking gold digging bitch  Cheesy

mark jackson was due to be fired anyways. he's also got a sordid history of being anti-gay i believe.. and an adulterer, in spite of being a minister in LA. he seemed like a terrible coach who was only able to give good pep talks.

Some of the most suitable uses for the Coke listed there:

1. Cleans car battery terminals
2. Makes pennies shine
3. Cleans tile grout

Much cheaper and readily available when compared to the chemicals which are in use already.

If this is already known for almost everyone why Coke is still one of most popular drinks on earth? I just don't get it.

it tastes  good. people tend to not care much about their health, but instead they prefer whatever tastes good. plus they've been around for more than 100 years, and all that marketing to get us to drink it.

bruce willis IRL is such a god damn prick. seems like his only concern in making films is $. doesn't care about anything else.

He seems to have run out of money in the recent 2-3 years, because he is making film after film nowadays.  Most of them are bad.  5 out of 10s at best.

Lol. I highly doubt he ran out of money, considering both that he is an A-list actor, and has done a lot of movies. I'm sure the real reason is because he is primarily an action actor, and as you get older you can do less and less action movies. So he is trying to do more films before he gets old.

Depends what he spends/or spent his money on. Many movie stars go crazy buying houses and cars all over the world then have a dry spell and realise they can't keep up the repayments or mortgages on them. Banks just throw money at you when you're famous, but I doubt or haven't heard of Bruce Willis being in money trouble.

chris tucker didn't do anything after rush hour 2 i believe.. blew all his money, get in debt with the IRS, and had to start doing movies again.

Didn't he quit acting to become a minister or something? I thought he changed his life and became against using curse words, which was part of the reason he was so funny in his movies

i don't think so. he blew all his money. few years ago made a comeback and did some movies and standup or something.
2310  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America Should Open its Borders? on: May 07, 2014, 07:23:02 AM
No I do not think we should open our borders. There is enough crime as there is and I think opening our boarders will make it a whold lot worse.

Agreed. In most of the countries in the developed world, a majority of the crimes are committed by the recent immigrants.

A perfect example here:

http://europenews.dk/en/node/63520

Quote
Back in May it was reported that every rape assault in the city of Oslo in the last five years had been committed by a person with a "non-Western” background – a Norwegian euphemism for Muslim. Now it turns out that there have already been twice as many rape assaults in Oslo so far this year as there were in all of 2010.

"In most of the countries in the developed world, a majority of the crimes are committed by the recent immigrants." Absolute bullshit and this is just the ignorant and incorrect rhetoric racists spew (but you're not a racist, right?). Do you have any official sources for these claims or figures, you know, ones that don't come from stuff you've just made up or from shoddy racist websites with a political agenda?

yeah that's just propaganda bullshit. if i were a new immigrant, the last thing i would want to do is fuck with the law. if that statistic were true, it's probably because immigrants have so much stacked against them that they get desperate.

Yep. Never heard of Bruce Willis.

But I heard a few such reports for Nicholas Cage. I guess that's why he is going on the movie-spree without being choosy for good scripts.

yeah it's a reddit thing.. got so popular that community did a nick cage theme... that was the funniest skit/episode of the entire show. i actually LOL'd at it.

bitcoin's market cap would have to be in the trillions in order for it to gain enough money to support anything astronomical. what would that be.. probably at least 100k per coin.

portugal. the man - purple yellow red and blue

all i wanna do is.. live in extasy. i know what's best for me.

love how it's satire of american culture  Wink

What's your favourite album of theirs? I'll give them another go. The new album is the only one I haven't listed to.

i don't know. i just pay attention to the songs i like. there are about 4 or 5 of them. their music is basically about mocking modern society and religion, which is better than hearing a song about how much person a love person b, or a song about bitches and hoes.

You do know those aren't the only two types of songs? Cheesy

based on what i hear on the radio, no i didn't know that  Smiley

neil young - my my, hey hey

I'm a big fan of LA Clippers.

Obviously Deandre Jordan is not the best player on the Clippers (especially his Free Throw percentage), but oddly enough (or maybe not that weird), they seem to win when he has a productive game, or lose when he does not have a good game.

If he could start making his free throws, he wouldn't be such a liability in the 4th quarter of big games...

he's pretty important to them. he's no offensive juggernaut, but he catches so many lobs that it makes penetrating easier for chris paul or griffin. the defender either has to step up or sag off to DJ. defensively he's been beastly too, something goes unnoticed more than offensive contributions.
