3201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many people think that Bitcoin is not a currency with practical uses on: March 03, 2021, 02:50:07 PM
~
Finally.
I thought I was the only one thinking that other people forgot already its practical uses. It's kinda weird to think sometimes that there are three types of investors here. One for value, two for its uses and three for both.
I do the both, while having separate wallet for use and for investment.
There's nothing wrong with either one of it, but sometimes it even becomes a debate in a thread.
3202  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: What will be the ATH in 2021? on: March 03, 2021, 02:46:45 PM
57k+ was our last ATH and it is visibly possible that it could way higher than that.
It wasn't a crawl increase but it was a surge, so soon we might be going back to that price soon.
As of writing this, the price right now is 50k and yet we're struggling a bit to get to that.
It is either it is more than $100k this year or that exact price.
3203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit My Full Time Job to Trade Cryptos Full Time on: March 03, 2021, 02:44:16 PM
~
Nice.
That's quite an inspiration there, OP. I was overlooking that quitting full-time job even remote ones aren't worth for crypto but it seemed like you rid of those doubts. I guess many would follow your tracks soon enough and it would be a lot of inspiration to be told to everyone since this pandemic destroyed a lot of businesses.
Quite risky but hella worth it based on your story, OP.
3204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you get mad when the price of your cryptos go higher after you have sold on: March 03, 2021, 01:46:03 PM
~
Never encountered that because I don't go all-in and all-out.
Why can't people see that it is a bit draining to see zero balance even if you got your profit?
Like my experiences in various coins like ETH and BTC, they were never left out zero and I just sold some bits of it then continue holding.

If there's anything I regret, it would be not learning crypto earlier pre-2017.
3205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth gas fees and investing on: March 03, 2021, 01:39:19 PM

Disagree, many of community here prefer decentralized project over a centralized one. Also, Centralized project will benefits the team most over the community.
Agree. Let alone corruption in the authorities is insane. While corruption is anywhere that involves money, decentralized projects is one way to almost be out of it.
This is another reason why I invested in crypto rather than just being on banks.
3206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge profit but how to withdraw on: March 03, 2021, 01:37:14 PM
Hi

If i say i am from anti crypto country means withdrwals and deposits prohibited.

If i get a huge profit of 1million usdt. So how can i withdraw it, shall i move to crypto friendly country and withdraw or any solutions ?
Moving to a crypto-friendly country might be too overkill but it will surely solve your problem, OP.
You should look for p2p groups that does that. What country are you from? Is there a local section of your country here in the forum, you might be better off discussing that matter in that section, if any.
Otherwise, look into social media groups like Facebook so that you can find any leads.
It's a bit riskier there rather than here because even comments there is being flooded by random shills.
3207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL ₿itcoin for Life, not for Lifetime. on: March 02, 2021, 07:38:11 PM

People have their own target price to sell, so they still hold it until they see that price. But yes, I think we can sell bitcoin at the high price and buy back more bitcoin when the price is down because that can give us more amount of bitcoin that we already sold before. If we can have more amount of bitcoin than before, we can have a chance to make a bigger profit, and if we can do that continuously, the profit will be bigger.
Many people could've taken advantage of the price around <45k. It's not the solid floor and it could go way below lesser than that.
Seems like this price range we got which is between 45k and 50k is a bit day tradeable.
Longer-term profits isn't yet showing its signs right now but I know we're gonna retake >50k price. This'll be like dreaming again the 20k back in 2017 but barely managed then suddenly it went higher than that.
3208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Still market not show bear signals on: March 02, 2021, 07:34:37 PM

Well there isn't any guarantee here in crypto, OP, but that's not a bad thing to think about. Seeing that coins like Bitcoin tanked and still managed to be up to those years til now and that's even 6 years from your starting point in investing here.
Some even invested since 2009 and might be thinking the same as you.
There aren't guarantee but that's something you should take advantage at.
3209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins? on: March 02, 2021, 04:43:16 PM
Yep especially ETH. Not sure about those other coins you mentioned back in 2017, but it seems like they're still quite known of a coin these days still.
One reason that other people look for farther coins in the ranking is for the opportunity anyway plus lower price, but it is high of a risk.
Some of these older coins deserve to last but most of it just don't.
3210  Economy / Speculation / Re: ARE WE STILL BULLISH OR BEARISH ? on: March 02, 2021, 04:29:22 PM
~
Bull's exhausted right it seems.
Anyone looking to buy right now should consider doing it so.
I've been holding quite from a long-time already.
This 45k-ish stable level made me remember back in the days when Bitcoin stabilized a lot in 7k.
3211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I convince people that Bitcoin isn't a financial pyramid? on: March 02, 2021, 04:22:57 PM
#2 is a spot-on. Thank you for that, OP.
I'll tell that to people having doubts into it.
Many of my colleagues back then told me that Bitcoin is straightly a "scam", I was like astounded on "scam for what?".
Who benefits from it even if it is a scam? It's decentralized, bruh.
3212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can / cannot replace the banks ? on: March 02, 2021, 09:37:28 AM
Love to see banks eliminated? Then it would take for BTC to be centralized if that's what you're wanting for.
We love Bitcoin from its decentralized nature, right?
This questions was brought up multiple times back in 2018, and some people still think that it is gonna be good thing.
We're already fine to how Bitcoin can be used.
3213  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think it's time to go Short on Bitcoin on: March 02, 2021, 09:32:02 AM
~
Going flat by $45k + lately.
Not sure what's ahead right now but it seems to stabilize around that price lately.
No panicking, lad. I got used to this kind of price pattern.
3214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think every trader should do to stay in the green on: March 01, 2021, 07:52:08 PM
~
Well every poster of these have their own timeline.
One would dream of the greens and one would dream to be in the red tide. I guess the OP just said the both sides of the coin.
Green and the red tide isn't for everyone.
Imagine how many were looking to buy many BTC back when it was around 57k.
3215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it really a benefit that nobody controls the price? on: March 01, 2021, 07:49:55 PM

Yups, the Bitcoin price will not continue to be stable. It is true what he said. Because the ups and downs of a currency must have certain causes. There is no way, the price of that currency will become stable. Maybe for a few days you can, but on the next day there will definitely be something that causes the price to decrease, whether it's from an economic or political situation it can cause the Bitcoin price to either slowly decline or immediately drop far from its usual price. Vice versa, this situation can also make currency prices improve and soar up, even exceeding the usual price. The price of crypto is basically influenced by its demand and availability in the market.

As an example :

The demand for bitcoin in the market is on the rise, but the availability of sellers is not able to meet the demands of buyers in the market. Thus, the price of bitcoin goes up, because demand is higher than availability. Likewise, when the market wants to melt bitcoin into cash and its availability floods the market. Thus, the price of bitcoins will fall, as there are more sales than purchases.
It's quite crazy actually. Seems like OP isn't used to the volatility that the market shows lately.
I got used already to Bitcoin's instability and I've been trading it for quite 3 years already and it doesn't seem to make me quit not even a flinch just yet. Cheesy
The demand you mentioned seems like due to many mentions to it to the media lately.
3216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment projects ? on: March 01, 2021, 07:19:20 PM
~
Indeed new altcoins are not the best variant for long-term investment, if we are looking for projects for the long term, we should focus on top altcoins. l think they have more potential than others. As you above mentioned BTC and ETH are really the best options. ETH price is still high, but l think it will not stay at 1.5k. ETH will start price increasing in the future. We can make good money from ETH investment. l think l don't need to talk about BTC because BTC is the best.
There are pros and cons sometimes in even choosing altcoins in the top.
It's all about missing the opportunity and possible potential, but from how the top coins just stood their ground almost for many years, I don't think there's still a reason to invest to lower ranking coins anyway.
Anyways, still ETH for me in the end.
3217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investment criteria and advices on: March 01, 2021, 07:17:30 PM

Even those three you mentioned aren't up to no good especially IEO, it just that scams even follow the trend and continue screwing people.
Probably those three fall as well into how it fell for ICO back in the days especially in 2017-2018
3218  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc dump today and yesterday on: March 01, 2021, 03:48:35 PM

It is just Bitcoin being Bitcoin.
Aside from it being just volatile, it seemed like to be driven by celebrities like Elon. It's to be expected anyway because he has many followers.
On the other side, don't panic though. I don't and many don't as well.
3219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How future applications would be !? on: March 01, 2021, 03:45:24 PM
~
Like every type of app should be (web app, desktop app, mobile app, etc).
Users don't care technicalities, like what language/s used to build the said app.
Private key is quite too technical but it is still crucial to know what it is, because for obvious reasons in holding one's money in a wallet. Maybe rid off technicalities and elif.
3220  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price is 47k$, is good time to invest ? on: March 01, 2021, 03:37:52 PM
Can it drop more from that? Yes, OP. In fact, as of writing this, you could have missed the opportunity already as it dipped below 45k. I remember it was like 43k-ish before it rebounded back to 47k. Don't panic though, we're still getting a lot of price correction lately so you might get another chance. If you're really into investing it now, you could.
I would still advise to wait a bit, then if it somehow go more than 48.999k, then don't think twice already.
