2361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scenario of the crypto market in near future. on: July 02, 2021, 01:35:40 PM

Doesn't matter.
Let the news be news even if some of them are purely FUDs. Some are paid to spread such rumors and just create massive confusion in the end.
I just look at the price of Bitcoin and just see how news takes that increase/decrease but don't react according to how it was worded out cause I am not the one that panics .
2362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Baby Doge? on: July 02, 2021, 01:26:36 PM

I respect the guy as well, but I just can't stand him keeping on pumping these coins up purely out of hype.
It could be just that the guy is just like those one of twitter users that you manage to stumble upon promoting X coin.
It is just that people expect a lot when a coin gets shilled a lot.
2363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: in between the decision to hold or sell on: July 02, 2021, 01:21:05 PM

There's better if you were actively reading the price conversion lately of Bitcoin. There was that time that it hit 29k for short period of time before it did its unstable price increase leading to that price range you mentioned. Smiley
Pretty good deal if you would ask me.

Please stop seeing this site as an earning platform to work at.
This is a forum where everyone can discuss anything crypto-related especially Bitcoin.
I suggest reading the stickies first, OP.

2365  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is still so cheap? on: July 01, 2021, 02:43:41 PM
I see you a lot here in BTC Discussion, and you are a strong hodler from what I can read from your past replies. Let the price of the BTC be right now. It is quite expensive now actually for those who have been hodling it since last year.
Haven't saw the El Salvador adoption of Bitcoin, but I guess it just that people are not really into it.
Let them be, OP. Enjoy the lower tides for now. Smiley

What do you mean by "do well" here, OP?
If it means that you can gain reputation, it is possible through your interaction with any other people in here. It could be from any services rendered in here, though it is pretty much expected that you should have at least a little bit knowledge about crypto but it shouldn't be that you should be too tech-savvy.
2367  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ignorance and greed, that's the cause of it all, everyone be warned. on: July 01, 2021, 10:24:55 AM

They just go an do an auth post instantly just by seeing the application format.
Quite sad that there are users here that are still willing to advertise a scam platform and they'll get paid with the people they scammed.
It's a dirty money.
2368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Social media advice to newbies on: July 01, 2021, 10:00:33 AM

Oh thanks for the quote and reply.
I guess I kind of missed the thread since I didn't tread a lot here in B&H back in those years.
Nice compilation!
I found the Binance Quiz listed there as well.
2369  Economy / Economics / Re: When everybody tell you take take risk with money on: July 01, 2021, 06:03:27 AM

This is why other people shouldn't do loans or credits when they are not even needed in the first place. I had heard a lot of people willing to swipe their credit cards for Lambo just for the sake of IG and of course social status.
In the end, they're just gonna ended up going broke and selling that deprecated asset since they needed it to pay those debts they owe to the bank.
2370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales manipulate the market? on: July 01, 2021, 05:57:48 AM

.....and there it goes that other people will panic upon their trap set.
I can imagine that a lot of plummet in price of Bitcoin was purely whales trap and not just that Elon Musk crap that everybody believes that it caused the price to plummet. Roll Eyes
2371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins questions on: July 01, 2021, 05:56:06 AM

They don't have control to whoever buys their coin, regardless of how good they govern their assets. A certain whale could just be followed by other people so that the price would be liked fully controlled already by them and it would just end up badly for those who are looking for opportunity to invest.
2372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: In desperate need of a Coach/mentor. on: June 30, 2021, 08:14:55 PM
"very quick learner"
Being self-taught is such an advantage for you, OP.

You kind of remind me when I was learning programming back in the days. I thought of buying courses online or get a mentorship, but I realize that there are resources out there that are being given out for free.
2373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never sell your Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2021, 02:29:49 PM
~
Now someone mentioned it.
Though the decision of investing to a coin is the one that is subjective, because surely someone would refer you to buy some of "this coin" before you even know that such coin exist. Through skepticism, you wouldn't be driven by these people to invest directly just because a certain person or even a celebrity in the internet said it.
2374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make good profits through ICOs? on: June 30, 2021, 11:38:08 AM

Surely in CMC, they already had their own site provided there and from there you can see the whitepaper or any stuffs that you still need to know about the projects like Roadmaps, etc.
2375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Quality Can A Newbie's Post Be? on: June 30, 2021, 09:50:21 AM

So, my fellow low ranking members, let's keep researching and making good posts, even if they are not good enough, your archangels will stumble on them and award you some merits. Not only merits, you will be very knowledgeable in cryptocurrency through this forum. Thank you all!
Bookmark those notable threads you see as well.
There are number of members asking something that was already asked and solved before.
Before you ask or suggest a certain thing, use the search function here in the forum or just use Google with the tag of "site:bitcointalk.org".

Technical knowledge about Bitcoin is part of this forum, but that doesn't mean you are obliged to learn it.
Just like what bitmover said, you don't need to be tech-savvy about Bitcoin to use this forum.
2376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make good profits through ICOs? on: June 30, 2021, 09:39:41 AM
I might be living under the rock, but are ICOs still a thing these days?
I never looked into one after they all started to disappear back in 2018.
Many of them turned out to be a scam back then.

For OP, I would just say that if it is a running ICO better do the usual DYOR.
2377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to libra coins on: June 30, 2021, 08:20:47 AM
~
It's been a while since I heard about that project.
Only heard it here mentioned along with Facebook, and I even mentioned back then that I had no intention of buying one due to how I am even concerned about my privacy when using Facebook.
Kind of surprised that it has now other name though.
I thought it was already dead.
2378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are Airdrops and Bounties worth the work? on: June 30, 2021, 08:18:03 AM
~
Some project does both though. Would the airdrops still considered to be still counter productive if there's a bounty to promote the said project?
Either way, I stopped these two anyway back in 2018-2019 cause they're purely just a lot of work to me except for airdrops of course, however one project even emailed me just to try and bait me to their phishing site.
2379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency has best future? on: June 30, 2021, 08:15:34 AM

This is my minimum of choosing what coins to invest in CMC actually. I wouldn't consider buying more below that ranking.
It is like my hard cap, though sometimes coins below top 5 even get changed over time and it is kind of getting someone anxious to hold them for more than 1 year.
2380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ? on: June 30, 2021, 08:13:18 AM
~
It hurts the crypto world. It only benefits those who invested for shorter term gains and those who exit scam on the project.
Those shitcoins are a general word for those coins that are just for the pumping purposes only to be dumped in the end losing its value.
I kind of see it as no longer an issue, as they're many of them already here in crypto space.
