2281  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Add signature campaing on: July 13, 2021, 08:03:13 PM
Profile -> Forum Profile Information -> Put the signature in the Signature field -> Change Profile

From my quick clicks in the Bounties section, Member is the bare minimum requirement of the most signature campaigns there even in Services section.

Looking at OP's post history, it won't be a short wait. S/he's just chasing bounties.
2282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why people get merited without op being merit? on: July 13, 2021, 02:44:26 PM

I guess I never specified what type of mega thread it is. My apologies on that, but what I was pointing is those irrelevant threads that does not need anymore replies nor need continuation of discussion and should be locked by now. Nobody would go through that much pagesjust to merit a single post in the middle of spams.
WO is continuously an active thread and it never gets irrelevant.
2283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies need to be mentored well. on: July 13, 2021, 02:13:41 PM
Before asking something OP, you should learn how to use the Search function.
Read this thread by tbct_mt2 : [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism
No need for mentoring if there are guides already in the forum FOR FREE.

I am curious to why OP is not using his/er real account. I just hope this is not another ban evasion case.

By the way aside from the rules, you should know that there also things frowned upon in here. Rules are different from what is frowned upon by the community. You'll be tagged when you do such things that are frowned upon in here, thus affecting your reputation in here.

Example you would see in one of your links which is [Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ] that
~
18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.
~

Alt accounts are allowed, but it does not mean that you should give merit or even vouch for your own alt. That is one example of what is frowned upon in here that is not a written rule.
With that out of the way, good luck in your journey, OP. Smiley

People follow Musk because there is a hidden desire that those people want to be richer than him that is why they are following each footprints, which are his advices, that he makes. They don't care about the risk involved.
I have this feeling that many of his followers will hate him once he retracts his advice whenever the coin he is shilling just go down.. all the way down but in the end, it is their blindness and not their diligence that led them to that for obvious reasons.

About the emotion, everyone has emotions. They are just doing the most subtle way to express it regardless.
2286  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit hunting! on: July 13, 2021, 08:44:16 AM
~

Eventually, nowadays if you have to share your ideas and thoughts that has some a little bit of explanation that came out to be a lengthy post it can be considered as merit hunting. It is probably the result of which it is not ideal to read lengthy post because of you limited time and instead will pursue on replying because you need to comply the reuired post in your bounty.

~
Uhmm no, OP.
If you were reading around the forum back in 2018 as a Guest, the year that merit system was implemented, since you registered here this year, you'll see a lot of random users just posting in Meta with their lengthy post about their thoughts about Merit. [oh the days..]

The thing is there are people reiterating the same thing over and over again in a thread and they think that just because they did a well-written and long post in that means that it is a merit worthy. It is becoming a merit hunt, merit fishing or whatever you call it. This is why many lower ranks especially newbies are being advised to get a good read first by those users that have plenty of knowledge around the forum.

If there is an existing thread that relates to your thoughts about a certain topic, just do it there, join the conversation as long as the topic is still relevant and in there, share whatever your thoughts are in a particular topic.
Just don't necropost, by the way.
2287  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things to remember when joining bounty campaign. on: July 13, 2021, 05:58:31 AM

I know your good intentions here, OP.
However many newbies are arriving here just to plainly earn money and just straight up join bounties. This forum is leaning more into bounty platform rather than most of the forums you know of where can everybody would just chill and discuss with other users because of the bounty hunting stuffs.

My apologies if that is how I felt about your post.

3 days later...  OP's post history is still full of bounty reports.  She has made her final choice now.
I don't think she's gonna come back and bother to still reply here nor even lock this thread. Cheesy
2289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do newcomers often make plagiarism mistakes? on: July 12, 2021, 08:05:20 PM

I think he meant that people plagiarize because they cannot write posts properly nor can't understand any other language except their native language.

@Delightcrypto1
I recommend you stick posting to your local board first.

Just by searching Bitcointalk in Youtube gives me suggestion about bounties and titles like earning from posting in Bitcointalk.
I was expecting like discussion of popular topic in here or at least defining what Bitcointalk Forum is (that could be a good video content to create though).
Quite sad that there are people being introduced in the wrong way in this forum.

Can't provide screenshot right now because I am using mobile phone right now and uploading it to image hosting site would be a little tedious. Cheesy
2291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why people get merited without op being merit? on: July 12, 2021, 05:28:49 PM

Merit is about post quality, not about post position.
~
There is a one exception for post position that I can think of.
A quality post in the middle of a mega thread wouldn't get a single merit as for obvious reasons that nobody will scroll through each pages just to find a single.
It is like a diamond covered in manure and nobody would want to dig through that just to find it.

@OP
People are not obliged to merit the OP regardless of the quality. As what DdmrDdmr said, 'quality" is a subjective matter. What is quality for you might not be quality for everybody else.

Please stop encouraging newbies to just see this forum as an earning platform, OP.
2293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should i take the risk or not on: July 12, 2021, 10:55:58 AM

It is your money, OP. As what others mentioned in here, just invest those money into your business as nobody can tell if you are gonna lose that money next May even if such news you see around the internet speculates that it would go hundreds of USD but that is just merely speculation.

How about this? Invest only in Bitcoin if that portion of that you're investing does not affect anything that you want to happen. In this case, it would affect your business so I would just advice no. Like what they always say, invest only what you can afford to lose.
2294  Other / Meta / Re: Apology/Appreciation on: July 12, 2021, 10:43:09 AM
~(we shouldn't be handing out negs for shitposting)~
Actually he was tagged as he was replying to his own thread with his alt.

I already had my own suspicion back in May when those two accounts keep replying next to each other often, until I found out that those two accounts share the same Telegram [here].

OP just took it to a whole new level from what you can see from Lovesmayfamilis's reference from the red tag, quoting his own thread with his alt and replying to it.
2295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are rampant in the market on: July 12, 2021, 10:32:11 AM

Dunno why my previous reply was deleted as doing something to your asset during such messy market is gonna be a problem when it didn't pay off.
You can still allocate assets, but I would not recommend any even those assets that are appreciating like land.

And yes, there are many scammers. That is a whole lot of another risk to consider.
2296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How could we help improve the bounty hunters with zero merit? on: July 11, 2021, 10:37:55 AM
~
You don't need to, OP.
The thing is you are still a newbie and you are already talking about the bounty hunting in this forum which is not the primary focus of the forum. You'll be perceived by others as someone who is using an alt, bounty hunting only in this platform, or newbie that is merit-fishing.
2297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ? on: July 10, 2021, 07:21:34 PM

I supposed you just invested in Dogecoin because Elon hyped it up?
I get it that there are platforms that still makes use of Dogecoin, but it was just meant to be really a meme coin as it is. I can't speak on how much value should it really be because it was all just a meme.

I got interested into investing in that coin back then, but then I now realize that I should not.
2298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk's two tweets on Dogecoin drive value of cryptocurrency up by 7% on: July 10, 2021, 07:19:16 PM

Bah. Seems like another guy or like that neighbor next door that would just talk random things about Bitcoin.
It is his followers that are blind and continues to just get "hyped" by his tweets.
Doge was just like a simple meme, and it was never meant to be anything serious.
2299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get satisfaction from payment schedule of this forum? on: July 10, 2021, 07:16:10 PM
Either OP is a troll account or s/he got introduced into this forum in the wrong way.

@OP
How much payment? Based on how you just go on and abandon each threads you're asking, you won't even get a single satoshi here in forum.
This is a forum, not an earning platform.

Jeez. I remember this when I was just scrolling through these alts being reported and it is funny af.
Image was no longer available when I checked it back in the original.

@OP
You should already know what is their goal in this forum and that goal itself does not get along with the word "improve", because their aim here is of course, money. They are not here to improve, to grow, to learn.
Have you read some random bounty hunters' post history full of bounty reports? I did.
From that, do you think that those "WEEK 1-9999 ....... bla bla bla report" are merit-worthy?

~
If you think a certain office isn't funny enough, look at this.
