Hi upon checking your website and the team members, I noticed that one of your team members, namely NIKSMAC, is a computer-generated image. The frame of his glasses contain different frames from different glasses and his nose seems to be disproportionate. Failure to answer regarding my allegation will compel me to create a scam accusation against the project.

Kindly refer to the reference below, thanks.

3385  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: April 26, 2021, 09:49:07 PM
If I remember correctly, in stocks, there is what you call the "8k rule" in which you invest a specific amount that is on the right spot in order to lessen commission fees and unnecessary expenses.

Investing, in general, requires capital. The capital may either be a relatively small or large capital depending on the value that you want to risk. Obviously, the higher the capital, the greater the returns and vice versa. The reason on why most people think that investment is only for the rich, it is because they are the ones who are capable of putting large amounts of capital in a single trade.

3388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: RIP Stocks on: April 26, 2021, 08:14:15 PM
I also started into stocks and what I found interesting is that, in stocks, the market only opens in a specific time of the day. The prices of stocks also are not that volatile as compared to crypto and the investment relatively leans more on to the long-term than short-term. If you want to day trade, having a large amount of capital may be ideal as you will get more returns in the process.

While I do acknowledge your decision of going all-out in crypto, I also advise you to diversify your investments and spread them out into different altcoins. By focusing only into one coin, you are putting yourself at a higher risk of losing your value if the price crashes in the future.

3389  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Wow] Restaurant now accepting All major crypto for payments on: April 26, 2021, 04:37:05 PM
Better kung coins ph din gamit nila if ever kase nga walang fee pag coins to coins.

Now if non-custodial wallet gamit nila then baka mas mahal pa ang btc/eth fee sa pag kain nila or if maliit naman ang fee baka umabot pa ng ilang uras bago pa ma confirm 😅.
Though don't get me wrong magandang decision/idea din ito regardless sa amount na kikitain nila

This is true.

I remember, nag-transfer ako ng fees sa isang gambling website to coins.ph tapos ang transaction fee niya (if I remember it correctly) was around $15. Napakasakit talaga kaya maganda yung idea pero sana masolusyonan din nila ito.
3390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 26, 2021, 04:19:19 PM
If you are a gambler, the best betting sport is one where the pause between competitions is long enough so that you have time to calm down and not try to bet in the heat of emotion. Bookmakers have the opposite interest, so they create virtual competitions that take place around the clock.
So maybe eSports is a good recommendation since there is a break in-between matches, I would say probably besides eSports,I think basketball or football could be a good sports to bet on, pretty straightforward and no fuzz.

Hmm, betting into eSports may be a little tricky especially if you have little to no idea on what team you are betting one.

Personally, I have gambles most of my resources into eSports and a huge reason for that was my addiction towards computer games. I was able to analyze every team and their picks, see their recent matches, and their win-rate against certain teams so I could at least increase my chances of winning. But if you do not have any prior knowledge as to the game that you are betting on, it is like you are punching your fist in the air and hope for a win.

3391  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BlueCoin SCAM!!! on: April 26, 2021, 08:52:39 AM
Hi, as @CryptoYar mentioned, this is not the proper board to post your accusation. Kindly move it to the Scam Accusation board provided above and follow the format prescribed therein, to wit:

Code:
[b][color=black]What happened:: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Additional Notes: [/color][/b]

You may also want to fix the format on how you want to present your accusation. What is essential is that you provide all the necessary evidence against the accused for a speedy disposition of your case. Good luck!
3392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dubai's Government and Gambling on: April 25, 2021, 07:35:29 PM
This is very interesting.

I thought that of all the provinces of UAE, Dubai has the most lenient rules when it comes to recreational activities. I heard that they also operate clubs there and the access to alcohol is not that strict compared to other provinces. Given by these facts, I also thought that gambling activities are not completely prohibited but closely regulated by the Government. This is good information that should be shared and be known to people and gamblers who plan on visiting the country.

3393  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Have Caused Bitcoin to Flash Crash On Sunday? on: April 24, 2021, 11:07:07 AM
According to this NEWS, President Biden's move to increase long-term capital gains tax led most of the traders to sell their stocks which also affected cryptocurrencies in general, to wit:

Quote
President Biden is expected to raise long-term capital gains tax for the wealthiest Americans to 43.4%, including a surtax. That would be higher than the top federal tax rate on wage income. The new tax rate would apply to returns on assets held in taxable accounts and sold after more than a year.

This triggered a sell-off in stock markets overnight, with all three major U.S. indexes ending Thursday’s session in the red. Analysts said fears over Biden’s capital gains tax proposal may be extending to crypto investors, who have had a great year with the price of bitcoin having climbed more than sixfold in the last 12 months.

To be honest, this could be a good opportunity for investors to purchase BTCs for either short or long-term investment. Since prices are down, fees are also low which could also be a good opportunity to acquire more.
3394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 24, 2021, 08:05:40 AM
I stopped gambling maybe 3-4 years ago but I will answer each question to the best of my ability:

Quote
- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
Before, I used to have a daily budget of around $20 and I mostly bet them on e-sports in gambling in-game skins. My brother, on the other hand, did not have any limit as to his budget whenever he visited casinos.

Quote
- Not ever get in debt for gambling?
Fortunately enough, I never got any debt in my gambling spree. However, there were times that I needed some cash in order to be one more game as I wanted to recover my losses quickly.

Quote
- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
I tried as much as possible to limit my time whenever I gamble but most of the time I exceed my allocated time due to the nature of gambling. There were also some times that I exceeded my daily limit and this happened when I experienced a losing spree.

Quote
- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?
- Have someone helping you control your gambling?
I usually gamble alone but my brother insisted on me keeping an eye on him whenever he goes beyond his limit. Fortunately also, I did not think that I experienced addiction as I knew my responsibilities as a student. Even though there were days that I spent beyond my limit, I never truly struggled and become addicted to gambling.

3396  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Widecoin - Fake Team (stock photos) on: April 23, 2021, 11:17:26 AM
Anyway nice catch OP, are there any service that can be used to identify if a picture is a stock photo?

This is the main engine that I use in order to see if the pictures posted are either real or stock: https://www.reverse-image-search.org/

Just take a screenshot of the photos used and three (3) search engines on that website will look for all similar images that you searched. Generally, you would see if the photos used were stock photos using that website. You can also put pictures from linkedin accounts so you could check if the identities matched to the linkedin profiles as there are some projects who post real photos with fake names/identities.
3397  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Widecoin - Fake Team (stock photos) on: April 23, 2021, 04:27:44 AM
I will open a flag against widecoin and I hope others will support it!

Why don't we wait for them (widecoin team) to fix their mistake (in this case is website), instead accusing them of being bad.
I support widecoin to fix this trouble.

Before I posted this scam accusation against the project, I posted on their ANN page about the anomalies spotted on their website. Instead of actually fixing the problem, widecoin moved the topic to their local boards twice and even threatened about reporting me to the moderators.

Generally, I give people the opportunity to defend themselves before I post any accusation but the attitude of widecoin showed their intention to deceit and to conceal their shady acts, which ultimately compelled me to create this accusation.
3398  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any minimum amount of budget which should be paid in btc campaigns ? on: April 22, 2021, 06:20:02 PM
Don't know if it been discussed before or not but are there any limits that if anyone wants to publish any bitcoin signature campaign or social media campaign, then you need to pay minimum amount of money to the participants.
For example, if anyone start a bitcoin campaign by offering only $10 or $ 5 per week or even less, is it allowed ?

If there is no minimum budget, the campaigns can offer very little incentive in bitcoin and publish their campaign in bitcoin services section to get more exposure.

It is allowed as it depends upon the person if they wish to join or not.

Currently, the competition for campaign signatures have been increasing due to a number of campaigns closing in less than 3-4 weeks, though it depends on the budget given to the campaign manager. I remember that there were campaigns who offered low weekly payments but lots of people applied since only a few campaigns were operating at that moment.

I also think that a low payrate is still allowed and will not be a problem if the payment received by participant each period are still in accordance with the condition of transaction fee. It is certain that if the payment is only enough to pay the transaction fee, then the participant may be angry.  Cheesy

Imagine, earning 5-10$ per week but the transaction fees are higher than what you receive weekly. Well, that is to be expected given the current value of bitcoin in the market.
3399  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Widecoin - Fake Team (stock photos) on: April 22, 2021, 05:12:16 PM
In addition to your findings, I checked some of their content for plagiarism and got the following results:
- Credit to whoever "archived their website" two days ago.

  • Homepage [without team section] + FAQ page returned with roughly 54% [76% - 22%]: Screenshot
    - The former literally used different sources for each sentence.
  • Team section returned with roughly 13% [80% - 67%]: Screenshot
    - It didn't take them that long to get rid of that section completely [thanks to you] Cheesy

Thank you for the additional findings!

They really got me into my nerves especially when widecoin PMed me threatening to report my posts to the moderators. Their habit of creating new ANNs and moving them to their local boards after you bring up the accusation makes such action sketchy and questionable. Along with your findings, this strengthen the case against their project being fake/scam.

I will open a flag against widecoin and I hope others will support it!
3400  Other / Archival / Re: The difference between the Martingale system and One-Time-Bet on: April 22, 2021, 07:56:40 AM
In fact, many now use the Martingale system instead of doing one stroke of luck, and the strange thing is that it is also liable to lose the same "chance" if it plays one betting with all the amount, and the question here is, why do gamblers prefer this system to a single roll?

The answer would most probably the preference of a gambler as such question is relatively subjective.

The martingale strategy involves betting an amount which doubles as long as you keep losing such bet. The advantage of this system is that, players with a larger capital are able to recover their losses via multiple bets. On the other hand, one-time-bets, from the name itself, involves only ONE significantly large bet which is a "do or die" system. Either you go home lucky or go home crying.
