2481  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: January 22, 2022, 06:31:13 PM
what matter? I have 2 accounts but were my story is not true? I just do not want to use this account to post that threat since there are many users always look up on my post history then said I am trying to just destroy the casino and all my posts were only with BitVest. But it is the truth, I only having problem with this casino

Nothing wrong with having 2 accounts, what I do not understand is why you keep playing in Bitvest while you have said that they are worst casino. You are aware that there are some problems on the site, first is about the hot wallet issue and the other one is about the inactivity of the owner lightlord. This is something unusual for me and maybe for most other people. Logically, people will stay away from a casino where they are aware that there are some issues in the casino.

Like what I previously mentioned to fake websites and scams, it is definitely better to avoid than to cure an existing illness- "prevention is better than cure." Once you are on the shorter end of the stick, consider your resources gone as recovering your money from an alleged scam gambling website may be relatively difficult especially if they do not have any representatives that are active here in the forum.

I do agree, however, that you should have gone to a different gambling website. There are tons of reputable and well-known websites that have gained massive popularity and reputation over the years.

Kapag naka set ng custom, naka limit lang sa P25,000 daily AND monthly yung cash in and cash out limits.

I just really hope na ma-accept na yung documents ko that I passed for the enhance KYC since the customer service told me na they submitted it na daw, though 8-15 days until ma-very and ma-accept. If ever they still deny it, baka I might resort to selling my BTCs via GCASH (though I need to look for a verified buyer).

2483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man lost everything to Crypto on: January 22, 2022, 05:17:18 PM
Real-time incident of an user who trained himself to be a trader. Got addicted and lost everything. Steven is the person who kept adding more cryptocurrency to his portfolio. In an interview he mentioned drug, cryptocurrency and alcohol has destroyed his life. In the beginning Steven knew what he's doing. Later he ended up losing around 5-10 bitcoins. He don't know any information about the addresses and now struggling to recover it.

He says trading is gambling. He has learnt by his own and has always been a good trader. Now he spends day in one of the rehabilitation centre in Scotland.

Data : Man Lost Everything to Crypto

This is just very devastating to hear since most news that we hear revolve around people who profit greatly from investing into BTCs. That is, however, the risks associated when you trade your cryptocurrencies without practicing self-control or having at least a contingency plan on the amount that you willing to risk. Sine he lost around 5-10 BTCs, he should have at least stopped or decided to accept the loss instead of just losing everything in the process.

Though traders are well-equipped with knowledge and experience on their craft, this type of example solidifies the risks associated with drinking. Not to mention, his addiction to alcohol probably affected his decision making skills that ultimately lead to his demise.

I had a scam investment trading, the platform is taking
www.bitz-global.com
how to report this website is a scam?Huh
i reported as many as i can, but i can see the website is still working.
It cant opened only half day 2 days ago and now back to normal again and looks like they got one more new website.

I tried accessing the site but it seems its down now. Normally, websites that offer ponzi-schemes have various new domains that are scattered around the internet. They constantly change their domains in order to avoid being tracker down when you report them. Unfortunately, the only way to avoid these types of scams is to purely avoid them as much as possible. If you have any evidence or receipts of such scam, you may also post them under the Scam Accusation Board to alert all of the existing users about it so they could also avoid from visiting such site.

2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 22, 2022, 09:53:18 AM
I like how Steph is looking for something he is good at within the game when he knows he is off with his three point shots. Where is it? Assists.
He provide dimes for his team and got 12 of it. Then he tries to look for his rhythm by forcing to score in the paint until he shoots the game-winning buzzer beater. 6 out of 21 field goals and 4 of 13 on outside shots and yet the team still trusted him to take the last shot that would avoid an overtime.
I am glad they came back from almost the worst loss of their season.
In their last game as well against the Pacers, Steph is really passing very well and getting his team to score and help in scoring, unfortunately, they've lost that gae.

But this time, he won't allow a struggling team like the Rockets to beat them on their floor. And what a step back, it really creates separation and he knows that he is going to make the shot the moment he releases it.

I am just hoping that he will be released from his shooting slump after he won the most 3-pt shots made in the whole league. Though Warriors have been performing somehow worse in the mid-season, I do hope that this win would be the start that will ignite their winning streaks again. That last shot from Curry and his stepback was just too deadly- defender was so far when Curry hit that midrange game winning shot.

Also, I do agree with your statement. Curry has been all around on the field making those dimes and dishes. Since he is a constant threat, it is naturally that defenders would attract his attention leading to open shots to his teammates.
2486  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto faucets (good and bad) on: January 21, 2022, 05:45:01 PM
I somehow understand what you are going through, OP. You are at least leaning on the fact that faucets may yield you BTCs (or $$$) just by clicking. Though it is relatively slow compared to most methods available, at least you get to earn some. But like what most have mentioned, it is definitely waste of time and energy as the time you click, spend energy and earn outweigh all the costs that comes with it.

While you may have the patience and determination to earn, I highly suggest that you channel it into a different method which is more convenient, rewarding, and easier on your end. Being hardworking does not necessarily equate to being successful- try exploring other methods this time OP since you know better! Good luck!
2487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 21, 2022, 04:13:22 PM
Indiana Pacers have been on a really great run in the recent times. They played two really tough away games consecutively and managed to win both of them. First, they defeated Lakers and last night they managed to defeat Warriors by 121-117. Curry played really superbly this time and did everything he could to carry his team to a victory. He got 39 points but still couldn't help for a win. Because the rest of the players were too ineffective. Thompson is still recovering now.

The Warriors losing against the Pacers was really a shocking one to see and the fans certainly didn't really saw it coming because the Pacers are still lacking some of their players. In fact, the Warriors should have the advantage on this game but the result was opposite. Stephen Curry did his best to carry the team that's why he played for 44 minutes and made 39 points. The bench players too weren't that effective today.

Too bad that Klay went from 0-7 in 3s in the game between the Warriors and the Pacers. In the last possession before the OT, the play was so perfect as it deviated most of the players from their attention towards Klay. Unfortunately, Igoudala was not able to pass it to Klay for an open three and JTA unfortunately missed a game-winning layup that could seal the deal somehow.

Agree with your statement that Pacers are definitely picking up the "pace." They were also able to beat the Lakers which showed their starting strength. I just hope that Warriors would be able to get their rhythm back as they are definitely in a slump right now.

I do hope ma-approve kasi sobrang dami nila nirerequire talaga.

Best way yan lol.

Fortunately, nakausap ko na customer service nila and I provided various documents. Yun nga since unemployed ako, they required me to send bank statements ng benefactors ko (form 2316, COE, etc.). Since naka close din yung bank account ko, they asked for my recent transactions kaya I furnished them a copy of my GCASH transactions within the last sixty (60) days sa application. After passing, sabi nila 8+ days daw bago ma-approve kaya hopefully matapos na to.

Kapag naka set ng custom, naka limit lang sa P25,000 daily AND monthly yung cash in and cash out limits. Tapos kapag annual, P400,000 naman yung limit.
2489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling elementary tools on: January 20, 2022, 03:38:24 PM
Havant has been around this gambling scene for a while I have constantly been confronted with this simple question from newbies in gambling, and this question is simply put to me, what are the fundamental skills that a newbie without experience should start with. The first step and a guide to a newbie.

If you are new to this kind of environment, it is both fundamental and essential that you manage your resources wisely. While you may be able to argue that you have at least resources to gamble, avoid gambling all of them in a single time. Another thing that you have to learn is self-control and discipline. While you may also experience winning streaks, remember that gambling is all about luck and odds. A winning streak does not guarantee you absolute winnings each day.

One thing to consider also is your perspective towards gambling. Why do want to gamble in the first place? Are you here looking for fun and experience the adrenaline; or are you here due to financial reasons? If your purpose is the latter, then I highly suggest for you to avoid it. If the former, then I also suggest that you gamble only a relatively small amount of your resources.

I guess it is your lucky day OP since yahoo just announced that there will be an upcoming poker tournament in Betnomi. If you are confident enough to showcase your skill, bluff, and luck, then I guess this is the perfect opportunity for you to participate! Not only do you get to play poker (which is your main concern) but you will also have the chance to participate in a tournament and win extra cash/bonuses supposed that you win until the grand final.

Here is the link to the thread that Yahoo just created: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5382245.0

For the longest time, walang KYC documents yung ni-require ni coins.ph pero biglang hiningan nila ako.

I do hope ma-approve kasi sobrang dami nila nirerequire talaga.

^^ I might tail you on this one, when the Lakers is against a team that is on top or at least has a better winning record, they usually lose the game.

So I agree with this bet, no need to overcomplicate things, maybe our instinct or at least some data that can really help us to beat against the Lakers vs the Jazz.

This is their first meeting this season if I'm not mistaken, so it's hard to predict on who will win, but as like what you are saying, I also see that the Lakers have some trouble with their chemistry, so a full force Utah Jazz is too strong for them, might be another blowout win by the Jazz.

The Jazz is a well-rounded team consisting of both veterans and young players who have a natural feel to the game. They have developed their chemistry better compared to the line-up of Lakers. While the latter team may consist of veteran all-star players, their chemistry seems to fell short as they struggle to connect their plays and naturally create openings for other players to capitalize on.

Unfortunately, Westbrook has been taking too many shots that can also be considered questionable. Most people have bashed and criticized his play but I do think that he will be able to find his sweet spot once he develops the chemistry more with his team.

I am amazed to see many experienced gamblers here, some users started since 10-15 years ago so I feel like a newbie in this gambling industry. Hope you guys with that long experiences are also playing in duelbits, you are all invited to join the regular competitions by duelbits both on-site competitions and forum competitions.

To be honest, I am baffled on how people are able to gamble away their money like it is as simple as buying candy from a store. I tried gambling before when I was relatively younger but most of my gambling experiences where negative ones- lost a total of around $500, which is considered big in a third-world country.

Though I see some people and gamblers being able to gamble for so many years now, I think they have developed this natural feel and skill on the games they play. Some visit physical casinos while others rely on sports-betting, which is I think the less-risky ones as you base your decision based on concrete data and statistics.

2495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the Ponzi Narrative on: January 17, 2022, 06:05:38 PM
What is the best argument against the Ponzi scheme narrative?
In what ways are Ponzi schemes different from bitcoin?
How do they generate value differently?

First and foremost, ponzi schemes already existed long before cryptocurrencies were created. The idea is simple- people would offer ridiculous amounts of interest rates in exchange for a minimum investment in a project, to be cashed out in a minimum of days or months depending on the deal/package you offer.

Bitcoin is definitely not a ponzi-scheme. It can be so difficult to imagine it being associated with it since it is entirely a system where people would invest in a certain project for a 'guaranteed' investment. Like what the name suggests, it is a 'scheme' where the risk of losing your money is so great that most people (myself included) got scammed by it.

As someone who consistently reports ponzi-schemes being advertised in the forum, I tell you that most have poorly-designed websites that were created in order to attract newbies into thinking that they can generate this amount of money in a short amount of time.
2496  Other / Meta / Re: How does signature campaigns generates revenues through bitcointalk on: January 17, 2022, 05:40:54 PM
Besides, running an ad (especially signature campaign) has no assurance of revenue, account registration, its more like get traffic, visibility, backlinks, and more like to boost the website ranking on google.
I beg to differ. I'm not sure that's all there is to it. It's way more than just clicks and website ranking on Google. It's about the real business of getting true patronage. I've bought into a few ICO projects in the past from bounties that were run here. In fact, I didn't even know of the bounties until I saw signature logos that caught my eye and I had to click to get the website. I read up the white paper and roadmap. Once I liked what the information was about, I just bought in. So, I think a better part of bounty adverts/bounty campaigns here is sales. It's like the regular adverts on radio/TV/newspaper, sometimes it pays off. Other times, it doesn't make enough sales to recover and justify the cash spent on running it. And that's why a few signature campaigns (not bounties) shut down abruptly once the expectations aren't met. I said "not bounties" because most of them don't pay with meaning tokens. They pay with their shit tokens which aren't even worth anything until they're listed on the market. So, they can afford to run it without factoring in a success angle to it.

Crypto Projects gets customers through bitcointalk signature campaigns who actually invest in the projects. Same is true for the gambling signature campaigns which get gamblers to their sites who actually play gamble.

Just like facebook ads is way to advertise on facebook, signature campaigns are the way to advertise here on bitcointalk. Both are effective methods to bring revenue to your business.

Exposure is key in order to attract more players into knowing your business. The fact that signatures also last in the forum no matter how long the reply stays on the thread, the fact that the person wearing the signature + avatar makes the business more exposed to members as well. Remember that this forum is the biggest cryptocurrency forum to date- lots of traffic generating also from non-members of the forum.

The fact that most gambling websites offer signature campaign services in the forum tell you that they probably generate revenue quite significantly.
2497  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: January 17, 2022, 04:23:30 PM
From what I heard sa friends ko last December 2021, magkakaroon daw ng panibagong burning mechanism si Axie kaya inexpect nila na mag jujump sana yung price nito by around 4-6 pesos by the start of 2022. Though ngayon ang price ng SLP ay continuously bumababa, do you guys think na magandang time para pumasok ngayon? I heard na makakabuy daw ng decent team around $300-$400 pero yun nga lang problema, ROI niya would take you 4-5 months but this is assuming na ang price niya ay stable na ~P1.00.

Kayo guys, tuloy pa rin ba kayo mag Axie kasi may mga kaibigan ako na nag start na mag liquidate and ibenta yung mga team nila due to this kind of price.
Yes magkakaroon ng burning mechanism si SLP aside from breeding kase ito ren ang gagamitin sa bagong update and sa land, kaya sabe ren ng iba mukang kukulangin ang supply ng SLP because of this and kung makikita naten, unte unte na ulit tumataas ang value ng SLP kaya malake ren ang kutob ko na babalik talaga sa dating sigla si SLP.  Tuloy lang ako sa paglaro, wala naman na mawawala sa akin and naniniwala paren ako for a better prices soon.

Yes bali balita na yung evolution na idadagdag na feature ng axie at slp daw ang gagamitin dito which is good. At nabasa ko din na kukulangin ang current supply dito which is sana mangyari nga kaya for now lets wait for further update kasi mahirap magsalita na mag pump talaga on hindi dahil lahat nakasalalay sa susunod na update ng dev. Sa ngayon naging 1 php per 1 slp na ngayon pero di natin alam if tataas pato or maging stable sa ganito ang presyohan nya.

Oh, so magkakaroon din sila ng panibagong burning mechanism? To be honest, I am really on the fence on whether I should invest or not, though kinukuha ako ng kaibigan ko as a scholar para less gastos din. Pero hearing this from you guys makes me believe nga na baka in the near future, mag jump or mag skyrocket yung price ulit ng SLP tapos baka isipin ko na wasted opportunity na hindi ako nag invest habang mababa pa price niya.

Anyway regardless din naman, basta long-term investment inevitably mababawi din siya in the future. Salamat sa mga opinion niyo guys!
2498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: January 17, 2022, 02:42:00 PM
Since the market is doing well, there is no reason to stop. So you should select the coins ‍ and collect it gradually as much as you can. Moreover, the price of Altcoins are very low at present, So I think ‍at this moment if good coins selection is done then you will definitely get success.

The success of trading can be determined by a variety of factors but one of the most important aspect that some fail to recognize is accepting the opportunity once it is presented. Currently, like you just mentioned, the prices of altcoins are down in the market which can be a good sign for most traders. Generally speaking, it is better to trade while the prices are low since this will be the time where most would be able to forecast/speculate the increase of its price in a few days, weeks, or months from now.

While prices of alts may be down, it is also imperative to create your own forecast. Avoid being too greedy and capitalize on all profits that are available.
2499  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No free money or crytocurrency on: January 17, 2022, 01:18:23 PM
The best scam protection for cryptocurrency lovers or anyone is to always have a mindset that their is no free money or cryptocurrency that can be earned anywhere. To earn free money and cryptocurrency  has always  been a tradition to scam, especially online.  This  method  of scam strategy  gets increasing everyday.

As someone who used to report scams frequently in the scam accusation board, I remember seeing a lot of posts about people getting scammed due to airdrops that are given free or faucets that contain malicious links that are injected in their wallets. Unfortunately, the only way that can remedy their situation is by reporting those scams since they cannot, in any way, recover their lost BTCs.

That is why, it is very important that you mentioned OP that there can never be any website that provides free BTCs in any way. Either they are trying to promote a scam that contains viruses or they tend to advertise their program for free.

Guys, I would share my big winnings with you if I had them Grin But still, the biggest one was about AU$1,000 (during two weeks or around), but I lost way more money in online casinos. This is normal for me. I know that I will lose and have no illusion about great winnings at all.
Ohh! Man congratulations to you and yes that's a big amount to win, you are right there and it's normal that a gambler will lose cause in the world of gambling you can not say you are always winning your bet. We can not predict the outcome so it's 50/50 that we will win or lose.
if you enter the world of gambling you must think that not all the time you will win but you must think that you will lose anytime.

Though I have no actual receipt or pictures to show, I want to share with you a story when my brother used to gamble at physical casinos.

I remember, he would gamble away his monthly savings in hopes of doubling his money. Most of the time, he'll just call and treat me with some stuff/food since he was able to at least gain 50-60% profit from his gambling. But I remember the night where he lost $600 in two (2) bets.

Anyway, congratulations for winning OP! What makes gambling fun is the adrenaline and boost that you feel after that nerve-wrecking experience of waiting. That experience alone is worth the money, at least!
