2501  Economy / Gambling / Re: Show Your Victory on: January 17, 2022, 11:52:47 AM
Guys, I would share my big winnings with you if I had them Grin But still, the biggest one was about AU$1,000 (during two weeks or around), but I lost way more money in online casinos. This is normal for me. I know that I will lose and have no illusion about great winnings at all.
Ohh! Man congratulations to you and yes that's a big amount to win, you are right there and it's normal that a gambler will lose cause in the world of gambling you can not say you are always winning your bet. We can not predict the outcome so it's 50/50 that we will win or lose.
if you enter the world of gambling you must think that not all the time you will win but you must think that you will lose anytime.

Though I have no actual receipt or pictures to show, I want to share with you a story when my brother used to gamble at physical casinos.

I remember, he would gamble away his monthly savings in hopes of doubling his money. Most of the time, he'll just call and treat me with some stuff/food since he was able to at least gain 50-60% profit from his gambling. But I remember the night where he lost $600 in two (2) bets.

Anyway, congratulations for winning OP! What makes gambling fun is the adrenaline and boost that you feel after that nerve-wrecking experience of waiting. That experience alone is worth the money, at least!
2502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting or casino? on: January 17, 2022, 07:48:31 AM
In this thread I share my opinion. I know 2 types of gambling. Sports and casino. I have both types experience. At first I started to play casino like roulette, dice, ludu. Roulette was my favourite casino table. One day I won 7k usd on roulette table. But I couldn't retain it. I lost all the usd in 10 minutes and day by day my lossing amount increased. Sometimes casino table was so tough. Whatever I bet all lost. No sequence maintained. If I won a day, I would loss 5 days at a stretch. It seemed all was fixed. I shifted to sports betting. I started to follow biggest football league like English premier League, la Liga, french Liga etc. Researched the teams statistics and placed bet. Gradually I covering my losses. What's your experience?

Depends upon the convenience that it provides.

Generally, people who bet in sports are also the ones who are fans of such respective sports. For example, an avid NBA player would most likely bet on his favorite team against an opponent since they are relatively knowledgeable about it. If they can research about the standings between teams, it may give the person a broad idea on which team to bet.

On the other hand, betting on a casino involves various methods (such as the ones you have mentioned). If you feel more comfortable betting in casinos and doing card games, then this is most likely the type of betting you should be doing. It all boils down to your personal preference and knowledge on the topic.
2503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bought my vitamins with Bitcoin on: January 17, 2022, 06:59:59 AM
My good friend is happy, and he doesn’t mind me to use Bitcoin again to transact with him. I don’t mind how long will BTC be massively adopted, at least it’s good to spread awareness and advocacy about it.

I think this is one of those instances where BTC can be utilized not only as an investment but as an alternative currency where you can purchase anything that you want depending on your wants/needs.

Generally speaking, most people are hesitant utilizing their BTCs. Unfortunately, they tend to HODL it as much but when it comes to meeting their obligations, they also tend to avoid using it. View BTC like stocks, where you can easily liquidate them for cash if you need to purchase something with it depending on one's needs.
2504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: January 16, 2022, 06:44:35 PM
I do not know if this is the appropriate board to discuss but earlier was the Day 2 of Tata Steel Chess where several games were interesting.

Before the games, the match between Karjakin and Dubov was really interesting as there was an ongoing feud between them during the WCC 2021 when Magnus revealed that Dubov took part on his team preparation. Though the game ended on a draw, I definitely see the friction between the two (2) players.

The game between Magnus and Anish was also an intriguing one where Magnus was able to capitalize on Anish's inaccuracy. He won the game and basically forced an ending where the former would be able to win an endgame since Anish was down two pawns at the end.
2505  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: January 16, 2022, 05:56:18 PM

Masyadong nagexpect ang maraming Pinoy, akala nila hinde babagsak ang presyo which is normal naman talaga na nangyayare sa cryptocurrency, let’s give time to Axie to recover pero if they failed to pump this year, panigurado this will be the start of the end, marame ulit ang aalis kaya sana magkaroon na ng update sa burning system ng SLP bago pa mahuli ang lahat.

From what I heard sa friends ko last December 2021, magkakaroon daw ng panibagong burning mechanism si Axie kaya inexpect nila na mag jujump sana yung price nito by around 4-6 pesos by the start of 2022. Though ngayon ang price ng SLP ay continuously bumababa, do you guys think na magandang time para pumasok ngayon? I heard na makakabuy daw ng decent team around $300-$400 pero yun nga lang problema, ROI niya would take you 4-5 months but this is assuming na ang price niya ay stable na ~P1.00.

Kayo guys, tuloy pa rin ba kayo mag Axie kasi may mga kaibigan ako na nag start na mag liquidate and ibenta yung mga team nila due to this kind of price.
2506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep calm and buy the dip! Told yah. on: January 16, 2022, 05:45:54 PM
Well as a professional trader keeping you're self calm is the most important, there is always dip and we never know it until such time that we already loss some of our asset. For the professional they keep buying the dip but for newbie they keep selling their holdings because they are afraid that they loss more assets.

Keeping yourself calm is the first step that will determine the success of your trading process. But the most important thing that beginner traders must do is to study the market and have the actual experience of trading their cryptocurrencies.

Like driving, no matter how many times you read books on how to successfully drive a manual transmission car, you will never get used to it without experiencing it first hand. Similarly in trading, getting to research about the market, applying what you have read and trading into different cryptocurrencies is the key in order to at least reduce the chances of losing from your investment.
2507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any website without a dispute here? on: January 16, 2022, 05:01:03 PM
I guess I have seen disputes/complain against all the crypto casinos out there. Every day, in the scam accusation section, we have to new accusation thread against casinos. It even includes all the reputed casinos, new casinos. I mean none has an exception. I can't remember if there is a casino that never receive any accusation here in the scam accusation board; maybe betbtc.co is an exception which is closed now. Did you find these ridiculous? Did not a casino run properly? I believe there are issues from the side of the gamblers as well but you can't deny that casinos take advantage a lot of times.

I think every website that involves betting or service will always contain unresolved conflicts that contain isolated cases. That is the problem when you run this kind of business especially in an online setting- there would be issues that involve payments, regulations, or restrictions that could either make or break your gambling website.

As far as I know, every gambling website had their fair share of troubles in the past since these things happen frequently. When you deal with business that involve money, expect that someone would either exploit the system or tell the truth- the fine line that could depend on how you approach such issue.
2508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Changing my Thoughts And Behaviors. on: January 16, 2022, 02:07:44 PM
After learning about Bitcoin I've learned about finance and investing in general(and other supplementary topics). And while I really am enthusiastic about Bitcoin, I sure like talking about other subjects that interest me as well. Bitcoin is great and all that but you shouldn't revolve your entire life around it.

Very well-put, indeed.

Bitcoin is something that was introduced in order to remove any third-parties from handling our payments/transactions. With only around 21 million planned as its supply, its inflationary value caught the attention of most people and made it as an investment for long-term. Like what most people have mentioned, they see it as the "digital-gold" where its value will continue rising.

Again, if you put your whole life into a single aspect of investing, you will definitely going to tire out eventually. Explore your options and treat it as an alternative way of earning- like what mk4 mentioned in his own words, you shouldn't revolve your entire life around it.
2509  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com suddenly banned my Account on: January 15, 2022, 06:40:10 PM
Stake can trace the activity into your account and IP address within their platform. And I think, they're not going to impose anything that you haven't done.
But if they've seen you broke their rules, they're going to surely impose a ban to you if the offense is too big that would lead in banning. I also feel bad for the remaining amount that you can't withdraw but try to ask them nicely maybe there's some mercy they can show to you.

The advantage of having someone from stake that is active on the forum can be really helpful in deciding your case. But to be honest, a relatively large and well-known gambling site would not ban anyone from their website without any reason at all. Like what most have mentioned, will it be possible if you could provide a transcript of your conversation between you and their customer service? In this way, some might be able to help in resolving your issue for a speedy disposition of conflict.

Though I really doubt that you were banned for no reason, I am on the hunch that you most probably violated one of their terms and conditions that lead ultimately to your demise.
2510  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin makes a loser a winner on: January 15, 2022, 06:26:21 PM
Lol. This is yet another example. We have seen it many times in the forum, when time has passed and we see the extraordinary revaluation of Bitcoin, we see these things and we laugh, but at the beginning when Bitcoin was worth pennies, and nobody knew about it, and if you heard anything it was related to fraud, or drugs or terrorists, well it was difficult to see how it was going to revalue.

In any case it is good to remember these things at this time because there are a lot of people pessimistic about the price.

This is one of those pictures that is an indication about the primal history of BTC and its price on the market. Since everyone is somehow informed on how its price skyrocketed, most of the investors follow such example by HODLing most of their investments and waiting for the next fork to happen in order to maximize profits.

It is just so funny to witness that almost 98% of the whole population did not know that BTC even existed during that time, and the remaining 2% of the people who did know about its existence, mostly sold/liquidated their coins. I wonder on how many people during that era were able to HODl at least most of their coins until now.
2511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do u think about gambling? on: January 15, 2022, 05:56:14 PM
I want to know the opinion of everyone here on this forum.I know we have different insight about gambling, and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts.

So the question is(What do you think about gambling? Is it a fun ? Or a threat.

In my own opinion, gambling is fun. It is sort of like watching tv or playing online games but the possibility of winning money. It could be a threat if you dont know how to set your limits of how much money and time you can spend. Even if you have a large budget, it is a not a bad idea to set limits for yourself.

Always keep in mind,

NEVER INVEST MONEY THAT YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE.

Gambling is something that is worth the adrenaline, but dangerous to the faint heart especially if you are the type of person who bets large amounts of money in a single run. Generally, most people view gambling as some sort of entertainment, while there may be a relatively small number of people who see it as an avenue of earning money. While it may be considered as such, the risk involved far outweighs the good result since most people incurred more losses than their wins.

If you were to try gambling, see to it that you will not be attached. While you may also experience winning large amounts of cash, always remember that there is that possibility of losing your entire fortune in a single night without the element of discipline on your end.
2512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips To Upgrade Your Post Quality For Future Reference on: January 15, 2022, 04:33:18 PM
I think when it comes to post quality, most newbies are under the impression that quantity outweighs quality. But in reality, most of the high-merited replies that I have witnessed consists of only a few lines on their sentences. What matters is that you are contributing something useful or you are replying with a sense of logic that everyone could follow and take as an example.

While giving away merits to a post can be subjective, a quality post will most likely be objective in terms of its contents.
2513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who creates more impact in bitcoin price the Hodlers or Investors? on: January 15, 2022, 12:03:02 PM
The two main factors of bitcoin market hodlers and the investors sometimes I query myself about how much impact they have made in the price of bitcoin.

Note: The hodlers are early abductors of bitcoin that held their funds till date
The investors are the early abductors that sold and invested into their business then later invested their profits into bitcoin. E.g Michael Saylor or Elon Musk.

I doubt that there is a difference between HODLERS and INVESTORS.

In the former, you may also call them as investors since they prefer to HODL their BTCs until a desirable price has been reached (which is purely dependent upon them). On the other hand, investors are the ones who purchase BTCs either for short or long-term gain. Generally speaking, there is little-to-no difference between the two. The small gap that they may differ is that investors may prefer to trade their BTCs depending on the price.
2514  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where can I sell my crypto gambling account? on: January 14, 2022, 05:51:04 PM
Where can I sell crypto gambling accounts?
I have two accounts, one is BC.GAME VIP level 30 account and the other is Betfury.io level 6 account

I would be very careful about selling any crypto gambling accounts because some of the online casinos do not look kindly on such things. If I were you, I would read the account conditions from the online casino website before attempting to do anything that may or may not get your account banned, as well as your funds frozen. It happens more than people think and I myself would not risk it.

That is one of the risk that the buyer must bore if they were to engage into this kind of transaction. Generally, selling VIP gambling accounts is considered prohibited (depending on the contract/terms of the gambling website) and future problems may occur due to this kind of setup. Given the fact the account that you are selling is VIP, it is most probably tied down with KYC documents. That is why, the buyer is put in a situation where he may experience dozens of problems in the event that he definitely buys your account.
2515  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 14, 2022, 04:46:58 PM

For the longest time, walang KYC documents yung ni-require ni coins.ph pero biglang hiningan nila ako.

2516  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will be for Bitcoin on: January 14, 2022, 03:40:32 PM
I somehow agree with your statement but I also disagree with some points.

Being born rich can definitely put you to a great advantage in terms of access and convenience. You have the funds in order to supplement yourself with the information needed to run this world. In contrast, people who are born poor must have to double or triple their effort in order to make ends meet. But this does not mean that people who are born poor cannot acquire the opportunities of those born rich.

At the end of the day, while there may be some poor people who are not knowledgeable about BTC, the fact that this has been existing for years now can be an inevitable circumstance that they will soon encounter.
2517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting vs Fiat betting on: January 13, 2022, 05:44:20 PM
What is the best method to bet most especially if one is betting on football matches what is the best currency to bet with, using cryptocurrency to bet of using traditional paper money. Which one is more secured and fast for inline usage.

It depends on the funds that you currently have.

Most people would bet using their cryptocurrencies (given that we are here in a bitcoin forum) due to the convenience and availability that it provides but I personally prefer to bet using fiat. The problem with betting cryptocurrencies is like you are betting gold- its value may increase in the near future. Suppose you bet $20 worth of BTC today (2021), its value may significantly increase let us say maybe 5-10 years from now due to its inflationary nature.

That is why, whenever people ask me which currency they should bet on, they should always go with FIAT.
2518  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best ways to choose a casino on: January 13, 2022, 05:25:06 PM
Hello am new here and am interested in gambling but with the rate of scams casino I am finding it difficult to know the right site that don't scam players?

Best way to find out what casinos are the best is by basing it purely on customer reviews/feedback.

This forum is the best outlet if you are curious to see the performance of a gambling website. By utilizing the search bar, you can observe if they have an account in the forum with an active customer support user that you may message in case you have a conflict.

Another indication is the active number of years they are in business. Generally, most online gambling websites have a good reputation if they are in service for more than years- it means that there is an existing number of active users that participate in their website.
2519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: January 10, 2022, 06:27:24 PM
This topic have taken the center stage of my thought we have seen how countries around the world are gradually opening the economy to adopt bitcoin and as a result a lot of government policies are already underway to develop a framework that allow regulation of the bitcoin ecosystem which have made me to wonder on this topic. Can a decentralized currency like bitcoin ever get regulated?

Nope and this will definitely destroy the purpose on why cryptocurrencies are created in the first place.

The reason on why Satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin is because he wanted to have a currency which is decentralized (no regulation from any third parties) in which anyone can transact along the blockchain. Since this removes completely any third parties from accessing or recognizing your transactions, miners are the ones who are responsible for validating your transactions as you use your BTCs.

Again if BTC were to be regulated, this will be no less than fiat- meaning governments or third parties would be able to regulate its transactions, which ultimately contradicts on why BTCs were created in the first place.
2520  Economy / Gambling / Re: VR online casinos? on: January 10, 2022, 05:35:28 PM
Well, even in online games VR is very common and I saw Roblox games also had that VR.
I don't know how different in online games and the online casino, you need to move as well the same as your avatar. So --if no one will watching you, it will perhaps need a big space where you can move properly. I assuming all of these because I have never tried using virtual reality goggles and I think, for now, this is very expensive to buy.
It costs a lot of money to spend to be able to access such a Virtual room and we save more than having to gamble with 3x the cost. Indeed, this is only an alternative choice, when the world of Metaverse provides 3D Virtual-based online gambling. However, it seems that it has not been fully effective for those of us who are more dominant in gambling at casinos without having to face to face between avatars.

The purpose of a "virtual reality" game is for a person to experience an immersive reality of seeing/experiencing the fantasy world of magic, combat, war, etc. That is why, most VR games are associated with shooting, sword fighting or magic. Creating a VR game that focuses purely on gambling can be a bit mundane and boring to begin with as it can be easily done if you would just visit a physical casino yourself.

Like what I also previously mentioned, creating a VR game may costs thousands of $$$ to create and I doubt that developers would risk such money to create something that is easily achievable.
