I had fun. Thanks to Steph Curry and that last shot by Lebron James.
Who would've thought this is where Steph will break his drought from shooting threes. He had bad stats most of his previous games in 3 point shots but today we saw something different. Maybe, he just forgot to have fun playing his favorite game. He was too stressed out about the record that must be broken and it continues.
I will expect to see more of that after the long break.

While I do understand that an all-star game has little to no defense at all, you can never discount the potential and skill of Steph Curry making 16 threes throughout the entire game.

What makes this more interesting is that he made all of those 3s in different types (e.g. off the dribble, corner, beyond the arc, catch and shoot, etc.). I mean he is just very exciting to watch and he literally changed on how players play the game of basketball. An open three-point to him is equitable to a lay-up- just effortless and easy.

2382  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 21, 2022, 04:02:26 PM
If reputed Casino's are being questioned for the privacy of KYC's then dam, its gonna be difficulty in the future. I mean Roobet is definitely making more money than anyone of us could imagine. Why the heck they would go and risk the business for KYC in-secure non sense.
Exactly. Besides, on Roobet, users who make small deposits/withdrawals (whom I believe are the majority) are requested to only complete the step one verification by providing some basic information such as the name, country, phone number without having to upload any document.
I am sure most of those complaining about kyc are publicly sharing more personal information than that on social media platforms.

I think that would definitely be a suicide move if Roobet decides to implement a KYC function as this would decrease their total number of players daily. KYC and other identity documents are what make/break the success of an online gambling company. While the latter must comply with the regulations prescribed in their country, there must be at least some sort of compromise if they really want to earn and maximize their profits.

Not only does KYC affect the success of an online gambling company but it also puts people at risk for identity theft or any other related problems.
2383  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bear Market thread on: February 21, 2022, 03:20:24 PM
Nakakagulat lang kasi noong pumatak yung price ng BTC around P3.1m, laman ng BTC ko inside my BitPay was around $2,000. When I sent it sa coins.ph account ko, roughly nasa ~P95,000 yung total nito pero biglang bumagsak yung value na due to the bear market and price ngayon ng BTC. To be honest, medyo nanghihinayang ako dahil dapat pala nag sell ako noong time na yun.

Given na it's been 1-2 months na nasa P1.9-P2.3m ang price ng BTC, talagang goal ko muna dito is long-term HODL. Medyo napagastos last Christmas kaya hopefully makabalik at makabawi yung price niya back to around P3m.
2384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: February 21, 2022, 01:43:34 PM
I also think about it,on why BTC more precious than eth or having a great value than eth, if we look at the use case of ethereum we can really say that it is also great, but I never argue to anyone about there decisions of choosing on btc or ethereum that was Thier own decision so it's up to them. The best part here is we can invest both of them and earn so let's buy both and earn for good.

There is a reason on why other cryptocurrencies beside BTC are called "altcoins", which signify that the latter are also coins that just alternate or better versions of BTCs. Though what drives the price of BTC in the market is the law on demand and supply, lots of these altcoins have generated significant returns in the past few months/years.

Personally, I would recommend diversifying one's portfolio by also investing in these altcoins, specifically ethereum. Lots of these altcoins also have been gaining recognition which puts them on the same spot as BTC's recognition and legality.

I don't think any other Team habe this concept by your car, innovation or the wrong turn?

We know small or nothing about RBR but yes Ferrari SHOULD be the only one using this type of concept.
But from the small leaks, we got even RBR has something unique in their car with their front sospensions.

Sadly we can't see this week's test.

What do you guys think about the design of the F1-75 of Ferrari? Most have mentioned that it is the most beautiful Ferrari F1 that they have created, but I do agree that the car looks definitely stunning especially with the gills on the body.

I am just really excited to see these cars in action. What do you guys think? With all the changes made with specific and strict regulations, do you think that F1 cars would be much faster/slower compared to last year's cars?
2386  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Online Casino Bonus for Crypto Players at Casitsu Online Casino on: February 21, 2022, 10:31:33 AM
I think the representative of the Casitsu should be active here to answer questions or at least read our feedback answering some questions would help their website to get players like me I was some concerns and curious about their website but with the absence of their representative I am having a doubt since I see that they are not that active and they don't answer some of the questions or concern of possible players.

Having an active customer support system is a key to the success of a gambling website. Unlike other gambling websites that lack any active participation in this forum, it is relatively difficult to ask for questions in the event that a problem arises on your end. Though this may be the case, you can always contract a representative provided in their website.

What I cannot fathom is supporting a gambling website that is entirely bogus and scam from the start. Even if they do have an active customer support service, it does not defeat or outweigh the fact that such website scams people (talking about 1xbit).

Actually, I just heard bitcoin earlier from my friend. He told me that this website functions like "reddit" (since I always use reddit) but in a more serious manner. Been searching some information about this and it actually caught my attention.

I posted this message back in 2017, not knowing that this forum was much different and complex than reddit. I used to read articles and do research on threads on reddit, that is why that became my point of comparison when I first replied here.

Looking back in 2017, the opportunities that this forum provided is just unreal. It provided me an opportunity to purchase my books for my education in college; and it somehow helped my family financially where I used some of my BTCs to purchase some household things.
2388  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia gives in and considers accepting bitcoin exchange on: February 20, 2022, 10:02:20 PM
https://www.euronews.com/next/2022/02/09/russia-s-government-and-central-bank-agree-to-treat-cryptos-as-currency

From considering a ban to admitting that it is nearly impossible to prevent the use of bitcoin, that is already extended to millions of its citizens that will not stop their trading and holding just for an official ban, the government has chosen a much wiser path, legalise and make sure that the actors of the market are clearly identified and can operate in full compliance with legislation.

This will definitely impact the price of bitcoin in the market. With one of the countries that used to ban BTC with their geographical location being ideal for mining, this kind of opportunity will attract future miners in setting up their system on the country.

I just do hope that other countries would start to accept BTC exchanges to their country. With its dominance in the transactions, I somehow doubt that prohibitions from other countries would last, given that a widespread of people have already utilized it. Let us just w and see that such payment method be implemented and integrated into our countries.
2389  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: stake.com- Does not have gambling responsibility on: February 20, 2022, 05:11:23 PM
Stake is one of 2-3 websites on this entire forum that offers gambling responsibility and self-exclusion. We will be introducing better tools very soon to help players responsibly manage their gameplay. In this specific situation I am not sure if the correct protocols were followed by the player but I will investigate further.

Under settings -> Preferences is where you can self-exclude your account automatically.

I suggest you get a tool to block all gambling like Gamban.

Bold move made by the representative of stake.com himself. The fact that the representative can easily be contacted speaks to how much integrity and honesty they want to represent themselves in the gambling atmosphere. I mean, all gambling websites are profit-driven (like all businesses) but providing extra tools to at least address gambling addiction by a gambling company itself is quite commendable.

I do suggest that you plan on excluding yourself from the gambling sphere, prepare alternative methods that will somehow help you forget about the feeling of such addiction.
2390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the best advice you received here? on: February 20, 2022, 04:58:31 PM
Holla bitcoin Forum,
I'm New here, what's to be done, although I had a brief about this.
What's the best advice you received here, pass it on to me!.
Might be useful in my journey ahead here.

If there is one lesson that helped me ranked-up and contribute to the forum, it is this advice: do not chase for merits by spamming posts; create substantial and quality replies and merits will be the one chasing you.

Unfortunately, most newbies nowadays are so obsessed with ranking-up their accounts in order to participate into campaign signatures. While that is totally understandable, it somehow creates hundreds of pages of spams across the forum which somehow degrades the overall quality of posts. If you really took your time reading and understanding the replies, not only do you help other newbies but you also help yourself.
2391  Economy / Gambling / Re: sportsbet.io lowers my odds !!!!! on: February 20, 2022, 04:54:46 PM
I'm sorry, but I naively thought that it was inappropriate to add another margin on the odds for those who win too much according to them.
I knew that we can't win against bookmakers, but I still find it a bit too much...
I know it's annoying, but sadly that's what some casinos or gambling platforms do. Maybe I would suggest you explore some other platforms to see if they don't impose such restrictions. A casino or gambling platform will use what they have in their terms and conditions, and you will almost not be able to win a case against them. That's what I have observed, at least.

I agree with what JeromeTrash mentioned.

It is under the authority of gambling websites to adjust their prescribed rates on a case-to-case basis. As much as that you find it annoying, I think this is also one way of maximizing their profits on their end. With lots of gamblers nowadays, exploring such option is a no-brainer to their side. Unfortunately, gamblers would have to suffer this kind of rule, though everything is stated under their prescribed rules and regulations.

If this kind of alteration ruins your betting experience, then you are always free to explore other gambling websites that are available.
2392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I convinced a Stock Trader to Invest in Bitcoin on: February 20, 2022, 04:44:21 PM
Just show the results that you have earned in bitcoin then everything will be done and they will be interested.
Even though this interest is only partially due to curiosity and seeing the benefits, this is only temporary because if they are interested, they will automatically look for ins and outs of information about bitcoin and they will be here to invest if they really study the interest well.

I have tried investing into stocks. I studied the market- all of the intrinsic and extrinsic factors; all the candles; the changes; and volatility. But from my months of experience handling with my stocks, most of my results seemed to be in the red.

After exploring different options, I stumbled upon BTC when my friend introduced me into this forum. After only a few weeks, my investments definitely earned more than what I invested in stocks. Though this experience may be isolated from others, I just want to share that investing here in BTC was the best decision that I have ever made.
2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I can't access a casino while my country isn't got blacklisted? on: February 20, 2022, 12:24:22 PM
Hi fellow gamblers,

I live in a country where gambling is actually legal, but due to some religions that consider gambling is illegal... gambling is pretty strict in my country but it's still allowed if you play on licensed casino, that's just my story.

Well, I've seen so many online casino in this forum and it's really attract me to play. But I don't know why I can't access the casino, while I can access the other casinos. My internet connection is good and my country doesn't got blacklisted by the casino, what's the problem then? Does this because my internet service provider, what should I do to solve this?

I wouldn't play with VPN since it's breaking their rules, I'm really looking to solve this. It's really sad when you want to play on specific casino but there's a barrier obstructing your desire. I know there's an alternative casinos, but I have some personal reason to play in specific casino...

This depends upon several factors but what most have mentioned, it may have something to do with your Internet Service Provider.

Generally, some ISPs have the authority to block certain websites if they are mandated by law (e.g. certain porn websites, etc.). If that were the case, you may check several online gambling websites since I somehow doubt that they can block all of these websites. Since you also mentioned that you want to avoid using any VPNs, then I suggest contacting your ISP and ask them directly about it.
2394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have concluded that all governments together can't stop bitcoin on: February 20, 2022, 06:39:11 AM
I get to be thinking what about all the government of the world unite and decide to stop bitcoin and cryptocurrency ?  Grin

I have wondered if this is possible to happen despite bitcoin being decentralized. Within me, I don't think that is no more possible because bitcoin is now unstoppable. Just like water is to the fish, bitcoin is the light of the earth.

What do you say yourself ?

I think the only way that cryptocurrencies can be stopped is if all people decided to just disregard and not use it. What drives the price of almost all cryptocurrencies is the general law of demand and supply. If government prohibitions can somehow affect its price, then a wide-scale global prohibition can somehow stop BTC, though it will definitely decrease significantly its price on the market, thereby making it obsolete.

Though what I mentioned above is highly unlikely to happen, still, we should not discount the possibility of it from happening. While its utilization is ongoing, better take the opportunity and grab such privilege of joining.
2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CrazyTime and Monopoly, should we trust? on: February 19, 2022, 07:33:22 PM
That was a tough question if it's about putting our trust. I rarely bet on that type of game but I do before. I even think it was fair since even it's pre-recorded or I don't know the term to call it if I bet it right, I will win. But too much for speculation now as my conclusion now is, I won't play on those games from now.

Not saying I don't trust them but not comfortable risking money at live games.

I definitely agree with your point.

The problem with live games is that they are prone to manipulation at some point and they are not probably fair. The developers have complete freedom to at least manipulate the odds in their favor, even if this is not likely the case. At this kind of gambling, what you are risking is the trust that you have over the online gambling website. But for the safest bet and odds, it is better to avoid or bet a minimum amount in case something happens.
2396  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fun Stats about Bitcoin Casinos | Infographic on: February 18, 2022, 03:29:45 PM
*Number of new casinos that appeared in each year

2015 we've seen the decline of the new casinos launching but expecting I guess considering it's a bear market during that period though I haven't been in the space yet. But even during the 2018 bear market we've seen it to keep on boosting, perhaps casinos are in-demand and profitable business. I wonder if you could make a timeline of those crypto casinos that experience hacks before?

It is actually very interesting to see that during 2015 (the time where BTC was first starting to boom), people already considered gambling with it. I guess, gambling takes various forms and as long as a mode of currency is available then it would be wagered.

I tried accessing the first BTC casino (e.g. switchpoker.com, etc.) but it seems that their domain has been sold/expired. I wonder how many gambling casinos are still ongoing despite all the crashes, hacks, and problems they have encountered throughout the years.
2397  Economy / Reputation / Re: [POEM/SONG] Congratulation to me for full member rank. on: February 18, 2022, 02:00:54 PM
Congratulations for reaching this milestone where at least 80% of the total forum members cannot attain. With your determination, wit, and intelligence, you definitely have the potential to reach another new milestone in the coming months.

I actually play the piano and the song you composed intrigued me. It is in the key of "G" so the song will sound relatively lively until the end. But you are right with the lyrics, most people took for granted the development of BTC. Almost all of the people only took notice of it once its price reached thousands of dollars in the market where people only saw its true potential.
2398  Economy / Economics / Re: Why many USA senator against bitcoin? on: February 17, 2022, 11:32:25 PM
We have seen there are miscellaneous reactions about bitcoin among US senators. On one side Colorado Governor Jared Schutz Polis announced that "his state will begin accepting Bitcoin for tax payments starting this summer" on the other hand Senators Jim Risch, Bill Cassidy, and Bob Mendez look aggressive against any step towards bitcoin implementations.

Some said using bitcoin as payments instead of US dollars will demolish the sanction power of the USA towards other countries. Do they fear bitcoin for losing control over the world economy or do they know the adoption of bitcoin will diminish the unchallenged sovereignty of USD?

I think it has something to do with financial freedom and control. With the transaction of BTCs involving anonymity, the government will lose control over its transactions especially on the fact of the nature/origin of the funds. I guess they really want to avoid any transactions that will compromise their country's security.

Overall, I do also feel that the positive effects of transacting BTCs outweigh the negative effects of it on the market. Its potential and opportunities is just too good to be slept on and to be ignored by the government- I just hope they find that sweet spot and compromise to at least implement it into their transactions.
2399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 17, 2022, 11:08:34 PM
~ Seth Curry had two nice games and I'm curious about his performance after Kevin Durant comes back also.
I don't see any problem there but it all depends on how the coach uses both of them. I think he will remain a starter for the team while Patty Mills will come from the bench.

The better question here is who will be the starting guard when Irving is eligible to play. I bet Seth will come in as a sub. His minutes will be reduced also so expect his production to go down as well.

Regardless, Curry could still contribute to the team like he did in his previous team. I just don't see why his been traded many times despite the fact that he is a great contributor, especially on the offensive side.

I feel like he is somehow overshadowed by his brother, like people are comparing and expecting him to be on the same league as Steph despite the former being an all-around efficient league scorer. To be honest, Seth Curry has been performing exceptionally well on his games. He can shoot, dribble, and at least attack the basket with a great finish. People have been sleeping on him and I just wish he can find a team where all of them are comfortable with him shooting.

Jokic just 2 assists short for another tripple double in that game against the Warriors. He may not be athletic unlike other Centers but he is surely one of the craftiest big man to ever play in the league. He's like a guard stuck in a huge body. Is there anyone who plays Center that you could compare his passing skills?

He is just unbelievable especially on the final moments. He can create plays that will make his team efficient and score the basket. During the last and final minutes of the quarter, he was able to create a play that made a comeback from their deficit against the overwhelming and dominant Warriors- Jokic is just a beast on the game.
